The increasing number of vehicles in Jakarta has the potential to increase air pollution, especially on protocol roads. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) were imposed in Jakarta, which made work activities and learning processes carried out online. These social restrictions cause a decrease in vehicle activity, including at Universitas Pertamina Areas in Jakarta. The decreasing number of this activity certainly affects the ambient air quality. Therefore, ambient air quality measurements were conducted at Universitas Pertamina Areas during the COVID-19 pandemic. The parameters observed included SO2, NO2, O3, TSP, PM2.5, and NH3. This research showed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the measured air parameters, namely SO2, NO2, O3, TSP, and PM2.5, met the quality standards based on the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41 of 1999 concerning air pollution control. Also, NH3 parameters had met the Decree Minister of Environment Number: KEP-50/MENLH/11/1996 concerning odor level standards. Namun, selama pandemi COVID-19 diberlakukan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB) di Kota Jakarta yang membuat kegiatan kerja dan proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring sehingga aktivitas kendaraan bermotor mengalami penurunan, termasuk di Komplek Universitas Pertamina Jakarta. Penurunan aktivitas ini berpengaruh terhadap kualitas udara ambien. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pengukuran terhadap kualitas udara ambien di Universitas Pertamina selama pandemi COVID-19. Parameter yang diamati meliputi SO2, NO2, O3, TSP, PM2,5, dan NH3. Dari hasil pemantauan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada saat pandemi, parameter udara yang diukur, yaitu SO2, NO2, O3, TSP, dan PM2,5 memenuhi baku mutu berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 41 Tahun 1999 tentang pengendalian pencemaran udara dan parameter NH3 telah memenuhi Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup Nomor: KEP50/MENLH/11/1996 tentang baku tingkat kebauan. Transportation is one of the human needs in a big city like Jakarta. Currently, the implementation of public transportation is being scaled up to reduce vehicle emissions, especially those fueled by oil. One public transportation activity is electric trains that produce hazardous solid waste. This study aims to identify the generation and composition of hazardous waste from electric train transportation activities in Jakarta. This study uses quarterly secondary data from July 2019 to March 2020. The composition of hazardous waste is calculated based on the w/w weight ratio, then looks at the effect of time and phase of each time hazardous waste generation from electric train activities. The composition of the largest hazardous waste is contaminated packaging, scrap-contaminated, and contaminated waste is 28.14%; 23.34%; and 10.72%, respectively. The lowest hazardous waste generated is used lamps at 0.10%. Hazardous waste arises from activities that contaminate to produce hazardous or toxic properties. Based on the phase, solid hazardous waste is 96%, and liquid is 4%. The analysis of the variance test showed no significant difference in terms of time (sig. 0.679) and phase (sig. 0.534). Therefore, the data used show no difference in hazardous waste generated by time or phase.
