The synthesis and isolation of these complexes have been carried out via a crystallization technique and the diffraction analysis results reveal that the complexes form isotypic solid-state structures.

Results indicate that after the treatment with lithium diisopropylamide and benzaldehyde this compound underwent Michael cyclization-aldol tandem reaction in producing endo-alpha,beta-unsaturated bisphosphine oxides.

Research has been conducted on the 2,3-cis/trans pairs of 2,3-disubstituted aziridines. The stabilities of these compounds investigated theoretically via molecular orbital calculations and the role of the functional group on the aziridine ring's nitrogen atom are discussed.

The results of the dirhodium tetracarboxylate catalyzed decomposition of these compounds carried out in the presence of N-phenoxycarbonyl protected 1,2-dihydropyridines or 1-methyl-2-pyridones in producing 6-azabicyclo[3.2.2]nonane ring system are reported.

Research has been conducted on the carbenolide backbone. The synthesis of this backbone has been carried out via anionic polycyclization and its demonstrated that the resulting tricyclic alpha-bromoketones are excellent enolate precursors.

Research has been conducted on Mo (sub)7 O (sub)16 (O (sub)3 PCH (sub)2 PO (sub)3) (sub)3] (super)8- compounds with diphosphono-polyoxometalate anions and diprotonated ethylenediamine and piperazine countercations. The hydrothermal synthesis of these compounds has been carried out and the results indicate that the compounds are diamagnetic.

Research has been conducted on the sebastianines A and B, alkaloids from the ascidian Cystodytes dellechiajei. The structure of these alkaloids has been investigated via the use of spectrum analysis and the results indicate that existence of the ring system for both compounds.
