Penetration is the most critical concept in ballistic studies. Penetration is defined as the ability to penetrate the target. Penetrator tip geometry and velocity are the most important factors in terms of the penetration. There are many limitations in increasing the velocity of the penetrator. Therefore, projectile geometry can be studied in this field. So, in this study, six different tip geometry of bullet are investigated in terms of the ballistic impact performance. Numerical simulations are performed in ANSYS program, which is the finite element program. Explicit dynamics toolbox is used to perform the numerical study. Six different tip geometry of bullet was modeled in 3D modeling program. The geometries are transferred to the ANSY workbench program. Initial velocity is accepted as 300 m/s for all conditions. Within this study, the impact energy performance of six different bullet tip geometry was obtained. In addition, stress and deformation results on the target were also compared.

Bu çalışmada hizmet içi eğitim faaliyetlerinin çalışanların performans seviyeleri üzerindeki etkisi, çalışanların görüşleri dikkate alınarak değerlendirilmektedir. Bu kapsamda ilk olarak hizmet içi eğitim ve ilgili kavramlara değinilmiştir. Çalışanların performansları üzerine yapılan çalışmalar üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın uygulama bölümünde ise SHELL akaryakıt istasyonunda çalışan personelle yapılan anketler neticesinde elde edilen bulgulara yer verilmiştir. Yapılan analizler neticesinde istasyon çalışanlarının hizmet içi eğitime olan bakış açılarının kişilerin demografik özelliklerine göre şekillendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. In this study, the effect of In-Service Training activities on the performance levels of employees is evaluated by taking the opinions of the employees into consideration. In this context, firstly in-service training and related concepts are mentioned. The studies and theories about the performances of the employees are emphasized. In the application part of the study, the findings obtained as a result of the surveys conducted with the personnel working at the SHELL fuel station are included. As a result of the analyzes, it was concluded that the point of view of the employees of the station in the In-Service Training was shaped according to the demographic characteristics of the individuals. 98

ÖZET Bu çalışmada quasi-lineer Schrödinger denklemiyle ifade edilen optimal kontrol problemi incelenmiştir. Kontrol fonksiyonu incelenen denklemde katsayı fonksiyonu olarak bulunmaktadır. İlk olarak quasi-lineer Schrödinger denkleminin çözümünün varlık ve teklik problemi, katsayı fonksiyonlarının sınırlılığından faydalanarak ispatlanmıştır. İkinci olarak optimal kontrol probleminin çözümünün varlığı, fonksiyonelin sürekliliğinin ispatı ile ve tekliği de fonksiyonelin kesin konveks olmasının ispatı ile gösterilmiştir. Son olarak ise minimumun bulunmasında kullanılan gradyent metodunun yakınsaması incelenmiştir. Ayrıca problemin sayısal çözümü için gerekli algoritma verilmiş ve durum iki quantum mekaniksel problem üzerinde incelenmiştir. Bu problemler için Fortran-90 programlan yazılmış ve oldukça başarılı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. SUMMARY In this study, an optimal control problem governed by quasi-linear Schrödinger equation has been investigated. The control function is the coefficient function of the equation. Firstly, the problem of existence and uniqueness of the solution of the quasi-linear Schrödinger equation has been proven using the fact that the coefficient functions are bounded. Secondly, the existence of the solution of optimal control problem has been demonstrated by proving the continuity of the cost functional and the uniqueness of the solution of optimal control problem has been demonstrated by proving the strictly convexity of the cost functional. Then, the convergence of the gradient method used for finding of minimum has been shown. In addition, for the numerical solution of the problem, necessary algorithm is given and the issue is examined on two quantum mechanical problems. For these problems, Fortran-90 programs are written and extremely successful results are obtained. 60

ÖZET Optimal kontrol problemleri açıklanarak adi ve kısmi diferensiyel operatörlerle yönetilen optimal kontrol problemlerine örnekler verildi. Durumu lineer Schrödinger denklemiyle belirtilen optimal kontrol problemi matematiksel olarak ifade edildikten sonra, çözüm için iki kestirim elde edildi. Çözümün varlığı ve tekliği için gerekli şartlar ispatlandı. Daha sonra farklar şebekesinin hatası için ve fark yaklaşıklarının fonksiyonele göre yığılma hızı için kestirim ispat edildi. Yaklaşık çözüm algoritması kurularak bu algoritmalar için de ayrıca kestirimler ispatlandı. 11 SUMMARY Explaining optimal control problems, we have given some examples for optimal control problems controlled by ordinary and partial differential operators. After optimal control problem which is stated through linear Schrödinger equation have been expressed mathematically, we have introduced two estimates. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existance and uniqueness of the solution have been proven. For the error of the difference scheme and for the convergence speed of difference approximations according to functional, estimates have been established. Setting approximate solution algorithms, we prove estimates for these algoritms too. Finally, we discuss the error of the solution on a Fortran program. 75

In the present study, one-dimensional advection–diffusion equation with constant coefficients is solved using Galerkin Method. We give the generlized solution of this equation. Two examples are presented for the numerical solution of this equation and results are compared with exact solution.
