Properties of the all-arround looking antenna executed on a basis of radiators in the form of linearly expanding slot lines placed on two coaxially located disks displaced azimuthal on a corner are described. The antenna works in the frequency range of (812)GHz, is intended for forming of the directional radiation providing the circular or sector scan.

Features of radiation patterns of antennas on the basis of planar symmetric slot lines of constant width at a frequency of 10 GHz, in the E and H planes in case of change of their length and width were studied. The comparative analysis of mathematical modeling results and results of an experiment has shown that at increase of a regular slot width within 0,5 to 1,5 or 1,5 sm to 4,5 sm, the level of half power beam width of the main lobe in the E plane was narrowed, while it remained almost invariable in the H plane.

Characteristics of flat symmetric antenna of axial radiation 150 mm long with linearly extending aperture for angels of the aperture 30˚, 60˚ and 90˚ were studied. Thus directional diagram of antennas have been theoretically calculated, experimentally measured and analyzed, is revealed that characteristics of experimentally measured directional diagram well will be agreed with the developed mathematical models in the range of the frequencies of 5,9-12,5 GHz. On the obtained experimental data dependence of coefficient of the directed operation of the studied antennas on an angel of a aperture is revealed.

Characteristics of symmetric planar slot antennas of axial radiation, the size of which is comparable with the radiation wavelength ( = 30 mm) having a linearly extending opening was studied. The same directional diagram investigated antennas have been theoretically calculated, experimentally measured and analyzed for Aperture angle of 30, 60, 90 and 120. Experimentally measured directional diagram of the antennas (at frequencies of 10 GHz) are in good agreement with the developed mathematical models.

Mathematical models for plane symmetric antennas microwave range with linearly extending aperture, allowing to calculate their direction characteristics depending on an aperture configuration are received. Experimentally direction characteristics for similar antennas are measured (in the range of 5,912,5 GHz), good compliance of estimated and experimental results is set. Regularities of influence of a configuration of an aperture of researched antennas on the form of the principal lobe of their direction characteristics that is essentially important for optimization of electrodynamic characteristics of antenna grids on their basis are revealed.
