The objective of this study is the creation of a tourist route in the rural parishes of Guasaganda and Pucayacu, located in the canton of La Maná, one of the seven cantons of the province of Cotopaxi, taking into consideration its geographical, cultural, natural, and socioeconomic aspects. The aim is to offer an integral vision of the tourist potential of this area and its use by the local community and visitors. Tourist points of interest have been identified and mapped, then a route has been created with two variants in order to have two options for tourists, considering that there are people who like the cultural aspect and others who like nature. As a result, a general route with two variants has been created, the first variant ends at a waterfall focusing on nature, the second variant is related to the cultural aspect since at the end of the route you will find an archaeological site. The purpose of creating an agrotourism route is for the socioeconomic development of the parishes, as well as to have a different tourism potential. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

El aprovechamiento sostenible de los recursos naturales incluye diversas actividades que involucra tanto al turista como a la misma población de un determinado lugar. El objetivo de este estudio es diseñar una propuesta gráfica descriptiva de circuitos turísticos en Playa Gigante y Playa Amarillo como estrategia de promoción de estos sitios naturales y como parte del fortalecimiento del desarrollo socioeconómico y de la identidad territorial y cultural del municipio de Tola, Rivas, Nicaragua. El estudio se realizó en la comunidad Gigante (Playa Gigante) y el Tambo (Playa Amarillo) en el municipio de Tola en Rivas, Nicaragua. El trabajo se dividió en tres etapas: 1) planificación 2) recolección de información en campo y 3) procesamiento y análisis de la información. Se desarrolló un taller implementando herramientas participativas para efectuar un diagnóstico turístico de la comunidad Gigante; por medio de una evaluación ecológica rápida se registraron treinta y dos especies de flora, diecinueve especies de aves y dos de mamíferos, las cuales se clasificaron según la lista roja de la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza, apéndices de la Convención sobre el Comercio de Especies Amenazadas de Fauna y Flora Silvestre y vedas nacionales; también se determinaron sitios naturales potenciales para el turismo, se georreferenciaron y nombraron estaciones interpretativas. Se identificaron seis categorías de sitios naturales, que son: aguas lóticas (aguas continuamente en movimiento) como quebrada y estero, costas litorales, acantilados, tierras insulares (islotes), lugar de caza y pesca y lugar de observación de flora y fauna silvestre. Se elaboraron dos mapas ilustrativos con sus estaciones, determinándose tiempo y distancia total de las rutas y posibles actividades interpretativas para cada estación, como material interpretativo se diseñaron cincuenta y una fichas descriptivas de las especies de flora y fauna silvestres, que sirvieron de insumo para crear un catálogo del lugar.

Application of green chemistry for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using extracts of takes off of Ruta, Pimpinella saxifrage, and mango. And also a new method to reproduce new drugs based on silver nanoparticles with omeprazole and omeprazole sulfide and pantoprazole and pantoprazole sulfide with extricates of Ruta, Pimpinella saxifrage, and mango. In this investigation, the plant extricate was used to create natural silver nanoparticles. In this reaction, each drug was carried out with silver nitrate salt with a concentration of 30 ml at room temperature, which changes the color of the compound from green to dark. In expansion, within the second step, silver nanoparticles were included within the narcotic, and an advanced metal nanoparticle from the plant extricates as a silver molecule reducer. The retention crest esteem is between 400-450 nm for the extricate and the color alters to dark compared to silver plasmon retention. Background: Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) in a spectrum of neurodevelopmental conditions resulting from prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE). Animal models have confirmed the toxic effects of PAE on the kidneys and urinary tract, yet the evidence from human studies is contradictory. The purpose of this study was to establish the incidence of renal and urinary tract anomalies (RUTA), impaired kidney function, and hypertension among patients with FASD. Methods: Children from the FASD Diagnostic Center with FASD diagnosis (FAS, pFAS, or ARND) were offered participation in the study. The control group consisted of patients from the Gastroenterology Department of the same hospital. The patients underwent renal and urinary tract ultrasound examination. The serum creatinine level was also evaluated and the blood pressure was taken twice. Polish OLAF charts were used to determine the percentiles of blood pressure. Results: The incidence of kidney and urinary tract defects in the study group was significantly higher than in the control group (OR: 2.64 [1.60–4.34]). The kidney size among FASD patients was significantly lower (73 mm [60–83] vs. 83 mm [70–96]; p <.001) when compared to the control group. No differences were observed in the estimated glomerular filtration rate. In the study group, significantly lower systolic blood, diastolic blood pressure, percentile of systolic pressure, and diastolic pressure were observed. Conclusions: RUTA occurred more frequently among patients with FASD compared to the control group, and decreased kidney size was also demonstrated among patients with FASD. Based on analyses carried out with plant material found in mummy shrouds preserved in the archaeological museum El Museo Canario, a putatively extinct new species of Ruta (Rutaceae) was identified and is described here as R. museocanariensis. The mummies were found in the funerary sites of Acusa and the Barranco de Guayadeque on Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. This article discusses taxonomic relationships with other species of the genus, aspects of colonization and evolutionary processes on islands. The archaeological plant material consists of vegetative and reproductive branches with leaves, remains of flowers and capsules. Several morphological traits, especially the type of fruits, establish a clear difference between Ruta species from Gran Canaria and the mainland (dehiscent) and species from the W Canary Islands (indehiscent). The discovery of R. museocanariensis, with dehiscent fruits, suggests that indehiscence is a post-colonization evolutionary process in the Canary Islands. It also supports a stepping-stone model of inter-island colonization with Gran Canaria as its starting point, in agreement with the age of the islands and to some extent with their distance from the mainland. El espacio físico propuesto, en el presente trabajo, es la frontera entre España y Portugal, en la provincia de Ourense, donde ocurrieron hechos bélicos que proporcionaron al paisaje una red de castillos para el control y vigilancia; una arquitectura que articuló el territorio y que llegó a nuestros días en diversos estados de conservación. En este contexto, la valorización del patrimonio defensivo para diseñar una ruta cultural vinculada a la historia de la frontera se inicia con el estudio bibliográfico que permita contar con el estado de la cuestión y posterior trabajo que implica visitar y analizar las posibilidades turísticas de estos inmuebles. También, es necesaria la revisión de la infraestructura hotelera, puesto que el objetivo es buscar una experiencia turística integral. En consecuencia, el itinerario debe contribuir a la dinamización del mundo rural, al conocimiento de la historia fronteriza y a la presentación de nuevas oportunidades laborales.

This article presents a methodological proposal for the conceptual construction of the academic habitus based on the co-existence of multi-methodological work in which individuals' habitus and the class habitus of academics are reconstructed, taking into consideration a series of subjective pre-dispositions and institutional conditions. The authors' methodology was qualitative and part of a critical paradigm; their methodological strategy used case studies with a deductive approach. The proposed physical space, in this work, is the border between Spain and Portugal, in the province of Ourense, where war events occurred that provided the landscape with a network of castles for control and surveillance; an architecture that articulated the territory and that reached our days in various states of conservation. In this context, the valorization of defensive heritage to design a cultural route linked to the history of the border begins with a bibliographic study to have the state of the art and subsequent field work to visit and analyze the tourist possibilities of these properties. Also, it is necessary to review the hotel infrastructure, since the objective is to seek a comprehensive tourist experience. La diversidad de aves en el Ecuador constituye el factor clave para desarrollar el aviturismo, modalidad que involucra el desplazamiento, observación, identificación y registro de las especies que habitan en su entorno natural. Además, contribuye con la conservación de hábitats, de paisajes y fomento de la economía local a través de la prestación de servicios turísticos. En el estudio se registraron aves durante dos años (febrero 2019 - diciembre 2020) en el sector Quijos Huayco, en la parroquia Cuyuja, cantón Quijos, provincia de Napo, con el fin de determinar las oportunidades para fomentar el aviturismo en la zona. Es una investigación de tipo descriptivo y análisis documental, que contempla un inventario de especies de aves, su estado de conservación y abundancia, así como la identificación de servicios, actividades turísticas y sitios de visita. El análisis se fundamentó en la revisión de información disponible de investigaciones previas y registros de avistamientos, información que cubrió 28 listas, con un total de 141 especies, 1.169 individuos, de 15 órdenes y de 36 familias. Asimismo, se identificaron establecimientos de servicios y lugares potenciales de observación. Cuyuja se encuentra en un sitio especial de conexión con Papallacta, Baeza y Cosanga, donde han sido identificados importantes sitios de observación de aves y se desarrollan eventos, como el conteo navideño de aves. Estas características resultan favorables para promover rutas de avistamiento en la zona norte de la provincia de Napo.

A principios de 1930, surgió en Xalapa, Veracruz, un movimiento cultural en torno al grupo Noviembre, con el fin de producir “literatura proletaria”. Protagonizado por Lorenzo Turrent Rozas, José Mancisidor, Julio de la Fuente y Germán List Arzubide, entre otros, el movimiento se desprendió en parte del Estridentismo, vanguardia cultural activa en los años 20, y a la vez constituyó una crítica de éste desde una postura más cercana al realismo social o documentalista. El grupo editaba las revistas Simiente, Noviembre y Ruta, al tiempo que publicaba libros a través de su editorial, Integrales. El presente artículo explora este conjunto de proyectos, haciendo hincapié en sus orígenes, contextos, contenidos y la dinámica local-internacional en su propuesta.

In this study, the essential oils (EOs) of separated organs (roots, leaves, stems and flowers) of Ruta chalapensis L., Ruta gravealens L., and Ruta montana L. are characterized by GC/MS analysis and the intra-species variations of the chemical composition of essential oils from three Morocco species were investigated using statistical analysis (principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis (CA)). Correlations between the EO chemical compositions, organs and species were discussed. The results obtained show that a mixture of ketones generally characterizes the EOs of the different organs of three species studied, which 2-undecanone reach 74,36%. Nevertheless, it was observed specific significant disparities between species but also within the same species, especially for presence of chalepensin, geijerene and elemol.

Corsica and Sardinia form one of the areas with highest biodiversity in the Mediterranean and are considered one of the priority regions for conservation in Europe. In order to preserve the high levels of endemism and biological diversity at different hierarchical levels, knowledge of the evolutionary history and current genetic structure of Corso-Sardinian endemics is instrumental. Microsatellite markers were newly developed and used to study the genetic structure and taxonomic status of Ruta corsica and Ruta lamarmorae, rare endemics of Corsica and Sardinia, respectively, and previously considered a single species. Our analyses identified high levels of genetic variation within each species (P=0.883, He=0.543 for R. corsica; P=0.972, He=0.627 for R. lamarmorae). Intrinsic traits of the species (hermaphroditism, proterandry and polyploidy) and island-dependent factors (i.e. age, origin and history of the islands) might explain the detected high levels of genetic variation. We discovered differentiation between R. corsica and R. lamarmorae, and genetic structure within each species, which are consistent with the observation of low dispersal ability for both species. Our genetic results support the recent taxonomic classification of R. corsica and R. lamarmorae as separate species and suggest that they diverge at only few loci. One R. corsica population (SA) strongly differed from all other studied populations and appeared to be the product of hybridization between the two species in STRUCTURE analyses. Our results provide important insights for the conservation of the two rare endemics. Further genetic analyses are recommended for R. lamarmorae and for population SA (R. corsica).

Family Rutaceae is presented in Serbian flora with 3 genera and 4 species: Ruta graveolens L., Dictamnus albus L., Haplophyllum suaveolens (DC.) G. Don and H. boissieranum Vis. & Pančić. Comparative study of the phytochemical variability and antioxidant activity of ethanolic and methanolic extracts, obtained from these species’ areal parts, was performed. Total flavonoid content was determined spectrophotometrically and HPLC method was employed for quantification of coumarins. Fast antioxidant screening of samples was done in DPPH test. Flavonoid content of the tested samples varied from 2.82±0.27 to 27.72±0.15 mg of rutin equivalent (Ru)/g of extract. Psoralen, bergapten and xanthotoxin were detected and quantified only in R. graveolens extracts. All the tested samples exhibited notable potential in DPPH radicals scavenging assay. Yet, considerably lower activity was measured for Haplophyllum extracts. The present study brings forward the new data regarding the chemical profiles and antiradical activities of named Rutaceae species.

U ovom članku autor iz perspektive tradicionalnog židovskog tumačenja istražuje pozadinu i unutarnje značenje Psalma 69 i poglavlja 16 u Prvoj knjizi o Samuelu. U radu se najprije navode biblijski tekstovi koji opisuju djetinjstvo i mladenaštvo kralja Davida, a zatim se definiraju zbunjujuća pitanja koja se mogu iščitati iz tih i dodatnih tekstova u psalmima. Tekstovi opisuju neobičnu odbojnost Davidove obitelji prema njemu kao i odbojnost drugih ljudi spram kralja Davida. Središnji dio ovoga članka čini istraživanje koje nastoji doseći korijen takva neobičnog neprijateljstva. Samo istraživanje temelji se na mnoštvu rabinskih izvora, dio kojih je mističan. To su izvori koji istražuju neke skrivene i intimne epizode iz života roditelja i predaka kralja Davida, koji dovode u pitanje njegovo podrijetlo. Zbog tih događaja ljudi su se prema njemu ponašali neprijateljski i tako mu zagorčavali život. U ovom se istraživanju autor služi raznovrsnim izvorima rabinske književnosti, koji su nastajali od vremena Talmuda, preko srednjega vijeka sve do modernih vremena. To su književna djela koja su prvi put objavljena u ovom radu u autorovu prijevodu s hebrejskog i aramejskog jezika na hrvatski jezik.

Ruta L. is a typical genus of the citrus family, Rutaceae Juss. and comprises ca. 40 different species, mainly distributed in the Mediterranean region. Ruta species have long been used in traditional medicines as an abortifacient and emmenagogue and for the treatment of lung diseases and microbial infections. The genus Ruta is rich in essential oils, which predominantly contain aliphatic ketones, e.g., 2-undecanone and 2-nonanone, but lack any significant amounts of terpenes. Three Ruta species, Ruta chalepensis L., Ruta graveolens L., and Ruta montana L., have been extensively studied for the composition of their essential oils and several bioactivities, revealing their potential medicinal and agrochemical applications. This review provides a systematic evaluation and critical appraisal of publications available in the literature on the composition and bioactivities of the essential oils obtained from Ruta species and includes a brief outlook of the potential applications of nanotechnology and chitosan-based products of Ruta essential oils.

Las órdenes religiosas destacaron en la calidad de la búsqueda de lugares para los grupos monásticos, en nombre de la fe, la cultura y la agregación de las poblaciones. La ruta se centra en los templos raíz dominicanos (S. Gonçalo y S. Domingos, Amarante) y la absorción de otros (Mancelos y Freixo de Baixo, Amarante, y Ancede, Baião). En Amarante, el arte obedece al tratamiento de las diferentes fases estilísticas de los mejores artistas de las escuelas de Oporto y Braga. Vislumbramos estilos desde el manierismo hasta el neoclásico. Objetivos: asociar la ruta a las potencialidades de la región - turismo gastronómico, cultural y de naturaleza, buena accesibilidad y condiciones de alojamiento y la conexión con la Ruta del Románico de Tâmega e Sousa y Douro Sul. Como argumento de ruta, la metodología se basó en la literatura del autor y de los investigadores vinculados a las corrientes del arte y el turismo religioso, con un trabajo posterior con una encuesta, destacada en la conclusión.

En los últimos años, a nivel mundial el turismo religioso ha cobrado importancia debido al flujo de visitantes que generan significativos dividendos a la población del lugar. En esa línea de investigación, el presente trabajo enfoca y analiza a la peregrinación más numerosa e importante del Sur andino, a una imagen de la virgen María, a la llamada «Mamita de Chapi», en el santuario del mismo nombre a 76 km de la ciudad de Arequipa, Perú. El presente artículo estudia el origen, trayectoria y estado actual del santuario y resalta los elementos para crear una ruta turística religiosa que sería la primera de la región.

Cet article se propose de confronter deux types d’oeuvres d’art qui relèvent également du land-art et des arts paysagers. Il s’agit d’oeuvres qui, pour être perçues, exigent un parcours, un déplacement dans un site défini et délimité pour lequel elles ont été intentionnellement créées. Nous souhaitons montrer que ces oeuvres donnent lieu à des expériences esthétiques de régime tout à fait distinct et que leur performativité opère tout autrement dans chacun des cas. Elles nous touchent et nous émeuvent de manière différente. Nous essaierons alors de comprendre les raisons de cette dissemblance, et nous pensons que nous pouvons en trouver le fondement dans la forme de l’oeuvre et dans la capacité de l’artiste à inscrire en elle des idées esthétiques de manière à nous capter, à nous aspirer dans un temps et un espace spécifiques.The aim of this paper is to consider two types of works of art that both participate from land-art and art of landscape. These objects require to be perceived during a course, a move on a defined and specified site, and have been intentionally designed for this walk. Some of them are scattered along the coastline, others are all set on top of a former (WW2) submarine base. We aim at showing that these works give rise to very different kinds of aesthetical experiences, and that their performativity is two fold. They move us differently. So, we’ll try to understand the reasons of this difference and we believe that we could find the basics in the form of the work and in the artist’s ability to embed aesthetical Ideas, in order to attract or draw us in a specific time and space.Este artículo se propone confrontar dos tipos de obras del arte que pertenecen al land-art y al arte del paisaje. Obras que necesitan un trayecto o un movimiento para ser percibidas, porque se sitúan en un sitio bien delimitado, obras que fueron creadas intencionalmente para este lugar. Deseamos mostrar que estas obras causan una experiencia estética de un tipo claramente diferente, que su performatividad actúa de una manera particular, diferente según cada uno de los casos: estas obras nos tocan y nos mueven de maneras distintas. Seguimos después comprendiendo las razones de esta disimilitud. Pensamos que es posible encontrar su fundamento en la forma de la obra y en la capacidad del artista para inscribir en esta forma las ideas estéticas

Cutaneous melanoma is a cancer with a very poor prognosis mainly because of metastatic dissemination and therefore a deregulation of cell migration. Current therapies can benefit from complementary medicines as supportive care in oncology. In our study, we show that a dynamized ultra-low dilution of Ruta Graveolens leads to an in vitro inhibition of migration on fibronectin of B16F10 melanoma cells, as well as a decrease in metastatic dissemination in vivo . These effects appear to be due to a disruption of plasma membrane organization, with a change in cell and membrane stiffness, associated with a disorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and a modification of the lipid composition of the plasma membrane. Together, these results demonstrate, in in vitro and in vivo models of cutaneous melanoma, an anti-cancer and anti-metastatic activity of ultra-low dynamized dilution of Ruta graveolens and reinforce its interest as complementary medicine in oncology.

Background: As a consequence of their eco-friendliness, simplicity and non-toxicity, the fabrication of metal and metal oxide nanoparticles using greener chemistry has been a highly attractive research area over the last decade., Aim: In this study focused on the fabrication of silver-Zinc oxide nanocomposite (Ag-ZnO NCs) using Ruta chalepensis leaf extract and evaluating its potential biological activities, against Echinococcus granulosus in an in vitro and in vivo model using BALB/c mice., Methods: In this study, the synthesis of Ag-ZnO NCs was accomplished using local R. chalepensis leaf extracts. The synthesized nanocomposites were identified using UV-Vis, SEM-EDX, XRD, and FTIR. For a short-term assessment of acute toxicity, BALB/c mice were given the prepared NCs orally. Dual sets of mice were also intraperitoneally injected with protoscoleces for secondary echinococcosis infection. Furthermore, a blood compatibility test was carried out on the nanocomposites., Results: The synthesized Ag-ZnO NCs presented a surface plasmon peak at 329 and 422 nm. The XRD, SEM, and EDX confirmed the purity of the Ag-ZnO NCs. The FTIR spectra indicated the formation of Ag-ZnO NCs. Compared to the untreated infected mice, the treated-infected animals displayed an alteration in the appearance of the hepatic hydatid cysts from hyaline to whitish cloudy with a rough surface appearance. Lysis of RBCs at various doses of Ag-ZnONCs was significantly less than the positive contro,., Conclusion: These findings revealed that the Ag-ZnO NCs didn't cause any adverse symptoms and no mortality was observed in all administered groups of mice.
