Cities are increasingly focused on building resilience. The literature on urban resilience governance emphasizes the importance of breaking down organizational silos and fostering collaboration between diverse actors. Yet few studies empirically examine whether existing resilience governance networks possess these theorized characteristics. This paper addresses this gap by focusing on flood resilience governance in four major U.S. cities and uses social network analysis to analyze the collaboration structures of organizations involved in resilience building efforts. Drawing on original survey data, results suggest that resilience governance is multi-level, with city, regional, state, and federal government organizations present in all city networks. The networks are also diverse, with nonprofit organizations, private firms, and educational or research institutions prominently featured. While these results are promising in terms of the potential for resilience to diversify participation in decision-making, we also find low levels of network density, meaning that the networks are generally sparsely connected. Cities are developing hazard mitigation plans (HMP) and climate change adaptation plans (CCAP) with the common aim of proactively reducing vulnerability to future hazards. Yet, they are often treated as distinct planning instruments. Some planning scholars have suggested that HMP and CCAP should be integrated since climate change impacts are increasing and communities have limited time and resources. But, it is unclear how synergistic these two planning approaches are in practice. Focusing on flooding as a key climate-related hazard, this study examines planning frameworks and helps to address this gap by exploring HMPs and CCAPs in three US cities at the forefront of flood resilience planning. We analyze the content of standalone HMPs and CCAPs in Boston, MA, and Seattle, WA, and a combined plan in Baltimore, MD to identify overlaps in practice and explore how, and to what extent, HMPs and CCAPs are synergistic. Medical professionals of the modern era have begun incorporating energy healing as one of the supplements to modern medical treatment after noticing its merits. Many studies have been conducted to understand the benefits of these methods when utilized as complementary & alternative medicine (CAM) to modern medicine. Pranic Healing, an energy healing technique, is one such approach. This paper aims to review the existing research on Pranic Healing (PH), and Twin Heart Meditation (MTH) to assess their effectiveness and applicability as adjuvant therapeutic techniques. This paper acknowledges the effectiveness of PH and MTH and makes an effort to respond to the research questions provided. From the review, it could be concluded that Pranic healing can potentially treat various illnesses in the Indian population and among women. It was also found that MTH predicts positive mental health outcomes. Scholars have acknowledged that Mihr Chand, son of Ganga Ram (flourished c. 1759-86) is one of the finest artists to have flourished in the Mughal province of Awadh, at Faizabad and Lucknow, during the second half of the eighteenth century. Whilst it has been known that Mihr Chand received patronage from the British East India Company officer Antoine Polier (1741-95) and that the majority of his known works have been identified within the Polier-Hamilton collection at the Museum for Islamic Art in Berlin, very little investigative research has been undertaken that would identify the artist's career path and deconstruct his painterly style. Through comparative analysis of the collections amassed by Antoine Polier and his contemporaries, new information has come to light which identifies Mihr Chand's source material that inspired six of his oeuvres in the Polier-Hamilton albums.
