Religious tolerance is a key value in multicultural societies, and schools are often a suitable place to build understanding and respect for diverse religious beliefs. In the context of education, Islamic Religious Education has an important role in shaping attitudes of tolerance between religious communities. This research aims to develop an effective Islamic Religious Education learning strategy in shaping the character of religious tolerance. This involves curriculum development, teaching methods, and relevant approaches. This study used a qualitative research approach with a phenomenological approach. The methodology of this research involved distributing a prepared questionnaire regarding inter-religious tolerance attitudes in elementary schools. Involving surveys, interviews, observations, documentation, and data analysis then providing a detailed description of the data collected. The steps in conducting research with a phenomenological approach, namely determining the location and individuals, data collection techniques, data recording procedures, field issues, and data storage stages. The results of this study show that (1) the curriculum design integrates tolerance values. (2) educators consistently incorporate teachings about toleration between religious groups into their teaching materials (3) educators serve as role models by symbolizing a tolerant lifestyle, and (4) organize significant religious events and community activities to further promote tolerance.

This study was inspired by a crisis of Islamic values in education that has been getting worse because of a lack of material things, social and cultural issues, and the loss of Islamic values and principles. There are real beliefs and great examples all around us. As a result, the Qur'an, which is the source of all knowledge, provides resources and useful examples for the development of value-based education. Regardless of the structure of the verse, every verse in the Qur'an has an instructive value that can be explored and expanded. Surah al-Humazah is one of the verses in the Quran that highlights the importance of education. This verse is a threat to anyone who harasses others, promotes untruth and unprofitable information, swears, or gathers money. The study of the educational ideals in the Al-Qur'an al-Humazah letters is the subject of this research, which uses qualitative methodology and focuses on the library research style (library research). To contextualize the values of education in al-Humazah's letter, we need to consider the following: The importance of moral education to God as a servant who is always satisfied with the command of his Creator. It is closely related to the significance of moral instruction to each other (humanity), which ensures that life together is always peaceful, safe, enjoyable, and life. As well as having a sense of sympathy and empathy that is a form of social education values towards each other.

Purpose - This study aims to determine the learning rate of Islamic religious education in the new-normal era after the COVID-19 pandemic in the coastal areas of Serang Regency. The constantly growing use of information technology has made most students reluctant to go to school. Design/methods/approach – This study is qualitative research. This research approach is descriptive. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The number of informants in this study included students, teachers, and the community as parents of students. The respondent selection technique used purposive sampling, where the number of informants was 90% of the total sample. Findings - The findings in this study have included the use of a home visit strategy for post-pandemic learning continuity, where most students were reluctant to go to school and many students were contaminated with online games. The home visit method is a real form of visiting students one by one to provide understanding to parents and students about online learning, as well as a form of direct monitoring of the student learning process. Research implications/limitations – This research highlights how the educational process of the new normal era after the COVID-19 pandemic was in the coastal area of Serang Regency. Supposedly, the coastal area is a geographical location far from urban conditions, making the infrastructure aspect still very limited. Originality/value - This study presents the serious impact that occurred in the coastal area of Serang Regency when the learning process took place after the COVID-19 pandemic. Ranging from the personal pick-up strategy to numerous students who were reluctant to go to school to many students who were contaminated by online games.

There have been Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia for as long as there have been schools in general, and they play a crucial role in the country's educational system. The researchers set out to learn how different types of leadership and administration at Islamic boarding schools affect students' level of community interest. With a 2 x 2 factorial experimental design, this study used the ex post facto method, sometimes known as a comparative causal relationship. A questionnaire was employed as the data collection technique for this investigation. Descriptive and inferential statistics were employed to examine the data. Path A two-way ANOVA revealed that Fcount is higher than Ftable (Fcount = 5.81 Ftable (0.05; 1:116) = 3.92), indicating that count variables contributed more to the overall variation in this path than did table variables. For some reason, in Row B, we see that Fcount is larger than Ftable (Fcount = 8.73 Ftable (0.01; 1:116) = 6.86). Larger AB interactions are found using Fcount (Fcount = 140.51 Ftable (0.01; 1:116) = 6.86) when looking at rows A * B. Findings from this research indicate a positive correlation between leadership styles and community interest. Additionally, modern Islamic boarding schools and Salafi Islamic schools have vastly different approaches to administration.
