This project is intended to prevent car accidents which are one of the major problems in today’s time. Here we are using alcohol sensor (MQ-3) to detect the amount of alcohol consumed by the drive and that data will be processed to give us the driving limit; here a circuit will be connected with in the car that will control the ignition system. This project will give us a base model to implement a security system in every car to prevent drink and drive.

Memory is a basic need of microcontroller and DSP units. As per market demand, electronic devices should be small in size and have better performance in terms of speed, power consumption and stability. One should consider one important factor, i.e. portability, and in this term, battery backup should be considered. In this paper, we have simulated three static random access memory cell five transistors, six transistors and seven transistor SRAM cell on 180 nm technology. The results are extracted on different temperatures.

With an ever-changing lifestyle and eating habits, there comes a new type of disease and viruses. And to keep humans safe from these newfound diseases and viruses, there is a need to discover new medicines and drugs regularly. Though before any drug is released in the market, it must go over a Drug Discovery Lifecycle. In the pharmacology world, it is termed clinical trials. A typical clinical trial phase consists of four phases. Once the drug is approved by the regulatory authorities, it hits the market and doctors start prescribing it. Now the thing with clinical trials is that it is, at max, tested on some thousands of volunteers within a specific geography, gender, age group, etc. Within the pharmaceutical industry, Adverse Event reporting is a critical and time-consuming part of ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines by patients. Pharmacovigilance employees process a growing number of cases from sources as varied as patients’ social media accounts to reports from investigators overseeing clinical trials. Though adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting is a very mature process for traditional channels like clinical trials and customer care reporting, it is largely unexplored for reporting on social networking sites, and hence they tend to be missed out, that is, not reported. With an ever-increasing volume of such safety reports, pharma companies are struggling to keep pace with managing it on a timely basis, and hence there is a huge demand to automate the ADR reporting process. This chapter aims to explore social network reporting of ADRs for a specific drug and build a framework that any pharma company can use in their pursuit of automating the social network reporting of ADRs

Life skill refers to a positive behaviour, that encompasses a mix of knowledge, behaviour, attitude and values and designates the possession of certain skills and know how to do something positively, or reach a goal. Life skills education frame work provides the praxis for addressing the core concerns as well as aspirations of the adolescents and the youth of today's India. Life skills were differing to men to men. Life skills also influence by gender and locality also. A life skill for urban men was different from men living in rural areas. The main objective of present study was to examine the role of gender and geographical location in the effectiveness of Life Skills Education. The study was conducted on 2 urban and 2 rural blocks of Jaipur district. A sample of 200 male and 200 female adolescents studying in government schools of Jaipur District were selected through multistage sampling. The data was collected with the help of LSAS scale. Results indicate that the life skills were improved after the classroom learning of the subject among both boys and girls and urban and rural students. In the beginning of the course all students whether boy and girl belonging to urban and rural background were possessing the similar level of LS or LS's were at the same platform but variations were seen after the formal teaching of LS. But after completion of the subject significant difference was found in both boys and girls students and urban and rural students. But yet girls had better improvements in life skills as compare to boy's students and difference among them was significant but rural and urban students LS's did not show significant difference, hence geographical locality no more remains a constraint in the effectiveness of LSE.

A prospective observational study was conducted for 18 months to analyze the mycological profile of clinically suspected cases of fungal rhinosinusitis requiring endoscopic sinus surgery and test antifungal susceptibility of the isolates according to Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute guidelines. Per-operative biopsies (n = 126) from 106 patients were processed by standard mycological procedures. Out of 126 samples, 59 (46.83 %) had fungal elements on KOH mount examination. Fungal growth was obtained in 76 (60.32 %) samples, of which single fungal organism was isolated in 68 samples and more than one fungal species in eight samples. The most common isolates belonged to the genus Aspergillus (n = 53, A. flavus being most common) followed by mucormycetes (9), Candida species (7), Penicillium species (5), Alternaria species (5), Fusarium species (1), Curvularia species (1) and black yeast (1). Two hyaline septate fungal isolates could not be identified. Aspergillus species were susceptible to amphotericin B (n = 46), itraconazole (n = 48), voriconazole (n = 52), posaconazole (n = 53), caspofungin (n = 51), anidulafungin (n = 53) and micafungin (n = 53). All mucormycetes isolates (n = 9) were susceptible to amphotericin B, posaconazole and itraconazole. Filamentous non-Aspergillus, non-mucormycetes isolates (n = 15) were susceptible to amphotericin B (n = 12), itraconazole (n = 13), voriconazole (n = 15), posaconazole (n = 15) and echinocandins (n = 15). Amongst the 07 Candida species, 05 isolates of Candida tropicalis were susceptible to amphotericin B, posaconazole, echinocandins and 5-flucytosine; one isolate of Candida albicans had the same susceptibility but was resistant to 5-flucytosine also, and one strain of Candida species was susceptible to all the nine antifungal drugs.

Certain factors affect the consumer buying behaviour while purchasing products online. Out of these, some commonness is discussed in the present paper which affects the adoption of online shopping. A simple search with keywords 'online shopping', 'online shopping of apparels and accessories', 'factors affecting online shopping', 'drivers of online shopping' and 'barriers of online shopping' has been done with Google Scholar. Substantial studies have been conducted globally to find out the factors affecting online shopping adoption. Different models and frameworks are available to understand these factors and it is difficult to present all work altogether. Thus, this paper tries to present a comprehensive framework of the relevant literature as barriers to online shopping. All available studies from 'anytime' referred till the date has been included to build a framework of reviews.

Physician supply in the U.S. is again on the national health policy agenda. A central issue in this debate is the availability of physicians willing to work in underserved and disadvantaged communities-an issue closely linked to the number of minority and international medical graduate (IMG) physicians working in the U.S. In California, South Asian IMGs, but not South Asian U.S. medical graduates, are more likely to work in underserved communities. Incorporation of strong policy levers aimed at an equitable geographic distribution of physicians will be critical as the U.S. moves toward greater self-sufficiency of physician supply. More specifically, the authors note the continuing central importance to addressing the needs of medically underserved populations of training physicians from under-represented minority groups (African Americans, American Indians, and Hispanic Americans) in U.S. medical schools.

Birth order plays a substantial role in a child‘s life which leaves a significant impact throughout his life. The first-borns possess a unique position in the family and possess the first choice of niche in the family system. The niche is often reflected as unyielding diligence in an attempt to please their parents. Similarly all children have different life skills according to their birth orders and by their family structures too. The purpose of the study was to examine the impact of Life Skills after studying the subject among students belonging to joint & nuclear family structure and students having different birth orders and to study the difference in Life Skills Education learning on the basis of family structure and birth orders. In the present study the total of 400 students from 16 Government Senior Secondary Schools of Rajasthan were examined. Among them245 students were from joint families and 155 students from nuclear families were assessed. The number of first born students was 183, second 88 and later born was 129. Results showed that there is a significant difference in LS‘s at pretest phase among the adolescent children having different birth order and this difference multiplies after posttest.

Streptomyces organisms are soil inhabitants rarely causing nonmycetomic infections. We describe a case of secondary peritonitis caused by Streptomyces viridis in a chronic alcoholic patient who presented with fever, abdominal distension, and pain in the abdomen. The most likely source of infection was by inoculation through multiple paracenteses, done for treatment of ascites, before the patient came to our health care center. This is the second case report of Streptomyces peritonitis and the first case caused by Streptomyces viridis , which is usually found in the soil in our geographic region.

Adolescence is a critical transitional period between playful childhood and responsible adulthood. Largenumbers of changes in physical, psychological and social domains of life are present at this time. Life skills education can facilitate adolescent‘s practices and reinforcepsychosocial skills in a culturally and developmentally appropriate way; it contributes to the promotion of personal and social development, the prevention of health and social problems, and the protection of human rights in young peoples. Life skills education promotes mental well-being in young people and equips themto face the realities of life. The purpose of the study was to assess the impact of Life Skills Education subject among 11th grade students of Government Senior Secondary School of Jaipur district. Life Skills Education is a compulsory subject offered in eleventh standard; therefore 400 students were randomly selected from 16 Government Senior Secondary School of Jaipur District in Rajasthan. The data was collected by using the Life Skills Assessment Scale (LSAS). Pre-test and post-test method was used for data collection. Results depict that there is a significant difference in LSE in pre and post-test phases. Students‘ scores were better in post-test as compare to pre-test, thus it is concluded that over the period of six months the learners Life Skills were improved. In post-test phase students moved from low scores categories to high scores categories. Maximum improvement was noticed in interpersonal relationship skill and minimum was observed in problem solving skill. Correlation results show that many skills are correlated but yet coping with stress skill needs more individual attention as it does not reflect good correlation.

Linezolid is being increasingly used in the treatment of infections with gram-positive organisms especially methicillin resistant Staphylococcal isolates. Though resistance to this antimicrobial is emerging but it is extremely rare. Here we document first case of linezolid resistant Staphylococcus haemolyticus (S.haemolyticus) from India. This organism was isolated from pus oozing from a postsurgical site in 61 year old male hailing from an adjoining state of Haryana.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to report the first case of Streptococcus bovis causing a perforating corneal ulcer in a healthy adult. Methods Observational case report. Results A healthy 77-year-old man presented with rapidly progressing corneal ulcer, resulting in perforation within 4 days. Preoperative and operative cultures isolated the same organism, S. bovis, susceptible only to vancomycin and ceftriaxone. The patient underwent a successful corneal transplantation, with histopathology revealing full-thickness necrosis and scattered bacteria. Conclusions Although a rare pathogen in ocular infections, we report a case of devastating corneal infection caused by S. bovis and highlight consideration of this pathogen in rapidly progressing corneal ulcers.

Kotler's model of purchase process incorporates five stages that are Need recognition, Information search, Evaluation of alternatives, Purchase decision and Post purchase behavior. Among these, the consumer purchase decision making is more complex and even more important for consumers today than it was in the past. Marketers often seek to learn how and why people shop, this insight helps them to produce and package their products accordingly and be competitive in global terms. To profile an individual's decision style, Sporles and Kendall in 1986 developed a Consumer Style Inventory (CSI), based on the consumer characteristic approach, which focuses on different cognitive dimensions of consumer decision making. They tested it on American female student groups, further retested it, and came out with eight characteristics. Since then, CSI has been extensively tested on consumers of different countries by different researchers. The objective of the paper is to review the different studies conducted since 1986 to 2010 so that further research can get some direction and can contribute significantly to academia and marketers as well. The studies are classified as those conducted in developed countries, countries with emerging economies and those drawing inputs from both. After reviewing the studies, it seems that five characteristics are indispensable to all consumers irrespective of country, gender, age, culture and religion. These are : High quality conscious consumer, Brand conscious price equals quality consumer, Recreational/Hedonistic consumer, Price conscious value for money consumer, and Confused by over choice consumer. Hence, it was concluded that Sproles and Kendall's inventory can be very well used as a basic model.

The present study highlights the performance evaluation of services provided by the Rajasthan Handloom Development Corporation (RHDC), a state government body working for the development of handloom weavers working in clusters in Jaipur District. The sample of the study comprised of senior officials (n = 20) and beneficiaries (n = 320) of RHDC. The results show that the organization is facing a financial crunch, which has adversely affected the growth of the weavers. The cluster approach got crumpled and weavers had to merge into the cooperative fold for their survival. Thus, there is an urgent need to review the performance of the organization and work on certain strategies to develop the organization, so that successful fulfillment of the objectives, i.e. the development of the handloom sector, for which this organization was established, can be done.
