The article continues the analysis of the work of the model developed by the authors of forecasting money laundering rate. The purpose of the study is to compare the results of the forecast with the actual data. Authors used official data by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on economic crime rate for the period January 2011 – July 2022. In the last published work, a forecast was formed based on the seasonal integrated autoregression – moving average (SARIMA) model for 11 months of 2022 from February to December. This forecast for the past 6 months has been verified by comparison with the actual values by calculating the relative error and the RMSE (root mean square error). In comparison, the authors noted a rare distribution of registered cases for the last decade: an excess of the number of crimes in May over June. The result of the study may be used as an auxiliary tool in the analytical complexes of subjects of financial monitoring and supervisory authorities. The results reflected the high accuracy of the forecasts obtained for the sum of the periods, and the conclusion was also made about the importance of observing the seasonal structure of the dynamics of crimes for operational changes in the parameters of the model.

Subject. The article considers the monitoring of economic security of apartment management companies. Objectives. The aim is to underpin methodological approaches to identifying risks and threats associated with the activities of management companies of apartment buildings that are significant for socio-economic development of municipalities and regions. Methods. The study employs general scientific methods of cognition. Results. We established that management companies do not use methods for assessing threats and risks to ensure economic security. The study of the economic security of management companies demonstrated their clear impact on the economy of the region and the well-being of some industries related to water, electricity and heat supply of apartment buildings, as well as on socio-economic indicators of regional (municipal) development. In connection with these circumstances, in the development of the methodology, we considered areas of risk identification and then, on their basis, threats. The developed methodology can be used for external monitoring by industry regulatory authorities to minimize threats to economic security at the regional level, and to support the management companies themselves. Conclusions. To assess the economic stability of the housing and communal services industry, it is important to investigate the activities of management companies. The offered methodology for identifying threats to management companies to monitor their economic security enables to identify risks and threats to the economic condition of management companies, which is necessary to ensure economic security.

A correlation between the sensing and electrical properties of monolayer OFETs based on novel organosilicon derivatives of BTBT with different lengths of terminal alkyl groups was revealed.

The article suggests model for predicting the level of money laundering on the basis of data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the state of economic crime in Russia since the beginning of 2011. Using a seasonally integrated autoregressive moving average (SARIMA) model, it compares different regression models for the research tasks (linear regression, logistic regression, autoregressive and SARIMA). The necessity of taking into account seasonal regularities in the structure of money laundering was underlined, and the SARIMA model with the lowest deviations from the actual values was chosen. The article presents the results of data analysis using the method of least squares, calculating the mean squared error (MSE). High accuracy of short-term forecasts was noted: the deviation from the actual number of cases is about three cases (with the average number of cases being 68 over the last 10 years). The forecasting model can be recommended for implementation in the analytical complexes of financial monitoring and supervisory authorities.

The Russian high-technology manufacturing of lactose of food and pharmaceutical grades is presented. Technology of prebiotic lactulose is being created using lactose as a raw material. The concept of lactose and its derivatives producing from various types of the basis lactose-containing raw materials for import substitution in medicine, veterinary, infant food and healthy nutrition has been developed.

The geographic range of the rare coleopteran Tragosoma depsarium (Linnaeus, 1767) is summarized, and the Eurasian distribution is mapped for the first time. Particular attention is paid to the eastern Palaearctic part of the species’ range, where dubious data prevail. Distributional data from the Russian Far East have been published, but not confirmed, are considered, and new records of this species in Eastern Siberia are reported.&nbsp

Introduction. Microorganisms of dairy raw materials tend to adhere to the surfaces of processing equipment and form sustainable biofilms, which is a serious issue in the dairy industry. The goal of the present work was to investigate formation of biofilms on a glass surface in static model conditions, and removal of such biofilms by cleaning. Study objects and methods. The study objects were the permeates of skim milk, sweet whey and acid whey, as well as the biofilms formed and washings from glass slides. Biofilms were removed from the glass with detergents used in the dairy industry. Standard methods of determining microbiological and physicochemical properties were used to characterize the permeates. The biofilm structure and morphology of microorganisms participating in biofilm formation were investigated with a light spectroscopy. The efficiency of biofilm removal in a cleaning process was quantified with optical density of washings. Results and discussion. Biofilms in whey permeates formed slower compared to those in skimmed milk permeate during the first 24 h. Yeasts contributed significantly to the biofilm microflora in acid whey permeate throughout 5 days of biofilm growth. Well adhered biofilm layers were the most stable in skimmed milk permeate. The highest growth of both well and poorly adhered biofilm layers was observed in sweet whey permeate after 3–5 days. It was established that the primary attachment of microorganisms to a glass surface occurred within 8 h, mature multicultural biofilms formed within 48 h, and their partial destruction occurred within 72 h. Conclusion. The research results can be used to improve the cleaning equipment procedures in processing secondary dairy raw materials.

In this paper the first report on species composition, the seasonal dynamics of imago activity, as well as trophic and zoogeographic features of the longicorn beetle fauna of Russky Island is given.

Friedel–Crafts acylation of tetrathienoacene (TTA) followed by a reduction reaction resulting in various octyl-substituted TTA derivatives is described for the first time. Varying conditions of the acylation reaction allowed control over the formation of mono- or diketones, which were further reduced to mono- or dialkyls. It was shown that an alkyl group can be introduced either in α, β, or both positions of TTA in a controllable way. Optical, thermal, electrochemical and semiconducting properties of the mono and dioctyl substituted derivatives of TTA are presented. Small and wide-angle diffraction investigations made it possible to attribute the P2 monoclinic crystal structure for C8-TTA-C8 and mesophase existence for C8-TTA at room temperature. Top-contact bottom gate OFETs with a C8-TTA-C8 active layer fabricated by vacuum deposition or solution processing showed similar characteristics pointing out its good processability.

A boost in the development of flexible and wearable electronics facilitates the design of new materials to be applied as transparent conducting films (TCFs). Although single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) films are the most promising candidates for flexible TCFs, they still do not meet optoelectronic requirements demanded for their successful industrial integration. In this study, we proposed and thoroughly investigated a new approach that comprises simultaneous bilateral (outer and inner surface) SWCNT doping after their opening by thermal treatment at 400 °C under an ambient air atmosphere. Doping by a chloroauric acid (HAuCl4) ethanol solution allowed us to achieve the record value of equivalent sheet resistance of 31 ± 4 Ω sq-1 at a transmittance of 90% in the middle of the visible spectrum (550 nm). The strong p-doping was examined by open-circuit potential (OCP) measurements and confirmed by ab initio calculations demonstrating a downshift of the Fermi level of around 1 eV for the case of bilateral doping.

The paper focuses on the taxonomic composition of the subfamily Necydalinae Latreille, 1825 in the Amur Region. As a result of field research, study of collection materials and literature, the presence in the Amur Region of two out of five species registered in Russia was reliably revealed. All these species belong to one genus and one tribe. For the first time, the species Necydalis pennata Lewis, 1879 is observed in Amur Region.

The article gives a review of the Cerambycidae fauna of Shantar Islands. The trophic relationships and world distribution of longicorn beetles of the archipelago are considered. The data of the collected specimens are provided. To the one already known species we have added 20 previously unknown for the fauna of the Shantar Islands.

Requirements of speed and simplicity in testing stimulate the development of modern biosensors. Electrolyte-gated organic field-effect transistors (EGOFETs) are a promising platform for ultrasensitive, fast, and reliable detection of biological molecules for low-cost, point-of-care bioelectronic sensing. Biosensitivity of the EGOFET devices can be achieved by modification with receptors of one of the electronic active interfaces of the transistor gate or organic semiconductor surface. We investigate a fast and accurate technique for mode decomposition in multimode optical fibers. Initial decomposition task of near-field beam patterns is reformulated in terms of a system of linear equations, requires neither machine learning nor iterative routines. We apply the method to step and graded-index fibers and compare the decomposition performance. We determine corresponding application boundaries, propose an efficient algorithm for phase retrieval and carry out a specific preselective procedure that increases the number of decomposable modes and makes it possible to handle up to fifteen modes in presence of realistic noise levels.

Mode decomposition refers to a set of techniques aimed to recover modal content in multimode optical fibers. In this Letter, we examine the appropriateness of the similarity metrics commonly used in experiments on mode decomposition in few-mode fibers. We show that the conventional Pearson correlation coefficient is often misleading and should not be used as the sole criterion for justifying decomposition performance in the experiment. We consider several alternatives to the correlation and propose another metric that most accurately reflects the discrepancy between complex mode coefficients, given received and recovered beam speckles. In addition, we show that such a metric enables transfer learning of deep neural networks on experimental data and tangibly ameliorates their performance.

In this article a main attention given to the method of analyzing the state of forest areas by video surveillance. In particular, variants of devices for mounting video equipment on tree trunks are presented. The proposed technical solutions are one of the components in increasing the efficiency of monitoring forest areas. Together with the existing technical and technological devices used to solve the problem, they increase the quality of tracking possible forest fires, can be used to monitor the quantitative characteristics, species composition and dynamics of the reproduction of wild animals in the forest environment. The offered devices are easy to manufacture, lightweight and compact.

The article deals with the creation of innovative technologies that ensure the rational use of natural resources in the forestry industry, in particular, the technology of plantation artificial reproduction of fir trees. A methodological approach to the design of fir plantations for sustainable forest management in the production of fir oil has been developed. The aim of the work is to solve problematic issues of procurement of raw materials for the production of fir oil and other products of processing of fir boughs. A rational sequence for the development of forest areas and the design of a device for planting containerized fir seedlings are proposed.

The article provides satellite monitoring of the fire situation in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Mari El. The methods of fighting forest fires are indicated. Particular attention is paid to the use of soil for the direct fight against forest fires by throwing it with special devices (firefighting soilthrow machine), which are perspective, especially when extinguishing low forest fires. The design of a firefighting soilthrow machine for extinguishing forest fires by creating (laying) mineralized strips and filling the edge of a moving fire with soil (low fires) is proposed.

В результате полевых исследований, изучения коллекционных материалов и на основе литературных данных достоверно выявлено два вида из пяти, зарегистрированных на территории России. Все виды принадлежат к одному роду и одной трибе. Впервые для территории области приводится вид Necydalis pennata Lewis, 1879.

A new surgical technique of transscleral-intracorneal suture fixation of intraocular lenses with suture ends located within the transparent corneal or corneal-limbal paracentesis is reported. This new technique significantly reduces scleral and conjunctival trauma, is minimally invasive, is simple to perform, is not associated with complicated intraocular surgical maneuvers, and precludes suture knot, flange, and suture-end erosion. The internal part of the corneal stroma or corneal-limbal area serves as a secure depot for suture-end fixation with durable resistance. The technique enables visualization of the exact position of suture ends over time.

These data are related to our previous paper “Synthesis and approbation of new neuroprotective chemicals of pyrrolyl- and indolylazine classes in a cell model of Alzheimer's disease” (Dutysheva et al., 2021), in which we demonstrate neuroprotective abilities of pyrrolyl- and indolylazines in a cell model of Alzheimer's disease. Using a novel procedure of photocatalysis we have synthesized a group of new compounds. The current article presents nuclear magnetic resonance spectra including heteronuclear single quantum coherence spectra of chemicals synthesized by us. The effect of new compounds have on heat shock proteins genes expression in reprogrammed human neurons are presented. We also presented data that verify neuronal phenotype of reprogrammed cells.

The growing demand for wearable electronics requires flexible and stretchable conductive materials. Among them, carbon nanotubes are recognized for their outstanding mechanical, electrical, optical properties and chemical stability. In this paper, we introduce a novel technique of carbon nanotube fiber fabrication, which we named Wet Pulling. The method allows straightforward fiber production out of carbon nanotube thin films, collected on a filter after the synthesis or deposited onto any substrate. It relies on a combination of film and solvent properties. The wet pulling technique has prominent advantages that make it a promising candidate for both small and large-scale production of CNT fibers with desired properties. The method is also easily adaptive to different kinds of carbon nanotubes and allows rapid fabrication of both active and passive flexible electronic components. A tactile sensor, a pulsometer and an electrical circuit are fabricated for the demonstration of their applicability. We expect this new approach to simplify the production of functional carbon nanotube fibers and to enlarge their usage in diverse applications.

One of the major causes of neurodegeneration in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease is the accumulation of cytotoxic amyloid species within the intercellular compartments of the brain. The efficacy of the anti-proteotoxic mechanism based on the molecular chaperones Hsp70 and Hsp90 in numerous types of neurons is often low, while its pharmacological enhancement has been shown to ameliorate the physiological and cognitive functions of the brain. Suggesting that the chemicals able to induce heat shock protein synthesis and therefore rescue neural cells from cytotoxicity associated with amyloid, we have synthesized a group of pyrrolyl- and indolylazines that cause the accumulation of heat shock proteins, using a novel method of photocatalysis that is employed in green chemistry. The selected compounds were tested in a cell model of Alzheimer's disease and demonstrated a pronounced neuroprotective effect. These substances increased the survival of neurons, blocked the activation of β-galactosidase, and prevented apoptosis in neurons cultured in the presence of β-amyloid.

Modern solid-state gas sensors approaching ppb-level limit of detection open new perspectives for process control, environmental monitoring and exhaled breath analysis. Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are especially promising for gas sensing due to their outstanding sensitivities, low cost and small power consumption. However, they suffer of poor selectivity, requiring development of cross-selective arrays to distinguish analytes, and environmental instability, especially in humid air. Here we present the first fully integrated OFET-based electronic nose with the whole sensor array located on a single substrate. It features down to 30 ppb limit of detection provided by monolayer thick active layers and operates in air with up to 95% relative humidity. By means of principal component analysis, it is able to discriminate toxic air pollutants and monitor meat product freshness. The approach presented paves the way for developing affordable air sensing networks for the Internet of Things.

Рассматривается фауна Cerambycidae Амуро-Зейского междуречья в пределах Амурской области. Выявлено 88 видов из 52 родов 22 триб и четырех подсемейств. Впервые для фауны области приводятся четыре вида: Olenecamptus octopustulatus (Motschulsky, 1860), Oberea morio Kraatz, 1879, O. scutellaroides Breuning, 1947 и Phytoecia sareptana Ganglbauer, 1888. Дается анализ таксономической структуры, экологических и зоогеографических особенностей группы на исследуемой территории.

We present the state-of-the-art performance of air-coupled thermophones made of thin, freestanding films of randomly oriented single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). The work demonstrates both experimentally and theoretically that extremely low heat capacity per unit area of SWCNT films allows centimeter-sized thermophones to achieve record sound pressures (normalized to the input power and geometry) in the frequency range of 1–100 kHz. Our SWCNT films have an aerogel structure. We systematically investigated their thermoacoustic performance as a function of the film thickness and purity. On the theoretical side, we obtained an analytic formula for the sound pressure in the ultrasound region and confirmed it by experiments and numerical simulations.

Publisher Copyright: © 2022 The Authors Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) based transparent and conductive films (TCFs) are one of the most prospective materials for novel flexible and stretchable electronic devices. Development of reproducible and scalable doping procedure is the key step towards the widespread implementation of SWCNT TCFs. Here, we thoroughly investigate a dip-coating technique for SWCNT doping as a promising approach for the practical manufacturing of SWCNT films with high performance. We examine the effect of dip-coating parameters on optical and electrical properties of the films using HAuCl4 solution in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and in situ investigate doping effects. This method appeared to easily fine-tune the optoelectronic parameters of SWCNT films and achieve a record sheet resistance value of 36 Ohm/sq. at the 90% transmittance in the middle of visible spectral range by increasing a work function value from 4.8 (for pristine SWCNTs) to 6.0 eV. The proposed approach allows efficient, uniform, and reproducible fabrication of highly conductive and transparent SWCNT films and opens an avenue for precise tailoring of SWCNT Fermi level for optoelectronic devices.
