Abstract

An experiment addressing electron capture (EC) decay of hydrogen-like Pm60+142 ions has been conducted at the experimental storage ring (ESR) at GSI. The decay appears to be purely exponential and no modulations were observed. Decay times for about 9000 individual EC decays have been measured by applying the single-ion decay spectroscopy method. Both visually and automatically analysed data can be described by a single exponential decay with decay constants of 0.0126(7)s−1 for automatic analysis and 0.0141(7)s−1 for manual analysis. If a modulation superimposed on the exponential decay curve is assumed, the best fit gives a modulation amplitude of merely 0.019(15), which is compatible with zero and by 4.9 standard deviations smaller than in the original observation which had an amplitude of 0.23(4). Abstract

Beam lifetimes of stored U^{28+} ions with kinetic energies of 30 and 50 MeV/u, respectively, were measured in the experimental storage ring of the GSI accelerator facility. By using the internal gas target station of the experimental storage ring, it was possible to obtain total projectile electron loss cross sections for collisions with several gaseous targets ranging from hydrogen to krypton from the beam lifetime data. The resulting experimental cross sections are compared to predictions by two theoretical approaches, namely the CTMC method and a combination of the DEPOSIT code and the RICODE program.

Abstract

Beam lifetimes of stored U^{28+} ions with energies between 10 and 180 MeV/u were measured in the heavy ion synchrotron SIS18 and in the experimental storage ring (ESR) of the GSI accelerator facility. By using the internal gas jet target of the ESR, it was possible to obtain projectile ionization cross sections for collisions with H_{2} and N_{2} from the lifetime data. The experimental cross sections are compared to theoretical data predicted by the n-body classical-trajectory Monte Carlo (CTMC) method of Olson et al. and to calculations of Shevelko et al. using the LOSS-R code. In addition, both theoretical approaches are probed by using the resulting cross sections as input parameters for the STRAHLSIM code, which models the beam losses and, consequently, the lifetimes in the heavy ion synchrotron SIS18. Both the cross section measurement and the SIS18 lifetime study indicate that the LOSS-R code cross sections are in better agreement with the experimental results than the n-body CTMC calculations.

Abstract

Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is one of the most common disorders of hips in children. The deformity can remain asymptomatic into adolescence and adulthood; however, it is considered to be a form of prearthritis and is the main cause of premature osteoarthritis of the hip. The deformity affects the acetabulum but can also be accompanied by changes in the shape of the proximal femur. If conservative treatment for mild DDH is insufficient, or in cases of moderate to severe DDH, operative treatment should be carried out, for example by corrective osteotomy of the pelvis and/or the proximal femur and hip arthroscopy may be considered adjunctively in order to resolve the prearthritis and prevent premature osteoarthritis of the hip. This manuscript elucidates the deformity, the diagnostic measures required to make the diagnosis and the treatment options available for prevention of arthritis.Die Hüftdysplasie ist eine der häufigsten Erkrankungen der Hüfte im Kindesalter. Oft bleibt die Fehlstellung asymptomatisch bis ins Erwachsenenalter, jedoch gilt sie als Präarthrose und stellt einen der Hauptgründe für eine vorzeitige Koxarthrose dar. Die Deformität betrifft das Acetabulum, kann jedoch auch mit Formveränderungen am proximalen Femur einhergehen. Reicht die konservative Therapie bei milder Dysplasie nicht aus oder besteht eine mittelschwere bis schwere Dysplasie, sollte ggf. eine operative Therapie beispielsweise durch Umstellungen am Becken und/oder am Femur sowie ggf. zusätzlich durch Hüftgelenkarthroskopie erfolgen, um die Präarthrose zu beseitigen und eine vorzeitige Koxarthrose zu verhindern. Im Rahmen dieses Manuskripts werden die Deformität, die notwendige Diagnostik zur Diagnosestellung und die Behandlungen zur Verhinderung einer Arthrose erläutert.

Beim Klumpfus handelt es sich um die haufigste behandlungsbedurftige kinderorthopadische Deformitat. Obwohl der klinische Eindruck v. a. bei Geburt meist sehr eindrucklich ist, ist die Erkrankung in der Mehrzahl der Falle gut zu behandeln. Dieser Beitrag bietet eine Ubersicht uber Diagnostik, Klassifikation, Pathoanatomie und Therapie des Klumpfuses. Auserdem wird auf Alternativen zur heutzutage weit verbreiteten Ponseti-Therapie sowie auf die Beratung von Eltern mit betroffenen Kindern eingegangen.

Abstract

Experimental determination of the cross sections of proton capture on radioactive nuclei is extremely difficult. Therefore, it is of substantial interest for the understanding of the production of the p-nuclei. For the first time, a direct measurement of proton-capture cross sections on stored, radioactive ions became possible in an energy range of interest for nuclear astrophysics. The experiment was performed at the Experimental Storage Ring (ESR) at GSI by making use of a sensitive method to measure (p,γ) and (p,n) reactions in inverse kinematics. These reaction channels are of high relevance for the nucleosyn-thesis processes in supernovae, which are among the most violent explosions in the universe and are not yet well understood. The cross section of the 118Te(p,γ) reaction has been measured at energies of 6 MeV/u and 7 MeV/u. The heavy ions interacted with a hydrogen gas jet target. The radiative recombination process of the fully stripped 118Te ions and electrons from the hydrogen target was used as a luminosity monitor. An overview of the experimental method and preliminary results from the ongoing analysis will be presented.

Abstract

Accurate spectroscopy of highly-charged high- Z ions in a storage ring is demonstrated to be feasible by the use of specially adapted crystal optics. The method has been applied for the measurement of the 1 s Lamb shift in hydrogen-like gold (Au ^+78 ) in a storage ring through spectroscopy of the Lyman x-rays. This measurement represents the first result obtained for a high- Z element using high-resolution wavelength-dispersive spectroscopy in the hard x-ray regime, paving the way for sensitivity to higher-order QED effects.

Abstract

The electron capture process was studied for Xe$^{54+}$ colliding with H$_2$ molecules at the internal gas target of the ESR storage ring at GSI, Darmstadt. Cross section values for electron capture into excited projectile states were deduced from the observed emission cross section of Lyman radiation, being emitted by the hydrogen-like ions subsequent to the capture of a target electron. The ion beam energy range was varied between 5.5 MeV/u and 30.9 MeV/u by applying the deceleration mode of the ESR. Thus, electron capture data was recorded at the intermediate and in particular the low collision energy regime, well below the beam energy necessary to produce bare xenon ions. The obtained data is found to be in reasonable qualitative agreement with theoretical approaches, while a commonly applied empirical formula significantly overestimates the experimental findings.

Abstract

Schmerzsymptome im Bereich des Fuses sind bei langjahrig bestehenden kongenitalen, erworbenen oder posttraumatischen Fusdeformitaten ein klinisch relevantes Problem. Anhand des klinischen Befunds und der orthopadischen Fragestellung werden zunachst Rontgenaufnahmen des Fuses im Stehen in 2 Ebenen, erganzt durch eine anterior-posteriore Aufnahme des oberen Sprunggelenks durchgefuhrt. Die bildgebende Diagnostik des Fuses basiert auf der konventionellen Rontgendiagnostik und wird durch die Moglichkeit schnittbildgebender Verfahren noch praziser und differenzierter. Die diagnostische Aussagekraft bildgebender Verfahren wird anhand klinischer Beispiele in dieser Ubersicht diskutiert. Dabei konnen schnittbildgebende Verfahren dem Kliniker als weitere Entscheidungshilfe dienen und Fragen klaren, ob eine operative Therapieoption wie beispielsweise bei degenerativen Veranderungen besteht. Primar sind vor jedem bildgebenden Verfahren die adaquate Anamnese, Inspektion, klinische Untersuchung und die Begutachtung des Gangbilds bei Patienten mit Fusschmerzen erforderlich. Die interdisziplinare Kommunikation zwischen Orthopaden/Unfallchirurgen und Radiologen ist notwendig, um bei schwierigen Fragestellungen das passende bildgebende Verfahren auszuwahlen und den resultierenden Bildbefund korrekt einzuordnen, um daraus eine therapeutische Konsequenz abzuleiten. Die Entscheidung, ob eine konservative Therapie oder ein operatives Verfahren empfohlen wird, wird in Abhangigkeit bisheriger Therapien und der Einschrankung der Lebensqualitat gemeinsam mit dem Patienten getroffen.

Abstract

Torticollis is a common neck deformity in both newborn and older children. The various causes of the abnormal posturing of the head differ in severity, long-term consequences and their treatment.This article gives an overview of the differential diagnoses of torticollis in children and current literature, and provides insight into our diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm.A distinction is drawn between congenital and acquired deformities and whether or not they are painful. Most commonly, children present with a congenital muscular torticollis, which has an estimated incidence of 0.3 to 1.9%. The main differential diagnosis of congenital muscular torticollis is Klippel-Feil syndrome. Acquired torticollis often has more severe causes and always needs a thorough diagnostic clarification.The knowledge of possible causes and their treatment is essential to provide adequate care for affected children and their families and to prevent long-term consequences.

Abstract

We report an analysis of electron-optical properties of a toroidal magnetic sector spectrometer and examine parameters for its implementation in a relativistic heavy-ion storage ring like HESR. For studies of free-free pair production in heavy-ion atom collisions this spectrometer exhibits very high efficiencies for coincident $e^+e^-$ pair spectroscopy over a wide range of momenta of emitted lepton pairs. The high coincidence efficiency of the spectrometer is the key for stringent tests of theoretical predictions for the coincident positron- and electron- emission characteristics and for the phase space correlation of lepton vector momenta in free-free pair production., Comment: 64 pages

Abstract

We have studied the K-shell excitation of He-like uranium (U90+) in relativistic collisions with hydrogen and argon atoms. Performing measurements with different targets, as well as with different collision energies, enabled us to explore the proton- (nucleus-) impact excitation as well as the electron-impact excitation process for the heaviest He-like ion. The large fine-structure splitting in uranium allowed us to partially resolve excitation into different L-shell levels. State-of-the-art relativistic calculations which include excitation mechanisms due to the interaction with both protons (nucleus) and electrons are in good agreement with the experimental findings. Moreover, our experimental data clearly demonstrate the importance of including the generalized Breit interaction in the treatment of the electron-impact excitation process. Abstract

Non-perturbative calculations of the relativistic quantum dynamics of electrons in the Bi83+-Xe collisions at 70 AMeV are performed. A method of calculation employs an independent particle model with effective single-electron Dirac-Kohn-Sham operator. Solving of the single-electron equations is based on the coupled-channel approach with atomic-like Dirac-Sturm-Fock orbitals, localized at the ions (atoms). Special attention is paid to the inner-shell processes. Intensities of the K satellite and hypersatellite target radiation are evaluated. The role of the relativistic effects is studied.

Abstract

Synopsis We discuss the electron-optical properties of a toroidal magnetic sector spectrometer and its suitablilty for electron-positron pair spectroscopy in relativistic ion-atom collisions in the future HESR storage ring at FAIR. With the simultaneous mapping of electrons and positrons and geometric invariants in the lepton trajectorties this instrument offers a very high efficiency for studies of vector momentum correlation in free-free pair production.

Abstract

Adequately developed fundamental movement skills, particularly object control dimensions, are considered essential to learn more complex movement patterns and to increase the likelihood to successfully participate in organized and non-organized sports during later years. Thus, the present randomized controlled trial aimed at improving object control dimensions at an early state in a kindergarten setting.; Catching, throwing, kicking, rolling and stationary dribbling were assessed via gross motor development 2 (TGMD-2) testing in 41 normally developed preschoolers. On a cluster-randomized basis [strata: age, sex and body mass index (BMI)], three kindergartens were randomly assigned to an intervention group (n = 22, INT, age: 4.6 ± 1.0 years; BMI: 16.2 ± 1.1 kg/m(2) ) and three to a control group (n = 19, CON: age: 4.5 ± 1.2 years; BMI: 16.8 ± 1.2 kg/m(2) ). Twelve structured training sessions were given within 6 weeks (12 sessions). The total training volume was 330 min.; Moderate time × group interaction were observed for the total sum score (Δ+22%, P = 0.05) and dribbling (Δ+41%, P = 0.002). Adjusting for baseline differences analyses of covariance did not affect these results. Interestingly, likely to most likely practically worthwhile effects were detected for the total sum score, catching and dribbling.; Object control dimensions such as dribbling and catching that apparently rely on rhythmical movement patterns and anticipatory eye-hand coordination seem to benefit from short-term object control training. These skills are considered important for successful team-sport participation and appropriate sportive motor development.

Abstract

International audience; In this work, we present a pilot experiment in the experimental storage ring (ESR) at GSI devoted to impact parameter sensitive studies of inner shell atomic processes for low-energy (heavy-) ion-atom collisions. The experiment was performed with bare and He-like xenon ions (Xe 54+ , Xe 52+ ) colliding with neutral xenon gas atoms, resulting in a symmetric collision system. This choice of the projectile charge states was made in order to compare the effect of a filled K-shell with the empty one. The projectile and target X-rays have been measured at different observation angles for all impact parameters as well as for the impact parameter range of ∼35–70 fm.

Abstract

The exploration of the unique properties of stored and cooled beams of highly-charged ions as provided by heavy-ion storage rings has opened novel and fascinating research opportunities in the realm of atomic and nuclear physics research. Since the late 1980s, pioneering work has been performed at the CRYRING at Stockholm (Abrahamsson et al. 1993) and at the Test Storage Ring (TSR) at Heidelberg (Baumann et al. 1988). For the heaviest ions in the highest charge-states, a real quantum jump was achieved in the early 1990s by the commissioning of the Experimental Storage Ring (ESR) at GSI Helmholtzzentrum fur Schwerionenforschung (GSI) in Darmstadt (Franzke 1987) where challenging experiments on the electron dynamics in the strong field regime as well as nuclear physics studies on exotic nuclei and at the borderline to atomic physics were performed. Meanwhile also at Lanzhou a heavy-ion storage ring has been taken in operation, exploiting the unique research opportunities in particular for medium-heavy ions and exotic nuclei (Xia et al. 2002).

Abstract

The process of electron-loss to the continuum (ELC) has been studied for the collision systems ${\mathrm{U}}^{28+}+{\mathrm{H}}_{2}$ at a collision energy of 50 MeV/u, ${\mathrm{U}}^{28+}+{\mathrm{N}}_{2}$ at 30 MeV/u, and ${\mathrm{U}}^{28+}+\mathrm{Xe}$ at 50 MeV/u. The energy distributions of cusp electrons emitted at an angle of ${0}^{\ensuremath{\circ}}$ with respect to the projectile beam were measured using a magnetic forward-angle electron spectrometer. For these collision systems far from equilibrium charge state, a significantly asymmetric cusp shape is observed. The experimental results are compared to calculations based on first-order perturbation theory, which predict an almost symmetric cusp shape. Some possible reasons for this discrepancy are discussed.

Abstract

We present measurements of the energy loss of relativistic highly charged uranium ions interacting with a target beam of near-liquid density hydrogen droplets at the experimental storage ring (ESR) at GSI. Our results reveal that a liquid droplet target beam virtually behaves like a homogeneous gas jet target with respect to both energy loss and ion beam cooling. We also provide first results on ion beam cooling efficiency at high hydrogen area target densities, which are consistent with numerical estimations based on a simple model of the cooling force.

Abstract

The population of magnetic sublevels in hydrogen-like uranium ions has been investigated in relativistic ion–atom collisions by observing the subsequent X-ray emission. Using the gas target at the experimental storage ring facility we observed the angular emission of Lyman-α radiation from hydrogen-like uranium ions. The alignment parameter for three different interaction energies was measured and found to agree well with theory. In addition, the use of different gas targets allowed for the electron-impact excitation process to be observed.

Abstract

International audience; The two-photon 2E1 transition from the singlet 2s state of heliumlike tin was measured. An alternative experimental approach was adopted in the present investigation where the two-photon emission results from the decay of the 2s state by selective K-shell ionization of Li-like tin ions in relativistic collisions with a low-Z gaseous target, which allowed for a measurement of the undistorted two-photon spectral shape. The measured 2E1 energy distribution was compared with fully relativistic calculations, which predict a Z dependence of the distribution. The preliminary results indicate the best agreement with the relativistic many body calculations for tin, and thus confirm the sensitivity on Z. Detailed data analysis is still in progress.

Abstract

We report the results of the x-ray radiative recombination (RR) experiment at the electron cooler of the ESR storage ring performed, for the first time, for detuned (off-cooling) electron energies. In this experiment the recombination of stored, decelerated bare uranium ions with electrons in the energy range 0–1000 meV was studied by observing K-RR x-ray photons emitted from direct radiative recombination to the lowest n=1 state. In this way the RR process was studied in a state selective manner for several off-cooling electron energies. The measured dependency of the recombination rate on the relative electron energies for K-shell RR x-ray photons are compared with the predictions of both nonrelativistic and fully relativistic calculations for the radiative recombination. A role of the relativistic effects, which contribute substantially for higher relative electron energies, are discussed. Strong enhancement of the recombination rate is observed for the the zero relative electron energy (cooling condition) for the K-shell.

Abstract

Lifetimes for 10–50 MeV/u U28+ ions were measured for base vacuum conditions in the ESR storage ring at GSI-Darmstadt. The lifetimes are due to total electron loss from U28+ resulting from interactions with background gases in the ring. Lifetimes were also measured for interactions with H2 and N2 targets. These data provide information about the relative magnitudes and energy dependences of the stripping cross-sections resulting from interactions with H2 and N2, gases which represent the primary constituents in high and ultra-high vacuum environments.

Abstract

Storage rings as the ESR and the future NESR in the FAIR project are unique tools to study the dynamics of electron-ion and ion-atom collisions in the realm of strong perturbations and short interaction times. A telling sign of the character of such collisions are the electrons emitted into the continuum. For high Z projectiles and low Z targets the projectile centred continuum is dominating. Precision studies of these electrons emitted in relativistic collisions thus are of paramount importance for an understanding of the ionization mechanisms active in transferring electrons into the continua. Forward electron spectroscopy thus appears to be the tool of choice. For high precision studies in collision spectroscopy of high Z projectiles we have implemented an imaging forward electron spectrometer into the ESR supersonic jet target zone. In combination with a reaction microscope to be implemented next this enables investigations of several fundamental processes ranging from kinematically complete studies of multiple ionization and (e, 2e) on ions to radiative and non-radiative electron transfer processes to the projectile continuum and for the first time kinematically complete measurements of the short-wavelength limit of the electron nucleus Bremsstrahlung. We report first results.

Abstract

The key features of the future international accelerator Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) offer a range of new and challenging opportunities for atomic physics research in the realm of highly-charged heavy ions and exotic nuclei. Centred on use of FAIR, the Stored Particle Atomic Physics Research Collaboration (SPARC), organized in working groups, has been formed. A short report on the tasks and activities of the various SPARC working groups, devoted to the realization of experimental equipments and set-ups required to reach the physics goals is given.

Abstract

Insulating (MYLAR), semi-insulating (MYLAR-Au) and conducting foils have been bombarded by very energetic 64 MeV u−1 78Kr32+ ions. The velocity spectra of fast electrons emitted in the backward and forward directions have been measured and analyzed as a function of the elapsed time in the run. A shift of binary encounter and convoy electrons emitted in the forward direction toward lower velocities has been observed with insulating targets. No such shift occurs with metallic targets. The surface potential evolves with time (i.e. ion fluence) both at forward and backward emission angle. It is shown that strong bulk charging of insulating targets leads to a positive potential as high as 9 kV before charge breakdown.

Highly energetic projectiles (20 MeV/u E beam v beam (the ion beam velocity) and 2 v beam . Results obtained both at the Catania LNS superconducting cyclotron CS with 58 Ni 14+,19+ (23 and 45 MeV/u) and at Ganil with 78 Kr 32+,34+ (64 MeV/u) are presented. Absolute emission cross-sections and kinematic properties are discussed.

Abstract

We report on an experiment aiming for a study of the radiative decay modes of the 1s(2s)2 level in Li-like uranium. The experiment was performed of initially Be-like uranium colliding with N2 molecules at an energy of 90 MeV/u. By measuring the x-ray production associated with K-shell ionization of the projectile, a high selectivity for the production of the 1s(2s)2 level is observed.

Abstract

We have investigated the relation of forward emission cusp electron spectra and bremsstrahlung for 90AMeV U88+ + N2at the internal supersonic gas jet target of the ESR storage ring of GSI. We find that x ray photons measured in coincidence with cusp electrons originate from the short wavelength limit of the electron nucleus bremsstrahlung.

Abstract

Radiative processes occurring in collision of decelerated bare uranium ions and molecular hydrogen are studied at the heavy-ion storage ring ESR. The combination of the deceleration technique and the narrow Compton profile of molecular hydrogen allowed us to resolve a multitude of REC transitions into the bound states of the projectile and to resolve unambiguously the tip region of primary bremsstahlung. For this purpose, a supersonic molecular hydrogen jet-target, precooled with liquid nitrogen and optimized for long-term stability, was applied.

Abstract

In this contribution, we present an experimental study carried out at GSI Darmstadt devoted to investigation of quantum electrodynamical (QED) effects for the ground states in hydrogen- and helium-like uranium. In the experiment, X-ray spectra following radiative recombination of free electrons with bare and H-like uranium ions (U92+, U91+) were measured at the electron cooler of the ESR storage ring. Utilizing clean and favorable experimental conditions present at the electron cooler, we were able to obtain very accurate values for the ground-state binding energies from the observed X-ray transitions. When compared with theory, our results provide the most stringent test of bound-state QED for one- and two-electron systems in the strong-field regime.

Abstract

The x-ray spectra produced in collisions of 98 MeV/u Li-like uranium ions with N2 molecules have been studied. By measuring the decay photons associated with the capture process, experimental information for the formation of the excited [1s22s2p3/2]1P1 and [1s22s2p3/2]3P2 states in Be-like uranium has been obtained. It was found that relative probability for production of the P-states is close to statistical population law 2J + 1.

Abstract

The collision system U88+ + N2 at a low-relativistic projectile energy of 90 MeV/u has been analyzed experimentally and theoretically with respect to fast electrons emitted with a velocity ve close to the projectile velocity, vp ≈ ve, at an observation angle of e ≈ 0°, i.e., in the direction of the projectile beam. Three distinct processes are identified, where each of the underlying charge-transfer mechanisms leads to a characteristic feature in the asymmetry of the observed electron energy distribution. The experimental results for each of the three processes are compared to the corresponding theoretical models.

Abstract

International audience; In this contribution, we present an experimental and theoretical study of the proton- and electron- impact excitation effects in helium-like uranium ions in relativistic collisions with different gaseous targets. The experiment was carried out at the experimental storage ring at GSI Darmstadt. Our experimental results are in agreement with predictions of the state-of-the art theory which treats both processes within the relativistic framework.

Abstract

Highly charged radioactive ions can be stored for extended periods of time in storage rings which allows for precision measurements of their decay modes. The straightforward motivation for performing such studies is that fully ionised nuclei or few-electron ions can be viewed as clean quantum-mechanical systems, in which the interactions of the many electrons can be either excluded or treated precisely. Thus, the influence of the electron shell on the decay probability can be investigated. Another important motivation is stellar nucleosynthesis, which proceeds at high temperatures and the involved atoms are therefore highly ionised. Presented here is a compact review of the relevant experiments conducted at heavy-ion storage rings. Furthermore, we outline the perspectives for future experiments at new-generation storage-ring facilities.

Abstract

Beam lifetimes of stored ${\mathrm{U}}^{28+}$ ions with kinetic energies of 30 and $50\text{ }\mathrm{MeV}/\mathrm{u}$, respectively, were measured in the experimental storage ring of the GSI accelerator facility. By using the internal gas target station of the experimental storage ring, it was possible to obtain total projectile electron loss cross sections for collisions with several gaseous targets ranging from hydrogen to krypton from the beam lifetime data. The resulting experimental cross sections are compared to predictions by two theoretical approaches, namely the CTMC method and a combination of the DEPOSIT code and the RICODE program.

Abstract

For the collision system ${\text{U}}^{88+}+{\text{N}}_{2}$ at a collision energy of 90 MeV/u, the energy distribution of electrons being nonradiatively captured from the target into the projectile continuum has been measured under an angle of ${0}^{\ensuremath{\circ}}$ with respect to the projectile beam axis. This measurement of the electron-capture-to-continuum cusp with the highest effective projectile charge ${Z}_{p}^{\mathrm{eff}}=88$ at a near-relativistic collision velocity of $\ensuremath{\beta}\ensuremath{\approx}0.41$ is shown to be characterized by a strong asymmetry in the cusp shape. By comparing the data to measurements of the radiative-electron-capture-to-continuum cusp for the same collision system, the opposite asymmetry of the cusp is traced back to the varying underlying mechanisms. The experimental results are compared with the two theoretical calculations available for this process, one of them in the semirelativistic impulse approximation and the other in the nonrelativistic continuum-distorted-wave approach. A corresponding fully relativistic treatment may be motivated by the presented experimental data.
