Now a day, people are facing many problems relating to the crowd control, security issues, medical emergencies, detecting and tracking of the pilgrims in the holy areas and a place where a large number of people takes place. Especially during pilgrimage, in political rallies the authority finds it difficult to manage the situation. To avoid this condition a pre-stamped alarm system is implemented, in order to recognize and to monitor the stampede. In pre-stampede alarm system a camera is used to monitor the stampede area continuously and also finds the high density of people by using image processing tool. The means of sending or receiving data with base station is done through global positioning system or through GSM. When a pre-stampede system is starts working then the people around the pre-stampede area can be detected by camera and it compares with the fixed threshold level, if very high density of people is detected then the alert message is send to the authorized person.
