- Abstract

- Abstract
For a version translated in Dutch please see:Rapport Open Consultatie NPOS2030 Ambitiedocument DOI:https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6280685 For the underlying dataset please see:https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6343120 An online Open Consultation, that was open between November 22nd and December 22nd,2021,aimed to give all Netherlands stakeholders the opportunity to reflect on the NPOS2030 Ambition Document of the Netherlands National Programme Open Science (NPOS). NPOS aims to coordinate the transition to Open Science in the Netherlands, bringing together national stakeholdersin the Netherlands. The NPOS Ambition Document will form the first chapters of the new NPOS2030 Programme Description. This report aims to analyse the response to the Open Consultation onthe Draft NPOS 2030 Ambition Document. It responds to three key questions: 1. What is the support for the NPOS 2030 Ambition Document? 2. What did respondents suggest to improve regarding the four elements in the NPOS 2030? 3. What do respondents advise to onboard in the draft Rolling Agenda of NPOS 2030? The feedback received in this consultation helps the NPOS Steering Board and the Programme Line Leads to start filling in actions for each of their Key Lines of Action for the coming years, thus creating a rolling agenda for the NPOS Programme for the next decade.

- Abstract
SSHOC Thematic cluster project [2019-2022] has built a strong and recognisable brand around a consortium of 6 well-established ESFRIs, 7 onboarded Social Science and Humanities (SSH) data communities, an SSH Open Marketplace testers’ community and an SSH Training Community actively breaking down the silos through the sharing of knowledge, tools and services with significant potential for further capacity-building as an important building block for EOSC. Through a solid and continued outreach programme it has engaged over 5000 stakeholders in 65+ events organised, with a social media community of 2200+ members, and 470 newsletter subscribers. Niche scientific communities have been supported by providing 6 additional targeted training events offering a valuable platform to support the onboarding of new communities to present themselves as well as to connect their members from all over the world. The SSHOC website acts as a main communication channel and is the gateway to its array of services including the SSH catalogue of services, connecting its 60+ official reports to each single Key Exploitable Result (KERs) actively consulted by the SSH community (i.e. the System Specification of the SSH Open Marketplace has been downloaded over 4300 times). With the release in December 2021 of the EU Data Governance Act, SSHOC pursues the regulations around the guiding principles of the act to support a Data Science ecosystem in the area of SSH.

ESFRI ,Research infrastructure ,Science cluster ,European Open Science Cloud - Abstract
THE SCIENCE CLUSTERS are EU collaborative projects that were launched in 2019 to link ESFRI and other world-class Research Infrastructures (RIs) to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). The main impacts of the Science Clusters’ work programme concern: the improved access of researchers to data, tools and resources, leading to new insights and innovation for data-driven science both within and beyond the context of the domains in which the clusters are rooted; the creation of a cross-border open innovation environment for FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) data management for economies of scale, to develop synergies and rise the efficiency and productivity of researchers through open-science standards and thematic services; the enhanced co-developments to foster the cross-domain interoperability central to the EOSC goal. The Science Clusters are an integral part of EOSC. Their services and outcomes are now forming the core of the emerging EOSC fabric. As important partners of EOSC, Science Clusters contribute to its development and its implementation process. Importantly, the Science Clusters form a natural collaboration between the ESFRI RIs’ management boards partners in the clusters. As EOSC matures and begins delivering data and services for European research, a discussion is needed to stimulate the Open Science practices, cross-domain interoperability and long-term coordination of the scientific communities covered by the five Science Clusters. This position paper contributes formally to explain the urgent need of EC to support a longer-term role of the five Science Clusters to provide content to the EOSC, to enhance researchers’ involvement in Open Science and to suggest potential cooperative pathways in the Horizon-Europe framework and along with the EOSC Association roadmap. This paper is aimed at highlighting: Expectations of the clusters and the concerned research communities, pointing out a common structured vision and a series of suggestions for the future. A more detailed analysis from each cluster, that is provided for completeness.

- Abstract
Agile development of the SSH Open Marketplace: User Workshop - International Conference on ICT enhanced Social Sciences and Humanities 2020 (ICTeSSH 2020) The SSH Open Marketplace has been in development for over a year now. A preference for the agile approach and UX best practicemeans we’ve involved end users as much as possible up to this point via workshops, interviews, brainstorming sessions and prioritisation meetings. When we release the alpha version in June 2020, we’ll want yet more user feedback and engagement. And that's what this workshop is about. We've arranged a two hour slot during the proceedings of theICTeSSH 2020 Conference(now to be held online). In that time we'll be looking to: Raise awareness of how the SSH Open Marketplace can help researchers in their daily activities and supplement the existing EOSC services Collect feedback from theSSH research community on the functionality and content of the SSH Open Marketplace

The Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) is a distributed research infrastructure in the social sciences domain. CESSDA has been on the ESFRI Roadmap since 2006 and as an ESFRI Landmark since 2016. As of June 2017, CESSDA is an ERIC – a European Research Infrastructure Consortium – a European legal entity. This strategy covers the period 2018-2022 and should complete the transition from starting up the ERIC in 2017, towards a mature high-quality social science infrastructure, well embedded in the European Open Science Cloud, with CESSDA’s Service Providers performing as trusted repositories, and heavily used by researchers and professionals in their roles of data producers and data users.
