Resumen Fundamentos El cuidado de personas dependientes se ha incrementado, por lo que las reformas del sistema sanitario estan visibilizando a las personas cuidadoras. Se desarrollo un plan funcional para personas cuidadoras en hospitalizacion, y esta investigacion pretende indagar como ha sido su implementacion, identificando puntos fuertes y debiles que promuevan cambios entre el sistema formal e informal. Metodos Se diseno un estudio cualitativo, considerando como sujetos de estudio a los profesionales de enfermeria y personas cuidadoras identificadas en el Hospital. Se utilizo la tecnica de grupo focal seleccionando 8 personas en cada segmento. Se elaboraron 2 guiones de preguntas con los criterios de evaluacion recogidos en las lineas estrategicas del plan: identificacion/captacion, acogida, descanso, dieta, atencion sanitaria, informacion/educacion sanitaria, gestion e implementacion y otras propuestas. Los datos se recogieron durante mayo de 2011. Resultados Se encontraron dificultades en la identificacion y captacion de las personas cuidadoras, por no realizar su valoracion inicial. En cuanto a la acogida, en algunos casos no se entregaba folleto informativo. El descanso no es posible por la renuncia a alejarse de su familiar. La dieta es la principal causa del conflicto y destaca la falta de educacion sanitaria para continuar con los cuidados domiciliarios. Se valoran positivamente los circuitos de atencion preferente en urgencias. Los profesionales de enfermeria consideran que el desarrollo del plan supone una sobrecarga de trabajo. Conclusiones Los puntos fuertes y debiles identificados permitiran establecer mejoras en la implementacion del plan para conseguir el cambio en aspectos especificos como la informacion/educacion, atencion, descanso y dieta de la persona cuidadora. Destacamos la necesidad de potenciar el cambio de modelo.

Taking into account the broad biological activities found in the meridianin indole alkaloids isolated to date, we have re-examined the organic extracts of an Antarctic collection of the tunicates Aplidium meridianum and A. falklandicum (Chordata: Ascidiacea) by HPLC in conjunction with a high-resolution mass spectrometer (HPLC-MS). A new set of analogs of meridianins A-G has been detected, and their structures are proposed on the basis of the molecular formulae identified by LC-HRMS analysis using a C18 column with a gradient of water/acetonitrile and an LTQ-FT-MS Orbitrap detector. Remarkably, dimers derived from meridianin A and from meridianin B or E were also detected. Our findings provide further evidence of the broad variability within the meridianin-like derivatives of this highly bioactive alkaloid family.

L'utilisation des especes sauvages en amelioration vegetale implique de connaitre leur variabilite genetique et leurs relations taxonomiques. Une etude a ete realisee sur la variabilite genetique de quinze populations de E. caninus et E. hispanicus. Les relations entre ces especes et E. panormitanus ont ete ainsi examinees. La variation intra- et interpopulation a ete determinee par electrophorese des proteines de reserve. Les polymorphismes d'ADN generes par amplification PCR a l'aide d'amorces aleatoires et specifiques ont ete utilises pour determiner la variabilite intraspecifique et les relations interspecifiques. On a observe une variabilite similaire a celle decrite pour d'autres especes autogames. Dans quelques populations de E. caninus, on a observe une reduction de la variabilite qui peut etre attribuee a un eloignement du centre de distribution de cette espece ainsi qu'a un effet de fondation. Les proteines de reserve et l'ADN polymorphe amplifie aleatoirement (RAPD) apportent des resultats complementaires et differencient la plupart des populations de E. caninus. Les relations interspecifiques observees sont concordantes avec la classification de E. hispanicus comme espece differente de E. panormitanus et non comme une forme variante du meme taxon.

La quantification de la variabilite des especes sauvages est un pas necessaire avant leur possible utilisation dans l'amelioration vegetale. Une collection de 29 populations sauvages espagnoles des genres Elymus et Thinopyrum a ete caracterisee a l'aide de 22 caracteres morphologiques et agronomiques, Les etudes en champ ont ete realisees pendant deux annees, 1994 et 1995. Les frequences ont ete calculees pour les caracteres qualitatifs et quantitatifs. Le coefficient de la correlation produit-moment de Pearson a ete utilise pour analyser la variation interpopulationnelle, a partir des donnees des frequences. Les moyennes et les coefficients de variation ont ete calcules pour les caracteristiques quantitatives. L'analyse de la variance dans chaque espece a permis d'etudier les differences entre la variabilite intra et interpopulationnelle. Des niveaux semblables de variabilite ont ete observes entre caracteres quantitatifs et qualitatifs dans toutes les especes etudiees. Des differences de variabilite ont ete trouvees au niveau des especes et de la population. Les relations entre ces differences et des facteurs biologiques et de l'environnement sont discutes.

The care of dependent persons has increased, as such that healthcare reforms are taking caregivers into account. A functional plan in hospitalization was developed for caregivers, and his study aims to investigate its implementation, identifying the strengths and weaknesses that promote changes between the formal and informal system.A qualitative study was designed, using nursing professionals and caregivers identified in the hospital as subjects. A focus group technique was used with 8 people selected for each segment. Two scripts were developed with questions on the evaluation criteria included in the plan: identification/recruitment, reception, rest, diet, health care, information/health education, management and implementation of the plan and other proposals. The data were collected during May 2011.Difficulties were encountered in identifying caregivers, as an initial evaluation was not made. As regards the reception, in some cases the information brochure was not given. Rest was not possible as the caregivers did not want to move away from the patient. Diet was the main cause of the conflict, highlighting the lack of health education to continue in home care. Circuits of preferential care in emergency were positively valuated. Nurses consider the plan as an extra task.The strengths and weaknesses identified should enable improvements to be made in the implementation of the plan, in order to achieve changes in specific aspects such as information/education, health, rest and diet of the caregivers. We emphasize the need to enhance the model change.

Histone H4 has been isolated, in a pure form, from Ceratitis capitata pharate adults. Its molecular weight is very similar to that of calf thymus H4 histone. The N-terminal residue is blocked and its amino acid composition is similar to that of homologous histones. Four peptides have been isolated from the Ceratitis capitata histone H4, and characterized. Suggestions are made about possible regions in the total sequence which gave rise to them.
