This dispersion is marked by the variety of matrices that constitute psychological knowledge, which support its own methodologies and epistemologies. Considering the plurality of views about man and the world encompassed by Psychology, is it possible to define an object of study that is intelligible to the singularities of a science that seeks to produce rigorous knowledge? The purpose of this work was to discuss how the processes of subjectivation occupy this place of object of study of psychological science. To weave the thread of this proposition, the objectives of this work were: to understand the subject-object dialectic in scientific and philosophical thought from Antiquity in the West; to investigate the change of paradigms in the structure of the revolutions of scientific thought; to analyze how the processes of subjectivation relate to and enable the scientific-philosophical traditions in Psychology. This work was configured as a theoretical study that, over three chapters and the proposed objectives, sought to demonstrate that although Psychology is a methodologically and epistemologically diffuse science, the plurality in the production of knowledge in this science has as a condition of possibility the processes of subjectivation. human beings, preserving the multiplicity that is a constituent of Psychology while it demarcates a scope of scientificity to it. A Psicologia é um campo do conhecimento que apresenta uma dispersão teórica desde seu estabelecimento como ciência formal no final do século 19. Essa dispersão é marcada pela variedade de matrizes que constituem o saber psicológico, que sustentam metodologias e epistemologias próprias. Considerando a pluralidade de visões sobre homem e mundo abarcados pela Psicologia, é possível definir um objeto de estudo inteligível às singularidades de uma ciência que busca produzir conhecimento de rigor? A proposta desse trabalho foi discutir como os processos de subjetivação ocupam esse lugar de objeto de estudo da ciência psicológica. Para tecer o fio condutor dessa proposição, os objetivos desse trabalho foram: compreender a dialética sujeito-objeto no pensamento científico e filosófico a partir da Antiguidade no ocidente; investigar a mudança dos paradigmas na estrutura das revoluções do pensamento científico; analisar como os processos de subjetivação se relacionam e possibilitam as tradições científico-filosóficas na Psicologia. Esse trabalho se configurou como um estudo teórico que ao longo de três capítulos e dos objetivos propostos, buscou demonstrar que apesar da Psicologia ser uma ciência difusa metodológica e epistemologicamente, a pluralidade na produção de conhecimento nessa ciência tem como condição de possibilidade os processos de subjetivação humanos, preservando a multiplicidade que é constituinte da Psicologia ao mesmo tempo que demarca um escopo de cientificidade à mesma.
