The attribution of biological sex and age are important aspects in forensic medicine investigations in establishing the identity of unknown skeletal remains. Where remains are incomplete or have been compromised by damage or fragmentation, this can affect the accuracy to which sex and age can be determined and require the development of other tecniques using different bone elements or isolateed bone elements. The objective of the paper was to conduct a descriptive and inferential analysis on certain parameters studied on the lumbar spine with implication in estimating sex and age. The present study used 149 images of magnetic resonance of the vertebral lumbar column, on which the authors perfomed a large-scale analysis of three parameters measured on the RM images from a modern Romanian population. The results of the study found that mostly all variables analysed are involved in evaluation of sexual dismorphism. Regarding age prediction, in this study we conclude that some analyzed parameters are important in providing significant age differences. The present work is a novelty in the field and brings more originality, as it took into account all 5 lumbar vertebrae. The lumbar vertebrae can reliably providing an additional element to the growing list of postcranial skeletal elements that can aid in developing the biological profile of unidentified human remains. Squamous cell carcinoma linked to UV radiation exposure may present a favorable evolution if diagnosed early and appropriately approached. Aimes: The purpose of this paper is to highlight the role of Cemiplimab as a unique treatment in squamous cell carcinoma. Discussion: Recent studies demonstrate promising results of immunotherapy in squamous cell carcinoma, both as a treatment in advanced locoregional and metastatic disease Conclusion: Remission can be obtained after immunotherapy even in older patients and advanced disease stages. The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the radiological and ultrasound of patients with hand pain, identify the lesions and staging the specific changes in rheumatoid arthritis at different stages of development, comparative assessment of imaging methods, correct assessment of the method for establishing a correct and early diagnosis. Breast cancer is a malignancy with a very high frequency in women, having several forms, the most common being followed by lobular carcinoma ductal carcinoma. The research team made and administered questionnaires with questions and suggested answers that covered various issues: status of health insurance, history of cancer in their families, the frequency of selfexamination breast, guiding self-examination of the breasts, frequency of performing ultrasound and mammography, sources of information concerning the prevention and the treatment of breast cancer, causes of breast cancer, reliability of oncologic system in Romania, the assessment of their health status. It was noticed that both healthy women and those diagnosed with breast cancer have confidence or trust in the medical oncology in Romania because it was observed that many patients with breast cancer were monitored and controlled by system oncology at long period of time. The study aims to analyze the incidence of various thyroid lesions and highlight the role of ultrasound detection in exploration, classification and monitoring of this lesion. The study is retrospective, with the examination in the study of 105 patients with thyroid ultrasound in the Polyclinic Medical Imaging Department Medlife PDR Brasov for a period of one year (1.01.2013-1.01.2014). Data were collected from thyroid ultrasound examination bulletins database of PDR Medlife Brasov and statistically analyzed by SPSS 11.0 and Microsoft Excel 2010. Patients were examined on a Siemens ultrasound 2000 2D, an elastography and in Power Doppler. Thyroid nodules are more common in women and in the age groups 30-39 years and 50-59 years (regardless of the node). The most common ones are relatively equal proportions, the cystic and solid forms, rarest the thyroidian nodules with mixt structure. Most thyroid nodules are infracentimetrical, solid, heterogeneous hypoecogenous and vascular perilesional in Power Doppler. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper aims to study how to monitor normal and pathological breast mammography following: regularity that made control of mammography, the age at which patients have the latest mammogram performed, criteria to be classified Bi-rads score, monitoring of breast lesions on mammograms successive and correlation of Bi-rads score with recommendations after mammography. Our study made use of mammography as a simple, reproductible, with low radiation and useful for comparative monitoring. Monitoring by mammography, ultrasound and its combination, depending on patients' age, history, breast density, hormone replacement therapies and associated Birads score of lesions present.
