Abstract

In this paper, we study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions with q-shift difference-differential polynomials F = [P(f)L(z, f)s](k) and G = [P(g)L(z, g)s](k), where P(z) is a non-constant polynomial with degree n sharing a finite value. Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a new notation of reduced linear shift operator Lrr(ϕ), and with the aid of this new operator, we study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions ϕ(z) and Lrr(ϕ) share ∞ CM in the extended complex plane. The results obtained in the paper significantly improve a existing result. Further, using the notion of sets, we deal the same problem. Abstract

Some fundamental terms in Nevanlinna's value distribution theory m(r, f), N(r, f), T(r, f), etc. and let f(z) and g(z) be two non-constant meomorphic functions, P(f) and P(g) be a polynomials of degree m, whose zeros and poles are of multiplicities atleast s, where s is a positive integer, and let n, k be two positive integers with s(n + m) > 9k + 14. If m ≥ 2 and ..., if m = 1 and ... and [gnP(g)](k) share 1(1, 0), then either [fnP(f)](k)[gnP(g)](k) = 1 or f(z) and g(z) satisfy the algebraic equation R(f, g) = 0, where .... Let f(z) and g(z) be two non-constant entire functions with satisfying inequality n > 5k + 6m + 7. The present paper deals with the study of uniqueness of certain differential polynomials with the notion of weighted sharing. The results of the paper improve and generalize the results of Rajeshwari S, Husna V and Nagarjun V [6]. Abstract

This study portray the influence of variable viscosity, thermocapillarity, nonlinear convection, variable thermal conductivity on the laminar flow and heat transfer in a liquid film on a horizontal stretching sheet. Time dependent flow equations are transformed to coupled ordinary equations by the assistance of similarity transformation. Numerical results are obtained via applying Runge-kutta and Newton’s methods. For some representative value of the parameters graphs are exhibited and surface skin friction coefficient and heat transfer are presented in tabular form. It is observed that non-linear convection case shows higher velocity and associated boundary layer thickness compared with linear convection. Elapsed time is more in nonlinear convection for growing values of A, δ, Pr and M compared to linear convection.
