The most important requirement for today’s general education is the development of a personality with well-developed business skills. The research aims to experimentally verify the methodology for developing business skills in high school students using project activities. The number of group participants is as follows: 225 high school students aged between 14 and 17 in experimental and control group. The following forms and methods were used: reading biographies of prominent businessmen from all over the world; role-playing situations; meetings with people who have succeeded in economic, entrepreneurial, pedagogical and other fields; visits to companies, enterprises, cultural and scientific institutions; certain business games (“How can one live within one’s means?”, “Starting a business”, “Business communication”, “Manager’s working week”), conversations on such topics as “Is it difficult to be a businessman?”, “How can one succeed in learning?”, “Tell me about myself”; the “this is my opinion” student platform.The following diagnostic methods were used: the method called “Determining a self-focus”; the method called “Striving for achievements”; questionnaires about creativity; the communication and organization skills methodology; methods for studying the level of subjective locus of control; methods for identifying risk preparedness; the scale of reactive (situational) and personal anxiety; the tolerance index questionnaire. The number of high school students with a high level of business skills has increased by 12.8% in EG and only by 1.3 in CG. The comparison of the results proves the effectiveness of the proposed methodology for developing business skills in high school students using project activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Nowadays, sport gives more consistent results than in the past. Therefore, it is important to use sports achievements in physical education of pupils and students in order to increase physical potential of the mankind. The research aims to theoretically justify and experimentally verify a pedagogical technology of training future teachers to organize school sport. Physical training can be considered effective if a relevant technology has been introduced. This technology should consist of the following pedagogical conditions: applying sports and physical education; conducting workshops (practice-oriented training); strengthening joint efforts of subject lecturers; organizing active forms of research activities; conducting systematic monitoring and evaluation; providing lecturers and students with educational and methodological literature. Methods: pedagogical observation, modelling, interviewing, diagnostic interviews, questionnaires, expert evaluation; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. Three experimental groups (56, 30, 27 respondents) and three control groups (55, 30, 29 respondents) were formed. The overall results obtained from control and experimental groups during the formative experiment show positive dynamics of changes in experimental groups. The formulated conclusions verify the research hypothesis that the proposed technology can significantly increase readiness of future teachers to organize school sport provided it has been introduced into practical activities of higher education institutions. Top sports results in shooting relate to the high athlete's capacity, which is based on his physical conditioning. The purpose of the work was to study the effect of simulation exercises on the physical conditioning of junior skeet shooters at the stage of preliminary basic training. The following methods were used: analysis and generalization of library resources, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment and methods of mathematical statistics. To assess the conditioning of athletes, a set of tests was used to determine stamina and coordination abilities. The study involved 22 athletes of the Olympic Reserve Junior Special School "Signal" and Complex Junior Sport School "Kolos" in Lviv (Ukraine), specializing in skeet shooting. The skeet shooters were divided into experimental and control groups. It is revealed that theoretically and practically shotgun shooting needs solving the requirements and tasks that relate to various aspects of shooters' training, including physical ones. The positive dynamics of the shooters' physical conditioning in the experimental group was found: the probable differences between the experimental and control groups were determined by the following indices: lifting the body from the lying position during 30 seconds (p = 0.030), the test "ten eights" (p <0.001) and throwing tennis ball at the target (p = 0.017). The necessity of applying pedagogical tests is grounded, which allow defining such physical qualities as: stamina and coordination abilities.
