Nowadays, there is a global search for electromagnetic gadgets that are affordable, eco-friendly, and energyefficient. This motivates engineers and scientists to develop new materials or enhance those that already exist. Fe-based soft magnetic materials are a significant class of soft magnetic materials that are essential to many energy-related industrial applications, including motors, converters, and electric transformers. This article focuses on the general characterization of magnetic materials, their magnetic properties and the analysis of the influence of mechanical milling of Fe powders prepared by mechanical milling in two different sizes (sample 1 - smaller then < 400 µm and sample 2 greater than > 400 µm). The experimentally obtained hysterical curves of ground Fe powders are measured using the Vibratimg Sample Magnetometer (VSM). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the advantages of new technologies and rising demand from customers, it is necessary to improve the manufacturing process. This necessity was recognized by the industry; therefore, the concept of Industry 4.0 has been implemented in various areas of manufacturing and services. The backbone and main aspect of Industry 4.0 is digitalization and the implementation of technologies into processes. While this concept helps manufacturers with the modernization and optimization of many attributes of the processes, Industry 5.0 takes a step further and brings importance to the human factor of industry practice, together with sustainability and resilience. The concept of Industry 5.0 contributes to the idea of creating a sustainable, prosperous, and human-friendly environment within companies. The main focus of the article is to analyze the existing literature regarding what is missing from the successful implementation of human centricity into industry practice, namely in small and medium-sized factories (SMEs). These findings are then presented in the form of requirements and barriers for the implementation of human centricity into SME factories, which can serve as guidelines for implementing human-centered manufacturing using axiomatic design theory in SMEs, which can serve as a roadmap for practitioners. This research focuses on the production process of soft magnetic composites in the form of 3D bulk compacts made from insulated powder particles using different milling parameters, aiming to enhance their magnetic properties and to study an innovative method of the powder surface "smoothing" technique. A structure analysis using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDS, and optical microscopy is also included. We found out that the samples made by the innovative method have lower density values. This can be caused by a more consistent SiO2 insulation layer on highly pure iron powder particles. A correlation between the mechanical smoothing method and better insulation of powder particles can help to provide eco-friendlier solutions for the preparation of soft magnetic composites, such as less usage of reagents and more consistent coverage of powder particles with lower final insulation thickness. The magnetic properties of these compacts are evaluated by coercive field, permeability, and loss measurements. The particle-level smoothing technique in some cases can reduce the value of coercivity up to 20%. For some samples, the ball-to-powder ratio has a bigger impact on magnetic properties than surface treatment, which can be caused by an increased amount of insulation in the SMC compacts.
