- Abstract
The medical economic analysis of the population mortality in Permsky kray from 2005 to 2007 as related to various population groups was carried out. The causes of death were ranked according to the number of economically active life years lost per one case of death (relative loss) and to the aggregate number of economically active life years lost (absolute loss). The valuation and assessment of mortality rates as related to the relative and absolute losses was carried out. The results of study allow to consider them as integrated criteria characterizing the population health in the most comprehensive degree.
