Abstract

A mathematical model was developed, during which the voltage equations of the three-phase winding of a brushless DC motor with permanent magnets, the electromagnetic torque of a brushless DC motor, electromagnetic power, the induced emf of each winding, and the differential torque equation of the servo system were obtained. Based on the constructed mathematical model of the BLDC for a specific motor with given parameters, simulation modeling was carried out and the dependences of electromechanical quantities were obtained: angular velocity of the rotor, electromagnetic torque, stator phase current and rotor rotation angle on time. The simulation results confirmed the theoretical justification of the mathematical model. The resulting mathematical description of the BLDC can be used to build the architecture of a control unit based on a neural network controller.

Abstract

Mathematical models for controlling centrally oriented and non-centrally oriented rotary wheels of a mobile robot are considered. Based on the analysis of the kinematics of the mobile robot, the dependences of the rotation angle of the rear and front free wheel on the angular velocities of the right and left differentially driven drive wheel were obtained. For a specific mobile robot with certain kinematic parameters, graphs of the dependences of the angle of rotation of the free wheels on the radius of rotation of each wheel and graphs of the dependences of the angle of rotation of the free wheels on the angular velocities of the driving wheels were constructed. The results obtained made it possible to establish a pattern between the angle of rotation of the castor wheels and the design characteristics of the robot. A certain range of angular velocities of the driving wheels in accordance with the limiting values of the caster wheel rotation angles makes it possible to take into account the obtained mathematical models to increase the stability of the movement of the mobile robot.

Abstract

The paper developed a mathematical model of the control system for a mobile tracked robot, which takes into account the kinematic parameters (angular speeds of rotation of the rollers and the center of mass of the robot, the linear speed of the robot and its angle of rotation relative to the normal to the axis) and dynamic parameters (moments of inertia, resistance forces and electromechanical parameters used electric motors), which made it possible to give the most complete mathematical representation of the description of the movement of a caterpillar mobile robot. A control system for mobile robots along a predetermined trajectory is obtained, taking into account position feedback.

Abstract

Polycrystalline ingots bridgman grown and by chemical method reactions of gas-transport connections Cu2ZnSnS4 single crystals of different forms: needle-like, plate and prismatic are received. The composition, structure of the grown single crystals was determined and unit cell parameters were calculated. The melt temperature was determined using DTA method. Transmission spectra in the region of intrinsic absorption edge were studied in temperature interval 20-300 K. The band gap width of Cu2ZnSnS4 single crystals was determined, its temperature dependency has been built and the calculation of the indicated dependency has been carried out. It was shown, that the experimental and calculated values are in good correlations.

Abstract

FeGa2Se4 single crystals belonging to the promising class of diluted magnetic semiconductors of the AB2X4 type (A is Mn, Fе, Co, or Ni; B is Ga or In; and X is S, Sе, or Te) are investigated; this compound is currently used for designing solid-state magnetically controlled devices. Optically homogeneous bulk FeGa2Se4 single crystals ~14 mm in diameter and ~50 mm long are obtained for the first time from melt by the modified Bridgman method. The elemental composition of the crystals is determined by X-ray spectral microprobe analysis; it corresponds to the specified composition in the initial charge. It is established by X-ray diffraction analysis that this compound is crystallized into a cubic sphalerite-type structure with unitcell parameter a = 5.498 ± 0.005 A. The melting and crystallization temperatures of the grown FeGa2Se4 single crystals are determined by differential thermal analysis. The melting temperature is 1283 K. The microhardness of the single crystals is measured for the first time, the density is determined by the pycnometric method, and the parameters of hyperfine interaction of iron ions are found on the basis of the Mossbauer spectra.

Abstract

The transmittance spectra of single-crystal CuIn5S8 and FeIn2S4 ternary compounds and (CuIn5S8)1–x · (FeIn2S4)x alloys grown by planar crystallization of the melt are studied in the region of the fundamental-absorption edge. From the experimentally recorded spectra, the band gap of the compounds and their alloys is determined, and the compositional dependence of the band gap is constructed. It is established that the band gap nonlinearly varies with the composition parameter x (with a maximum at the average content x) and can be described by a quadratic dependence.

Abstract

Single crystals of the ternary compound FeIn2Se4 are grown by directional crystallization of the melt. The composition and structure of the single crystals are determined. The local states of iron ions in this compound are studied by nuclear γ-resonance spectroscopy in transmission configuration. The temperature and field dependences of a specific magnetic moment for the ternary compound FeIn2Se4 are measured in the temperature range 4–310 K in magnetic fields of 0–140 kOe. The reasons and mechanisms for magnetic state formation in single crystals of the obtained compound are discussed.

Abstract

Studies of the optical, magnetic, and electrical properties of a CuFe2.33In9.67S17.33 single crystal in 5–300 K temperature and 0–14 T field ranges are carried out. The nature of the change of spectral dependence of the absorption coefficient is found. Bandgap is determined, which is equal 1.5 eV. It is established that the studied sample is paramagnetic. In the main state ferromagnetic correlations of a near order are found, which are characteristic for spin glass with a freezing temperature in an area of 9 K. The magnetic ordering temperature is about 11 K. The sample studied is a semiconductor with 15.2 kΩ cm resistivity at room temperature. The magnetic and electrical states' formation mechanism for a CuFe2.33In9.67S17.33 single crystal is proposed.
