#Publicidad Requerimientos de sistema: Adobe Acrobat Reader This research aims to make a methodological approach to the phenomenon of androgyny and its influence on the processes of advertising communication, as well as the way in which the aesthetic of the androgynous has been appropriated in the advertising industry. In light of a current trend of brands to adopt new aesthetic parameters, the androgynous aesthetic and its influence on different social, economic, visual and, especially, advertising aspects are reviewed and investigated. For this, a non-probabilistic sample was defined by conglomerates (5) belonging to disciplines that impact advertising communication with inclusion criteria selected at the convenience of the researcher and semi-structured interviews.

ELABORATION likelihood model , *INTENTION , *CONSUMER preferences , *ENVIRONMENTAL protection , *FACTORIAL experiment designs , *SUSTAINABLE consumption , *CONSUMER attitudes , *SOCIAL norms - Abstract
In the last decades companies in the world have innovated in the generation of environmentally friendly products. The cosmetic industry has been making inroads in the offer of products that promote the care and protection of health and the environment. To promote these products, persuasive messages are usually used, which link the use of social norms as a mechanism to positively influence consumers, mostly women. This study seeks to analyze persuasive message of graphic and audiovisual advertising on purchase intention of natural cosmetics among women in Bogota (Colombia), considering persuasive strategies from central and peripheral routes proposed in the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) and from use of social norms. For this purpose, a 2x2x3 factorial experiment was conducted with 216 women. The findings showed higher purchase intentions for cosmetics when using emotional audiovisual messages combined with appeals to subjective norms. Purchase intentions were found to be more evident when using advertising that linked the peripheral route of persuasion, in an audiovisual medium and using subjective norms. The results suggest that messages constructed to motivate green consumption increase their effectiveness if they are designed with arguments that appeal to normative monitoring and if the appropriate medium is selected. It is concluded that persuasive messages and the dissemination medium are factors that impact consumer attitudes towards the preference and use of pro-environmental cosmetic products. A bistable image admits two possible interpretations, so that the observer can recognize the two percepts, but never at the same time. The alternations between percepts are called “perceptual reversals”. When the observer's position is different from the upright position, the ability to make perceptual alternations may be impaired. Besides, the recognition of the percepts of a bistable image can be a complex reaction time visual task, if it involves recognizing two different conceptual units, added to the fact of having to make a subsequent report. A visual task was performed by 88 people in order to establish whether the perception of Boring’s bistable image My girlfriend or my mother-in-law is associated with areas that condition its interpretation. It was assumed that decoding the image and reporting the perceived percept implied a complex reaction time. The task itself was done in front of a fixed 120 Hz eye-tracker, in two opposite body positions. Analyses were made reviewing the association of the percepts with bottom-up modulation areas of the image, and considering ocular fixations made 200 and 250 milliseconds before the time of the report. The records of these fixations were obtained so as to establish which of the two reaction times (200 ms or 250 ms) was involved in the bottom-up modulation process from the moment of ocular fixation to the reports given by the participants. It was concluded that perceptual reversals decrease significantly when head idiotropic axis points in the gravity vector direction, in comparison to the upright position. Likewise, associations between visual percepts and bottom-up modulating areas of the image were found when analyses were done by considering ocular fixations made 250 ms before the moment of the report. Interpreting Boring’s bistable image implies a complex visual task in accordance with the results obtained.

DIVERGENT thinking , *COGNITIVE flexibility , *COGNITION , *CREATIVE ability , *POSSIBILITY - Abstract
The purpose of this article was to examine the relations that exist between bistable perception and divergent thinking, taking as a reference that flexibility emerges in both mechanisms, perceptually or cognitively. To achieve the objective, a literary review was carried out using six databases. The keywords used were: bistable perception, perceptual reversals, insight, creative cognition, creative flexibility, perceptual flexibility. 19 articles on the relationship between bistable perception, flexibility and creativity were found. 44 studies regarding both bistable perception and the mechanisms that are involved while cognitive flexibility emerges were considered. 2 reviews on bistable perception were also included. 6 articles related to creativity as a cognitive phenomenon were collated, plus another 3 on perceptual processes. After having made the analysis, it is concluded that the modulating mechanisms of bistable perception have a possibility of being incorporated to develop creativity from perceptual reconfiguration processes that involve flexibility mechanisms. - Abstract
The visual contamination is defined as a perceptual effect composed of disorder and excess of images within the visual field. This study was aimed at establishing visual load levels manifested in 13 urban landscapes of Bogotá City (Colombia). We wanted to establish levels of association between the different variables that contribute to visual load indexes (ViLI), as well as the difference that exists between the visual contamination detected in two different planes of the visual field (one lower and one higher) in relation to the observers´vertical visual horopter. 130 people participated in the study. To define the levels of visual load, the reticulum tracing methodology was implemented on photographs that emulate the arrangement of visual stimuli into the retinal image. It is concluded that the visual load is greater when the objects are at the level or below 15 ° in the visual field.

Bistable images have the possibility of being perceived in two different ways. Due to their physical characteristics, these visual stimuli allow two different perceptions, associated with top-down and bottom-up modulating processes. Based on an extensive literature review, the present article aims to gather the conceptual models and the foundations of perceptual bistability. This theoretical article compiles not only notions that are intertwined with the understanding of this perceptual phenomenon, but also the diverse classification and uses of bistable images in psychological research, along with a detailed explanation of the neural correlates that are involved in perceptual reversibility. We conclude that the use of bistable images as a paradigmatic resource in psychological research might be extensive. In addition, due to their characteristics, visual bistable stimuli have the potential to be implemented as a resource in experimental tasks that seek to understand diverse concerns linked essentially to attention, sensory, perceptual and memory processes. STANDING position , *AUDITORY perception , *POSTURE - Abstract
Introduction: Multisensory audiovisual semantic congruency is the process by which visual information is perceived as integrated to auditory stimuli, because both coincide in terms of simultaneity and semantic correspondence. This study was aimed at establishing whether visual percepts, which semantically correspond to auditory stimuli, are associated with ocular fixations in modulating bottom-up areas while keeping a body posture alignment between the up-direction and the idiotropic axes, as well as in another orientation corresponding to a vectorial opposition between the up-direction and the head idiotropic axis. Method: Two groups (one for each position) were selected from a sample of 88 people. A bistable image was presented on a screen of a fixed 120 Hz eye-tracker device, providing background auditory stimuli so as to establish semantic congruencies and their relations to ocular fixations. Results: It was found that audiovisual semantic congruency is associated with fixations when idiotropic vectors are aligned with the up direction. Fixations manifested in bottom-up modulating areas are not associated with multisensory audiovisual semantic congruency when the head idiotropic vector is parallel with the gravity vector. Eye fixations decrease significantly if the head idiotropic axis is aligned with the gravity vector. Conclusion: It is concluded that body position can affect visual perceptual processes involved in the occurrence of semantic congruency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper shows the results of a study carried out in Cartagena de Indias- Colombia during the months of January, February and March of 2018, which aimed to know people´s perception about communication of the cultural heritage in this city. It was evidenced the need to link education strategies with communication actions focused on the citizenship´s behavior. In terms of campaign issues or central elements of persuasion, communication actions are centered on the notion of the city and the meaning of living the cultural experience. - Abstract
In addition, due to their characteristics, visual bistable stimuli have the potential to be implemented as a resource in experimental tasks that seek to understand diverse concerns linked essentially to attention, sensory, perceptual and memory processes., Las imágenes biestables tienen la posibilidad de ser interpretadas de dos maneras diferentes.

Introduction: The development of malignancies is a problem associated with HIV infection. There were 67 (52%) NADN and 62 (48%) ADN; NADN patients had a longer story of HIV infection and longer exposure to HAART, better level of immunodeficiency and better virological control than ADN patients. Four patients developed a second malignancy. Overall survival was 34.7%. Conclusions: We found an increased incidence of NADN, appearing in patients with better virological and immunological control than ADN group. Mortality of patients with HIV infection and malignancy is still very high.

37. Pressure as a stress factor in the advertising work environment

- Abstract
The working pressure is seen as a potential stress factor. The productivity of individuals can be affected depending on how they assess whether a particular task is urgent or not. This review is mediated by both the individual's self-confidence as well as the serious and conscious recognition of their skills. The autotelic work, touchstone of the theory of flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi implies the absence of stress and delight to work, produce and create. This ideal state (psychic negentropy) is easily upset when stress factors in the environment such as work overload, short deadlines for turning in assignments and the latent threat of being fired from work appear. Psychosocial phenomena such as situational and instrumental heteronym and uncontrolled situations contribute to the configuration of stress, the latter can lead to psychological states such as frustration or anxiety. As evidenced by an investigation by the Advertising Program at the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano, the pressure does not always have a positive effect on creative work and can often increase experiencing anxiety, especially when the challenges are of greater complexity. However, while there is confidence and skills are according to the labor challenge, the individual may improve performance, allowing to set the state of flow of autotelism. The results were obtained by applying daily surveys of experiences, focus groups and depth interviews., La presión laboral es entendida como un potencial factor generador de estrés.

- Abstract

- Abstract
Work pressure is seen as a potential factor that generates stress. The productivity of individuals can be affected depending on whether they think a particular task is urgent or not. This appraisal is mediated by the individual's self-confidence, as well as their serious and conscious recognition of their skills. The autotelic work, bulwark of the theory of flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, involves absence of stress and delight to work, produce and create. That state of wellbeing (psychic negentropy) is easily affected when stressors such as work overload, short deadlines to carry out assignments, and threat of being fired from work, appear in the work place. Psychosocial phenomena such as instrumental heteronymy and situational decontrol, contribute to stress creation. Thus, stress can derive to psychological states such as frustration or anxiety. Research conducted at the Advertising Program of Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, showed that pressure does not always affect positively creative work. Pressure can often increase anxiety experience, especially when the challenges are more complex. Nevertheless, if there is self-confidence and there are skills that correspond to a particular challenge, an individual can improve their performance, allowing to configure the flow state of autotelism. The results were obtained through surveys, experience journals, group sessions, and in-depth interviews. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The research that is outlined here did tests the metal maps on a group of students. Methodologically the study appealed to a semi-experimental design within groups, with the intention to establish if by using mental maps people's level of originality and efficacy as to the ideas that came from creative processes were higher than those who didn't use mental maps. The researchers obtained a total of 64 ides, 32 came from the use of mental maps and the other 32 came from processes that did not involve mental maps at all. In order to compare the study the evaluation qualified the originality and assertiveness by means of a semantic differential that allowed to statistically value the scores given to each of the ideas that came from the students subject to the tests. The proposed hypothesis leading towards the idea that mental maps would enhance the students' originality was confirmed, yet not a second hypothesis that suggested that with the use of mental maps the level of efficacy would be higher. Regardless, depending on the type f mental map used, efficacy may not be reduced while the originality is sure to be enhanced while using any type of mental map. Such maps, if used adequately promotes diverging though processes in students, spontaneous flexibility, flat hierarchies and creativity in general. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
