Junta de Andalucía - Consejería de Economía y Conocimiento Proyecto B-SEJ-135-UGR18)., El objetivo principal de esta tesis doctoral es dar respuesta a las cuestiones que aún quedan por resolver en la literatura, planteando que el humor subversivo contra el sexismo constituye empíricamente un tipo de humor independiente y diferente a otros tipos de humor, como el humor de denigración del hombre o el humor sexista. Asimismo, dadas las lagunas que existen sobre cómo se interpreta este tipo de humor y las implicaciones de su interpretación, nos propusimos estudiar su apreciación e interpretación a partir de las actitudes de quienes son expuestos/as a él. Por último, analizamos si el humor subversivo contra el sexismo podría contribuir a la confrontación del sexismo (Case y Lippard, 2009; Strain et al., 2016, Willett et al., 2012) y si en última instancia, esta confrontación podría llegar incluso a la participación en acciones colectivas que buscan la igualdad de género (p.ej., Guizzo et al., 2017)., The main objective of this doctoral thesis is to answer the questions that have yet to be resolved in past literature and studies, stating that subversive humor against sexism empirically constitutes a unique type of humor that is independent and different from other types of humor, such as from man disparagement humor or from sexist humor. Likewise, given the gaps that exist on how this type of humor is interpreted and the implications of its current interpretation, we set out to study its appreciation and interpretation based on the attitudes of those who are exposed to it. Finally, we'll set out to analyze whether subversive humor against sexism could in actual fact be used to confront sexism (Case & Lippard, 2009; Strain et al., 2016, Willett et al., 2012) and if ultimately, this confrontation could even play a role in collective actions that seek gender equality (e.g., Guizzo et al., 2017)., Tesis Univ. En este trabajo se investigaron las variables de diseño y los parámetros operacionales en el proceso de adsorción de compuestos orgánicos volátiles clorados (COVs-Cl) utilizando zeolita natural modificada con metales de transición (ZMt). Se establecieron los niveles de las variables de diseño: temperatura de desgasificación [350 550 OC], tipo de metal de transición [Fe, Mn, Ag, Co, Cu, Ni], concentración del metal depositado [0,05; 0,1 M], método de deposición del metal [impregnación, intercambio iónico], posttratamiento del metal depositado [desgasificación con Ar, calcinación con O2, reducción con H2], y como parámetros operacionales: tipo de COVs-Cl [percloroetileno, clorobenceno], concentración de COVs-Cl [1,5; 9,5 μmol dm-3], temperatura de adsorción [20; 100 OC], flujo volumétrico de COVs-Cl [50; 100 cm³ min-1], masa de ZMt [0,15; 0,3 g]. Se utilizó el diseño de experimento D-Optimal, con el que el número de experimentos a realizar fue reducido de 2.048 a 139. Los experimentos de adsorción se llevaron a cabo en un adsorbedor de lecho fijo, siguiendo la concentración del COVs-Cl por cromatografía de gases. Los resultados experimentales se ajustaron a un modelo de regresión lineal de segundo orden. El análisis de varianza (ANOVA) demostró que el modelo ajustado es altamente significativo y con una satisfactoria bondad de ajuste. Los resultados del ANOVA también indicaron que entre las variables significativas, las zeolitas intercambiadas con Fe y Cu tienen un efecto positivo en la capacidad de adsorción de la ZMt. La concentración de COVs-Cl y temperatura de adsorción muestran la mayor influencia en la eliminación de COVs-Cl entre las variables de operación estudiadas. In this work, design variables and operating conditions in the adsorption of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (Cl-VOCs) using transition metal-modified natural zeolites (ZMt) are investigated. The levels of design variables are established: out-gassing temperature [350 °C, 550 °C], type of transition metal [Fe, Mn, Ag, Co, Cu, Ni], concentration of transition metal [0.05; 0.1 M], metal deposition method [impregnation, ion exchange], post-treatment of the deposited metal [calcination under O2flow, reduction under H2flow], whereas among operating parameters, the type of VOC-Cl [perchlorethylene, chlorobenzene], concentration of Cl-VOCs [1.5; 9.5 μmole dm-3], adsorption temperature [20; 100 °C], volumetric flow of Cl-VOCs [50; 100 cm³ min-1], mass of ZMt [0.15; 0.3 g] are chosen. D-Optimal design of experiment is used, and the number of experiments are reduced from 2.048 to 139. Adsorption experiments were carried out in a quartz U-shapedfixed bed adsorber, and the concentration of Cl-VOC was followed by gas chromatography. Experimental results are fitted to a second-order polynomial model. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) shows that the adjusted model is highly significant, with a satisfactory goodness of fit. ANOVA results also indicate that among the significant variables, modified zeolite samples by ion exchange using Fe or Cu increase the adsorption capacity toward Cl-VOC. The concentration of Cl-VOCs and the adsorption temperature show the biggest influence on the removal of Cl-VOCs, among all the studied operating variables.

There is a growing consensus that it is difficult to pick instruments that perfectly satisfy the exclusion restriction. Drawing on results from Berkowitz, Caner, and Fang (2012, Journal of Econometrics 166: 255–266), we provide in this article a nontechnical summary of how valid inferences can be made when instrumental variables come close to satisfying the exclusion restriction. Although the Anderson–Rubin (1949, Annals of Mathematical Statistics 20: 46–63) test statistic is robust to weak identification, it assumes that the instruments are perfectly orthogonal to the structural error term and is therefore oversized under mild violations of the orthogonality condition. The fractionally resampled Anderson–Rubin (FAR) test is a modification of the Anderson–Rubin test that accounts for violations of the orthogonality condition. We show that in small samples, the size of the resampling block of the FAR test can be modified to obtain valid critical values and analyze its size and power properties. We focus on power and not on size-adjusted power because the FAR test uses only one critical value in its application. We also describe user-written commands to implement the Anderson–Rubin and FAR tests in Stata.
