Abstract: Sirtuins (SIRTs) are described as NAD+-dependent deacetylases, also known as class III histone deacetylases. So far, seven sirtuin genes (SIRTS 1–7) have been identified and characterized in mammals and also known to occur in bacteria and eukaryotes. SIRTs are involved in various biological processes including endocrine system, apoptosis, aging and longevity, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, obesity, inflammation, etc. Among them, the best characterized one is SIRT1. Actually, small molecules seem to be the most effective SIRT modulators. Flavonoids have been reported to possess many positive effects favrable for human health, while a relatively less research has been reported so far on their funcions as SIRT modulation mechanisms. In this regard, we herein aimed to focus on modulatory effects of flavonoids on SIRTs as the most common secondary metabolites in natural products. Our literature survey covering the years of 2006-2021 pointed out that flavonoids frequently interact with SIRT1 and SIRT3 followed by SIRT6. It can be also concluded that some popular flavonoid derivatives, e.g. resveratrol, quercetin, and catechin derivatives came forward in terms of SIRT modulation.

The absolute configurations of the known but unusual spiro-flavostilbenoids found in the bark of Yucca schidigera Roezl ex Ortgies, were determined by applying time-dependent density functional theory simulation of electronic circular dichroism spectra. The absolute configurations obtained were as follows: (2S,3R) for yuccaol A, yuccaol D and yuccalide A; (2S,3S) for yuccaol B, yuccaol C and yuccaol E; (2S,3S,2'S,3'S) for gloriosaol A; (2S,3R,2'S,3'R) for gloriosaol C; (2S,3S,2'S,3'R) for gloriosaol D; (2S,3R,2'S,3'S) for gloriosaol E. These findings indicate that the compounds are all biosynthetic derivatives either of (2R)-naringenin and trans-resveratrol or of trans-3,3',5,5'-tetrahydroxy-4'-methoxystilbene. In contrast, gloriosaols are direct derivatives of yuccaols (note that substituting by stilbenoid changes the absolute configuration of C-2 naringenin carbon to 2S). A putative mechanism for their biosynthesis is proposed taking into account key aspects of regio- and stereoselectivity. Inclusive education has come to the agenda again due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, research on rural-urban inequality in inclusive education during COVID-19 pandemic is limited. This study aims to reveal the regional challenges for inclusive distance education during COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey. We adopted qualitative research design and a case study model. We chose two different study group among undergraduate students both living in disadvantaged rural areas and living in socio-economically advantageous cities. The participants were 38 undergraduate students. This qualitative study was performed in 2021-2022 academic year. The results revealed that there were notable differences between the two groups’ views on the inclusiveness and effectiveness of distance education. The first group reported the challenges stemmed from disadvantaged economic conditions. The second group reported the problems such as lack of motivation, stress, mental fatigue, and trouble focusing. Distance education is seen non-inclusive and ineffective by the first group. The second group evaluates distance education as inclusive and sufficient. The participants also made suggestions to increase inclusiveness of distance education.

The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of school principals regarding the selection, training and appointment of school administrators. For this purpose, this study was conducted in a qualitative research design and case study model. The study group was 30 school principals. Data were collected via the focus group interviewing technique and a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers based on the experts’ opinion. The data obtained through the semi-structured interviewing form were analyzed using inductive content analysis technique. The data obtained from the focus group interview were analysed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The main themes were ‘selecting administrator’, ‘training administrator’, and ‘administrator appointing’. 14 sub-themes were determined related to these main themes. School principals state that the proficiency, exam and interview scores should be taken into consideration in the selection of administrators for schools. School principals state that school administrators should be trained on the basis of pre-service training, in-service training, post-graduate degree, and on-the-job training practices. According to school principals, the principles of impartiality and justice should be taken into account in appointing administrators to schools and objective criteria should be determined. On the other hand, professional experience, professional competence, education, administrative skills and personal characteristics should be considered., Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul müdürlerinin okullara yönetici seçilmesi, yetiştirilmesi ve atanmasına ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla çalışma, nitel araştırma deseninde ve durum çalışması modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 30 okul müdürü oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından uzman görüşü alınarak geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve odak grup görüşmesi tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla elde edilen veriler, tümevarımsal içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Odak grup görüşmesinden elde edilen veriler ise betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Ana temalar; yönetici seçme, yönetici yetiştirme ve yönetici atama şeklindedir ve bu ana temalarla ilişkili 14 alt tema belirlenmiştir. Okul müdürleri, okullara yönetici seçmede yeterlik, sınav ve mülakat puanının göz önünde bulundurulması gerektiğini ifade etmektedir. Okul müdürleri, yöneticilerin hizmet öncesi eğitim, hizmetiçi eğitim, yüksek lisans eğitimi ve işbaşında eğitim uygulamalarına dayalı olarak yetiştirilmesi gerektiğini dile getirmektedir. Okul müdürlerine göre, okullara yönetici atamada, tarafsızlık ve adalet ilkelerinin göz önünde bulundurulmalı ve objektif kriterler belirlenmelidir. Bunların yanı sıra, mesleki deneyim, mesleki yeterlik, eğitim, yönetsel beceriler ve kişisel özellikler göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.

The purpose of this study is to examine the professional values and skills to be gained to classroom teachers in in-service training process. The research was designed in the qualitative case study model. The study group was 10 school administrators working in elementary schools in a Northeast Anatolia province of Turkey. The study group was determined by using criteria sampling method. The data were collected through a semi-structured interview form and analyzed by using content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques. 24 different values were determined should gain through in-service training to class teachers. Based on the results it can be suggested that the personal values should be given teachers through pre-service and in-service training. The professional skills should be gained teachers through in-service training including communication skills, technology using skills, pedagogical content knowledge, planning skills, material designing and using skills. In addition, the professional values such as cooperation, love of teaching profession, leadership, role-modeling, self-renewal, sacrifice and solidarity can be gained teachers through in-service training. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerine hizmetiçi eğitim sürecinde kazandırılacak mesleki değerler ve becerilerin incelenmesidir. Araştırma, nitel durum çalışması modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırma Kuzeydoğu Anadolu’da bir ilde görevli 10 okul yöneticisiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, ölçüt örnekleme ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz teknikleriyle analiz edilmiştir. Sınıf öğretmenlerine hizmetiçi eğitim yoluyla kazandırılması gereken 24 değer belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına dayalı olarak öğretmenlere hizmet öncesi ve hizmet içi eğitim yoluyla kişisel değerler kazandırılması gerektiği önerilebilir. Öğretmenlere hizmet içi eğitimler yoluyla iletişim becerisi, teknoloji kullanma becerisi, alan bilgisi, planlama becerisi, materyal tasarlama ve kullanma becerisi kazandırılmalıdır. Ayrıca hizmet içi eğitimlerle öğretmenlere işbirliği, meslek sevgisi, liderlik, rol model olma, kendini yenileme, fedakârlık ve dayanışma gibi profesyonel beceriler kazandırılabilir.

The purpose of this study is to determine the fulfilment level of general aims of Turkish National Education according to the opinions of prospective teachers. For this purpose, based on the general objectives of the Turkish National Education the ‘Educational Objectives Scale’ was developed by researcher, validity and reliability were tested, and used as data collection tool. The research was in the quantitative research design and survey model. The sample group was 259 undergraduate students. The sample group was determined by using cluster sampling technique. The results show that the goals such as ‘to raise citizens who adopt national values and who love their homeland and nation’ fulfilled at a higher level than other sub-dimensions. The findings also show that the aims of the National Education System in ‘good human development’ sub-dimension include ‘raising a balanced individuals who have personality and character, respectful to the human rights, and have responsibility towards the society’ fulfilled at a medium level. On the other hand, the findings show that the aims such as ‘to educate individuals who have a wide world view and free and scientific thinking power’ fulfilled at a low level, relatively. In addition, the findings show that the fulfilment level of the aims in the ‘preparation for the profession’ was quite low. The participants in the field of Guidance and Psychological Counselling find the fulfilment level of the main aims of the Turkish National Education system relatively inadequate in terms of good citizen training, good human rearing and preparing for the profession compared to the participants in other license fields., Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerine göre, Türk Millî Eğitiminin genel amaçlarının gerçekleşme düzeyini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla, Türk Millî Eğitiminin genel amaçları temel alınarak ‘Eğitim Amaçları Ölçeği’ geliştirilmiş, geçerlik ve güvenirliği test edilerek veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, nicel araştırma deseninde ve tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu 259 lisans öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem grubu, küme örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları, millî değerleri benimseyen, vatanını ve milletini seven yurttaşlar yetiştirmeye yönelik amaçların diğer alt boyutlara oranla daha yüksek düzeyde gerçekleştiğini göstermektedir. Araştırmada, Milli Eğitim Sisteminin ‘iyi insan yetiştirme’ alt boyutunda yer alan ‘insan haklarına saygılı ve topluma karşı sorumluluk duyan, dengeli, kişilik ve karakter sahibi bireyler yetiştirir’ şeklindeki amaçlarının, ‘orta düzeyde’ gerçekleştiğini göstermektedir. Öte yandan bulgular, ‘hür ve bilimsel düşünme gücüne, geniş bir dünya görüşüne sahip bireyler yetiştirir’ şeklindeki amaçların görece ‘düşük düzeyde’ gerçekleştiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca sonuçlar, Milli Eğitim Sisteminin ‘mesleğe hazırlama’ alt boyutundaki amaçlarının gerçekleşme düzeyinin ‘oldukça düşük’ olduğunu göstermektedir. Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık lisans alanındaki katılımcılar, Türk Milli Eğitim Sisteminin temel amaçlarının gerçekleşme düzeyini, diğer lisans alanındaki katılımcılara göre iyi vatandaş yetiştirme, iyi insan yetiştirme ve mesleğe hazırlama alt boyutlarında görece daha düşük bulmaktadır.

OBJECTIVES: The scope of the present study was to specify the therapeutic potential for neurodegenerative diseases through evaluating cholinesterase and tyrosinase (TYR) inhibitory and antioxidant activity of Lysimachia verticillaris (LV), and to isolate the major compounds considering the most active fraction. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The methanol extract (ME) of LV and the chloroform, ethyl acetate (EtOAC), and aqueous fractions obtained from it were used for biological activity and isolation studies. The ME and all fractions were tested for their acetylcholinesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), and TYR inhibitory and antioxidant potentials using ELISA microtiter assays. Seven major compounds were isolated from the active EtOAC fraction by semi-preparative high performance liquid chromatography. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by several spectroscopic methods. RESULTS: Marked AChE inhibitory activity was observed in the EtOAC fraction (6337±1.74%), BChE inhibitory activity in the ME and EtOAC fraction (85.84±3.01% and 83.82±3.93%), total phenol content in the EtOAC fraction (261.59±3.95 mg equivalent of gallic acid/1 g of extract) and total flavonoid contents in the EtOAC fraction (515.54±2.80 mg equivalent of quercetin/1 g of extract), and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity and ferric-reducing antioxidant power values in the aqueous and EtOAC fractions (92.54±0.67%, 92.11±0.30%; 2.318±0.054, 2.224±0.091, respectively). Accordingly, the isolation studies were carried out on the EtOAC fractions. Compounds 1-7 (gallic acid, (+)-catechin, myricetin 3-O-arabinofuranoside, myricetin 3-O-α-rhamnopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-β-glucopyranoside, quercetin 3-O-arabinofuranoside, and quercetin 3-O-α-rhamnopyranoside, respectively) were isolated from the active EtOAC fraction. CONCLUSION: LV may be a potential herbal source for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases based on its strong antioxidant activity and significant cholinesterase inhibition similar to that of the reference.

Araştırma nicel araştırma deseninde ve tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür.Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu, tabakalı örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen 960öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilenyönetsel özellikler ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Öğretmenler, okul müdürlerininyönetsel özelliklerini, babacan-anlayışlı (f=199, %20.7), yeterli-yardımsever (f=153, %15.8),demokratik-katılımcı (f=148, %15.9), otoriter-kuralcı (f=133, %13.7), donanımlı-lideryönetici (f=133, %13.7), yetersiz-mevzuatçı (f=78, %8.1), etkisiz-günükurtarıcı (f=71, %7.4) ve karizmatik-buyurgan (f=45, %4.7) şeklindedeğerlendirmektedir. Öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinde gözlemlediğikültüre bağlı yönetsel özellikler, resmî, hoşgörülü, tedbirli, samimi, duyarlı, sonuçodaklı, ilkeli, hırslı, düzenli, baskın, yenilikçi ve mantıklı şeklindedir.Öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinde görmek istediği evrensel liderlik değerleri iseadalet, donanım, etkili iletişim, motive edicilik, ileri görüşlülük (vizyon),zekâ, dürüstlük, güvenilirlik, ekip kuruculuk, tutarlılık, dinamizm vekararlılık şeklindedir.

Bu araştırma, okul müdürlerinin sergilediği yönetsel özellikleri ve yönetim stillerini yönetim kuramları açısından değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma nicel araştırma deseninde ve tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu, Trabzon il merkezindeki okullarda görevli, 850 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Yönetim Stilleri Ölçeği aracılığı ile elde edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin %20.7’si, okul müdürlerinin babacan-anlayışlı, %15.9’u yardımsever, %15.4’ü demokratik-katılımcı, %13.9’u donanımlı-lider yönetici, %13.9’u kuralcı, %8.1’i mevzuatçı, %7.4’ü günü kurtarıcı, %4.7’si ise otoriter yönetsel özellikler sergilediğini belirtmektedir. Okul müdürlerinin yönetim stilleri =3.13 ile bilimsel yönetim, =3.09 ile yönetim süreçleri, =3.23 ile bürokratik yönetim, =3.52 ile insan ilişkileri yaklaşımı, =3.46 ile davranış bilimleri yaklaşımı, =3.36 ile sistem yaklaşımı, =3.59 ile TKY yaklaşımı ve =3.42 ile liderlik yaklaşımına uygunluk göstermektedir. Öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin yönetim stillerine ilişkin görüşleri arasında meslek kıdemi değişkenleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık görülmemekte; cinsiyet ve okul türü değişkenleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık görülmektedir.

Bu araştırma, okul müdürlerinin görev önceliklerine ve karar alma süreçlerini etkileyen faktörlere ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma desenindedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2013-2014 eğitim öğretim yılında, Trabzon il merkezindeki okullarda görevli 20 okul müdürü oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu, amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden biri olan maksimum çeşitlilik örneklem tekniğiyle belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından uzman görüşü alınarak geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış grid formu ile toplanmıştır. Veriler, betimsel analiz tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Okul müdürlerinin görev önceliklerinin ilk sırasında, okul amaçlarını gerçekleştirme yer almaktadır. Diğer öncelikli görevler ise sınav başarısı, kaliteli eğitim ve öğretmenlerin iş doyumudur. Okul müdürlerinin, karar alma süreçlerini etkileyen faktörlerin ilk sırasında yasa ve yönetmelikler yer almaktadır. Okul müdürleri, karar alma süreçlerini etkileyen diğer faktörleri, öğretmen ve müdür yardımcılarının görüş ve önerileri, okulun eğitim amaçları şeklinde ifade etmektedir., This study aims to reveal school administrators’ opinions on task priorities and the factors affecting their decision-making process. This study was designed in qualitative research pattern. The study group consists of 20 school principals working in Trabzon city centre during 2013-2014 academic year. Study group was determined by using maximum variation sampling technique. Data was obtained by using structured grid form which was developed by the researcher. Data was analysed by using descriptive analysis method. To perform school purposes is seen as the highest priority task by the school principals. School achievement, qualified education and teachers’ job satisfaction are seen as other task priorities in schools. The main factor mostly affecting decision-making process of school administrators is laws and regulations. School administrators state that the other factors affecting their decision-making process in schools are teachers’ and vice-principals’ opinions and suggestions, and the school’s educational aims.

BACKGROUND: Antioxidant capacity of the chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-butanol and water fractions of the aerial parts of Calluna vulgaris (L.) Hull (Ericaceae) has been assessed in this study. Antioxidant capacity of the plant was screened by assays of 2,2-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl, superoxide anion and hydrogen peroxide scavenging, metal-chelating activity and reducing power. Butylated hydroxyanisole was used as reference in all assays; ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid was also used as reference in the assay of metal-chelating activity. Total phenolic contents of the fractions were determined by the Folin–Ciocalteu method. RESULTS: Liquid chromatography/diode array detection/mass spectrometry was used for phytochemical identification of the fractions. Kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactoside was found to be the major constituent in the ethyl acetate fraction (37.1 ± 0.9%), followed by the n-butanol fraction (4.6 ± 0.1%). High occurrence of antioxidant capacity, with the exception of metal-chelating activity, was observed in the ethyl acetate and chloroform fractions as well as in kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactoside. CONCLUSION:Calluna vulgaris and its major flavonoid, kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactoside, show high antioxidant capacity in various assays. As far as is known, this is the first report on antioxidant capacity of C. vulgaris and its major flavonoid. Copyright © 2009 Society of Chemical Industry

The organizations able to continue existence, and to be more productive and realise purposes effectively have to be in change and improvement forever. The educational organizations are being affected changes around them on the other hand both responsible to start and manage the change as a social organization. School administators’ have need improve organizations based on continuity as well as ownes. The purpose of this research to evaluate competencies of secondary school administrators’ about change management as opinions of teachers’ and assistant managers’ who work at secondary schools. This study was realised by descriptive method resorted to 45 assistant managers and teachers perceptions in 20 different secondary schools in the city centre in Trabzon. The assistant managers’ and teachers’ perceptions based on mean, standart deviation and frequencies each for item about school administrators’ adequacy to manage the changing. In this research profited defining the difference independent t- test for function and one way ANOVA for school types and attending the courses about change management. In this research change managers’ adequacy was determined as information, talent and attitude and compared the adequacy of school administrators’. The school directors have been evaluated about effeiciencies of change management as “good” by the assistant directors and “average” by the teachers who participated in this research., Örgütler; varlıklarını sürdürebilmek, daha verimli hale gelmek, amaçlarını etkili bir şekilde gerçekleştirebilmek için sürekli değişmek ve yenileşmek zorundadırlar. Eğitim örgütleri, bir yandan yaşanan değişimlerden etkilenirken, aynı zamanda toplumsal bir kurum olarak değişimi başlatmak ve yönlendirmekle de yükümlüdürler. Okul yöneticilerinin, hem kendilerini hem de kurumlarını süreklilik temelinde geliştirme yeterliklerine sahip olmaları gerekmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, Ortaöğretim kurumlarında görevli öğretmenler ve müdür yardımcılarının görüşlerine göre okul yöneticilerinin değişimi yönetme yeterliklerini değerlendirmektir. Betimsel tarama yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilen araştırmada, Trabzon il merkezinde yer alan 20 ortaöğretim kurumunda görev yapan 45 müdür yardımcısı ile 255 öğretmenden oluşan 300 eğitimcinin görüşüne başvurulmuştur. Okul yöneticilerinin değişimi yönetme yeterlikleri konusunda, müdür yardımcıları ve öğretmenlerin her bir maddeyle ilgili görüşlerinin aritmetik ortalamaları, standart sapma değerleri ve frekans dağılımları değerlendirilmektedir. Farklılıkları belirlemede; görev durumu için bağımsız t- testinden, okul tipleri ve değişme yönetimi ile ilgili kurslara katılmaya bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan farklılıkları anlamada tek faktörlü ANOVA’dan yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada değişim yöneticisinin sahip olması gereken değişimi yönetme yeterlilik alanları; bilgi, beceri ve tutum olarak belirlenmekte, okul yöneticilerinin yeterlikleri ile karşılaştırılmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler okul yöneticilerini değişimi yönetme yeterlikleri konusunda “orta” düzeyde yeterli, müdür yardımcıları ise “iyi” düzeyde yeterli olarak değerlendirmektedirler.

This study was conducted quantitative research design.The purpose of this study is to determineteachers’ opinion related to thedisruptive behaviours of gifted students in classroom environment and management them.Semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool which developed by researcher.The study group consists of 52 primary school teachersand itwas determined by using easily accessiblecase sampling method among the 168teachers who serve the schools which send students to the Giresun Science and Art Centre in 2011-2012 academic year.7.7% of teachers adressed that they had been participated frequently; 19.2% of them sometimes; 28.8% of them rarely and 44.3% of them never participated to the course or seminary related to the educating of gifted students. 40.4% of the teachers frequently; 30.8% of them sometimes; 25% of them rarely and 3.8% of themnever have problems with gifted students in classroom environment.Disruptive behaviours which gifted students’ exhibit in the classroom environment emerge as disrupting the learning environment and acting disinterested.The methods applied by teachers in managing disruptive behaviours of gifted students in the classroom are in the form; support and sanctions., Bu araştırma nitel araştırma desenindedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2011-2012 eğitim öğretim yılında, Giresun Bilim ve Sanat Merkezine öğrenci gönderen 168 öğretmen arasından, kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi yöntemiyle belirlenen 52 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır.Öğretmenlerin %7.7’si, üstün yeteneklilerin eğitimi ile ilgili kurs ve seminerlere sıklıkla katıldıklarını; %19.2’si bazen katıldıklarını; %28.8’i nadiren katıldıklarını ve %44.3’ü ise hiç katılmadıklarını belirtmektedir. Öğretmenlerin %40.4’ü üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin sınıf ortamında sıklıkla; %30.8’i bazen; %25’i nadiren olumsuz davranışlar sergiledikleri şeklinde görüş belirtmektedir. Öğretmenlerin sadece %3.8’i, üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin sınıf ortamında hiç olumsuz davranış sergilemediği görüşündedir. Üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin sınıf ortamında sergilediği olumsuz davranışlar ilgisiz davranma ve öğrenme ortamını bozma şeklinde ortaya çıkmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin sınıf ortamındaki olumsuz davranışlarını yönetmede başvurduğu yöntemler; destekleme ve yaptırım uygulama şeklindedir.

ÖzetOkul yöneticilerinin liderlik stilleri ile okulların öğrenen örgüt olma düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada, ilişkisel desen ve nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2012-2013 eğitim öğretim yılında, Trabzon il merkezindeki 14 lisede görevli, 1070 öğretmen arasından tabakalı örneklem alma yöntemiyle belirlenen 240 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, çok faktörlü liderlik stilleri ölçeği (MLQ) ve örgütlerde öğrenen organizasyon disiplinlerinin gerçekleşme düzeyini belirleme ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubunun anket maddelerine verdiği yanıtlar sayısallaştırılarak, frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma değerleri analiz edilmiştir. Değişkenlere ilişkin puanlar arasındaki farklılıkları belirlemede Bağımsız t Testi, ölçeklerden elde edilen puanlar arasındaki ilişkilerin saptanmasında Pearson Çarpım Momentler Korelâsyon Analizi, okul yöneticilerinin liderlik stilleri ile okulların öğrenen örgüt olma düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemede ise Çoklu Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır.Regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre, okul müdürlerinin dönüşümcü liderlik davranışları ile okulların öğrenen örgüt olma düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde ve yüksek düzeyde istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki [r= .76, p< .01] görülmektedir., The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between becoming a learning organization level of the schools and the principals' leadership styles. The study was designed in quantitative research model, and the relational patterns were used. The study was conducted on 240 teachers were determined by using stratified sampling method among 1070 teachers who serve in 14 high schools in Trabzon province in 2012-2013 academic year. As a data collection instrument the Multifactor Leadership Styles Questionnaire (MLQ) which developed by Bass and Avolio and adapted to Turkish by Akdoğan and the Scale to Determine the Realization Level of the Learning Organization Disciplines in the Organization developed by Türkoğlu were used in the study. The responses of the participants to the questionnaire were digitized and the values of the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were analyzed. Independent t-test was used to determine differences between scores on the variables, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis was used to determine the relationship between the scores obtained from the scales and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis techniques were used to determine the relationship between the school managers' leadership styles and the levels of becoming a learning organization of the schools.
