The objective of this study is to ascertain the strategies employed in mitigating fraudulent activities within the realm of health services through the utilization of a whistleblowing mechanism. Methods: The present study employed a systematic review approach to examine relevant literature by utilizing specific keywords such as "whistleblowing system" and "fraud Healthcare." These keywords were then used to search for publications in the Scopus database, focusing on journals that mostly relied on secondary data. The search was conducted using the publish or perish tool. 8. Subsequently, a curation of scholarly publications and articles was conducted, employing a criterion centered on the thematic relevance of their titles. The selected publications have the objective of mitigating fraudulent activities within the healthcare industry and other interconnected industries that contribute to research endeavors. The findings of this study suggest that the implementation of a fraud reporting system is vital inside an organization, particularly within the context of health services. To enhance the caliber of healthcare services, internal healthcare staff and participants may report well, it is imperative to establish a system that ensures the preservation of reporter confidentiality, hence facilitating an increase in the volume of reports.

This study presents a comprehensive analysis using the finite element method (FEM) to examine and evaluate the behavior of fuel carrier ship structure. Sandwich panels are effective structures for use in ship structures due to their lightweight yet robust nature. Sandwich panels used in ship structures have various core shapes, such as hexagonal, circular, and square, as needed. The sandwich panel structure can be widely implemented in ship construction, for example, on the deck, hull, and bulkhead of the ship’s cabin. Hydrogen is an alternative fuel that can replace fossil fuels. In this modern era, hydrogen is high valuable energy commodity, so accidents involving carrier ships could have significant consequences. Hydrogen is produced from liquefied natural gas (LNG), so if a leak occurs, for instance, in a storage tank or fuel tank, it has the potential to lead to accidents such as fires. Corrosion is a significant concern for the maritime industry, as it can jeopardize the structural integrity of these vessels and pose substantial safety and environmental risks. In this research, FEM was utilized to model and simulate the effects of corrosion on hydrogen carrier ships when exposed to fire, considering various environmental and operational factors. Through a systematic investigation, it is aimed to gain insights into the impact of corrosion on ship structural components during fires, such as hulls and storage tanks. The result of this study will contribute to improving corrosion and fire mitigation strategies, ensuring the safety and longevity of hydrogen and LNG carrier ships, and supporting the sustainable transportation of hydrogen to meet global energy demands. No research has been conducted on the structural behavior resulting from hydrogen fires and corrosion simultaneously. To achieve this, it is assumed to use the corrosion properties of steel in heavily traveled ship routes such as the Panama Canal Zone, Barent Sea, North Sea, and Suez Canal Zone. This study utilized an approach by modeling corrosion using shell thickness in Abaqus Quasi-Static and applying boundary conditions in the form of temperature increase up to 800°C and subsequent cooling back to the initial temperature. At the maximum temperature, the most significant mid-span displacement occurred in the circular core sandwich panel, with a value of 4 mm. The axial force in the structure was inversely proportional to the mid-span displacement. In the case of the circular core sandwich panel, the axial force was 96 kN. The most resilient core type was hexagonal because it experiences the least deformation when compared to circular and square cores.

This research aims to describe the construction of identity and reality in the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie. The main data source for this research is the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie the method use is qualitative analysis using literature study as a data collection technique. The theory used is Jacques Derrida’s theory of deconstruction. The results of the research show that there is a construction of identity and reality in the character Saidi in the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie the identity presented by the main character in the novel Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie is the existence of a women’s soul that resides in a Saidi who is actually a man and the reality that exists in every event that comes to Saidi as a women with a soul and a bissu. Saidi, who was initially the object of insults, calabai, which was considered a disaster, was actually the opposite of the reality experienced by Saidi in Segeri. It never crossed his mind that a man with a woman’s soul would become the person modt respected and respected by others.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis ikon, indeks, dan simbol yang muncul dalam film Penyalin Cahaya yang disutradarai Wregas Bhanuteja. Sekitar 34% penduduk Aceh dari jumlah total angkatan kerja sebanyak 2.487.426 merupakan para pekerja pada sektor pertanian terutama pada sektor tanaman dan bahan makanan. Pada tahun 2022 produksi sayur-sayuran di Aceh sering mengalami fluktuasi yang mencapai 6,97% sehingga berdampak besar pada tingkat inflasi dan membebani daya beli masyarakat. Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi berbasis aplikasi dapat menjadi satu solusi mengatasi masalah inflasi dan fluktuasi harga sayur-sayuran. Aplikasi Petani Aceh Smart (PAS) dirancang bertujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan dan membantu petani dalam mendapatkan data dan informasi dalam pengambilan keputusan tentang waktu tanam yang tepat, jenis tanaman yang cocok berdasarkan prediksi cuaca dan harga lokal. Analisis user experience dan user interface (UI/UX) merupakan tahapan awal yang perlu didapatkan dari pengguna sebelum aplikasi dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix method yang merupakan kombinasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 orang yang terdiri dari 10 orang penyuluh, 5 orang pemerintah dan 15 orang petani dari jumlah populasi masyarakat yang berprofesi petani dan pemerintah yang bekerja di dinas pangan Aceh. Metode Human Centered Design (HCD) digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna berdasarkan analisis UI/UX. Prototype yang telah dihasilkan kemudian dilakukan pengukuran tingkat usability menggunakan user experience questionnaire (UEQ). Hasil analisis data dalam skala nilai, pengukuran usability prototype aplikasi PAS didapatkan hasil dengan baik dilihat dari kebutuhan pengguna. Pada aspek analisis usability didapatkan nilai attractiveness 1,88 (excellent), perspicuity 1.59 (above average), efficiency 1,85 (good), dependability 1,68 (good), stimulation 1,73 (excellent) dan novelty 1.58 (good). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penggunaan metode HCD pada rancangan UI/UX dan pengukuran tingkat usability dapat menjadi acuan bagi para desainer dan pengembang aplikasi untuk melihat kebutuhan pengguna aplikasi PAS

The paper presents finite element (FE) simulations of an unstiffened plate specimen punched by a rigid indenter, to study their fracture behaviors and energy dissipation mechanisms. Load-displacement curves from the numerical results are presented for various indenter radii i.e., 35, 50, 65, 80, and 95 mm. Moreover, the outcomes of this investigation should have relevance to estimating grounding scenarios in which the bottom sustains local penetration. The numerical analysis includes the benchmarking study that is based on experimental data to ensure that the current result has satisfactory accuracy. It is concluded that the indenter radii play an important role in the crushing resistance of the plate, especially having a significant influence on the maximum force. Compared with the 35 mm cone radii, the maximum force measured in the tests increased by 110.97 % in the 95 mm indenter radius. Furthermore, the energy absorption produced by the 95 mm cone radius has a higher value at 32.23 kJ compared to 10.1 kJ, which was obtained from a 35 mm cone radius. Discussions on the effects of indenter velocities are also included in this study.

Seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) could be a source of carrageenan needed for industrial sector. The purpose of this study to analyze the characteristics of carrageenan seaweed cultivated with bag and non-bag cultivation systems and different seed weights. The research was conducted in the waters of Bone Bay and the Laboratory of the Indonesian Center for Brackish Water Cultivation and Fisheries Extension in Maros. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of factor A (using bags and non-bags), and factor B (seed weight 15, 50, 75, 100, and 125 g). Methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) are the two most important greenhouse gases (GHG) from flooded paddy fields in Indonesia. This review aims to characterise CH4 and N2O emissions from flooded paddy fields by published data analysis and to examine the potential of biochar from rice straw (RSB) and rice husk (RHB) to mitigate the emissions in Indonesia. A comparison of various box-plot datasets of CH4 emissions showed that the different types of flooded paddy field soil cause varying amounts of CH4 emissions from various regions in Indonesia. Sequentially, CH4 emissions of flooded paddy fields from highest to lowest are Alluvial of Kalimantan and Sulawesi, Andisols of Java, Ultisols of Sumatra, Alfisols of Java and Bali and Inceptisols of Java and Bali, with a mean of 1062, 505, 446, 135 and 64 kg ha-1 season-1, respectively. The organic amendments application combined with chemical fertilisers is the principal driver of anthropogenic CH4 emissions from paddy fields. However, N chemical fertiliser application contributes only about 0.37% of the N2O flux, 0.69 kg ha-1 season-1. The produced biochar number was insufficient effectively to reduce CH4 and N2O emissions, at least 20 tonnes ha-1 year-1, in addition to the pyrolysis process to produce biochar, releasing CH4 emissions. Yet, with its recalcitrant properties and continuous application, RSB and RHB potentially reduce CH4 and N2O emissions from paddy fields.

Crashworthiness is a passive device that has an important function as an absorbing component of the impact energy resulting from an accidental event. The main problem in the crashworthy design is the dimensional limitation on the front end of the vehicle with the driver so that most of the energy absorption is limited. Besides, the complexity of crashworthiness design is difficult to make conventionally. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of crashworthiness design in energy absorption and the resulting deformation patterns. Crashwortines are made in a multi-cell shape using PLA material and printed using a 3D printing raise machine. Crashworthiness is produced with four variation shapes of a Multi-cell circle (MCC), Multi-Cell square (MCS), Multicell pentagonal (MCP), and Multi-Cell pentagonal circles (MCPC) with a side thickness of 2 mm and a length of 150 mm. Experimental quasi-static testing is carried out in the frontal direction using a UTM machine at an operating speed of 2mm/s. The results of the study show that the design of the crash box of the pentagon circle has a significant increase in the energy absorption value of 62.49%, which can be recommended in future impact resistance tube designs. The characteristics of the deformation pattern and the failure resulting from the crashworthiness tend to form the pattern of the bending lamina failure. Failures can occur due to plastic fold, elastic bend, and pressure deformation mechanisms followed by new folding formations (lobes).

The quantity of straw and rice husk waste remains a crucial problem to be solved, especially in Maggenrang Village, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi, so an alternative way for farmers to reduce it is through the combustion process that will add the problem of the impact of temporary air pollution but is harmful to the health of other residents. Therefore, community service is carried out to provide innovative solutions to the Eccengnge’ Farmer Group in Maggenrang Village by transforming rice straw and husk through the delignification process, which is continued by making animal feed pellets. The method of implementing this activity is carried out with three main stages: counseling, training, and mentoring to partners. The results showed an increase in partners' skills with three evaluation components, namely knowledge with a rise of 90% and production and supporting skills with an increase of 90% and 80%. Increasing skills for partners provides potential business opportunities by adding value to straw and rice husk waste into products with high commercial value, thus supporting the fulfillment of alternative, independent feed by the Maggenrang Village government based on local potential.

Islamic educational institutions have become a forum for developing meaningful educational values at present and in the future, following society and advances in science and technology. Muslim educational institutions engage in various aspects of life, such as economics, investment, and academic planning. To help improve education quality, education managers must continually enrich their knowledge and skills relevant to their work. Education growth will affect the economic development of a nation and vice versa; economic growth will affect education. Investment in education will significantly encourage sustainable economic development, which also requires organized planning to build solid Islamic educational institutions to produce competitive outputs.

This research aims to analyze the application of the service learning model to form student civic engagement, which is motivated by the lack of opportunities for students to become subjects in learning and the lack of student involvement in working together as a team. The method used in the research was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects in the research were class VII students at State Junior High School 2 Airmadidi using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that applying the service learning model to form civic engagement can be done through steps. First, students were divided into 4-5 heterogeneous members. At this stage, students made notes which were written and summarized. Second, students found and identified problems faced outside the classroom. Students exchange ideas about solutions that will be presented in solving problems. Third, conveying the results to educators to find solutions to problems. The final step was a group presentation in the question-and-answer process and making conclusions. The conclusion shows that the service-learning model can form civic engagement.

Kampung Sarasah sebagai kampung tematik memiliki potensi ekonomi berupa kegiatan budidaya ikan hias air tawar sejak tahun 2020. Ketidaktersediaan sistem penyediaan air bersih menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat tumbuh dan kembangnya kawasan tersebut, oleh sebab itu diperlukan suatu kajian awal terhadap rencana penyediaan air bersih kawasan dalam bentuk preliminary design. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi deskripsi dari rencana teknis penyediaan air bersih di kawasan Kampung Sarasah, Kota Padang. Kegiatan Preliminary design sistem penyediaan air bersih ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Sarasah Kelurahan Bungus Timur Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung, Kota Padang. Metode preliminary design sistem penyediaan air bersih Kampung Sarasah dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan pokok, yaitu survei kondisi masyarakat dan pemetaan kawasan Kampung Serasah, observasi, sosialisasi, dan pengukuran lapangan dengan menggunakan alat global positioning system (GPS) serta pemanfaatan aplikasi google earth untuk pemilihan rencana jalur pipa transmisi dan distribusi rencana sistem penyediaan air bersih kawasan. Preliminary design sistem penyediaan air bersih Kampung Sarasah yaitu kapasitas instalasi pengolahan air bersih kawasan adalah 1,0 L/detik dengan unit koagulasi-flokulasi, unit sedimentasi, unit filtrasi dan unit desinfeksi. Kapasitas jaringan pipa distribusi utama kawasan 1,2 L/detik menggunakan pipa jenis HDPE diameter 2 inch dengan panjang sekitar 1,7 km. Estimasi biaya SPAB Kampung Tematik Serasah berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat, tidak termasuk pengadaan dan pekerjaan IPA dan Reservoar 15 mᶾ adalah sebesar Rp. 144.050.400. Saran setelah rancangan dari hasil preliminary design dari SPAB Kampung Serasah ini, perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan detail engineering design untuk mendukung kelancaran pembangunan SPAB Kampung Serasah.

The legal framework for ASEAN cooperation in combating the crime of trafficking in persons, particularly women and children, led to the establishment of the ASEAN Convention Against Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children (ACTIP). This convention recognises that trafficking constitutes a violation of human rights and a crime against human dignity. However, the implementation of ACTIP faces numerous challenges that require strategic solutions. This research aims to examine the implementation of the ACTIP policy concerning human trafficking, assess ASEAN's efforts in tackling trafficking in women and children in the Southeast Asian region, and criticise the implementation of ACTIP. The research adopts a descriptive-normative method. The ACTIP Convention regulates provisions for dealing with trafficking problems, both prevention and handling, which are the responsibility of the central and local governments as well as the community by establishing various task forces in the implementation of prevention and control of human trafficking that occurs. ASEAN has taken several steps in the fight against human trafficking. Many obstacles must be faced to eradicate the criminal act of trafficking in persons. So. it is necessary to take several actions in implementing the ACTIP. ASEAN Members must cooperate either bilaterally or multilaterally so that the ACTIP arrangement can be implemented effectively.

Cylindrical shell structures are ubiquitous and essential supporting structures in various engineering applications. The aim of this research work is to provide a comprehensive overview of the behavior of cylindrical shell structures under different loading conditions, including external pressure, axial compression, and bending moment. The study found that the behavior of cylindrical shells was affected by their geometry, including diameter, length, thickness, and imperfections. These factors should be carefully considered in the design and analysis of cylindrical shells. Additionally, stiffeners and sandwich structures can be applied to improve the structural performance of cylindrical shells under different loading conditions. The work also highlighted the latest research trends in the field, such as the use of advanced materials, and numerical simulations to improve the understanding and design of cylindrical shell structures. Overall, this study has provided a valuable resource for engineers and researchers working on cylindrical shell structures, helping them to design and analyze the cylindrical shell structures more efficiently and effectively.

The problem in this study is the need to instill self-regulation in early childhood to control children's minds in learning activities and emotions and instill behavior control in friends in their environment. If it can be instilled, then autistic children can concentrate on learning. The learning process so far is rarely done on children if they do not like the activity or the subject matter they are studying. This research aims to find out how to foster self-regulation in autistic children. This research is descriptive-qualitative, while the data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation to find answers to the problems raised. The conclusion is instilling Self Regulation in autistic children by providing positive reinforcement in learning autistic children, stimulating responsive language skills, and practicing the expressive language in children, which can help them become individuals who are independent, responsible, and able to manage emotions and behavior. , and daily tasks effectively. This research has an update that focuses more on autistic children, namely developing self-regulation by providing guidance and appropriate behavior models to help children practice and strengthen their self-regulation skills.

This study uses a qualitative method with a normative juridical approach. Operationally it was carried out by library research and field studies at the Cilegon Police Station. The results of this study are that the examination of suspects carried out by investigators at the Cilegon Police Precinct before the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out professionally using the Due Process Model inspection system. Likewise, the examination of suspects during the Covid-19 pandemic, where the application of responsive law in an examination in the context of fulfilling the suspect's rights so that his case is immediately examined with a guarantee of justice which is part of the legal service or legal services.

Antiballistics are used as personal protective equipment required by military and police personnel. They have been mentioned frequently in recent decades due to the increasing cases of war. Several studies have reviewed the development of antiballistic technology. However, there needs to be more discussion on and systematic reviews of the current milestones of antiballistic materials, testing, and procedures. In addition, compared to other fields, antiballistic studies are rarely carried out by public researchers because research on weapons is still a sensitive topic. Researchers who want to discuss antiballistics must cooperate with the country's defense and security agencies. This article aims to present a summary on and the development of scientific research on the theoretical concept of impact, the experimental approach for ballistic tests on advanced materials, the idealization of ballistic tests in computational mechanic simulations, and milestones of technical apparatus for ballistic performance measurement, over a period of more than 500 years. Thus, this analysis makes an excellent contribution to the field of antiballistics. This article review is based on hundreds of international journals and websites that are still active and can be accounted for legally. The results show that research related to antiballistics will continue to grow yearly.

Klasifikasi iklim di Indonesia diperlukan untuk menyederhanakan iklim yang jumlahnya sangat beragam. Sistem klasifikasi yang cukup sering digunakan di Indonesia adalah klasifikasi Schmidt – Ferguson dan Oldeman. Lokasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Kabupaten Lampung tengah. Dalam penentuan tipe iklim Kabupaten Lampung Tengah didapatkan 2 tingkat kategori kesesuaian iklim Schmidt- Ferguson terhadap padi. Kategori Sangat Sesuai (SS) sebesar 68.087,22 ha dari 45,29% luas total lahan sawah dan untuk kategori Sesuai (S) sebesar 82.235,04 ha dari 54,71% luas total lahan sawah. Pada kesesuaian iklim Oldeman terhadap padi didapatkan 2 tingkat kategori. Luas untuk Kategori Sangat Sesuai (SS) sebesar 146.097,48 ha dari 97,17% luas total lahan sawah dan untuk kategori Sesuai (S) sebesar 4.252,54 ha dari 2,83% luas total lahan sawah. Analisa kesesuaian padi dilakukan untuk mendapatkan zona agroklimat padi berdasarkan peta guna lahan sawah dan 5 faktor pembatas wilayah, yaitu: 1) Klasifikasi iklim oldeman, 2) Klasifikasi iklim Schmidt-Ferguson, 3) Suhu, 4) Kelembaban, dan 5) Kemiringan lereng. Ke-5 faktor tersebut akan di-overlay menggunakan Quantum GIS. Hasil dari analisa ini adalah bahwa Kabupaten Lampung Tengah didominasi kategori Sesuai (S) yang dimana baik untuk kegiatan pertanian terutama tanaman padi. Wilayah kabupaten lampung Tengah terdapat 3 kategori tingkat kesesuaian terhadap tanaman padi. Pada kategori Sangat Sesuai (SS) sebesar 104.088,48 ha dari 69,21% luas total lahan sawah, untuk kategori Sesuai (S) sebesar 45.915,96 ha dari 30,53% luas total lahan sawah, dan kategori Tidak Sesuai (TS) sebesar 389,09 ha dari 0,25% luas total lahan sawah.

This study discusses the analysis of the feasibility test of the three-phase inverter-based Induction Motor Control Training Kit (TKKMI) which is carried out before it can be used and applied in the laboratory as a medium or practicum equipment in the learning process of the Electric Motor Control Practicum. This feasibility test analysis is carried out to ensure that the device meets the criteria as practicum equipment or practicum learning media and can function properly according to its function. Feasibility test analysis is a testing activity in a laboratory that includes testing the safety aspects. aspects of electrical parameters, as well as device performance. The results showed that the TKKMI device based on a three-phase inverter met the criteria and standards as a media or practicum equipment in the learning process of electric motor control practicum for D3 electrical engineering vocational education students. Thus, it can be concluded that the TKKMI device is feasible to be used as practicum equipment in the laboratory for the learning process of the 3-phase induction motor control practicum.

The most significant environmental problem was caused by plastic. One way to handle plastic waste was using biodegradable plastic because it faster decomposes naturally. Biodegradable plastic can be made from carrageenan by the hot press method. This method can make biodegradable plastic with large dimensions. However, the plastic quality depended on the holding time, temperature, and pressure selected during the hot pressing process. Therefore, this research is conducted to determine the effect of holding time and temperature in the hot press process on the tensile strength of biodegradable plastic made from carrageenan. The composition of the biodegradable plastic material used was 35% carrageenan, 35% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and 30% glycerol. In the manufacture of composites, the holding time was varied: 10, 20, 30, and 40 minutes, as well as the process temperature varied from 100, 110, 120, and 130 °C. The tensile strength of the composite was observed through tensile testing using a Universal Testing Machine. FTIR, XRD, and SEM tests were also conducted to sharpen the analysis. The addition of holding time led to an increase in the tensile strength of biodegradable plastics. The highest tensile strength was obtained at a holding time of 30 minutes with a value of 4.45 MPa. After 30 minutes, the tensile strength of the biodegradable composite decreased. Meanwhile, the addition of process temperature caused a decrease in the tensile strength of biodegradable plastics. The highest tensile strength was obtained at a process temperature of 100 °C with a value of 5.28 MPa.

This study aims to identify fraud prevention strategies by implementing a cashless policy. This research was conducted systematically through an article search engine using the keywords "Casslhless" and "Fraud," which was then entered into the Scopus journal search engine based on secondary data in the publish or perish application 8. Then, journals and articles were selected based on the title theme and looked at the quality of the article. The result of this study is that local government payment system innovations have led to changes in payment options by switching to non-cash transactions that are safer, more effective, and efficient. Cashless payments can prevent corrupt practices such as money laundering, bribery, and commissions for services or procurement. People will use non-cash transactions if the local government forces non-cash payments in urban and rural areas with the support of the internet and promising technology. Local governments must report further non-cash payments and prioritize non-cash payments and make policies and innovations such as payment of social assistance to the community using digital money and payment of retribution using non-cash to increase local revenue. This research examines three short stories in the collection of short stories Broken Hearted Woman Who Finds Love Through Dreams Again by Eka Kurniawan. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data from Kurniawan's three works are then analyzed using close reading techniques to identify themes related to women and nature. Through the perspective of ecofeminism, it seeks to reveal patriarchal dominance in the exploitation of nature and the oppression of women. Through ecofeminism, one can see how nature and women are often treated unfairly by men. This oppression resulted in resistance from women to defend themselves and protect nature.

A Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) are restrictions on certain activities of residents in an area suspected of being infected with a disease and/or contaminated in such a way as to prevent the possibility of spreading disease or contamination. President of Indonesian Republic, Joko Widodo, announced to establish PSBB as a decision taken by the government in response to a Health Emergency caused by Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The purpose of this study is to describe the economic impact of PSBB policy implementation particularly in Depok City which was carried out as an effort to overcome COVID-19. This research conducted by a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytics methods. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the PSBB greatly impacts the economic sectors in Depok City, including the tourism sector, MSMEs and employment. The impact of the pandemic on tourism sector due to the closure of tourist destinations. In addition, the impact of PSBB is a decrease in people's income, which lead to lower purchasing power. The strategies by the government to overcome the impact of this PSBB implementation are through social aids program and the right to a social safety net for community

Rapid decline in seed viability of Moringa oleifera Lam. due to storage severely reduces its capability to germinate. This study aimed to evaluate the viability of moringa seeds stored at various temperatures through seed germination on a selected medium and provide insights into its conservation in seed banks. The research consisted of two experiments. (1) Optimization of moringa seed germination using different media: A) sand 100%; B) mixed sand, soil, manure, rice husk charcoal (1:1:1:1); C) mixed sand, soil, and manure (1:1:1); D) mixed soil, manure, rice husk charcoal (2:1:1); and E) soil 100%. (2) Determination of moringa seed viability stored at various temperatures (-35, 5, 20, and 25 °C) every three months for 24 months. The information on the moringa seed banks was compiled via a literature review. Germination variables (percentage, rate, time, and index) were observed and recorded. The best germination medium for moringa seeds was medium B. Storage temperature at 5 °C was the most suitable temperature to maintain viability, indicated by the highest germination percentage, rate, and index, and the shortest germination time of only 6 days. There are moringa seed collections of 11 seed banks published online.

This work made a comparison of the effects of selected element formulations (EFs) through nonlinear finite element analysis (NLFEA) and physical configurations in scenario design, particularly target locations. The combined results help in quantifying structural performance, focusing on crashworthiness criteria. The analysis involves nonlinear dynamic finite element methods, using an explicit approach applied to an idealized system. This system models ship-to-ship collisions, specifically the interaction between Ro and Ro and cargo reefer vessels, with one striking the other. Summarizing initial NLFEA results reveals that the chosen EF significantly influences the crashworthiness criteria. Notably, differences in formulations lead to different calculation times. The Belytschko–Tsay (BT) EF is the quickest, followed by the Belytschko–Leviathan (BL), with around a 36% difference. Conversely, formulations such as the Hughes–Liu involve much longer processing times, more than twice that of BT. To address the potential impact of shear locking and hourglassing on calculation accuracy during impact, the fully integrated (FI) version of the EF is used. It mitigates these undesired events. For formulations with the same approach, the FI BT formulation suppresses hourglassing effectively, unlike others that show orthogonal hourglassing increments. To ensure reliability, rules were set to assess hourglassing. The criterion is that the ratio of hourglass energy to internal energy should be ≤10%. All formulations meet this criterion and are suitable as geometric models in NLFEA. Regarding reliability and processing time, analyzing the computation time offers insights. Based on calculations, BL is the fastest, followed by Belytschko–Wong–Chiang, while the FI BT formulation takes more time for the same collision case.

Education has an important role in ensuring the survival of the nation and state. This is because education is a vehicle for building the quality of human resources. Therefore, this study was designed to describe the role of education in building the spirit of nationalism in students at SMA Negeri 2 Sikakap Mentawai. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection methods using observation, documentation and interview techniques. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely; inventorying and organizing data, carrying out the coding process, carrying out activities to describe data according to categories. The results of the study indicate that the problem that is still an obstacle for students to be able to carry out a proper education in the Mentawai is access to transportation which is still difficult. They have to travel long distances to get to school, so students are often late for school. In addition, the economic factor of the community which is still weak is also an obstacle for students to come to school. Because for them it is more important to earn a living than to go to school. And there is no awareness of the importance of education for them. Meanwhile, in terms of schools, good education must be carried out properly because through good education, the spirit of nationalism of students can be built well, meanwhile in practice schools find obstacles with student attendance times who often come late and challenges for teachers to be able to adjust learning. with the school environment and conditions that are still inadequate.

In this article, the load resistance and energy absorptions of thin-walled structures on the square tube were numerically evaluated by the finite element method. This structure can be widely used in automotive industries, industrial buildings, ships, offshore platforms, and airplanes. In the finite element method, thin-walled structures on square tubes were examined with different wall thicknesses and materials. The materials used are mild steel, SAE 1045 steel, and SAE 1008 steel. Using the numerical results, the thickness of the wall influences the strength of the structure. Moreover, SAE 1045 steel material also seems to increase the strength of the tube under axial loading compared to the mild steel and SAE 1008 steel material. It is also important to remember that the finite element solution depends on defining your mesh size and boundary conditions. The mesh size is also compared and assessed.

Introduction: Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution of Republic Indonesia mandates the urgency of optimizing the management of state assets, whether in the management of controlled state assets, owned state assets, or separated state assets for improving the maximum benefit of the prosperity of the folk to create a prosperous state (welfare state). One form of owned state wealth is referred to as State Property/Assets (hereinafter abbreviated as BMN). Purposes of the Research: The author is interested in writing this article because there are still many BMN that are indicated to be vacant, neglected, and not used optimally, whereas this optimization of BMN is able to make a positive contribution to PNBP. This thing must be supported by strict and definite regulations about the management and utilization of BMN. Methods of the Research: The research methodology used in this study is legal research with a normative juridical study using a statutory approach and this theoretical concept uses several legal materials to support the data and theory. Results of the Research: The utilization of BMN in the form of land has not been optimal due to: the approval of the utilization of BMN by the Property Manager is not immediately followed up with a utilization agreement by a third party on the grounds that the utilization rate is still high; there is no regulation that regulates the objections of the fair value of BMN that will be utilized; the application of sanctions is not firm and there are articles on the management and utilization of BMN which are vague (vage normen).

Kolesterol diperlukan oleh tubuh untuk memproduksi sel, namun kolesterol tinggi dapat mengakibatkan penyakit yang berhubungan dengan kardiovaskuler seperti penyakit jantung iskemik dan stroke. Pengetahuan masyarakat terkait bahaya kolesterol masih rendah dan menganggap kolesterol tinggi tidak berbahaya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui ceramah, diskusi dan melakukan senam kolesterol. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat tentang bahaya kolesterol menjadi baik sebanyak 57,9% dan cukup 42,1%. Disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat meningkat tentang bahaya kolesterol dan mampu melaksanakan senam kolesterol. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat terus dilaksanakan guna menurunkan kejadian penyakit kardiovaskuler melalui pengontrolan kolesterol dalam rentang normal.

Prinsip persamaan di depan hukum (equality before the law), merupakan hal yang wajib dijalankan sehingga dengan adanya prinsip tersebut keadilan pun dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif, yang secara operasional dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan Prinsip persamaan di depan hukum baru sebatas pemeriksaan setiap perkara, namun tidak dibarengi dengan putusan yang mencerminkan kedudukan yang sama didepan hukum, sehingga putusan itu jauh dari keadilan yang dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk putusan yang mencerminkan adanya disparitas karena terkesan adanya perbedaan di depan hukum, misalnya terlihat pada Perkara Tipikor Alat Kesehatan Kedokteran Umum Pada Puskesmas Dinas Kesehatan Kota Tangerang Selatan Tahun 2012 yang melibatkan unsur Aparatur Sipil Negara dan seorang pengusaha yang didakwa bersama-sama melakukan korupsi.

The development of the global economy has led to a rise in ship traffic. As a result, the risk of accidents, such as collisions between ships and grounding, has also increased. Different failure criteria to capture these accidents have been introduced by researchers. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the essential distinction between these failure criteria. The simulations suggest that failure criteria based on the maximum stress result in a slightly higher rupture strain value, greater crack propagation, and higher internal energy than those based on the maximum strain. Furthermore, using a larger mesh size compared with the size of the test specimen appears to greatly affect the validity of the simulation results.

Convention on The Rights of The Child is the most comprehensive international legal instrument of human rights to promote and protect rights of children. In the late 2019, Coronavirus Disease 19 outbreak started. This pandemic then has led to socio-economic impact as a result of preventive and controlling actions. This pandemic has also affected the fulfillment of child’s rights including the rights of children in The City of Serang. This research was aimed at investigating the implementation of general principle of Convention on The Rights of The Child during Covid-19 pandemic in the city of Serang. This study applied normative research method, which is a research discussing legal aspects by studying literature sources on the applied regulations. The result of the study shows that the implementation of general principle of Convention on The Rights of The Child, consisting of the principle of non-discrimination, the best interest of the child, the right to life, survival and development, and the right to be heard, went well along with the establishment of Child Social Welfare Institute to serve children with special needs (LKSA), Integrated Service Centre for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) to receive complaints on the violation of children’s rights, Serang’s Children Forum as a media where children of Serang can participate. The implementation of the right to survival was not as good because Working group (Pokja) for adverse effect following immunization (KIPI) special for children has not effectively implemented.

This paper describes the charismatic principal in improving teacher work discipline in pesantren-based madrasah. Teacher work discipline is quite essential because departing from the work discipline of the teacher, and it can also be seen how the process and quality in the institution. This research takes place at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid Paiton, which incidentally is a pesantren-based madrasah. This study aims to contribute ideas guidelines for madrasah principals in improving work discipline. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The informants included the head of the madrasah, deputy head, organizational builder, waka curriculum, waka student, teacher, and one student of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid Paiton, through purposive sampling. The data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's concepts, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or data verification. The research results obtained include; 1) A strong personality aura that is respected as one that affects the discipline of the teacher's work; 2) Being responsible for the main tasks and positions becomes the teacher's consideration for discipline; 3) Visionary in compiling and innovating about the future direction of the madrasah; and 4) Becoming an example in all aspects for their subordinates in the discipline.

This study applies a new method to remove the turbidity of raw water in the sedimentation unit called CDF sedimentation using the working principle of a leaky tank at the bottom of the tank. The test was carried out on a laboratory scale reactor of 240 L/hour for 6 hours consisting of a waterfall coagulation unit for 5 seconds and alum as a coagulant. perforated wall flocculation unit with 30 minutes detention time and 1 hour CDF sedimentation unit. The study was conducted with 4 variations of CDF, namely 0%, 1%, 3%, and 5% with turbidity of 75.25 NTU. The results showed the greater the CDF value, the greater the decrease in turbidity that occurred. The highest level of turbidity removal occurred at 5% CDF value with an efficiency of 91,09%, a correlation value -0,927, and a significance value of 0,00 < 0,05. CDF value gives an influence on Reynolds numbers and Froude numbers in sedimentation units where Reynolds numbers are in the range 65,71-76,75 and Froude numbers 1,96x10-4-2,29x10-4. This shows the Reynolds number and the Froude number will get bigger as the value of the CDF and still matches the design criteria of the laminar. Objective: This paper aims to reveal the problem of how prophetic legal thought in the perspective of its relation to morals? Methodology: Doctrinal Law research types, philosophical approach, secondary data, Heuristic, and Interpretative analysis. Results: The core of law in legal prophetic thought is its axiology/goal that emphasizes the liberation of transcendence. It can be reviewed from the pattern of legal and moral relations in general, namely integrative dialogue, starting from the same legal and moral object in the form of Allah's verses (implied and expressed), the equal source (integrative relationship) in the form of senses, ratio, and intuition (heart), to different methods and approaches. However, they are interrelated. Morals are formed through internalization (psychological transformation) while the law is formed through a process of objectification (social transformation). Therefore, the relation in this aspect is dialogue. Meanwhile, according to prophetic law, both moral and legal in the aspect of goals have specific purposes. Morals form a perfect person while law aims at humanization, liberation, and transcendence. Nevertheless, both form a unified goal in the form of ethical ideals for a just and egalitarian society. Purpose: In the philosophical or metatheoretical realm, with the explanation of legal prophetic thought, especially in the perspective of legal and moral relations, it is expected that new ideas in the field of law will emerge to complement even as an alternative to various legal ideas in the future. Novelty/Originality: The most significant novelty value from the results of this research is the development of new legal ideas, namely the theory of transcendent liberation law. It can also be called the prophetic law of ethics, with the following characteristics: First, the level of substance or legal ontology places revelation as a constitutive element, in addition to the elements of reason and the five senses. It becomes a crystal-clear distinction with the naturalist metaphysical natural law school of thought (Plato and Aristotle), especially legal positivism (Immanuel Kant, J. Austin, Hans Kelsen, Hart). Second, the perspective on cultural reality also distinguishes it from naturalist metaphysics that reduces cultural relativity. Meanwhile, prophetic positions culture or empirical reality as one of the objective conditions. Third, the prophetic has similarities to the metaphysical schools of thought, both naturalists (Plato) and religious ones (Thomas Aquinas), which place conscience as a critical part of understanding law. Fourth, Prophetic law, apart from having numerous similarities with progressive law developed by Satjipto Rahardjo, also has dissimilarities, especially, the weak point of progressive law that is considered to reduce legal certainty. Meanwhile, with Von Savigny's thought, prophetic has similarities in terms of recognizing the existence of cultural particularities but not in the context of the particularity of truth. Fifth, in terms of axiology, the most prominent characteristic of prophetic law is that all stages of law are covered by an ethical mission, namely the mission of humanization, liberation, and transcendence.

Since Covid-19 was declared a pandemic, educational technology has become trended by playing E-learning. Teachers and students are forced to transform from traditional classes into E-classrooms. However, full e-learning did not give students a massive impact yet, and lately, they have become less motivated since it provided no real communication (Mese & Sevilen 2021). Integrating face-to-face learning (direct interaction) and technology-based learning (digital communication) becomes promising (Garrison &Vaughan, 2008; Rianto, 2020). This study explored the perspectives of 3 pre-service teachers and 27 students towards the blended learning (BL) practices in the EFL context. The setting was the English education department, Universitas Borneo Tarakan. The data were collected using online interviews to gain in-depth information. The findings uncovered that the teachers and students gave positive perspectives to apply this model to the new normal. In addition, BL could reshape the teachers' roles by applying multiple technology use in the teaching and learning process. BL was also able to broaden students' learning experience and provide them with a technology-based world. This study highlighted some implications, including the need for pre-service teachers' professional development that ultimately will help teachers assist students in succeeding in blended learning.

Abstract: This present study discusses the boarding school-based regeneration in Persatuan Islam (PERSIS) organization formulated by KH. Endang Abdurrahman during the period of 1954-1983. Historical approach is employed in this study with qualitative descriptive model. It reveals that cadre management is culturally performed, where direct and personal relationship between teacher and students are formed. In its development, PERSIS regeneration is more organized through educational institution: Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) owned by PERSIS and courses for Muballigh or preacher. Historically, this reinforcement gained its momentum when PERSIS was led by KH. E. Abdurrahman from 1962 to1983.The system developed by Abdulrahman was yet exclusive and unintegrated with the national education system. Through such system, PERSIS was able to produce many religious scholars (muballigh and ustadz).Abstrak: Kajian ini membahas regenerasi berbasis pondok pesantren dalam organisasi Persatuan Islam (PERSIS) yang dirumuskan oleh KH. Endang Abdurrahman selama periode 1954-1983. Pendekatan historis digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan model deskriptif kualitatif. Ini mengungkapkan bahwa manajemen kader dilakukan secara budaya, di mana hubungan langsung dan pribadi antara guru dan murid terbentuk. Dalam perkembangannya, regenerasi PERSIS lebih diselenggarakan melalui lembaga pendidikan: Pesantren PERSIS dan kursus untuk Muballigh. Secara historis, penguatan ini ketika PERSIS dipimpin oleh KH. The act of utilising all the resources owned by a state, including natural resources, is the right of every state. However, its use is prohibited if it causes harm to other states. This is then referred to as the principle of no harm rule in international law. Therefore, each state is responsible not for causing damage to other States' environments or areas outside the limits of its jurisdiction. This article will analyse the development of the no harm rules and its application model for claiming state responsibility. As normative research, it used secondary data as the main data, and the primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials were analysed qualitatively. In discussion, this principle has long existed as customary international law to mitigate transboundary pollution. In the case of the environment in general, many studies have applied this principle. However, due to the uniqueness of the climate change issue, evidence and proof of the impacts caused cannot be used as the basis for a lawsuit like ordinary environmental cases. Based on the discussion and simulation conducted, it is concluded that the no harm rules principle can be applied to climate change issues. However, this principle is not satisfactory and has limitations in its application.

Research Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe and understand the formulation of the Metaverse regulation for actions prohibited in the ITE Law in the concept of cyber law and to examine how the legal conditions and developments in Indonesia respond to the presence of Metaverse. Method: The research method used is a normative legal research method using several approaches, namely: 1) Conceptual approach; 2) Statute approach; and 3) Comparative approach. Findings: The findings of the study show that the condition of human civilization is currently advancing rapidly, this refers to the ease of accessing every line of life through the use of technology. To anticipate and monitor every aspect of life that occurs in the cyber realm, the concept of Cyber Law is present in ensuring legal protection for the community as technology users. The presence of metavers needs to be anticipated by designing or updating legal products that will become a reference in protecting citizens as subjects who are active in the Metavers era. Function: The function of the study is to examines the formulation of the Metaverse regulation of actions prohibited in the ITE Law in the cyber legal framework. Novelty: This research is important considering that there are no previous studies that examine the concept of cyber law in looking at the influence of the existence of Metaverse on actions prohibited in the ITE Law. In addition, considering the importance of carrying out legal protection for every activity that occurs in the Metaverse era in an effort to develop cyber law in Indonesia in the future.

ABSTRAK Efisiensi yang rendah pada solar cell dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor yaitu tingkat radiasi, suhu, dan sudut instalasi. Penelitian ini membahas upaya meningkatkan performa solar panel yaitu dengan menggunakan sistem pelacak surya sumbu tunggal. Dalam penelitian sistem pelacak surya sumbu tunggal ini dimodelkan dengan menggunakan PID controller pada software Matlab Simulink. Dalam metode tracking system, solar cell disimulasikan pada sumbu tunggal yang berorientasi pada sudut elevasi, sebagai masukan dan pengoptimasian kontrol posisi yang tepat terhadap arah pergerakan matahari pada pukul 07.00 – 17.00 wib. Hasil simulasi didapatkan penggunan kontrol PID pada perancangan single axis solar tracking system menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dimana kontroler yang dirancang dapat mendeteksi arah pergerakan matahari dengan cukup akurat. Sudut elevasi terendah yaitu 1,7 derajat dan tertinggi 68,21 derajat. Solar tracking system memiliki potensi menyerap lebih banyak radiasi matahari untuk mendapatkan output lebih baik yang dihasilkan dari solar cell. Kata kunci: solar cell, sumbu tunggal, tracking system, PID controller, Simulink Matlab ABSTRACT The low efficiency of the solar cell is influenced by several aspect, namely radiation levels, temperature, and tilt angle. This research discusses improving solar panels' performance using a single-axis tracking system. This research modelled a singleaxis of solar cell tracking system using a PID controller in Matlab Simulink software. In the tracking system method, the solar cell is simulated on a single axis oriented to elevation angle as input and optimization of precise position control to direct the sun's movement at 07.00 – 17.00 WIB. The simulation results shown that using a PID control in designing a single-axis of solar cell tracking system shows significant results, where the controller design can accurately detect the direction of the sun's movement. Furthermore, the lowest elevation angle is 1.7 degrees, and the highest is 68.21 degrees. Furthermore, solar tracking systems have the potential to absorb more radiation for a greater output of solar cells. Makanan suplemen kapsul ikan gabus sebagai solusi peningkatkan nilai tambah, memiliki kandungan albumin tinggi, yang berperan mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengangkat potensi sumber daya ikan danau Lindu utamanya ikan Gabus, serta memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada kelompok usaha milenial untuk mampu membuat makanan suplemen kapsul ikan gabus sebagai sarana meningkatkan pendapatan. Program pengabdian ini di laksanakan di Desa Anca, yang difokuskan pada pengembangan produk unggulan daerah di Kabupaten Sigi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaannya adalah peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan (capacity building), diskusi, praktek kerja (demplot), dan kegiatan pendampingan pengolahan ikan gabus yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini, bermitra dengan kelompok usaha milenial Kalendu Kolenorasi hasil binaan BUMDES Desa Anca. Keterlibatan mitra dan pemerintah setempat sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan tentang pengolahan makanan supplemen kapsul ikan gabus dan manfaatnya, dilakukan secara interaktif dan partisipatif tentang peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia milenial. Untuk menjaga keberlanjutan program, dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan dengan intensitas melakukan komunikasi, baik melalui media telepon , media sosial, dan melakukan pertemuan langsung dengan mitra untuk diskusi terkait dengan masalah pengembangan usaha dan cara pemecahannya. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah kelompok usaha milenial Kalendu Kolenorasi Desa Anca mampu mengelola dan menghasilkan produk makanan supplemen kapsul ikan gabus. This service program was carried out in Anca Village, which is focused on developing regional superior products in Sigi Regency. The method used in its implementation is to increase the capacity of human resources through training (capacity building), discussions, work practices (demplots), and sustainable management of snakehead fish. This service activity is in partnership with the Kalendu Kolenorasi millennial business group fostered by BUMDES Anca Village. The involvement of partners and the local government was very enthusiastic in participating in training activities on food processing for snakehead fish capsule supplements and their benefits, carried out interactively and participatively on increasing the capacity of millennial human resources. To maintain the sustainability of the program, mentoring activities are carried out with the intensity of communicating, both through telephone media, social media, and holding direct meetings with partners for discussions related to business development problems and how to solve them. The output target to be achieved is that the millennial business group Kalendu Kolenorasi Anca Village is able to manage and produce snakehead fish capsule supplement food products. The growth of Fintech in Indonesia is very rapid, this condition is directly proportional to the legal problems that arise, the legal policy of regulation and protection of Fintech is still focused on the OJK, while the OJK still has many weaknesses in the implementation of supervision and protection of fintech activities, especially in the era of the covid pandemic. -19. The purpose of this study, first, by outlining the legal regulations issued by Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority regarding fintech in Indonesia by looking at the legal weaknesses so that it is important to establish the Fintech Law. second, the urgency of the establishment of a fintech law on fintech consumer protection in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the importance of this research is that it will explain the development of the fintech industry in Indonesia, especially during the Pandemic, where the fintech industry experienced significant development so that this is an idea to provide a clear legal framework for the fintech industry. The research method used is normative juridical using library data and observations of fintech developments through library studies. Research findings show that so far fintech in Indonesia has used regulations contained in the POJK and PBI as the basis for implementing fintech, although it is felt that the regulations issued by POJK and PBI have not been able to provide maximum legal protection for the implementation of the fintech industry. so it is necessary to establish a law in order to provide legal protection for the development of the fintech industry now and in the future.

Research has been carried out on the dosimetry verification of the AAA algorithm on the Eclipse Treatment Planning System based on variations of the multileaf collimator. The study was conducted using energy 6 MV with a dose of 2 Gy. The multileaf collimator was varied into six groups with the size of the irradiation field used was 20 x 20 cm2. The measurement results are in the form of dose deviation value or dose ratio presentation in each irradiation area. The dose deviation for each group of multileaf collimator variation was A 0.86%. Group B 6.8%, Group C -0.43%, group D 0.73%, group E 1.11% and group F 0.84%. The mean value of dose deviation for all forms of multileaf collimator was 1, 67%, the data shows that the dose deviation that occurs is within the ICRU recommended tolerance value of 3-5%. The P-value in the Analysis of variance (ANOVA) also shows that there is no effect of variation in the multileaf collimator on the dose given. The dose calculation process using the AAA algorithm is quite accurate, based on dose deviation data that is below the tolerance range.

Thin-walled structures, which generally consist of unstiffened and stiffened plates, are widely used in engineering as one of the core features of any product or construction. Due to environmental conditions and working operation, the components of the structure unavoidably become subject to various types of loading. Deformation patterns and overall behaviour are expected to be varied, as different materials are considered in the structures. In this situation, assessments are required to quantify the responses and determine the relationships between the structural behaviour and structural parameters. In this work, we attempt to obtain the behaviour data of unstiffened and stiffened plates as components of thin-walled structures. The material class – i.e. low- and medium-carbon steels – and loading parameters (i.e. type and angle) are taken as the main inputs in the finite element analysis. A geometrical design is adopted based on the side hull structure of a medium-sized tanker, for which two plate types, unstiffened and stiffened, are used. The results indicate that increasing the loading angle reduces the force experienced by the plate, while the greater the loading direction angle is, the greater the total displacement value will be. In terms of the plate design, the stiffener is observed to reduce the force expansion during the loading of the stiffened plate.

Variations in the type of coagulant resulted in different floc characteristics. The sedimentation unit with continuous discharges flow or (CDF) method is a sedimentation unit that applies the leaking tank phenomenon, so it is possible that it will affect the condition of the floc that has been formed and in the end can affect the efficiency of turbidity removal. This study was to determine the effect of the type of coagulant in the coagulation unit on the removal of raw water turbidity in the sedimentation unit using the CDF method with a 6% discharge ratio to the product discharge. The raw water used is Sungai Batang Kuranji water with a turbidity of 27.63 NTU. The experimental reactor consisted of a coagulation-flocculation unit and a sedimentation unit with various coagulants being Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC), Ferric Chloride, and Alum. The results showed that the efficiency of removing turbidity from the Sungai Batang Kuranji by PAC coagulant was 90.12%, Ferric Chloride 86.99%, and Alum 81.72%. The Spearman correlation value of the coagulant variable on the efficiency of the removal of turbidity is 0.948, indicating a unidirectional effect between the two variables. The addition of 6% CDF flow in the settling zone did not break the floc because the flow formed was still laminar.
