Objective To investigate the impact of propofol on angiogenesis in postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) rats and the role of Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway in this process. Methods Female Wistar rats were randomly grouped into sham operation group, PMOP group (bilateral ovariectomy), groups of propofol 2.5 mg/kg and of 5.0 mg/kg and propofol+Wnt inhibitor group (propofol 2.5 mg/kg + Wnt inhibitor 2 mg/kg), with 10 rats in each. The serum level of bone alkaline phosphatase (BALP), osteoprotegerin (OPG), nuclear factor κB receptor activating factor ligand (RANKL), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and angiopoietin-1 (Ang-1) was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); bone mineral density (BMD) of femur was measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry; hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining microscopy was applied to observe pathological changes of bone tissue; the expression of CD31 in bone tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry; Western blot was applied to detect the expression of bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2), runt-related transcription factor 2 (Runx2), VEGFA, CD31, Wnt2, phosphorylated glycogen synthase kinase-3 (p-GSK-3) and β-catenin in bone tissue. Results Compared with the sham operation group, the serum RANKL level of PMOP group increased, the level of BALP, OPG, VEGF, Ang-1, expression of CD31 and protein level of BMP-2, Runx2, VEGFA, CD31, Wnt2, p-GSK-3, β-catenin all decreased (P＜0.05), the bone trabecula was damaged and the medullary cavity was enlarged; compared with the PMOP group, the changes of the above indexes in the propofol groups and the propofol+Wnt inhibitor group were obviously relieved(P＜0.05); compared with the propofol 5.0 mg/kg group, the propofol+Wnt inhibitor group showed inhibition in the activation of Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway, and weaken the promotion of propofol on angiogenesis, bone metabolism regulation and bone tissue morphology improvement in PMOP rats(P＜0.05). Conclusions Propofol may promote angiogenesis and regulate bone metabolism in PMOP rats by activating Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway as the potential mechanisms involved in anti-PMOP role process.

ObjectiveTo promote the implementation of the food safety strategy and strengthen the integration and application of food safety risk data in agriculture， market regulation， health， and other departments， and solve the problems of inconsistent data and interface standards， difficulties in data reporting and sharing， as well as information fragmentation， business fragmentation， and work segmentation among others.MethodsUsing data encoding techniques， a standardized system for basic information collection of food safety risk was established， which contains the basic data sets for food safety risk information， data dictionaries， and technical specifications for data exchange， among others.ResultsThe proposed system will promote consistent， trusted collection and connectivity of food safety risk basic data across domains from agriculture， market regulation， health， and other departments.ConclusionThe proposed system could help in comprehensive analysis， provide decision support based on food safety big data， accelerate the implementation of food safety strategy， and implement the Healthy China Strategy.

Promoting big data， artificial intelligence and other digital technologies to empower smart supervision is the only way to achieve the informatization of supervision in the new era， and to promote the modernization of national governance systems and capabilities. This article explores the development process and construction ideas of the market supervision informatization project （part of the National Health Commission）； analyzes the economic and social benefits of the project； some countermeasures and suggestions for reference are put forward for the problems exposed in network and data security， business collaboration and data sharing， and digital technology empowerment supervision services. The goal of the research is to point out the right and scientific guidance for the project， and make the project really useful and helpful for the market supervision. The final target is to improve the level of supervision informatization and promote the capacity building of supervision modernization， strengthen the modernization level of the governance system and capabilities， and improve the level of services for improving and guaranteeing people’s livelihood.

The fungicide pyraclostrobin is the main measure used to control apple alternaria blotch in production. To evaluate the potential dietary risks for consumers, the dissipation and terminal residues of pyraclostrobin were investigated using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS). Pyraclostrobin in apples was extracted by acetonitrile with 2% ammonia and then purified using primary secondary amine (PSA) and graphitized carbon black (GCB). The method showed good linearity within the concentration range of 0.005–0.1 mg L−1, with a coefficient of determination (R2) ≥ 0.9958. The recoveries ranged from 96.0% to 103.8%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) between 0.8% and 2.3%. The limit of quantification (LOQ) was 0.01 mg kg−1. Pyraclostrobin dispersible oil suspension was applied in 12 apple fields across China according to good agricultural practices (GAPs). In Beijing and Shandong, the dissipation of pyraclostrobin followed first-order kinetic equations, with a half-life of 11 days. The terminal residues ranged from <0.01 to 0.09 mg kg−1. The national estimated daily intake (NEDI) of pyraclostrobin was compared with the acceptable daily intake (ADI), resulting in risk quotient (RQc) of 80.8%. The aim of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic effects of coronary granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) on rats with chronic ischemic heart disease (CIHD).

Changes in precipitation over different periods or regions are important because they have significant effects on many aspects of everyday life. Comparison of multiple forms of precipitation between several periods or regions may therefore be helpful as an aid to decision-making. Precipitation data have generally been assumed to follow a gamma distribution. However, since some dry days have zero precipitation, a zero-inflated gamma distribution is more appropriate for fitting the data. In this article, we consider three fiducial methods (one accurate method and two approximate) to construct simultaneous confidence intervals for mean differences of multiple zero-inflated gamma distributions. Our simulation studies show that the exact method gives more accurate results than the two approximate ones, and it is applicable to various situations. However, the two approximate methods are much faster than the exact one. Also, they provide satisfactory results when the shape parameters are large. Abstract The testing problem for the homogeneity of a location-scale mixture model is fundamental for subsequent statistical inference. In this paper, we employ the EM-test method to test the homogeneity of two commonly encountered location-scale mixture models with a structural scale, and we also establish the theoretical properties of test statistics. Further, to enhance the reliability of the test, based on the computer experiments approach, we develop a Bartlett-corrected approximate distribution for the proposed test statistics. Through Monte Carlo studies and real data example, the effectiveness of the proposed testing procedure is compared with that of the classical one, especially for small or moderate sample sizes. Spirotetramat is a potential tetronic acid pesticide for controlling various pests with piercing–sucking mouthparts. To clarify its dietary risk on cabbage, we established an ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC–MS/MS) method and then investigated the residual levels of spirotetramat and its four metabolites in cabbage collected from field experiments under good agricultural practices (GAPs). The average recoveries of spirotetramat and its metabolites in cabbage were 74~110%, while the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1~6%, and the limit of quantitation (LOQ) was 0.01 mg kg−1. The terminal residue of spirotetramat was in the range of <0.05~0.33 mg kg−1, the chronic dietary risk (RQc) was 17.56%, and the acute dietary risk (RQa) was 0.025~0.049%, which means an acceptable dietary intake risk. This study provides data to guide on the use of spirotetramat and to establish the maximum residue limits (MRLs) of spirotetramat on cabbage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Recently, the likelihood ratio (LR) test was proposed to test the homogeneity of a three-sample model with a mixture structure. Because of the presence of the mixture structure, the null limiting distribution of the LR test has a complicated supremum form, which leads to challenges in determining p-values. In addition, the LR test cannot control type-I errors well under small to moderate sample size. In this paper, we propose seven generalized fiducial methods to test the homogeneity of the three-sample model. Via simulation studies, we find that our methods perform significantly better than the LR test method in controlling the type-I errors under small to moderate sample size, while they have comparable powers in most cases.
