The study introduces the Ant Lion Recurrent Climate Estimation (ALRCE) model for precise climate forecasting, emphasizing critical parameters like rainfall, humidity, temperature, wind speed, and dew point. Its primary goal is to mitigate natural hazard risks stemming from sudden climate shifts. Data from Surat city, Gujarat, including these features, is meticulously processed to train the ALRCE model. It employs an ant lion fitness function for analysis, particularly predicting rainfall and drought rates. Implemented in MATLAB, it demonstrates superior precision, accuracy, and risk reduction, validated for future climatic predictions from 2025 to 2050. Comparative analysis with existing techniques shows ALRCE outperforms, achieving 96.5% accuracy, 98% precision, 0.18838 RMSE, and 0.63 correlation coefficient. In this paper, we construct a deep framework for full-reference image quality assessment (FR-IQA) by combining convolution and self-attention features; this approach effectively uses multiscale features to mimic the image evaluation in human eyes. We achieve the integration of information from local to global. First, convolutional neural network (CNN) and encoder of Swin transformer are used to extract multiscale paired features. Second, for each type of features, we fuse them after converting them to a fixed number of channels. For the fused features, we use the square of the difference between two pixel values at the corresponding channel positions to represent the features of the distortion degree. Then, we introduce a recurrent neural network (RNN) to capture the global features. Finally, for the two types of features, we use the full connection (FC) layer to regress two scores and then add the weights to compute the ultimate perceived score. Summary Employing mobile nodes or Sensor Nodes (SN) in the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a critical task within the coverage area. However, these techniques produce huge errors in the evaluated distance between source nodes and unknown nodes, which increases the average NL error of the unknown node. The usage of a Global Positioning System (GPS) for all the SNs needs high cost for implementation in large‐scale WSNs. The designing of NL in WSN with less energy requirements and less cost is very significant. Enhanced NL is performed with deep learning techniques together with the heuristic strategy for performance enhancement. The developed localization model is mainly utilized for providing fast, scalable, and easily implementable results over heterogeneous and homogeneous networks. Moreover, it is applicable for sparse and dense deployment of nodes. Here, a hybridized deep structured approach is employed by integrating the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) with a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) for calculating the distance among the source nodes to facilitate determining the optimal location for the unidentified node by analyzing the node information present in the received packets. Here, the optimization of constraints executed in the deep learning techniques with the Modified Exploration‐based Sandpiper Optimization Algorithm (ME‐SOA), and also it is utilized to find the optimal location of unknown nodes based on computed distance from the received packets that minimize the average localization error. Electrical engineering models often rely on complex circuit configurations that facilitate the dynamic flow of electrically charged particles within a closed conductive network. These circuits serve as essential tools for simulating and analyzing diverse electrical systems and components. This paper introduces a study on nonlinear fractional circuits modeling through the development of a stochastic neuro-computational artificial intelligent-based solver to address mathematical models governing the Fractional order Caputo–Fabrizio stiff electric circuit model (FO-CFSECM) by manipulating the knacks of layered recurrent neural networks (LRNNs) trained with Gradient-based local search algorithm (GLA). In fractional calculus, the Caputo–Fabrizio (CF) fractional order derivative (FOD) emerges as a powerful instrument, binding its capabilities to deliver remarkably accurate solutions for fractional stiff systems. The objective of this work is to exploit the numerical treatment comprehensively for the dynamics of fractal Resistor–Capacitor (RC) and fractal Resistor–Inductor (RL) circuit models by introducing the CF fractional operator. Through the application of artificial intelligence-based soft computing and advanced back-propagative deep neural networks, a deeper understanding of the behavior and distinctive characteristics inherent in these models is sought. The Levenberg–Marquardt optimizer serves as an efficient training GLA tool for learning of LRNNs weights of fractal RL/RC circuit models. The comparative studies on variants of FO-CFSECM demonstrate that LRNNs achieve an impressive mean square error (MSE) ranging from 10−9 to 10−19 and absolute error (AE) within 10−6 to 10−8. The accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of LRNNs for solving the FO-CFSECM were further validated through MSE, AE, controlling parameters of state transitions, error histograms, and correlation measures. Accurate wind power forecasting (WPF) is critical in optimizing grid operations and efficiently managing wind energy resources. Challenges arise from the inherent volatility and non-stationarity of wind data, particularly in short-to-medium-term WPF, which extends to longer forecast horizons. To address these challenges, this study introduces a novel model that integrates Improved Empirical Mode Decomposition (IEMD) with an enhanced Transformer called TransIEMD. TransIEMD begins by decomposing the wind speed into Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs) using IEMD, transforming the scalar wind speed into a vector form that enriches the input data to reveal hidden temporal dynamics. Each IMF is then processed with channel attention, embedding, and positional encoding to prepare inputs for an enhanced Transformer. The Direct Embedding Module (DEM) provides an alternative viewpoint on the input data. The distinctive perspectives of IEMD and DEM offer interaction through cross-attention within the encoder, significantly enhancing the ability to capture dynamic wind patterns. By combining cross-attention and self-attention within the encoder–decoder structure, TransIEMD demonstrates enhanced proficiency in detecting and leveraging long-range dependencies and dynamic wind patterns, improving the forecasting precision. Extensive evaluations on a publicly available dataset from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) demonstrate that TransIEMD significantly improves the forecasting accuracy across multiple horizons of 4, 8, 16, and 24 h. Specifically, at the 24 h forecast horizon, TransIEMD achieves reductions in the normalized mean absolute error and root mean square error of 4.24% and 4.37%, respectively, compared to the traditional Transformer. Summary This research article presents an artificial neural network (ANN)‐based indirect adaptive control method for nonlinear dynamical systems. In this article, a modified Elman recurrent neural network (MERNN) is proposed as an identifier and controller for controlling nonlinear systems. The architecture of the proposed controller is a modified form of the existing Elman recurrent neural network. The parameter training of ANN‐based controllers is obtained by using the most popular optimization algorithm which is known as the back‐propagation algorithm. A comparative study includes Elman, Diagonal, Jordan, feed‐forward neural network (FFNN), and radial basis function network (RBFN)‐based controllers to compare with the proposed MERNN controller. To determine the controller's robustness, parameter variations, and disturbance signals have been considered. The performance analysis of the proposed controller is illustrated by two simulation examples. This paper presents a comprehensive study on fall recognition and forecasting for reconfigurable stair-accessing robots by leveraging deep learning techniques. The proposed framework integrates machine learning algorithms and recurrent neural networks (RNNs), specifically Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM), for fall detection of service robots on staircases. The reconfigurable stair-accessing robot sTetro serves as the platform, and the fall data required for training models are generated in a simulation environment. The two machine learning algorithms are compared and their effectiveness on the fall recognition task is reported. The results indicate that the BiLSTM model effectively classifies falls with a median categorical accuracy of 94.10% in simulation and 90.02% with limited experiments. Additionally, the BiLSTM model can be used for forecasting, which is practically valuable for making decisions well before the onset of a free fall. This study contributes insights into the design and implementation of fall detection systems for service robots used to navigate staircases through deep learning approaches. In text classifier models, the complexity of recurrent neural networks (RNNs) is very high because of the vast state space and uncertainty of transitions, which makes the RNN classifier's explainability insufficient. It is almost impossible to explain the large-scale RNN directly. A feasible method is to generalize the rules undermining it, that is, model abstraction. To deal with the low efficiency and excessive information loss in existing model abstraction for RNNs, this work proposes a PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization)-based model abstraction and explanation generation method for RNNs. Firstly, the k-means clustering is applied to preliminarily partition the RNN decision process state. Secondly, a frequency prefix tree is constructed based on the traces, and a PSO algorithm is designed to implement state merging to address the problem of vast state space. Then, a PFA (probabilistic finite automata) is constructed to explain the RNN structure with preserving the origin RNN information as much as possible. Finally, the quantitative keywords are labeled as an explanation for classification results, which are automatically generated with the abstract model PFA. Unsupervised video prediction is widely applied in intelligent decision-making scenarios due to its capability to model unknown scenes. Traditional video prediction models based on Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gate Recurrent Unit (GRU) consume large amounts of computational resources while constantly losing the original picture information. This paper addresses the challenges discussed and introduces PSRUNet, a novel model featuring the lightweight ParallelSRU unit. By prioritizing global spatiotemporal features and minimizing redundancy, PSRUNet effectively enhances the model’s early perception of complex spatiotemporal changes. The addition of an encoder-decoder architecture captures high-dimensional image information, and information recall is introduced to mitigate gradient vanishing during deep network training. We evaluated the performance of PSRUNet and analyzed the capabilities of ParallelSRU in real-world applications, including short-term precipitation forecasting, traffic flow prediction, and human behavior prediction. Experimental results across multiple video prediction benchmarks demonstrate that PSRUNet achieves remarkably efficient and cost-effective predictions, making it a promising solution for meeting the real-time and accuracy requirements of practical business scenarios. Increasingly, analytics such as classification and detection suffer from a significant amount of generated visual data. Nonetheless, recent approaches have not given substantial thought to CAD systems within limited capacities at the expense of performance. For that purpose, we proposed an autoencoder-based classification approach for pneumonia recognition, extending the use of the features extracted by autoencoders for compression to enhance efficiency. Thus, we substitute the classification of images with compressed sequences and encoded tensors, representing a more convenient format for managing and storing data. Which significantly minimizes computing costs and enhances transmission bandwidth. We designed CNN model introducing the attention mechanism to the latent space with minimum parameters optimizing the classification complexity. We assess our method's effectiveness on two medical imaging datasets. In addition, we compared latent space classification to multi-resolution image classification performance. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) stands as a prominent global platform for professional mixed martial arts, captivating audiences worldwide. With its continuous growth and globalization efforts, UFC events have garnered significant attention and achieved commendable results. However, as the scale of development expands, the operational demands on UFC events intensify. At its core, UFC thrives on the exceptional performances of its athletes, which serve as the primary allure for audiences. This study aims to enhance the allure of UFC matches and cultivate exceptional athletes by predicting athlete performance on the field. To achieve this, a recurrent neural network prediction model based on Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) is proposed. The model seeks to leverage athlete portraits and characteristics for performance prediction. The proposed methodology involves constructing athlete portraits and analyzing athlete characteristics to develop the prediction model. The BiLSTM-based recurrent neural network is utilized for its ability to capture temporal dependencies in sequential data. The model’s performance is assessed through experimental analysis. Experimental results demonstrate that the athlete performance prediction model achieved an overall accuracy of 0.7524. Comparative analysis reveals that the proposed BiLSTM model outperforms traditional methods such as Linear Regression and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), showcasing superior prediction accuracy. This study introduces a novel approach to predicting athlete performance in UFC matches using a BiLSTM-based recurrent neural network. By leveraging athlete portraits and characteristics, the proposed model offers improved accuracy compared to classical methods. In modern wireless communication systems, the scarcity of spectrum resources poses challenges to the performance and efficiency of the system. Spectrum prediction technology can help systems better plan and schedule resources to respond to the dynamic changes in spectrum. Dynamic change in the spectrum refers to the changes in the radio spectrum in a wireless communication system. It means that the available spectrum resources may change at different times and locations. In response to this current situation, this study first constructs a communication collaborative spectrum sensing model using channel aliasing dense connection networks. Then, combining convolutional neural network and gated cyclic unit network in deep learning technology, a communication spectrum prediction model is built. It aims to achieve accurate perception and prediction of spectrum resources through the aforementioned spectrum sensing and prediction models. The results confirm that the proposed perception model has inconsistent perception accuracy under different number of secondary users, with a maximum of 0.99. It is verified that the proposed spectrum prediction model achieves a high prediction accuracy of 0.95 within 208 s and its performance outperforms current similar models. The results are based on the model's deep learning analysis of massive historical communication data, in which the optimized shuffle dense net model plus convolutional gated recurrent unit model is the key to achieve fast and accurate prediction. On the contrary, the highest spectrum prediction accuracy of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Convolutional Neural Networks-Long Short-Term Memory (ConvLSTM) models are 0.86, 0.90, and 0.85, respectively. And the model needs to run for a longer period of time, up to 324, for ConvLSTM to reach the prediction accuracy value of 0.95. In summary, the perception and prediction model built by this research has good performance, and its application in the field of wireless communication can assist staff in better monitoring spectral changes, thereby making more efficient use of spectral resources. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a persistent metabolic disorder associated with the hormone insulin. The two main types of DM are type 1 (T1DM) and type 2 (T2DM). Physical activity plays a crucial role in the therapy of diabetes, benefiting both types of patients. The detection, recognition, and subsequent classification of physical activity based on type and intensity are integral components of DM treatment. The continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) signal provides the blood glucose (BG) level, and the combination of CGMS and heart rate (HR) signals are potential targets for detecting relevant physical activity from the BG variation point of view. The main objective of the present research is the developing of an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm capable of detecting physical activity using these signals. Using multiple recurrent models, the best-achieved performance of the different classifiers is a 0.99 area under the receiver operating characteristic curve. The application of recurrent neural networks (RNNs) is shown to be a powerful and efficient solution for accurate detection and analysis of physical activity in patients with DM. Technological advances in industry have made it possible to install many connected sensors, generating a great amount of observations at high rate. The advent of Industry 4.0 requires analysis capabilities of heterogeneous data in form of related multivariate time series. However, missing data can degrade processing and lead to bias and misunderstandings or even wrong decision-making. In this paper, a recurrent neural network-based denoising autoencoder is proposed for gap imputation in related multivariate time series, i.e., series that exhibit spatio-temporal correlations. The denoising autoencoder (DAE) is able to reproduce input missing data by learning to remove intentionally added gaps, while the recurrent neural network (RNN) captures temporal patterns and relationships among variables. For that reason, different unidirectional (simple RNN, GRU, LSTM) and bidirectional (BiSRNN, BiGRU, BiLSTM) architectures are compared with each other and to state-of-the-art methods using three different datasets in the experiments. The implementation with BiGRU layers outperforms the others, effectively filling gaps with a low reconstruction error. The use of this approach is appropriate for complex scenarios where several variables contain long gaps. The article presents the results of assessing the effect of humic acids, taken at a concentration of 250 ppm, on the process of induced phytoextraction of heavy metals from soils selected near Norilsk. Phytoextraction was carried out by different types of marigold plants: Tagetes patula and Tagetes erecta. The studies were carried out in greenhouse conditions under controlled spectral illumination (light culture). The experiment lasted 21 days. A time range of vegetation period was chosen due to a short summer period typical of the study region, where it is more rational to keep records of the systemic removal of toxicants from contaminated soils by several cycles of their sowing/cutting per season, already at the juvenile phase of ontogenesis. For elemental analysis, the method of atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma was used. To assess the level of efficiency of metal accumulation, the authors developed and used the original computing neural network CompNN, which allows calculating the cognitive significance index (CSI) based on empirical data on the accumulation of toxicants, both in shoots and roots of plants. The study results showed that the introduction of an organic additive in the form of humic acids into the soil led to inhibition of the growth of the above-ground part of T. patula. As for T. erecta, the rate of accumulation of green plant biomass did not change when humic acids were added. The decrease in the biomass of shoots of T. patula plants is explained by an increase in the accumulation of metals for different experiment variants by 91.6% on average. The content of metals in the shoots of T. erecta under the influence of humic acids, on the contrary, decreased by 17.3% on average. A similar result was also observed in the root zone: the trend of change in the fixation of metals for both plant species was 40.8 and 10.8%, respectively. Calculation of CSI indices also showed that the addition of humic acids in T. patula increases the intensity of metal accumulation from the soil in its biomass in all variants, while in T. erecta, on the contrary, it decreases. The performed cluster analysis demonstrated the fixation of metals in the main buffer zone of plants and also made it possible to isolate nickel into a separate homogeneous series. Based the distribution of this element in the shoots during experiment variants, it was shown that it is closely associated with copper. The correlation coefficients of their accumulation with the CSI index in the shoots of both plants were r = 0.82, 0.87 for Cu and r = 0.87, 0.83 for Ni. The proximity of these values indicates the priority nature of the accumulation of these metals in the plant biomass of marigolds and also characterizes the manifestation of certain interactions between them in contaminated soil by the type of antagonism or synergism. This paper proposes a method of beforehand prediction of electric equipment faults based on chain-linked recurrent neural network algorithm, which takes the operating parameters of power equipment and other relevant environmental factors as inputs, and takes the fault characteristics as output judgment marks, and constructs a machine learning training model to realize the prediction of power equipment faults. The neural network algorithm adopted in this paper adopts a tree structure. Each sub-node can transfer information with its multiple superior nodes, so that the correlation between the data of the front and back nodes can be obtained, which meets the needs of the equipment fault prediction model. Considering that the occurrence of power transformer faults is sudden and greatly affected by changes in the surrounding environment, the input of prediction algorithms should consider more environmental factors. This method takes the historical data of various parameters including meteorological phenomena, geography data, and temperature of adjacent equipment and facilities as the training sample set, improves the learning model, gives the trend curve of each index, and gives a prompt at its threshold to ensure the prediction accuracy and give the index prediction. The greenhouse effect formed by the massive emission of carbon dioxide has caused serious harm to the Earth's environment, in which the power sector constitutes one of the primary contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions. Reducing carbon emissions from electricity plays a pivotal role in minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating the ecological, economic, and social impacts of climate change, while carbon emission prediction provides a valuable point of reference for the formulation of policies to reduce carbon emissions from electricity. The article provides a detailed review of research results on deep learning-based carbon emission prediction. Firstly, the main neural networks applied in the domain of carbon emission forecasting at home and abroad, as well as the models combining other methods and neural networks, are introduced, and the main roles of different methods, when combined with neural networks, are discussed. Secondly, neural networks were used to predict electricity carbon emissions, and the performance of different models on carbon emissions was compared. Finally, the application of neural networks in the realm of the prediction of carbon emissions is summarized, and future research directions are discussed. Transferring the concept of chemical‐driven responses into artificial intelligence technology holds the key to mimicking olfactory for neuromorphic computing of chemical recognition. Currently, artificial olfactory systems are designed based on chemical sensor arrays. Time‐dependent responses of the sensor arrays are processed by artificial neural networks for recognition. However, the sensors generate instantly volatile responses, and algorithms for the processing of the time‐dependent responses have not been involved. The recognition accuracy and speed are severely impeded. A sensor array can only achieve an accuracy of 90% after at least 5 training epochs. Herein an artificial olfactory chemical‐resistant synapse consisting of 3D hierarchical WO3@WO3 nanofibers are demonstrated. The nanofibers exhibit persistent resistance responses through chemical exposures due to the strong chemisorption of water molecules. Typical synaptic behaviors including paired‐pulse facilitation, long‐term −1 short‐term memory, and learning experience have been achieved. Next, a recurrent neural network that is committed to processing the time‐dependent data is used to identify gas‐phase chemicals of 3‐hydroxy‐2‐butanone, triethylamine, and trimethylamine. Training‐free gas recognition has been realized by a WO3@WO3 nanofiber synapse only, in which the accuracy is above 90% at the first epoch. The performance of long-term prediction models is currently impeded due to the mismatch between the nonstationary representations of statistical learning models and the underlying dynamics from real-world systems, which results in low long-term prediction accuracies for many real-world applications. We present a Recurrent Gated Unit-based Mixture Kriging Machine Bayesian Filtering (ReGU-MKMBF) approach for characterizing nonstationary and nonlinear behaviors of one ubiquitous real-world process—dynamic intermittency. It models the transient dynamics in the state space as recurrent transitions between localized stationary segments/attractors. Then, a case study on predicting the onset of pathological symptoms associated with Electrocardiogram signals is presented. The results suggest that ReGU-MKMBF improves the forecasting performance by extending the prediction time horizon with an order of magnitudes while maintaining high accuracies on the foreseen estimates. Implementing the presented approach can subsequently change the current scheme of online monitoring and aftermath mitigation into a prediction and timely prevention for telecardiology. The short‐term load prediction is the critical operation in the peak demand administration and power generation scheduling of buildings that integrated the smart solar microgrid (SSM). Many research studies have proved that hybrid deep learning strategies achieve more accuracy and feasibility in practical applications than individual algorithms. Moreover, many buildings have integrated the SSM on the rooftop with the battery management system (BMS) to enhance energy efficiency management. However, the traditional methodologies only processed the weather parameters and power demand information for short‐term load prediction, ignoring the collected data from SSM and BMS by the advanced metering infrastructures (AMI), which probably improved prediction accuracy. In this research, many accumulated data of building and SSM are collected before methodology implementation. Considering the diversities of accumulated parameters from SSM and BMS, an adaptive convolution neural network long short‐term memory (CNN‐LSTM) is proposed for hourly electrical load prediction. The CNN could extract the critical large‐scale input feature, while the LSTM could achieve better accurate forecasts. The Pearson correlation matrix is calculated for the feature selection scheme from different data units. The hyperparameter tuning is utilized for obtaining the optimized hybrid CNN‐LSTM algorithm. The K‐fold cross‐validation is employed for deep learning algorithm verification, which includes LSTM, GRU, CNN, and Bi‐LSTM methodologies. The results prove that the hybrid CNN‐LSTM achieved outperformed improvements, which are 20.57%, 29.63%, 19.06% in MSE, MAE, MAPE, and 21.24%, 22.02%, 3.82% in validating MSE, MAE, MAPE, respectively. Wireless sensor network (WSN) has more demand nowadays because of their diverse applications. In WSN, sensor node localization has become an interesting topic. The nodes are placed randomly to explore, and the determination of accurate nodes' positions is required. Fixed cost and energy are the main challenges with the sensor, as the location of all nodes that are not maintained. The main aim of this research work is to plan for a new localization method in WSN using a new meta-heuristic concept. The proposed model focuses on two phases: (a) localizing the target nodes and (b) localizing the rest nodes. The optimal selection of target nodes is initially determined by the proposed meta-heuristic model by considering the displacement among the nodes. For performing the optimal localization of rest nodes regarding anchor nodes, the weight of each anchor node is determined, which is done by recurrent neural network (RNN). Furthermore, an objective function concerning the distance and the weight is derived for localizing the rest nodes. 2D materials have important fundamental properties allowing for their use in many potential applications, including quantum computing. Various Van der Waals materials, including Tungsten disulfide (WS2), have been employed to showcase attractive device applications such as light emitting diodes, lasers and optical modulators. To maximize the utility and value of integrated quantum photonics, the wavelength, polarization and intensity of the photons from a quantum emission (QE) must be stable. However, random variation of emission energy, caused by the inhomogeneity in the local environment, is a major challenge for all solid-state single photon emitters. In this work, we assess the random nature of the quantum fluctuations, and we present time series forecasting deep learning models to analyse and predict QE fluctuations for the first time. Our trained models can roughly follow the actual trend of the data and, under certain data processing conditions, can predict peaks and dips of the fluctuations. The ability to anticipate these fluctuations will allow physicists to harness quantum fluctuation characteristics to develop novel scientific advances in quantum computing that will greatly benefit quantum technologies. In recent times, the rapid advancement of deep learning has led to increased interest in utilizing Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals for automatic speech recognition. However, due to the significant variation observed in EEG signals from different individuals, the field of EEG-based speech recognition faces challenges related to individual differences across subjects, which ultimately impact recognition performance. In this investigation, a novel approach is proposed for EEG-based speech recognition that combines the capabilities of Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Graph Attention Network (GAT). The LSTM component of the model is designed to process sequential patterns within the data, enabling it to capture temporal dependencies and extract pertinent features. On the other hand, the GAT component exploits the interconnections among data points, which may represent channels, nodes, or features, in the form of a graph. This innovative model not only delves deeper into the connection between connectivity features and thinking as well as speaking states, but also addresses the challenge of individual disparities across subjects. The experimental results showcase the effectiveness of the proposed approach. When considering the thinking state, the average accuracy for single subjects and cross-subject are 65.7% and 67.3% respectively. Similarly, for the speaking state, the average accuracies were 65.4% for single subjects and 67.4% for cross-subject conditions, all based on the KaraOne dataset. These outcomes highlight the model’s positive impact on the task of cross-subject EEG speech recognition. Recurrent neural networks (RNNs) are excellent solvers for time-variant linear matrix–vector inequality (TVLMVI). However, it is difficult for traditional RNNs to track the theoretical solution of TVLMVI under non-ideal conditions [e.g., noisy environment]. Therefore, by introducing a novel nonlinear activation function (NNAF) and time-variant-gain, a new super-predefined-time convergence and noise-tolerant RNN (SPCNT-RNN) is proposed to acquire an online solution to TVLMVI in noisy environment. The difference between SPCNT-RNN and traditional fixed-parameter RNNs (FP-RNNs) is that the error function equation of SPCNT-RNN has NNAF and time-variant-gain coefficient. Due to this difference, the SPCNT-RNN can achieve super-predefined-time convergence in both noise-free and noisy environments, which is superior to that of existing RNNs. The stability, super-predefined-time convergence, and robustness of SPCNT-RNN are theoretically demonstrated. Predicting gait recovery after a spinal cord injury (SCI) during an acute rehabilitation phase is important for planning rehabilitation strategies. However, few studies have been conducted on this topic to date. In this study, we developed a deep learning-based prediction model for gait recovery after SCI upon discharge from an acute rehabilitation facility. Data were collected from 405 patients with acute SCI admitted to the acute rehabilitation facility of Korea University Anam Hospital between June 2008 and December 2022. The dependent variable was Functional Ambulation Category at the time of discharge (FAC-DC). Seventy-one independent variables were selected from the existing literature: basic information, International Standards for Neurological Classification of SCI scores, neurogenic bladders, initial FAC, and somatosensory-evoked potentials of the lower extremity. Recurrent neural network (RNN), linear regression (LR), Ridge, and Lasso methods were compared for FAC-DC prediction in terms of the root-mean-squared error (RMSE). RNN variable importance, which is the RMSE gap between a complete RNN model and an RNN model excluding a certain variable, was used to evaluate the contribution of this variable. Based on the results of this study, the performance of the RNN was far better than that of LR, Ridge, and Lasso. The respective RMSEs were 0.3738, 2.2831, 1.3161, and 1.0246 for all the participants; 0.3727, 1.7176, 1.3914, and 1.3524 for those with trauma; and 0.3728, 1.7516, 1.1012, and 0.8889 for those without trauma. In terms of RNN variable importance, lower-extremity motor strength (right and left ankle dorsiflexors, right knee extensors, and left long toe extensors) and the neurological level of injury were ranked among the top five across the boards. Therefore, initial FAC was the seventh, third, and ninth most important predictor for all participants, those with trauma, and those without trauma, respectively. In conclusion, this study developed a deep learning-based prediction model with excellent performance for gait recovery after SCI at the time of discharge from an acute rehabilitation facility. The boom-type roadheader plays a crucial role in coal mining. However, conducting the real-time monitoring of the mechanical performance and comprehensive adaptive cutting in the dynamic cutting process are challenging. To address these issues, a digital twin system that integrates the elements of "shape, performance, and control" for roadheaders is presented in this paper. The system comprises three components: physical space, service space, and twin space. The service space forms the core of the entire system. Within this space, twin models and control models are created using numerical simulation, artificial intelligence and multi-source data fusion technology. These models serve the purpose of predicting the roadheader's mechanical performance and controlling the swing speed of the cutting arm. The physical space is built using technologies such as robot kinematics, electrical systems, hydraulic transmission, and other relevant techniques. This approach facilitates the transmission of multi-sensor data to twin models. The control model then manages the roadheader's function based on the output signals from the control model. The twin space is constructed utilizing physical rendering engines, databases, and 3D modelling tools. This space visualizes and stores the movement, performance, and control parameters of the roadheader. The results demonstrate that the average absolute error between the measured data from the test's three position strain gauges and the predicted data from the twin system is 10.38 MPa. Furthermore, the twin system achieves an average update interval of 0.34 s, allowing real-time stress monitoring of the structural components of the roadheader and preventing damage caused by overload. The proposed control model enables adaptive adjustment of the swing speed of the cutting arm in approximately 0.3 s. Cardiac arrest is a sudden loss of heart function with serious consequences. In developing countries, healthcare professionals use clinical documentation to track patient information. These data are used to predict the development of cardiac arrest. We published a dataset through open access to advance the research domain. While using this dataset, our work revolved around generating and utilizing synthetic data by harnessing the potential of synthetic data vaults. We conducted a series of experiments by employing state-of-the-art machine-learning techniques. These experiments aimed to assess the performance of our developed predictive model in identifying the likelihood of developing cardiac arrest. This approach was effective in identifying the risk of cardiac arrest in in-patients, even in the absence of electronic medical recording systems. The study evaluated 112 patients who had been transferred from the emergency treatment unit to the cardiac medical ward. The developed model achieved 96% accuracy in predicting the risk of developing cardiac arrest. In conclusion, our study showcased the potential of leveraging clinical documentation and synthetic data to create robust predictive models for cardiac arrest. The object of the research is the Core Inflation Forecasting. The paper investigates the performance of the novel model routine in the exercise of the Core Inflation Forecasting. It aggregates 300+ components into 6 by the similarity of their dynamics using an updated DTW algorithm fine-tuned for monthly time series and the K-Means algorithm for grouping. Then the SARIMA model extracts linear and seasonal components, which is followed by an LSTM model that captures non-linearities and interdependencies. It solves the problem of high-quality inflation forecasting using a disaggregated dataset. While standard and traditional econometric techniques are focused on the limited sets of data that consists just a couple of variables, proposed methodology is able to capture richer part of the volatility comprising more information. The model is compared with a huge pool of other models, simple ones like Random Walk and SARIMA, to ML models like XGBoost, Random Forest and simple LSTM. While all Data Science model shows decent performance, the DTW+K-Means+SARIMA+LSTM routine gives the best RMSE over 1-month ahead and 2-month ahead forecasts, which proves the high quality of the proposed forecasting model and solves the key problem of the paper. It is explained by the model’s capability to capture both linear/seasonal patterns from the data using SARIMA part as long as it non-linear and interdependent using LSTM approach. Multivariate Time Series (MTS) forecasting has gained significant importance in diverse domains. Although Recurrent Neural Network (RNN)-based approaches have made notable advancements in MTS forecasting, they do not effectively tackle the challenges posed by noise and unordered data. Drawing inspiration from advancing the Transformer model, we introduce a transformer-based method called STFormer to address this predicament. The STFormer utilizes a two-stage Transformer to capture spatio-temporal relationships and tackle the issue of noise. Furthermore, the MTS incorporates adaptive spatio-temporal graph structures to tackle the issue of unordered data specifically. The Transformer incorporates graph embedding to combine spatial position information with long-term temporal connections. Experimental results based on typical finance and environment datasets demonstrate that STFormer surpasses alternative baseline forecasting models and achieves state-of-the-art results for single-step horizon and multistep horizon forecasting. Dense medium separation is one of the most widely used methods for coal beneficiation, and an accurate estimation of product coal ash is the prerequisites to maximize the resource value. In this work, data pre-cleaning and multi-layer feature learning process of deep learning are explored to predict the product quality more accurately. The research results show that, the deep learning model considering the time series characteristics of process variables can predict the change of product quality better, which could be attributed to the fact that the full considers time series relationship between process data and product quality. Specifically, the prediction value obtained by using a single-layer, multi-unit recurrent neural network model (GRU) is improved with Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) at 0.061, and the RMSE for multi-step prediction (10 min) is 0.262. What's more, the prediction error gradually decreases and tends to be smooth with increasing time step. It is suggested that the time step used for data reconstruction should be the time of raw coal coming through to the clean coal belt. This work provides an innovative idea for improving online prediction of coal ash and is of significant importance for precise control of dense medium separation in application. The purpose is to explore the effect of iris image acquisition and real-time detection systems based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and improve the efficiency of iris real-time detection. Based on existing iris data acquisition and detection systems, this study uses the light field focusing algorithm to collect iris data in live, introduces CNN in Deep Learning (DL) algorithm, and designs an iris image acquisition and live detection system based on CNN. Afterward, Radial Basis Function (RBF)-Support Vector Machines (SVM) algorithm is used to classify iris feature information. Based on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), a system for iris image acquisition, processing, and display is constructed. Finally, the performance of the constructed system and algorithm are analyzed through simulation experiments. The research results show that the proposed algorithm can automatically select the qualified iris images in live, significantly improve the recognition accuracy of the whole iris recognition system, and the average time of live quality evaluation for each frame image is less than 0.05 s. The focal point of the investigation involves the exploration of a CNN-based iris image acquisition and real-time detection system, with an emphasis on enhancing the efficiency of real-time iris detection. The innovation of this research lies in the integration of deep learning algorithms and light-field focusing techniques, applied to the reconstruction of a FPGA system. Further, the proposed algorithm is compared with Super-Resolution Using Very Deep Convolutional Networks (VDSR), Deeply Recursive Convolutional Network (DRCN), Residual Dense Network (RDN), and Bicubic. The comparison analysis suggests that the recognition accuracy of the proposed algorithm is the highest, close to 100%. Additionally, the proposed algorithm is compared with the Image Quality Evaluation-based Algorithm (IQA) and the Feature Extraction-based Algorithm (FEA), showing that the proposed RBF-SVM algorithm has higher classification accuracy (96.38%) and lower Average Classification Error Rate (ACER) (3.69%). Ensuring the correctness of road network data is critical for navigation, traffic control and urban planning. Errors like missing roads and absent connections can hinder its quality. Trajectory data emerges as a cost-effective source to uncover such errors. Existing methods often analyze the mismatches between trajectories and road networks to identify specific errors. They heavily rely on manually established rules and fail to fully leverage the diverse patterns of trajectories and the underlying road network structure. The article introduces a sequential classification approach to detect diverse road network errors. It starts with partial map matching (PMM) to associate trajectories with a road network, allowing unmatched portions. Context features are subsequently extracted by encoding patterns in the map matching (MM) outputs, raw trajectories and road network. Finally, a bidirectional recurrent neural network (BiRNN) model is trained to identify the network error category for each trajectory point. Experiments were performed on detecting errors in OpenStreetMap (OSM) road network with a real-world trajectory dataset. It demonstrates that the proposed method achieves accuracy over 96%, significantly surpassing four baselines. An ablation study confirms the necessity of considering different types of context features. Privacy and security are the most concerning topics while using cloud-based applications. Malware detection in cloud applications is important in identifying application malware activity. So, a novel Goat-based Recurrent Forensic Mechanism (GbRFM) is used to detect the attack and provide the attack type in cloud-based applications. At first, the dataset is pre-processed in the hidden phase, and the errorless features are extracted. The proposed model also trains the output of the hidden layer to identify and classify the malware. The wild goat algorithm enhances the identification rate by accurately detecting the attack. Using the NSL-KDD data, the preset research was verified, and the outcomes were evaluated. The performance assessment indicates that the developed model gained a 99.26% accuracy rate for the NSL-KDD dataset. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the utilization of artificial neural networks (ANNs) in learning models that address the nonlinear anisotropic flow and hysteresis retention behavior of deformable porous materials. Herein, the micro‐geometries of various networks of porous Bentheimer Sandstones subjected to several degrees of strain from the literature are considered. For the generation of the database required for the training, validation, and testing of the machine learning (ML) models, single‐phase and biphasic lattice Boltzmann (LB) simulations are performed. The anisotropic nature of the intrinsic permeability is investigated for the single‐phase LB simulations. Thereafter, the database contains the computed average fluid velocities versus the pressure gradients. In this database, the range of applied fluid pressure gradients includes Darcy as well as non‐Darcy flows. The generated output from the single‐phase flow simulations is implemented in a feed‐forward neural network, representing a path‐independent informed graph‐based model. Concerning the two‐phase LB simulations, the Shan‐Chen multiphase LB model is used to generate the retention curves of the cyclic drying/wetting processes in the deformed porous networks. Consequently, two different ML path‐dependent approaches, that is, 1D convolutional neural network and the recurrent neural network, are used to model the biphasic flow through the deformable porous materials. A comparison in terms of accuracy and speed of training between the two approaches is presented. AbstractLatent factor models can perform spatio-temporal forecasting (i.e., predicting future responses at unmeasured as well as measured locations) by modeling temporal dependence using latent factors and considering spatial dependence using a spatial prior on factor loadings. However, they may fail to capture complex spatio-temporal dependence because the latent factors are typically assumed to follow a classical linear time series model, such as a vector autoregressive model. In this article, we propose a deep latent factor model for spatio-temporal forecasting that can model complex spatio-temporal dependence more flexibly by leveraging the high expressive power of a deep neural network. Specifically, the latent factors are modeled using a recurrent neural network and the factor loadings are modeled using a distance-based Gaussian process. The proposed model allows the number of latent factors to be inferred from the data using a beta-Bernoulli process, which enables computationally more efficient implementation compared to previous methods. Machine learning (ML) algorithms are increasingly applied to structure health monitoring (SHM) problems. However, their application to pile damage detection (PDD) is hindered by the complexity of the problem. A novel multi-sensor pile damage detection (MSPDD) method is proposed in this paper to extend the application of ML algorithms in the automatic identification of PDD. The time-series signals collected by multiple sensors during the pile integrity test are first processed by the traveling wave decomposition (TWD) theory and are then input into a hybrid one-dimensional (1D) convolutional and recurrent neural network. The hybrid neural network can achieve the automatic multi-task identification of pile damage detection based on the time series of MSPDD results. Finally, the analytical solution-based sample set is utilized to evaluate the performance of the proposed hybrid model. Rainfall and reservoir water level are commonly regarded as the two major influencing factors for reservoir landslides and are employed for landslide displacement prediction, yet their daily data are readily available with current monitoring technology, which makes a more refined analysis possible. However, until now, few efforts have been made to predict landslide displacements using daily data, which is likely to substantially improve accuracy and is crucial for landslide early warning. A novel feature enhancement approach for extracting critical characteristics from daily rainfall and reservoir water level data for use in landslide displacement prediction is proposed in this study. Six models, including gated recurrent units (GRUs), long short-term memory (LSTM), and support vector regression (SVR) with an unenhanced dataset and GRU-E, LSTM-E, and SVR-E with an enhanced dataset, were employed for displacement predictions at four GPS monitoring stations on the Baijiabao landslide, a typical step-like reservoir landslide. The results show that the accuracy values of all the enhanced models were significantly improved, and the GRU-E model achieved the most significant improvement, with the RMSE decreasing by 24.39% and R2 increasing by 0.2693, followed by the LSTM-E and SVR-E models. Further, the GRU-E model consistently outperformed the other models, achieving the highest R2 of 0.6265 and the lowest RMSE of 16.5208 mm, significantly superior than the others. This study indicates the feasibility of improving the accuracy of landslide monthly displacement predictions with finer monitoring data and provides valuable insights for future research. This paper addresses the dynamic quaternion-valued Sylvester equation (DQSE) using the quaternion real representation and the neural network method. To transform the Sylvester equation in the quaternion field into an equivalent equation in the real field, three different real representation modes for the quaternion are adopted by considering the non-commutativity of quaternion multiplication. Based on the equivalent Sylvester equation in the real field, a novel recurrent neural network model with an integral design formula is proposed to solve the DQSE. The proposed model, referred to as the fixed-time error-monitoring neural network (FTEMNN), achieves fixed-time convergence through the action of a state-of-the-art nonlinear activation function. The fixed-time convergence of the FTEMNN model is theoretically analyzed. Two examples are presented to verify the performance of the FTEMNN model with a specific focus on fixed-time convergence. The advancement of digital microscopic scanning has made the study of image processing as well as categorization an exciting field of diagnostic studies. The literature describes a number of methods for detecting acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) using blood smear pictures. The goal of this research is to create an efficient approach for segmenting and detecting leukemia. This research has created a leukemia diagnosis module predicated on deep learning (DL) using blood smear pictures. Pre-processing, segmentation, extraction of features, and classification are performed here by the identification scheme. The presented hybrid model of African Buffalo and African Vulture Optimization (AB-AVO) performs the segmentation process, in which cytoplasm and nucleus regions are segmented. The Local Directional Pattern (LDP) and color histogram characteristics have been then retrieved from the segmented pictures and given into the presented Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) for categorization. The ALL-IDB1 and ALL-IDB2 databases' blood smear pictures are taken into account for the investigation and assessed using metrics including F1-score, sensitivity, dice coefficient, precision, specificity, recall, and accuracy. The presented AB-AVO-RNN approach exhibits 100% accuracy, according to simulation data. Modern methodologies are used to compare the effectiveness of the suggested AB-AVO-RNN methodology. Due to the variability, proneness to outside influences, and constantly fluctuating nature of ultra-short-term wind speed sequences, wind speed forecasts in wind farms are not precise. A method to predict ultra-short-term wind speed based on the empirical wavelet transform and a combined model is proposed. Correct ultra-short-term wind speed estimations are crucial for preserving the stability of the electrical power system. Firstly, the empirical wavelet transform technique is used to decompose the ultra-short-term wind speed time sequences into multiple modal constituents; secondly, sample entropy can be utilized for calculating the complexities of the decomposed data elements, and those that can be rebuilt with a similar level of sophistication are rebuilt; after this, the sophistication of the rebuilt components is analyzed, and the improved sparrow search algorithm optimized extreme learning machine and gated recurrent neural network are used as prediction models for various sections; then, an improved sparrow search algorithm to optimize the weight coefficients of each prediction model. Finally, the final prediction results are obtained by multiplying the prediction results of each method by the resulting optimal weight coefficients cumulatively. The research objects are three sets of measured ultra-short-term data on wind speeds with analysis intervals of 15 min and 5 min. This study presents a new method based on three types of deep learning-based models (DLM) for estimation of water parameters. The DLM models were recurrent neural networks (RNN), long short-term memory (LSTM), and bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM). The study areas were the Colorado River basin in the United States and the Mighan Wetland in Iran. The electrical conductivity (EC), dissolved oxygen (DO), total dissolved solids (TDS), chloride ions (Cl), and river flow rate (debi) were simulated by the DLM models. The Wilson score (WS) uncertainty analysis results for Colorado modelling showed that LSTMdebi, RNNDO, and RNNEC were the best models in simulating due to having the lowest errors (Mean ei equal to 0.36, −1.50, and −0.59), respectively. Objectives: With smartphones and wearable devices becoming ubiquitous, they offer an opportunity for large-scale voice sampling. This systematic review explores the application of deep learning models for the automated analysis of voice samples to detect vocal cord pathologies. We searched MEDLINE and Embase databases for original publications on deep learning applications for diagnosing vocal cord pathologies between 2002 and 2022. Risk of bias was assessed using Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies-2 (QUADAS-2). Results: Out of the 14 studies that met the inclusion criteria, data from a total of 3037 patients were analyzed. All studies were retrospective. Deep learning applications targeted Reinke's edema, nodules, polyps, cysts, unilateral cord paralysis, and vocal fold cancer detection. Most pathologies had detection accuracy above 90%. Thirteen studies (93%) exhibited a high risk of bias and concerns about applicability. Conclusions: Technology holds promise for enhancing the screening and diagnosis of vocal cord pathologies. Groundwater serves as a primary source of public‐water and agricultural supply in many areas of Alabama, in particular during drought periods. Long‐term climatic models for the southeastern United States indicate that the region will be subjected to more intense and more frequent precipitation events, with no overall change in the amount of precipitation, resulting in increased runoff and reduced aquifer recharge. Reliable prediction of groundwater levels would be beneficial to water resources decision makers and stakeholders especially for time‐sensitive decisions. This paper uses a compound application of continuous wavelet transform (CWT) analysis and long short‐term memory (LSTM) framework to address the major question with regards to groundwater level: "how long does it take for groundwater to respond to major precipitation events and what is the magnitude of the response?" CWT analysis is used to answer the "how long" part in this question, while the LSTM is used to answer the "what is the magnitude" part of the question. The insights from CWT analysis related to the short‐term and long‐term response in groundwater level were used to set the parameters of the LSTM model. The LSTM model uses daily groundwater levels, precipitation, and maximum/minimum temperatures as input data. The model was able to provide predictions within a 95% confidence interval of actual groundwater levels. The findings of this study suggest a workflow for groundwater level forecasting in the wells of Alabama given a minimum amount of easy‐to‐measure and widely available data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study proposes an efficient method for computing State Vectors in Sequence-to-Sequence (SVSeq2Seq) architecture to improve the performance of sequence data forecasting, which associates each element with other elements instead of relying only on nearby elements. First, the dependency between two elements is adaptively captured by calculating the relative importance between hidden layers. Second, tensor train decomposition is used to address the issue of dimensionality catastrophe. Third, we further select seven instantiated baseline models for data prediction and compare them with our proposed model on six real-world datasets. The results show that the Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of our SVSeq2Seq model exhibit significant advantages over the other seven baseline models in predicting the three datasets, i.e., weather, electricity, and PEMS, with MSE/MAE values as low as 0.259/0.260, 0.186/0.285 and 0.113/0.222, respectively. Furthermore, the ablation study demonstrates that the SVSeq2Seq model possesses distinct advantages in sequential forecasting tasks. It is observed that replacing SVSeq2Seq with LPRcode and NMTcode resulted in an increase under an MSE of 18.05 and 10.11 times, and an increase under an MAE of 16.54 and 9.8 times, respectively. In comparative experiments with support vector machines (SVM) and random forest (RF), the performance of the SVSeq2Seq model is improved by 56.88 times in the weather dataset and 73.78 times in the electricity dataset under the MSE metric, respectively. Vigorous research has been conducted to accumulate biological and theoretical knowledge about neurodevelopmental disorders, including molecular, neural, computational, and behavioral characteristics; however, these findings remain fragmentary and do not elucidate integrated mechanisms. An obstacle is the heterogeneity of developmental pathways causing clinical phenotypes. Additionally, in symptom formations, the primary causes and consequences of developmental learning processes are often indistinguishable. Herein, we review developmental neurorobotic experiments tackling problems related to the dynamic and complex properties of neurodevelopmental disorders. Specifically, we focus on neurorobotic models under predictive processing lens for the study of developmental disorders. By constructing neurorobotic models with predictive processing mechanisms of learning, perception, and action, we can simulate formations of integrated causal relationships among neurodynamical, computational, and behavioral characteristics in the robot agents while considering developmental learning processes. This framework has the potential to bind neurobiological hypotheses (excitation-inhibition imbalance and functional disconnection), computational accounts (unusual encoding of uncertainty), and clinical symptoms. Developmental neurorobotic approaches may serve as a complementary research framework for integrating fragmented knowledge and overcoming the heterogeneity of neurodevelopmental disorders. The sparse prior has been widely adopted to establish data models for numerous applications. In this context, most of them are based on one of three foundational paradigms: the conventional sparse representation, the convolutional sparse representation, and the multi‐layer convolutional sparse representation. When the data morphology has been adequately addressed, a sparse representation can be obtained by solving the sparse coding problem specified by the data model. This article presents a comprehensive overview of these three models and their corresponding sparse coding problems and demonstrates that they can be solved using convex and non‐convex optimization approaches. When the data morphology is not known or cannot be analyzed, it must be learned from training data, thereby formulating dictionary learning problems. This article addresses two different dictionary learning paradigms. In an unsupervised scenario, dictionary learning involves the alternating or joint resolution of sparse coding and dictionary updating. Another option is to create a recurrent neural network by unrolling algorithms designed to solve sparse coding problems. These networks can then be used in a supervised learning setting to facilitate the training of dictionaries via forward‐backward optimization. A continuous monitoring of neurological status can help in reporting the physical and mental health of a person. This can be capitalized for building a healthcare tracking system using a wearable device and a handheld mobile device. In this paper, we have used the non-EEG physiological biosignals dataset which gives practicability among subjects for acquiring data easily from wearable device sensors linearly and comfortably rather than the way of putting the subjects in a cumbersome setup laboratory. This paper proposes a custom fully convolutional-LSTM (FCN-LSTM) network to identify the neurological status of a subject using multivariate time series physiological sensor data. The proposed architecture uses parallel stacks of the convolutional layers and LSTM cells. This combination of different network types is significant for the selected problem as the fully convolutional section of the model extracts the local spatial features in the data, while the LSTM network handles the high-level features and temporal dependencies. The proposed FCN-LSTM model yielded a high accuracy of 98.6% and a precision of 98% on the non-EEG dataset from UT-Dallas. The average accuracy of single-subject results of the dataset using the proposed model was observed to be 99.26%. The results from the proposed model are significantly improved when compared with various state-of-the-art works on this problem. These results strongly suggest that this model, when put on a wearable device, can be effectively used to detect the neurological status or stress that the subject may be going through in real time. Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women and it produces a huge amount of death rate in the world. Early recognition is lessening its impact. The early recognition of breast cancer could convince patients to receive surgical therapy, which will significantly improve the chance of restoration. This information is used by the machine learning technique to find links between them and appraise our forecasts of fresh occurrences. Later recognition of breast cancer can lead to death. An accurate prescient framework for breast cancer prediction is urgently needed in the current era. In order to accomplish the objective, an adaptive ensemble model is proposed for breast cancer prognosis prediction using data. At the initial stage, the raw data are fetched from benchmark datasets. It is then followed by data cleaning and preprocessing. Subsequently, the pre-processed data is fed into the Improved Variational Autoencoder (IVAE), where the deep features are extracted. Finally, the resultant features are given as input to the Ensemble-based Serial Cascaded Attention Network (ESCANet), which is built with Deep Temporal Convolution Network (DTCN), Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM), and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). The effectiveness of the model is validated and compared with conventional methodologies. Accurate and timely precipitation forecasts are critical in modern society, influencing both economic activity and daily life. While deep learning methods leveraging remotely sensed radar data have become prevalent for precipitation nowcasting, longer-term forecasting remains challenging. This is due to accumulated errors in deep learning models and insufficient information about precipitation systems over longer time horizons. To address these challenges, we introduce the Short-Term Precipitation Forecast Network (STPF-Net), a recurrent neural network designed for longer-term precipitation prediction. STPF-Net uses a multi-tier structure with varying temporal resolutions to mitigate the accumulated errors during longer forecasts. Additionally, its transformer-based module incorporates larger spatial contexts, providing more complete information about precipitation systems. We evaluated STPF-Net on radar data from southeastern China, training separate models for 6 and 12 h forecasts. Quantitative results demonstrate STPF-Net achieved superior accuracy and lower errors compared to benchmark deep learning and numerical weather prediction models. Visualized case studies indicate reasonably coherent 6 h predictions from STPF-Net versus other methods. For 12 h forecasts, while STPF-Net outperformed other models, it still struggled with storm initiation over longer forecasting time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
