Climate data collected through Internet of Things (IoT) devices often contain high‐dimensional, nonlinear, and auto‐correlated characteristics, and general causality analysis methods obtain quantitative causality analysis results between variables based on conditional independence tests or Granger causality, and so forth. However, it is difficult to capture dynamic properties between variables of temporal distribution, which can obtain information that cannot be obtained by the mean detection method. Therefore, this paper proposed a new causality analysis method based on Peter‐Clark (PC) algorithm and modified local Granger causality (MLGC) analysis method, called PC‐MLGC, to reveal the causal relationships between variables and explore the dynamic properties on temporal distribution. First, the PC algorithm is applied to compute the relevant variables of each variable. Then, the results obtained in the previous stage are fed into the modified local Granger causality analysis model to explore causalities between variables. Finally, combined with the quantitative causality analysis results, the dynamic characteristic curves between variables can be obtained, and the accuracy of the causal relationship between variables can be further verified. The effectiveness of the proposed method is further demonstrated by comparing it with standard Granger causality analysis and a two‐stage causal network learning method on one benchmark dataset and two real‐world datasets. The particle counting part in the unified gas-kinetic wave–particle method on graphics processing unit (GPU) devices is computationally intensive. This paper introduces a piecewise-hierarchical (P-H) particle counting strategy tailored for the Single Instruction Multiple Threads architecture, which leverages GPU memory hierarchy to reduce access conflicts. The strategy was evaluated based on throughput, roofline performance, and computation time metrics. Compared to the global counting strategy, the P-H approach achieved a 3.37 × speedup for the particle counting kernel, and the overall program experienced a performance boost of more than 30%. Simple Summary: In this study, we reported a peste des petits ruminants virus infection case in wild animals, and a virus strain was subsequently sequenced. Our results showed the existence of peste des petits ruminants virus in wild small ruminants in China, which was found to be closely related to the peste des petits ruminants virus isolated in China between 2013 and 2014. Our findings indicated that more attention should be paid to the prevention and control of wildlife diseases because there is the possibility of wild animals infecting domestic animals. In 2013, the second outbreak of peste des petits ruminants occurred in China, leading to a spillover in more than 20 provinces and municipalities over the next few months. Thereafter, the epidemic situation was stable owing to strict prevention and control measures. In February 2024, several bharals and argali with suspected symptoms of PPR were discovered in Rutog country, Tibet Autonomous Region. Samples collected from these animals were delivered to our laboratory for diagnosis; the results of fluorescence quantitative reverse-transcription (RT) PCR indicated that all samples were positive for PPR viral RNA. The N and F gene fragments were amplified successfully via RT-PCR, and these results confirmed that these animals were infected with PPRV. A PPRV strain (subsequently named ChinaTibet2024) was sequenced, and its genome length was 15,954 nucleotides. A phylogenetic tree analysis using N and F genes and viral genomes showed that the ChinaTibet2024 genome was classified into lineage IV of the PRRV genotypes. The genome of the ChinaTibet2024 strain was found to be closely related to PPRVs isolated in China between 2013 and 2014. A base insertion and a base deletion were detected in the M gene 5′ untranslated region. Results indicated that the prevalent PPRV strains in China did not show significant changes and that special attention should be paid to the surveillance of wild animals as an important part of PPR prevention and control. Haloamines have advantages as highly efficient bactericidal, relatively inexpensive synthesis, non- toxic, environmentally friendly and unique reproducibility. In this study, UiO-66-NHCl bacteriostatic material was prepared by introducing reactive chlorine bonding groups based on zirconium-based metal-organic skeleton-UiO-66-NH2, and PET fibers were coated by impregnation method. When the content of reactive chlorine in UiO-66-NHCl bacteriostatic material was 8%, the impregnation time was 6 h, and the drying temperature was 60oC, the maximum amount of UiO-66-NHCl load on PET fibre. We analyzed the PET fibers coated with UiO-66-NHCl antibacterial material by XRD, SEM, FT-IR, EDS and XPS characterization, and tested the stability, biosafety and performance on antibacterial properties of the material. The results showed that the UiO-66-NHCl@PET composite fiber remained 91% and 83% of the original chlorine content after 30 days of storage and shaking, and the stability of the material was good. Meanwhile, the composite fiber inhibited both S. aureus and E. coli, and the diameter of the inhibition circle was >7 mm, in which the inhibition activity of S. aureus was better than that of E. coli. The UiO-66-NHCl@PET composite fiber has better inhibitory activity against S. aureus than E. coli, with excellent antibacterial performance and no irritation. Near-infrared laser radiation based on Nd3+-doped yttrium ortho-aluminate (Nd:YAlO3, Nd:YAP) has garnered significant interest regarding solid-state lasers. Nevertheless, the crystal microstructures and electronic characteristics of Nd:YAP are still unclear, and the unique physical properties underlying its enormous applications require clarification. In this study, we conducted first-principles calculations at the atomic level to explore the electronic properties and mechanical characteristics of both pure YAP and Nd3+-doped YAP. The results suggest that the substitution of the Y3+ ion site with the Nd3+ impurity ion induces slight structural distortion in the YAP crystal lattice. An impurity band emerges between the original conduction band and the valence band, attributed to the 4f orbital of the Nd3+ ion, exerting a substantial influence on the narrowing of the band gap. Through an analysis of the mechanical characteristics of both pure YAP and Nd:YAP, we conclude that the incorporation of Nd3+ atoms leads to a reduction in the mechanical properties of YAP to a certain extent. Our study can serve as a foundational data source for investigations into material performance, especially for the application of Nd:YAP in solid-state laser systems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
