Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of rehabilitation of high-class athletes under the influence of a complex of physical factors. Material and methods: the data of the dynamic state of 75 high-class athletes who train mainly for the development of the qualities of dexterity, speed and strength during rehabilitation and rehabilitation measures were analyzed. To control the complex impact of physical factors, along with functional research methods, a digital pain rating scale (NRS) was used. Results. After the influence of physical factors, a significant improvement in the physical and psycho-emotional state of patients was noted. The athletes were able to return to full-fledged training. Conclusion. The rehabilitation effect of physical factors under the objective control of subjective assessments of individual pain sensitivity makes it possible to effectively control the functional state of athletes. Цель: анализ эффективности реабилитационных мероприятий в спорте высших достижений при комплексном подходе в условиях специализированных физиотерапевтических воздействий. Материал и методы: анализировались данные динамического состояния 75 спортсменов высокого класса, тренирующихся преимущественно на развитие качеств ловкости, быстроты и силы, в ходе реабилитационно-восстановительных мероприятий. Для контроля комплексного воздействия физических факторов наряду с функциональными методами исследования использовалась цифровая рейтинговая шкала боли (Numeric rating scale for pain - NRS). Результаты. В результате воздействия физических факторов отмечено значительное улучшение физического и психоэмоционального состояния пациентов. Спортсмены смогли вернуться к полноценным тренировкам. Заключение. Реабилитационное воздействие физических факторов под объективным контролем субъективных оценок индивидуальной болевой чувствительности позволяет эффективно контролировать функциональное состояние спортсменов.

The article provides data from studies conducted on the basis of the Saratov State Medical University on the prevention of respiratory diseases using physiotherapy and exercise therapy. In the course of the measures taken, a decrease in the incidence rate among children of this group was noted.

The incidence rate of thyroid cancer is increasing, especially among young and middle-aged people. In most cases a malignant tumor can be diagnosed at the background of multinodular goiter. Differential diagnosis of malignant and benign tumors of the thyroid presents considerable difficulties. In this situation the decision on the extent of the surgical intervention seems to be important. In the article there are described features of the diagnosis and the choice of the surgical intervention for thyroid cancer associated with multinodular goiter. The morphological examination is the decisive method of diagnosis. The decision on the extent of the operative measure should be both individualized for each particular patient and proceed from the principles of oncological radicalism and functional effect.

It was found via the mathematical simulation of the effect of fibroblasts on the electrical activity of the sinoatrial node cells that the interaction with fibroblasts through gap junctions increases the oscillation frequency of pacemakers. Under the effect of fibroblasts, the oscillation amplitude of a true pacemaker decreases until the end of the spontaneous activity. The oscillation amplitude of a latent pacemaker decreases considerably less.

Computer simulation of the electrical activity in sinoatrial node cells interacting via gap junctions with fibroblasts revealed that interaction with fibroblasts results in greater oscillation frequency of sinoatrial node cells. We have found out that fibroblasts also decrease the oscillation amplitude of the intrinsic central cells or completely suppress their spontaneous activity, while weakly affect the oscillation amplitude of peripheral cells.

The work deals with the features of the course of gastric and duodenal ulcers in diabetes mellitus and the frequency and pattern of the complications. The authors recommend criteria for preparation for surgical treatment, methods for compensation of the disturbances of carbohydrate metabolism, and the methods of postoperative management of such patients. The late-term results and analysis of treatment are discussed briefly. The coexistence of peptic ulcer and diabetes mellitus is a rare occurrence. During a 20-year period 31 patients were treated at the clinic, 21 of them underwent operation, in 5 patients an operation was considered inexpedient, another 5 patients refused to be operated on. The postoperative period was free of complications in 19 patients, there were no fatal outcomes.

The results of 96 simultaneous operations for peptic ulcer are discussed. The indications for their performance are substantiated and the principles of their conduction in various diseases aggravating one another are determined. The low incidence of postoperative complications (4.2%) and lethality (1.04%) are evidence of the expediency of the suggested tactics.
