Relevance. The engineering and technical service of an agricultural enterprise is a separate subdivision of the management system of the farm, consisting of engineering and technical personnel providing a regulated procedure for the implementation of measures aimed at maintaining the machine and tractor fleet in working condition and ensuring its high-performance operation.Methods. To solve the goal set in the work, studies were conducted in which various materials and methods were used: information and communication technologies, online platforms, a large amount of data was analyzed characterizing the possibilities of creating a recycling system in the agro-industrial complex of the Tambov region, based on the state of the machine-tractor fleet of the agro-industrial complex, its age characteristics and the capabilities of the enterprises of the engineering structure of the agro-industrial complex to carry out this kind of activity. The information received was processed using statistical analysis methods.Results. The actual problems are identified and new approaches to the modernization of the engineering service of the agro-industrial complex for the region are identified, taking into account the goals and objectives of the Government of the Russian Federation. Prospects for further development and optimization of the engineering and technical service of the region are proposed. The possibility of creating an engineering service of workshops (sites) for the collection, processing, monitoring and disposal of decommissioned equipment in the structure of existing repair and technical enterprises (RTP) is evaluated. The evidence base of the expediency of creating an additional production structure within the framework of the RTP for the collection, processing, monitoring and disposal of equipment is presented. As the analysis has shown, there is a clear need to improve the system of engineering enterprises in the field of MTP operation.

Background. Ischemic stroke is one of the most frequent causes of postoperative death in patients with thoracoabdominal malignant tumors. The role of molecular genetic factors of cardiovascular risk in the development of this complication in cancer patients has not yet been studied properly. The identification of genetic determinants of arterial thrombosis will allow predicting an increased risk of ischemic stroke and will create the possibility of pathogenetically justified prevention among carriers of genetic markers of thrombophilia.Aim. To compare the frequency of carriage of procoagulant mutations in the genes of the hemostasis system in cancer patients who have suffered an ischemic stroke and in cancer patients without concomitant cardiovascular diseases.Material and Methods. The non-randomized observational pilot research included 105 patients with thoracoabdominal tumors treated at the Thoracoabdominal Department of N. N. Blokhin National Research Center of Oncology during the period 2018–2019. The study group (n=24) consisted of patients with a history of ischemic stroke or perioperative stroke. The control group (n=81) included patients without concomitant cardiovascular diseases, including a family history. The real time polymerase chain reaction technique was used to determine the gene polymorphisms of blood coagulation.Results. We found a statistically significant difference in the frequency of carriage of the heterozygous variant (GA) mutation of the F2 gene (c2=6,881, p=0,009), homozygous mutation (TT) of the of the ITGA2 gene (c2=15,724, pTC) mutation of the ITGB3 gene (c2=3,861, p=0,05) as well as the general frequency of genetic aberrations in these genes between patients with thoracoabdominal malignant tumors, who had ischemic stroke and patients with thoracoabdominal malignant tumors without cardiovascular pathology.Conclusion. Based on the results of the genotyping of factors associated with a high thrombogenic risk, a statistically significant difference in the frequency of occurrence of polymorphisms of hemostasis system genes F2, ITGA2, ITGB3 was revealed between patients with thoracoabdominal malignant tumors, who had ischemic stroke and those without cardiovascular diseases. The role of the genetic factor in the development of ischemic stroke in cancer patients requires further study.

Background. Acute ischemic cerebral circulation disorder and myocardial infarction occupy one of the first places among the causes of postoperative mortality in patients with malignant tumors of thoracoabdominal localization. The issue of the role of molecular genetic factors of cardiovascular risk in the development of these complications has not been resolved at present.Objective. To analyze the effect of polymorphisms of hemostasis system genes on the development of coronary artery and cerebral artery thrombosis in patients with malignant tumors of thoracoabdominal localization.Materials and methods. The study included 163 patients operated in the Oncological Department of Surgical Methods of Treatment No. 11 (Thoracic Oncology) of the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology in 2018-2019. Two study groups consisted of patients with myocardial infarction (n = 62) and ischemic stroke (n = 24) in the perioperative period or in the anamnesis. The data of patients with a history of both myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke (n = 4) were taken into account in both groups. The control group (n = 81) included patients who had no severe concomitant cardiovascular pathology, including a family history. A molecular genetic study to determine polymorphisms of the genes of the hemostasis system was performed in the Laboratory of Clinical Oncogenetics of the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology using the reagents “Cardiogenetics of Thrombophilia” (DNA Technology LLC, Russia; RU No. FSR 2010/08414 dated 11/22/2016).Results. In patients with malignant tumors of thoracoabdominal localization who have suffered a myocardial infarction, in comparison with patients without cardiovascular pathology, a statistically significant difference in the frequency of carriage of homozygous variants of the genes FGB (χ2 = 8.18, p = 0.005), ITGA2 (χ2 = 9.48, p = 0.003), PAI-1 (χ2 = 4.45, p = 0.035), heterozygous forms of genes F5 (χ2 = 4.0, p = 0.046), ITGA2 (χ2 = 14.72, p 2 = 4.28, p = 0.039), as well as the total frequency of genetic aberrations in these genes. In the group of patients who suffered an ischemic stroke, a statistically significant difference was determined relative to the control group in the frequency of carriage of the heterozygous variant of the mutation in the F2 gene (χ2 = 6.881, p = 0.009), the homozygous form of the mutation of the ITGA2 gene (χ2 = 15.724, p 2 = 3.861, p = 0.05), as well as the total frequency of carrying mutations in these genes. The study did not obtain a significant difference in the studied and control groups with respect to the frequency of polymorphism carriers G/A of the F7 gene (coagulation factor VII) and G/T of the F13 gene (coagulation factor XIII) associated with a reduced risk of thrombotic conditions. In all patients who had a myocardial infarction, and in 91.7 % of cases, several procoagulant polymorphisms were noted in the genotype of patients who had an ischemic stroke; in the group of patients without cardiovascular diseases, this indicator was 53 %, the difference in the groups was statistically significant (χ2 = 39.61, p 2 = 11.685, p Conclusion. Based on the results of a molecular genetic study of factors associated with a high thrombogenic risk, a statistically significant difference in the frequency of occurrence of polymorphic markers F5 G1691A, FGB G(-455)A, ITGA2 C807T, ITGB3 T1565C, PAI-1 4G(-675)5G was revealed in patients with thoracoabdominal localization tumors who had suffered a myocardial infarction, and F2 G20210A, ITGA2 C807T, ITGB3 T1565C who had suffered an ischemic stroke, compared with cancer patients without concomitant cardiovascular pathology. The data of the conducted study make it possible to identify groups of oncological patients with increased risk of developing cardiovascular complications in the perioperative period and take additional measures to prevent thrombotic complications.

We consider first-order infinite-valued Łukasiewicz logic and its expansion, first-order rational Pavelka logic RPL∀. From the viewpoint of provability, we compare several Gentzen-type hypersequent calculi for these logics with each other and with Hájek’s Hilbert-type calculi for the same logics. To facilitate comparing previously known calculi for the logics, we define two new analytic calculi for RPL∀ and include them in our comparison. The key part of the comparison is a density elimination proof that introduces no cuts for one of the hypersequent calculi considered.

Despite an established link between depression and higher Alzheimer's disease (AD) risk, it is unclear whether the conditions share pathophysiology. Here, we investigated whether depression manifesting after age 50 is associated with a genetic predisposition to AD.From the population-based Health and Retirement Study cohort with biennial assessments of depressive symptoms and cognitive performance, we studied 6656 individuals of European ancestry with whole-genome genotyping. Polygenic risk scores (PRSs) for AD were estimated and examined for an association with depression in cognitively normal participants using regression modeling.Among cognitively normal participants, those with a higher AD PRS were more likely to experience depression after age 50 after accounting for the effects of genetic predisposition to depression, sex, age, and education.Genetic predisposition to AD may be one of the factors contributing to the pathogenesis of mid-life depression. Whether there is a shared genetic basis between mid-life depression and AD merits further study.

Ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration is an invasive intervention which is used for diagnosis of additional formations of the walls of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as focal pathologies beyond it. Many reports indicate high diagnostic effectiveness and safety of this method but with increasing number of aspirations endoscopists start to encounter rare complications of this manipulation. The article presents a description of a rare complication which arose during transesophageal fine-needle aspiration, as well as a correct algorithm of patient management in the post-manipulation period.Determination of the correct strategy of patient management led to favorable outcome of the complication and determination of the final clinical diagnosis.

The biological processes that are disrupted in the Alzheimer’s disease (AD) brain remain incompletely understood. We recently performed a proteomic analysis of >2000 brains to better understand these changes, which highlighted alterations in astrocytes and microglia as likely key drivers of disease. Here, we extend this analysis by analyzing >1000 brain tissues using a tandem mass tag mass spectrometry (TMT-MS) pipeline, which allowed us to nearly triple the number of quantified proteins across cases. A consensus protein co-expression network analysis of this deeper dataset revealed new co-expression modules that were highly preserved across cohorts and brain regions, and strongly altered in AD. Nearly half of the protein co-expression modules, including modules significantly altered in AD, were not observed in RNA networks from the same cohorts and brain regions, highlighting the proteopathic nature of AD. Two such AD-associated modules unique to the proteomic network included a module related to MAPK signaling and metabolism, and a module related to the matrisome. Analysis of paired genomic and proteomic data within subjects showed that expression level of the matrisome module was influenced by the APOE ε4 allele, but was not related to the rate of cognitive decline after adjustment for neuropathology. In contrast, the MAPK/metabolism module was strongly associated with the rate of cognitive decline. Disease-associated modules unique to the proteome are sources of promising therapeutic targets and biomarkers for AD.

We study the influence of media on the interaction of ultra-fine plasmonic nanoparticles (≤ 8 nm) with radiation. The important role of the surface layer of the nanoparticles, with properties that differ from the ones in the inner part, is established. Using an atomistic representation of the nanoparticle material and its interaction with light, we find a highly inhomogeneous distribution of the electric field inside and around the particles. It is predicted that with an increase in the refractive index of the ambient medium, the extension of the surface layer of atoms increases, something that also is accompanied by an enhanced red shift of the plasmon resonance band compared to large particles in which the influence of this layer and its relative volume is reduced. It is shown that the physical origin for the formation of a surface layer of atoms near the nanoparticle boundary is related to the anisotropy of the local environment of atoms in this layer which changes the conditions for the interaction of neighboring atoms with each other and with the incident radiation. It is shown that a growth of the refractive index of the ambient medium results in an increase in the local field in the dielectric cavity in which a plasmonic nanoparticle is embedded and which is accompanied by a growth of the amplitude of the plasmon resonance. We predict that in the ultra-fine regime the refractive index sensitivity shows a decreasing trend with respect to size which is opposite to that for larger particles. With the applied atomistic model this work demonstrates close relations between field distributions and properties of ultra-fine nanoparticles.

The paper is devoted to the analysis of the state of the equipment recycling system in Russia and the issues of improving the legislative framework that accompanies it. The role of state structures in solving the problems of forming a resource-saving ecooriented system for the disposal of decommissioned equipment is reflected. To analyze the work in the field of waste management, to reflect the state of the legislative framework for the existing system of recycling equipment in Russia and abroad, to make recommendations for its improvement. Problems with waste appear when, in the process of production and consumption of substances, objects (equipment), he/she becomes unnecessary for their owners, their owner tries to get rid of this object in the most accessible way. According to numerous information, the disposal of equipment in Russia is mainly carried out (black waste collectors), which control more than 60 % of the scrap of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, so the solution to the problem of creating an effective system for the disposal of equipment becomes not just relevant, but vital for our state. The scientific community in Russia is constantly conducting research on the creation and implementation of a system for the disposal of decommissioned equipment, so, for example, MADI scientists proposed a regional car recycling system for implementation, the scientists of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution FNAC VIM also developed a regional system for the disposal of agricultural recycling equipment. In order to quickly solve the problem of working out a general strategy for creating an effective system of recycling equipment in Russia, taking into account the revision of the legislative framework, it is advisable to "run-in" it at the industry level, for example, in the agroindustrial complex, with subsequent replication in other industries.

We consider thermo-optic hysteresis in a silicon structure supporting bound state in the continuum. Taking into account radiative heat transfer as a major cooling mechanism we constructed a non-linear model describing the optical response. It is shown that the thermo-optic hysteresis can be obtained with low intensities of incident light $I_0\approx 1~\rm{W/m^2}$ at the red edge of the visible under the critical coupling condition.

A focused in-house library of about 1000 compounds comprising various heterocyclic motifs in combination with structural fragments similar to β-phenethylamine (PEA) or tyramine was screened for the agonistic activity towards trace amine-associated receptor 1 (TAAR1). The screening yielded two closely related hits displaying EC50 values in the upper submicromolar range. Bioluminescence is a phenomenon of light emission resulting from oxidation of a substrate, luciferin, catalyzed by the enzyme luciferase. The fungus Neonothopanus nambi is the first eukaryotic organism with a fully deciphered bioluminescent system: the structure of luciferin was established, the luciferase gene was described, and intermediates and enzymes involved in the luciferin biosynthesis pathway were identified. One of the crucial reactions in this pathway is the formation of luciferin by hydroxylation of hispidin catalyzed by hispidin-3-hydroxylase (nnH3H). To fully understand the mechanism of action and substrate specificity of the enzyme, it is necessary to carry out structural studies of the molecule. To do that, it is necessary to develop a protocol for obtaining a highly purified and functionally active nnH3H in the appropriate quantities. We describe a robust approach to produce a soluble and enzymatically active nnH3H fused with SUMO and coexpressed with GroEL/ES chaperonin at low temperature in Escherichia coli. The yield of recombinant nnH3H achieved was 20 mg per 100 mL of bacterial culture. Additionally, we show for the first time that FAD is a cofactor of fungal hispidin-3-hydroxylase.

The repair industry in almost all countries has entered a critical period, characterized by the need to combine and use various strategies and technologies for maintenance and repair of new equipment, as well as equipment produced many years ago. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in analyzing the state of the repair and maintenance base of the agro-industrial complex and justifying the possibilities of its modernization using intelligent technologies. (Materials and methods) Authors used methods of generalizing data from various services of agro- industrial formations of individual regions, materials of scientific and technical literature and research developments, studied data on the practical use of modern resource-saving technologies by engineering services of the agro-industrial complex of the regions when carrying out repairs and service and technological services. (Results and discussion) The lack of information about the state of the repair and maintenance base makes it difficult to determine all the criteria associated with the transition of manufacturers to a contract of the entire life cycle. Obtaining information about the state of the repair and maintenance base of the agro-industrial complex is a very important stage that contributes to the modernization of this base and attracting not only the governments, but also agricultural machinery manufacturers to modernization. (Conclusions) The technological level of the enterprises of the repair and maintenance base of agriculture has significantly decreased in recent years, and this has affected the decline in technical readiness indicators, which confirms the need to conduct research and implement in practice the main measures related to the modernization of the specified repair and maintenance base.

In a broad sense, the utilization of agricultural machinery is a set of technical, organizational, economic, legal, financial and environmental measures to ensure the effective utilization of agricultural machinery, its aggregates (compo-nents of the technical base) at the final stage of the life cycle in order to maximize involvement in economic turnover. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in analyzing the work of foreign and domestic authors related to the formation of a resource-saving, environmentally-oriented system for recycling equipment. (Materials and methods) The article presents diverse studies in various areas, in which various materials and methods were used. Authors used a large amount of data characterizing the possibilities of creating a system for recycling agricultural ma-chinery in the agro-industrial complex of Russia, based on the state of the agricul-tural machine-tractor fleet, its age characteristics and the ability of engineering enterprises to carry out this type of activity. The obtained information was processed using statistical analysis methods. (Results and condemnation) The developed con-cept determines the necessity of creating a specific (industry-specific) system for the disposal of agricultural machinery in the agro-industrial complex of Russia as a component of a unified system for the disposal of machinery. (Conclusions) The conducted research showed that Russia is significantly lagging behind foreign countries in solving the problem of recycling equipment, so the best option can be considered to be working out the recycling mechanism in the process of building a local (industry) recycling system at the regional level. This will allow us to work out the elements of the national system for the disposal of decommissioned equip-ment in a relatively short time with minimal expenditure of various kinds of resources. The article presents the amount of subsidies for the creation of a specific system for the disposal of agricultural machinery in Russia.

The state of the repair and maintenance facilities operating within Russia’s agro-industrial complex is reviewed. The existing stock of agricultural machinery is analyzed. Measures to improve the efficiency of such repair and maintenance facilities are proposed.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is influenced by both genetic and environmental factors; thus, brain epigenomic alterations may provide insights into AD pathogenesis. Multiple array-based Epigenome-Wide Association Studies (EWASs) have identified robust brain methylation changes in AD; however, array-based assays only test about 2% of all CpG sites in the genome. Here, we develop EWASplus, a computational method that uses a supervised machine learning strategy to extend EWAS coverage to the entire genome. Application to six AD-related traits predicts hundreds of new significant brain CpGs associated with AD, some of which are further validated experimentally. EWASplus also performs well on data collected from independent cohorts and different brain regions. Genes found near top EWASplus loci are enriched for kinases and for genes with evidence for physical interactions with known AD genes. In this work, we show that EWASplus implicates additional epigenetic loci for AD that are not found using array-based AD EWASs., Array-based epigenome-wide association studies only test about 2% of the CpG sites in the genome. Here, the authors describe EWASplus, a supervised machine learning strategy that extends EWAS coverage to the entire genome, and use it to identify novel brain CpGs associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

Biomarkers that predict symptom trajectories after trauma can facilitate early detection or intervention for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and may also advance our understanding of its biology. Here, we aimed to identify trajectory-based biomarkers using blood transcriptomes collected in the immediate aftermath of trauma exposure. Participants were recruited from an Emergency Department in the immediate aftermath of trauma exposure and assessed for PTSD symptoms at baseline, 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. Three empirical symptom trajectories (chronic-PTSD, remitting, and resilient) were identified in 377 individuals based on longitudinal symptoms across four data points (1, 3, 6, and 12 months), using latent growth mixture modeling. Blood transcriptomes were examined for association with longitudinal symptom trajectories, followed by expression quantitative trait locus analysis. GRIN3B and AMOTL1 blood mRNA levels were associated with chronic vs. resilient post-trauma symptom trajectories at a transcriptome-wide significant level (N = 153, FDR-corrected p value = 0.0063 and 0.0253, respectively). We identified four genetic variants that regulate mRNA blood expression levels of GRIN3B. Among these, GRIN3B rs10401454 was associated with PTSD in an independent dataset (N = 3521, p = 0.04). Examination of the BrainCloud and GTEx databases revealed that rs10401454 was associated with brain mRNA expression levels of GRIN3B. While further replication and validation studies are needed, our data suggest that GRIN3B, a glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit-3B, may be involved in the manifestation of PTSD. In addition, the blood mRNA level of GRIN3B may be a promising early biomarker for the PTSD manifestation and development.

The development of scientific hypotheses and approaches to improve the strategy of maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery is becoming one of the most relevant areas in the agro-industrial complex, since it is of paramount importance in the technical support of the machine and tractor fleet throughout the entire life cycle of machines. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in studying the methods of searching for defects of internal combustion engine on the example of the connecting rod of the tractor engine K-744. (Materials and methods) The study of methods and means of controlling parts of automotive internal combustion engines during defects and repairs are conducted. Authors developed an automated interactive system with software for monitoring these parameters on the example of the connecting rod of the K-744 tractor engine. The article proposes a new maintenance strategy based on the use of multiple tolerances, each tolerance corresponding to a certain wear rate of the part. As a result of this strategy, the failure rate is significantly reduced and the average service life increases. (Results and discussion) The article presents the experimental data on the wear of the surface of the lower connecting rod head by the angle of rotation of the internal meter. Measurements were carried out on a special installation consisting of a controlled connecting rod of the YaMZ, an internal measuring device of the NI brand-75-100-1, two metal washers with a diameter of 93 and a thickness of 7 millimeters and a micrometer of 0-100 mm, designed for calibration of the internal measuring device. (Conclusions) The experimental dependences of the surface wear of the lower connecting rod head on the angle of rotation of the internal meter for different connecting rods in three sections in height at an equal distance between themselves are 13, 20 and 27 millimeters in height of the lower connecting rod head.

The agro-industrial complex of Russia is one of the main consumers of petroleum products. The volume of work in agriculture, the loading of equipment when performing field and transport work place increased demands on the quality of fuels and lubricants. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in compilation of a comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign sources to obtain detailed characteristics of fuel and lubricants economy systems. (Materials and methods) The article presents the methods of economical use of fuel and lubricants based on domestic and foreign sources, information about the quality and range of oils used in the agro-industrial complex of Russia. The article considers the basics of rational use of waste materials, ways to clean them from contamination, presented technologies and technical means for the recovery (regeneration) of waste oils. (Results and discussion) Currently existing fuel and lubricant saving systems do not fully meet the requirements of resource saving and environmental standards. The use of recommendations, guidelines, regulatory and technical documentation on this problem in the developed system of fuel and lubricants economy will allow consumers of the agro-industrial complex to reduce fuel costs by 7-25 percent; reduce friction losses by 3-5 times; restore the geometry of worn friction surfaces; increase the engine power by 5-10 percent; extend the life of the engine and mechanisms by 8-12 percent. (Conclusions) The developed regulatory framework, theoretical and methodological provisions will allow the management departments of the agro-industrial complex at the regional (district) level and large agricultural enterprises to develop and implement scientifically based solutions for organizing the processes of saving fuel and lubricants during the operation of agricultural machines and aggregates.

The interface between LibXC and GAMESS (US), which enables the latter to perform calculations with >200 popular density functional approximations, including recently proposed r2SCAN, M06-SX and CAM-QTP00, is presented. The LibXC-GAMESS interface allows users to specify custom functionals as linear combinations of the present ones, exact exchange (producing hybrids) and MP2-correlation (producing double-hybrids).
