The Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) represents a transformative phase in industrial development, characterized by advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). This shift poses significant challenges and opportunities for industries, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Addressing the readiness of HVAC students for IR 4.0, this study investigates the gap in skills and competencies required in this new era. It specifically examines the preparedness of final year bachelor’s degree students in HVAC, focusing on the balance between technical and non-technical skills. Employing a qualitative descriptive research design, the study involved a sample of 100 final year HVAC students from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). A structured questionnaire, developed based on a thorough literature review and validated through expert reviews and a pilot study, was used to collect data. The questionnaire assessed students' self-evaluation of their readiness, understanding of technical skills, and development of non-technical skills relevant to IR 4.0. The analysis revealed that students possess a high level of perceived readiness for IR 4.0, with non-technical skills emerging as significant contributors to their preparedness. These skills accounted for 44% of the variance in students' readiness. The findings underscore the importance of integrating non-technical skills into the HVAC curriculum, highlighting their role in equipping students to navigate the evolving technological landscape of IR 4.0. Along with the development of technology, Augmented Reality (AR) has been used as a teaching aid to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Nevertheless, the use of AR technology in teaching and learning session in Vocational College is still at a minimal level. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the level of students' acceptance of AR technology from the aspects of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and attitude. A total of 114 students who took the Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (PPU) program at Batu Pahat Vocational College, Kluang Vocational College, Muar Vocational College and Segamat Vocational College were involved in this study. The distribution of the questionnaire for this study is using google form through the online platform. This study uses descriptive analysis method (mean and standard deviation). The reliability value for this study instrument is ? = 0.890. Overall, the results of the study showed that the level of perceived usefulness, the level of perceived ease of use and the level of attitude were at a high level with a mean value (M = 4.34, M = 4.36, M = 4.25). In conclusion, the results of this study indicate that most students have a high level of acceptance of the use of AR technology in teaching and learning session. In this regard, Vocational College should strive to enhance the use of AR technology so that the teaching and learning process can be carried out more effectively.

Skills and job mismatch issues have become common and recurring issues in Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET). This issue is associated with the transfer of learning that involves various factors such as the area of training, certification level, curriculum, instructors, facilities and resources and industry recognition. In line with the Baldwin & Ford model, learning transfer involves three major factors such as the trainee’s characteristics, the training design and working environment. Therefore, identify the factors which contribute to the effective transfer of learning is necessary. This study attempts to identify which factors are contributing to learning transfer based on National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS) system in skill institutes in Malaysia to workplace. This is because the lack of relevant studies related to the learning transfer on the NOSS system and at once makes it difficult to emphasize the factors to be considered for effective transfer of learning. The design of the survey study through the distribution of questionnaires to 309 Malaysian Skills Certificate trainees was done to generalize the study findings. This study used the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) tool to validate the model. PLS-SEM is choose because it can predict and explain constructs target. Then it can explore the relationship between the construct. Besides that, PLS SEM is chosen because this method can be done on complex structure equation model that consists more constructs and indicators. PLS-SEM can also control both a reflective and formative constructs. Findings indicate that work environment and training design positively influences learning transfer be represented by generalization and retention construct. The purpose of this study was done to develop a mobile application framework based on Competency Based Education (CBE) in Technical and Vocational Education. CBE approach in teaching and learning should be applied because these approach is suitable for the skill-based education. In technological advancement, mobile application approach causes student have their own control in teaching and learning, so that it can be implemented seamlessly and more effectively. This research had been carried out is a qualitative method that has gone through three phases to get a framework for the mobile app based on CBE. The instruments used are structured interview and evaluators' reliability review form. The study sample consisted of 6 experts both in CBE and technology for the interview session and 3 experts in TVET for reliability data verification. The raw data obtained from the interviews has gone through thematic analysis process using Atlas.ti software. The results, 36 items identified as characteristics of CBE in the mobile application with average Cohen Kappa Index Approval coefficient was 0.9 indicating a very good reliability scale. The findings of this study consists 33 items with seven constructs approved after the inter-rater reliability among the expert. Implication from this research could be used as guidance in the development of instructional mobile application, particularly in the Technical and Vocational Education and as an instrument for evaluating existing instructional mobile applications.

Modul ini dibangunkan untuk memudahkan dan meningkatkan pemahaman pelajar FPTV dalam BBM 30103 (Fluid Mechanics). Pembangunan Modul ini dibuat dengan menggunakan Model Pembangunan Modul Sidek (MPMS), di mana strategi dan media dipilih dengan teliti. Strategi untuk pendekatan gaya persembahan adalah menggunakan Flipbook dan video sebagai media utama untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelajar. Pelajar boleh menggunakan modul secara bebas dengan memuat turun modul melalui pautan yang disediakan oleh pensyarah. Modul kemudian diuji oleh tiga pensyarah pakar dalam bidang mekanikal dan multimedia menggunakan borang soal selidik yang disahkan. Soal selidik merangkumi tiga aspek penting dari modul iaitu interaktiviti modul, kandungan modul, dan kesesuaian modul. Hasil tinjauan mendapati bahawa semua aspek yang diuji mempunyai peratusan skor yang memuaskan melebihi 80%. Modul mekanik bendalir ini boleh digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman asas pelajar FPTV mengenai pengetahuan dan kaedah analisis mekanik bendalir serta membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan mekanik bendalir menggunakan pengetahuan dan kemahiran analisis.

Kajian ini merupakan pembangunan tenaga solar menggunakan konsep hibrid. Matlamat utama yang difokuskan dalam pembangunan produk ini ialah menghasilkan sistem tenaga solar yang dapat membantu elektrik domestik dalam penggunaan penyaman udara. Seterusnya objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mereka bentuk, membangunkan dan menilai kebolehfungsian tenaga solar menggunakan konsep hibrid. Kaedah reka bentuk model ADDIE yang terdapat lima fasa utama yang iaitu analisis, reka bentuk, pembangunan, perlaksanaan dan penilaian telah digunakan dalam pembangunan tenaga solar menggunakan konsep hibrid ini. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa dengan menggunakan tenaga solar pada penyaman udara dapat menurunkan suhu sebanyak 33% dari suhu permulaan sehingga bateri memberi amaran untuk berhenti. Selain itu juga dapatan kajian menunjukan penggunaan arus tenaga solar yang lebih rendah berbanding elektrik domestik dengan perbezaan 0.5 ampere untuk arus permulaan dan 0.1 untuk arus operasi. Pembangunan sistem tenaga solar ini dianggap sebagai satu kaedah alternatif yang mesra pengguna dan teknologi hijau yang meningkatkan penjimatan dalam penyaman udara. Akhir sekali pembangunkan produk tenaga solar menggunakan konsep hibrid merupakan satu alternatif lain untuk mengurangan tenaga elektrik bagi kegunaan sistem penyaman udara yang sedia ada.

Tujuan kajian ini dilaksanakan adalah untuk mendapatkan maklumat bagi fasa kajian keperluan bagi laman web e-LK yang dibangunkan berpandu kepada Model Rekabentuk Hannafin dan Peck. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kajian eksperimental benar bagi ujian pra dan ujian pos terhadap satu kumpulan rawatan sahaja. Sampel kajian yang dipilih adalah terdiri daripada 36 orang pelajar yang mengambil jurusan Diploma Kejuruteraan Mekanikal (Am) dan mereka mengambil mata pelajaran Lukisan Kejuruteraan. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan adalah borang soal selidik yang terdiri daripada dua bahagian item iaitu bahagian A dan bahagian B. Pada bahagian A merupakan maklumat demografi responden yang akan digunakan untuk memperolehi maklumat. Seterusnya pada bahagian B merupakan fasa kajian keperluan yang merangkumi empat peringkat iaitu (1) mengenal pasti matlamat pembelajaran, (2) menganalisis kandungan pelajaran LK, (3) menganalisis keperluan pelajar dan akhir sekali (4) Ujian Beta. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui analisis skor min. Hasil kajian mendapati maklumat dapatan matlamat pembelajaran, kandungan pelajaran LK dan keperluan pelajar dapat membantu pengkaji dalam membangunkan laman web e-LK mengikut kehendak pengguna. Skor min bagi media teks dan elemen interaktif perlu diambil kira dalam mereka bentuk laman web ini.

The cultivation of Grey Oyster Mushrooms is influenced by several factors such as ambient temperature, humidity, light and ventilation. The unpredictable Malaysian weather makes it difficult for this plant to get the optimum temperature to grow healthy and avoid bacteria. Hence, the development of an Automatic Environmental Control System of Grey Mushrooms House serves to solve the problem related to temperature and humidity for the cultivation of Grey Oyster Mushrooms. The main objective of this study is to design the Automatic Environmental Control System of Grey Oyster Mushrooms House, to develop a system to control the temperature, humidity and water level tank in the house of grey oyster mushrooms and to test the functionality of the Automatic Environmental Control System of Grey Mushrooms House. This study was developed by using the Waterfall Model which involves five phases. The five phases are Requirement Analysis Phase, Design Phase, Operation Phase, Testing Phase and Maintenance Phase. Besides, the Automatic Environmental Control System of Grey Mushrooms House successfully detects and control the temperature and humidity by using the DHT22 sensor and sends the data to the Blynk to run the system automatically when the temperature exceeds 30˚C or the humidity is less than 70%. This study involves the use of technology electronic components such as WiFi Module ModeMCU ESP8266, DHT22 sensor, Ultrasonic sensor and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The development of the Automatic Environmental Control System of Grey Mushrooms House might help agropreneurs to control mushrooms house more systematically, efficiently and also reduces the rate of damage to the mushrooms due to excessive mattering process. The findings of the study are evidenced by confirmation from experts. Improvements can be made by using solar energy as power and placing indicators such as Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights and even alarms to indicate the system is operating.

The safety aspect is important in public life does not matter in the city or in rural areas. Results from the study found the first half of the year 2016 of 6,662 cases of house intrusion reported by Bernama. The objective of this study was to design, developing and testing and functional smart theft alarm with image to improve levels of safety at house. To ensure the success of this project, researchers adopted the model of the development of the prototype as the methodology of the project. Researchers using the raspberry Pi as unit controller to control this system. Telegram application was used on smart phone to able this system sent image using internet. Three experts have considered the prototype of this product. As a result of the development of the prototype of this product, the researchers found that the system can notify and sent image to house owner through the Telegram application. Application on the Smartphone makes users use and operate the prototype smart theft alarm.

Kajian ini bertujuan membangunkan aplikasi android subjek Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi Tahun enam (6) bagi topik penghasilan dan pengujian atur cara. Pembangunan aplikasi android bertujuan untuk membantu pelajar memahami dan mempelajari dengan lebih jelas konsep pembelajaran secara maya berkenaan dengan topik yang berkaitan. Kajian ini menfokuskan kepada tiga reka bentuk dalam pembangunan aplikasi android reka bentuk bagi subjek Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi Tahun enam (6) (topik penghasilan dan pengujian atur cara). Terdapat tiga reka bentuk yang dihasilkan iaitu reka bentuk isi kandungan, reka bentuk interaksi dan reka bentuk antaramuka. Pembangun membuat pengesahan bagi ketiga-tiga reka bentuk untuk menilai kebolehfungsiaan produk iaitu melibatkan pakar dalam pembangunan aplikasi android dan pakar dalam subjek tersebut. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan keseluruhan pakar menyatakan produk yang dihasilkan memenuhi ketiga-tiga reka bentuk yang dinilai. Akhir sekali, diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat membantu pengguna dalam menguasai isi pelajaran yang disediakan.

Don't forget those in the grid who need electricity, give the idea of developing mobile power generator hybrid systems and energy consumption monitoring applications. The objectives of the study were to design, install hardware and software as well as test the feasibility of mobile power generator hybrid systems and energy consumption monitoring applications. This product is developed based on the Engineering Design Process (EDP) model which consists of five phases namely analysis phase, design phase, development and implementation phase, testing phase and evaluation phase. The products of this system will be successfully developed by generating electricity and providing power readings to consumers through the Blynk application through internet access. Finally, with the development of this product will reduce the problem of getting an emergency supply. In addition, the features of a portable system provide energy everywhere and can be stored in small areas.

Projek ini dijalankan adalah untuk rekabentuk sebuah prototaip sistem keselamatan kandang kambing berasaskan aplikasi blynk untuk membantu penternak dalam mengawal keselamatan serta menangani kes kecurian dengan memberi notifikasi kepada penternak. Fokus perbincangan dalam adalah bertumpu kepada rekabentuk shelter security system dan analisis kejuruteraan. Model Design Thinking digunakan sebagai panduan dalam membangunkan prototaip ini yang mempunyai lima fasa yang perlu diikuti dimana antara fasa yang terlibat ialah empathy, define problem, ideate, prototype dan test. Modul WiFi iaitu ESP 32 merupakan komponen utama dan perisian arduino digunakan untuk tujuan pengkodan serta aplikasi blynk digunakan untuk menerima notifikasi. Analisis kejuruteraan telah dijalankan terhadap komponen- komponen utama dan juga terhadap aplikasi blynk. Pembangunan prototaip Shelter Security System ini dapat memberi idea terhadap perkembangan teknologi IoT dalam bidang keselamatan serta dapat membantu penternak mengatasi masalah kecurian kambing.

Prototaip adalah satu bentuk objek sebenar yang dikecilkan skala mengikut skala yang telah ditetapkan dalam sebarang bidang rekabentuk. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk merekabentuk prototaip asas automasi kimpalan, membangunkan prototaip asas automasi kimpalan dan mengenalpasti kebolehfungsian prototaip asas automasi kimpalan. Kaedah yang digunakan oleh pengkaji adalah Model ADDIE. Responden telah dipilih menggunakan kaedah persampelan bertujuan. Responden terdiri daripada Penolong Jurutera daripada kursus mekanikal yang terdapat di Fakulti Pendidikan Teknikal dan Vokasional, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa prototaip pengajaran dan pembelajaran ini kepada tiga bahagian iaitu lengan robot, pengawal motor servo dan papan grid. Bagi lengan robot, pengkaji telah memasang lengan robot mengikut struktur yang diinginkan dan kemudian memasang servo motor pada setiap sendi lengan robot. Seterusnya pengkaji telah memasang wayar motor pada pengawal motor servo bagi menggerakkan tangan robot. Produk yang dibina oleh pengkaji mempunyai reka bentuk yang menarik disamping mesra pengguna kerana ia ringan dan mudah untuk dibawa, ia akan memudahkan para pelajar dan pengajar untuk melakukan sesi pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa prototaip ini sesuai dijadikan ABBM sama ada penggunaannya di dalam kelas bagi pembelajaran secara teori mahupun dimakmal untuk pembelajaran secara amali.

Alat bahan bantu mengajar (ABBM) adalah penting digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelajar sepanjang proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran dijalankan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk merekabentuk dan membangun ABBM bagi konsep asas transformer dalam mesin kimpalan serta mengenal pasti kebolehfungsian ABBM yang dibangunkan. Dalam membangunkan ABBM ini, pengkaji akan menggunakan model ADDIE sebagai panduan. Berdasarkan dapatan kajian ini, pengkaji telah merekabentuk ABBM yang baru dengan menggunakan transformer sebagai komponen utama menggantikan transformer sebelum ini yang terdapat di dalam mesin kimpalan. Manakala mentol pula adalah sebagai indikator bagi output keluaran menggantikan osiloskop yang ingin digunakan pada awalnya. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa ABBM yang dibangunkan ini sesuai serta boleh digunakan oleh pelajar kimpalan bagi mengetahui fungsi utama transformer. Ini kerana, berdasarkan kepada subjek kimpalan yang pelajar pelajari, terdapat konsep asas transformer di dalam mesin kimpalan arka. Pelajar seharusnya memahami konsep asas transformer serta kaitkan dengan penggunaan voltan bagi pengendalian di dalam mesin kimpalan. Justeru itu, ABBM ini sesuai untuk digunakan di dalam bidang kimpalan bagi mengetahui fungsi asas transfomer. Selain itu, ABBM yang dibangunkan ini boleh dimajukan lagi penggunaannya untuk pelajar elektrik gunakan sebagai ABBM bagi subjek transformer.

The development of egg incubation chamber using split unit air conditioning give the breeders to produce eggs in chickens in large quantities without using the chicken hen. This system is more focused on poultry farming. The objective of this study is to develop an egg incubator chamber using a split unit air conditioning and determine its functionality. This study is a product design study. The design of this study was developed based on the ADDIE model design. Development begins with the design process, component material splitting, assembly, testing, finishing and evaluation. In order to ensure that the machine developed achieves the objective, the researcher has selected three individuals for skilled and experienced in the field of HVAC and poultry farming as an expert in the evaluation process. It involves three main aspects of the suitability of the design, functionality, and suitability of the model for the actual product. Evaluation is based on the model developed using the questionnaire. As a result of the analyzed analysis findings, 8 eggs have hatched from 30 eggs. Besides that, researchers found that assessors provide positive feedback and constructive comments for future improvements. Overall, it can be concluded that the objectives and questions of the study are achieved based on the data and feedback from the experts. The conclusion that the incubation of egg incubation chamber using split unit air conditioning units can provide ideas and concepts to the outside industry in producing products that they want to market or commercialize

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sesuatu produk yang dapat membantu pekerja dalam menyelia keadaan sistem saliran air di sawah padi dengan menggunakan sistem telekomunikasi mobile. Sebelum produk ini dibangunkan, kaedah penyeliaan sistem ini dikendalikan oleh Lembaga Kemajuan Petani Muda (MADA) dengan kaedah manual yang memerlukan tenaga pekerja. Kaedah ini tidak sesuai diaplikasikan kerana memerlukan tempoh masa yang lama dan status informasi yang lambat. Tujuan utama kajian ini adalah merekabentuk dan membangunkan sistem yang boleh meningkatkan kecekapan dalam menyelia keadaan sistem saliran air di sawah. Dalam reka bentuk projek, Model Engineering Design Proses (EDP) adalah dirujuk bagi membantu untuk membangunkan projek sistem pemantauan saliran di sawah padi. Analisis bagi penyambungan litar ini dibangunkan menggunakan aplikasi Proteus untuk mengetahui penyambungan sebenar bagi setiap komponen dan modul elektronik yang digunakan dalam pembangunan prototaip ini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan segala objektif yang dinyatakan telah dicapai dengan baik serta dapat memantau sistem saliran sawah padi dengan baik.

Alat Pengesan Paras dan Kualiti Air Sistem Menara Pendingin berbantukan IoT ini merupakan sejenis alat yang boleh memantau, merekod dan membaca paras dan kualiti air menggunakan telefon pintar. Pengguna sebelum ini perlu memanjat menara pendingin untuk memantau paras dan kualiti air sistem menara pendingin. Ini menyebabkan pekerja memerlukan tenaga kerja dan masa penyelenggaraan yang banyak dalam kerja penyelenggaraan sistem menara pendingin. Antara objektif kajian ini adalah mereke bentuk Alat Pengesan Paras dan Kualiti Air Sistem Menara Pendingin berbantukan IoT, membangunkan reka bentuk Alat Pengesan Paras dan Kualiti Air Sistem Menara Pendingin berbantukan IoT dan menguji kesesuain penggunaan bahan yang digunakan dalam Alat Pengesan Paras dan Kualiti Air Sistem Menara Pendingin berbantukan IoT. Produk ini menggunakan aplikasi Blynk sebagai platform untuk memantau paras dan kualiti air sistem menara pendingin dan menghantar data yang dikumpul kepada telefon pintar pengguna. Proses pembangunan Alat Pengesan Paras dan Kualiti Air Sistem Menara Pendingin berbantukan IoT ini adalah berasaskan model ADDIE yang merangkumi fasa analisis, reka bentuk, pembangunan, perlaksanaan dan pengujian. Proses pengekodan untuk sistem pemantauan ini adalah menggunakan perisian Arduino IDE. Manakala perisian Fritzing digunakan untuk melakarkan litar skematik bagi sambungan Alat Pengesan Paras dan Kualiti Air Sistem Menara Pendingin berbantukan IoT. Tiga orang pakar telah dipilih untuk menguji kesesuaian reka bentuk produk yang telah dibangunkan ini. Secara keseluruhannya, reka bentuk produk ini sesuai untuk digunakan dan objektik kajian yang telah ditetapkan dapat dicapai oleh pengkaji.

Pada masa kini, pengetahuan dan kesediaan bagi menceburi bidang pendidikan dalam kalangan pelajar dalam pendidikan adalah elemen penting untuk menjadi bakal guru yang berdedikasi serta berwibawa. Oleh sebab itu, kajian deskriptif ini telah dijalankan untuk mengetahui tahap kesediaan bakal guru Sarjana Muda Pendidikan Vokasional (Penyejukbekuan dan Penyamanan Udara) di Fakulti Pendidikan Teknikal & Vokasional, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Aspek-aspek yang dilihat dalam kajian ini adalah tahap pengetahuan terhadap profession perguruan dan tahap persediaan bakal guru dalam menceburi profession perguruan. Ujian korelasi turut dijalankan bagi mengenalpasti hubungan antara tahap pengetahuan pelajar terhadap profesion perguruan dengan tahap kesediaan mereka. Seramai 42 orang responden yang terdiri daripada pelajar-pelajar tahun akhir Sarjana Muda Pendidikan Vokasional (Penyejukbekuan dan Penyamanan Udara) dipilih untuk tujuan ini. Borang soal selidik telah digunakan sebagai instrumen dalam kajian ini. Kajian rintis telah dijalankan terhadap 30 orang pelajar tahun akhir Sarjana Muda Pendidikan Vokasional daripada bidang lain untuk menguji kebolehpercayaan instrumen kajian dan nilai keseluruhan yang didapati adalah 0.96. Hasil dapatan mendapati pengetahuan pelajar terhadap profesion perguruan berada pada tahap yang sangat tinggi (M=4.63, SP=0.40) serta tahap kesediaan untuk menceburi profesion perguruan juga berada pada tahap yang sangat tinggi (M=4.56, SP=0.45). Analisis korelasi pula menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat kuat r=.78; p<.05 dan signifikan antara pengetahuan pelajar dan kesediaan pelajar menceburi profesion perguruan. Kesimpulannya, pelajar tahun akhir FPTV bidang penyejukbekuan dan penyamanan udara telah mempersiapkan diri dengan pengetahuan dan kesediaan berkaitan bagi menceburi profesion perguruan.

Malaysia is a tropical country with hot and humid weather throughout the year. This will cause an inconvenience to the occupants in a building. Comfort is crucial because it can affect the daily life of the occupants and cause the health of the occupants to be disturbed. This study was conducted to examine the level of student's comfort and focus on learning on the use of laboratories and tutorial rooms in FPTV buildings. The study was conducted in the form of surveys and fieldwork. Therefore, this study uses a qualitative approach through a questionnaire and uses a hygrometer tool for data collection. This study involved 119 students using labs and tutorial rooms. The reliability coefficient of Cronbach Alpha for this study is 0.88. Likert scale for comfort level and thermal sensation lot is used to measure the response of respondents. Data that has been analysed by using IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) to frequency, mean, percentage and standard deviation. The test for the hypothesis of the study was carried out through Pearson's correlation to find the connection between thermal comforts with students' focus in the labs and tutorial rooms in the FPTV building. The study results found that thermal comfort (temperature) was not significant with the focus of the students on learning. Meanwhile, for thermal comfort (relative humidity) and thermal comfort (wind movement there is a significant relationship between the concentration of the students but at the (weak) level.

Tujuan projek ini dibangunkan adalah untuk menghasilkan satu alat pengering yang mampu mempercepatkan proses pengeringan makanan dan juga menjamin kebersihan makanan yang dihasilkan. Sebelum ini, pengusaha asam keping melakukan proses pengeringan secara tradisional iaitu menjemur dibawah cahaya matahari di Kawasan lapang tanpa melindungi makanan dengan penutup. Makanan yang dijemur terdedah kepada pencemaran, haiwan dan masalah cuaca. Objektif kajian adalah untuk mereka bentuk mesin pengering asam keping yang mempunyai kawalan suis ditelefon pintar dan juga bekas yang tertutup. Proses pembangunan mesin pengering asam keping ini belandaskan kepada reka bentuk pembangunan model design thinking yang mengandungi lima fasa iaitu fasa empati, takrif, idea, prototaip dan pengujian. Reka bentuk projek ini dibangunkan dengan menggunakan perisisan Sketchup bagi mereka bentuk prototaip alat pengering tersebut. Pendawaian bagi litar alat pengering ini dilakukan dengan berpandukan litar yang telah dirancang dan pengujian produk melibatkan ujikaji di makmal. Pengujian dilakukan bagi memastikan litar berfungsi dan selamat untuk digunakan. Projek ini menggunakan arduino uno, pengesan suhu LM35, litar geganti dan aplikasi Blynk di telefon pintar. Produk ini telah melibatkan pengesahan pakar seramai tiga orang yang terdiri daripada dua orang pensyarah dan seorang pembantu makmal. Secara keseluruhan, mesin pengering asam keping ini berfungsi dengan baik dan mencapai objektif yang telah ditetapkan

This study discussed the tool installer's development process for File Handle to facilitate handle mounted on a file. This study aims to help the lab assistant who has trouble making the installation process for file handle where the files should have the installation neat and undamaged. Therefore, in this study, the Tools Installer File Handle study was developed to solve their problems in making the files' installation process handle more effectively. This is a product development study based on the ADDIE model with five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study involved laboratory assistants in the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV) University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in the mechanical field as experts in the final phase. The experts evaluated the functionality of the product. The expert evaluation and validation findings for Installer Tool File Handle show a high percentage of the suitability of the design and installation functions as a tool. In conclusion, this study proves that the product "Installer File Handle" is suitable for laboratory assistants to handle files' installation process and make the process more effective and reduce working time.

Hal ini berkait dengan tahap motivasi pelajar terhadap perubahan gaya kehidupan seharian mereka. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan antara motivasi dengan transformasi budaya kehidupan pelajar di peringkat universiti. Seramai 194 orang pelajar tahun pertama yang mengikuti Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan Vokasional, FPTV, UTHM dipilih sebagai responden dalam kajian ini. Reka bentuk kajian yang digunakan adalah berbentuk tinjauan yang melibatkan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensi. Satu set soal selidik telah diedar bagi mendapatkan data dalam kajian yang dijalankan ini. Data yang dikumpul daripada soal selidik telah dianalisis menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Science School (SPSS) versi 24 secara deskriptif yang melibatkan pengiraan kekerapan, peratusan, dan min bagi mengenal pasti tahap faktor diri, ibu bapa dan masyarakat yang mendorong motivasi serta faktor sosial dan masyarakat yang mendorong transformasi budaya kehidupan pelajar. Data deskriptif yang diperoleh menunjukkan nilai min bagi pembolehubah motivasi berada pada tahap tinggi dan pembolehubah transformasi budaya kehidupan juga pada tahap tinggi. Seterusnya, analisis statistik inferensi telah dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan di antara motivasi dengan transformasi budaya kehidupan pelajar dengan merujuk kepada ujian Spearman’s Rank Correlation. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan nilai korelasi berada pada nilai positif yang kuat. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini menunjukkan tahap motivasi pelajar tahun pertama di Fakulti Pendidikan Teknikal dan Vokasional, UTHM mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan transformasi budaya kehidupan mereka.

The involvement of indigenous peoples in entrepreneurship through assistance and guidance to entrepreneurs with technical and vocational-based training seeks to help them deal with the issue of high levels of poverty, education issues, and mind change to continue to compete in this challenging globalization era. This study aims to identify the factors that motivate indigenous youths to engage in entrepreneurship including the internal and external aspects that are appropriate to produce business incubators framework for indigenous youths through technical and vocational training. This study is a qualitative study involving 10 experts, who have been selected using purposive sampling. Data were obtained based on semi-structured interviews, which were further analyzed using thematic analysis to identify emerging themes. Finding found that the eight success factors were external support factors include financial, mentoring and business advice, networking, government policies, and stakeholder objectives, research – university, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial skill, physical and logistical infrastructure, and technology support. Internal support factors include the demographic, field of entrepreneurship, and characteristics of entrepreneurs. In the future, the researchers will continue to perform a pilot test and an actual study and then analyze the result of the research hypotheses.

The lack of teaching aids in line with current needs and technology becomes a necessity in ensuring the existence of new products or innovations of existing products. Therefore the development of this product is to ease and enhance teaching and learning session of teacher and students in Commercial Refrigeration System course. The development of this product based on ADDIE model. For the functionality test, this product will test a few variable like the display of the temperature and pressure of the refrigerator in smartphone by using Blynk application to perform Mollier Chart and reading of Coefficient of Performance (CoP). Temperature and pressure were detected by sensor and connected to Arduino Wemos board that was programmed by Arduino Ide. All the information was sent to cloud and can be access the server by using smartphone. Based on result, all the functionality going well. For improvement, expert panel suggest that the display of temperature and pressure reading can be shown with easy and clearly to read. As conclusion the objectives of this product achieve to reduce high level of dependency on textbooks, enhance student’s ability to focus and improve several of teaching aids that moderate in quality.

Data deskriptif yang diperoleh menunjukkan nilai min bagi pembolehubah motivasi berada pada tahap tinggi dan pembolehubah transformasi budaya kehidupan juga pada tahap tinggi. Seterusnya, analisis statistik inferensi telah dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan di antara motivasi dengan transformasi budaya kehidupan pelajar dengan merujuk kepada ujian Spearman’s Rank Correlation. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan nilai korelasi berada pada nilai positif yang kuat. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini menunjukkan tahap motivasi pelajar tahun pertama di Fakulti Pendidikan Teknikal dan Vokasional, UTHM mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan transformasi budaya kehidupan mereka.

The development of egg hatching and storage machines equipped with cooling and heating systems and IoT was for helping chicken breeders to address the issue of chicken production shortages. To produce large numbers of poultry production, eggs hatching is one of the major step that needs to pay attention to. There are several reasons why egg hatching process fails, such as lack of care by hen, eaten by rooster, and unsuitable hatching environment and temperature. In addition, if the eggs are not incubated within 1 week, the eggs will be damaged having producing a hatching machine and egg storage can help the chicken breeders to produce a better amount of chicken production. Internet of Things (IoT) elements such as the Arduino and Blynk are also used to make this egg hatching and storage machine attractive and to meet the needs and requirements of users. The objectives of this study were to design, develop and evaluate the functionality of egg hatching and storage machines in combination with cooling and heating systems along with IoT. Methodology is a technique and method that incorporates methods and approaches used to achieve the objectives and objectives of the study. The model used is the ADDIE model which consists of 5 phases namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This product has received expert confirmation in terms of design and functionality. The results show that the egg hatching and storage machine is well developed and can attract users when using this hatching and storage machine.

Pengguna kenderaan mempunyai risiko terhadap strok haba yang boleh membunuh jika tidak mempunyai pengudaraan yang baik. Menjadi masalah apabila pemandu meninggalkan kenderaan mereka yang parkir terus di bawah matahari memberi potensi besar memerangkap haba yang tinggi.

Individuals aiming to be successful entrepreneurs need to have adequate entrepreneurial readiness with respect to knowledge, interests, motivation and abilities. The purpose of the research is to measure the level of readiness towards becoming entrepreneurs among participants of the lifelong learning programme in Malaysian community colleges. This research focuses on four elements of readiness comprising knowledge, interest, motivation and ability which were measured using a self-perception questionnaire. The sample for this research consisted of 236 participants from 305 students in the Lifelong Learning (LL) programme for Pastry making at Malaysian community colleges under the Ministry of Education. Data were analysed using mean and Kruskal Wallis test. The data analyses results show that the level of readiness from the aspect of knowledge (M = 3.67, SD = 0.58) is moderate, interest (M = 4.13, SD = 0.55) is high, motivation (M = 4.13, SD = 0.55) is high and ability (M = 3.8852, SD = 0.64) is moderate. No difference was found on entrepreneurial readiness between participants of different age groups indicating that age may not be a contributing factor towards entrepreneurship among pastry making LL programme participants. &nbsp

The rapid development of technology nowadays has changed today’s education system, especially in facilitating teaching and learning, and increasing students’ motivation. The development in the area of applications such as google apps have positively impacted teaching fields as a medium to disseminate information and instructional strategies between a lecturer and students. However, students do not have a sense of motivation to learn a new learning environment that is based on technology. The aim of this study was to determine the level of students’ motivation towards google apps. This was a survey study using a set of questionnaire as the instrument. The data were analyzed using mean scores to determine the students’ level of motivation. These findings showed that the students’ motivation to use google apps were high accordingly in terms of Google Drive for attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction; Google Form for attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction; Google Spreadsheets for attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction, while Google PowerPoint for attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. The findings helped to determine the appropriate google apps as instructional strategies to be applied in teaching and learning that would be able to increase the students’ motivation to learn. In general, this study supports the use of google apps in assisting learning process that can increase part-time students’ motivation. &nbsp

Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) is based on the pedagogical process of observation where students will learn progressively through active group interaction. CSCL is an emerging branch of the learning sciences concerned with studying on how people can learn together with the help of computers. Thus, this research was conducted to measure the characteristics of the CSCL learning environment through Moodle that assists the process of students’ knowledge construction during the teaching and learning process. The CSCL learning environment is an educational learning system which develops to help the teachers and students in managing School Based Assessment (SBA) in selected secondary school in Malaysia. Samples involved two groups of students and two Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teachers from two different schools. A total of 61 students, who were taught using CSCL approach through Moodle, underwent the process of teaching and learning using their school computer laboratory. The finding shows that the characteristics of the CSCL learning approach that used in this learning environment for the first group are at a high level with overall mean of 4.17 and the second group at moderate level with overall mean of 3.62. The result proves that the characteristics of the CSCL learning environment help students to build their knowledge during teaching and learning process at the high level with an overall mean score of 3.87. The mean of these two groups may vary according to students’ background, as well as learning environment facilities. Although, CSCL leads to students’ self-development, improving learning quality, sharing knowledge and assisting students’ in the process of building their knowledge, implementation of CSCL must first considering the technology relevant facilities, especially computer laboratory and internet accessibility in school. There are number of skill levels mentioned in previous study that less emphasised on the major element required for semi-skilled workers. Therefore, this paper aimed to determine the level of skills readiness of Kluang vocational college’s students that apparently will work as semi-skilled worker in industry. This study was used quantitative research method through survey using questionnaires as the instrument to get the data and information for answering the research questions. A sample of 155 (85 Male and 70 female) students of final year diploma students from various technology courses were selected based on purposive sampling method to complete the questionnaire survey given. A questionnaire that consists of six constructs was developed and the administered to obtain information. Data was collected and analysed descriptively using SPSS (Statistical Package for The Social Sciences). During data analysis, descriptive measurement was conducted and Independent T-Test test was used to analyse the differences between female and male student toward in their work readiness. Besides, the validity was made to ensure the questionnaire can be used. Content validity, face validity and construct validity were used in this study to make sure the instrument's validity. Moreover, the pilot study was carried out to obtain the reliability of the questionnaire. Based on the analysis that has been made, Alpha Cronbach value was 0.95 categorized as a high level. Findings showed that there was a significant difference between male and female students on work readiness. The level of readiness among students as promising as referring to the high level of attitude, thinking skills, leaderships, teamwork, problem solving and communication skills. Furthermore, the students need to acquire at least foundation skills in their courses in order to be success in any job along the career pathway, students need to acquire specific occupational skills that allow them to differentiate themselves

This research is aimed at studying the levels of use of instructional Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in core subjects in eleven secondary day schools in the districtof Muar. This research are identify from three main objective, as skills level, practice level and attitude level in instructional use in core subjects. Its involves 162 respondents varius teachers teaching core subject as Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematic, History and Science. Instrument used in this research is questionnaire and data is processed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21.0. The results reported in the forms of mean, standard deviation, percentage and one-way ANNOVA test. The result showed the levels of use instructional ICT in core subjects in the aspects of skills level, practice level and attitude level are at the average level, with an overall mean score of 3.31, 2.87 and 3.35 respectively. However, the findings shows no significant difference between the skills level, practice level and attitude level in instructional ICT in core subjects, with ANNOVA test values of 0.224, 0.911 and 0.681 respectively. In conclusioan the skills level, practice level and attitude level in the use of instructional ICT in core subjects are at the average level and that there is no significant difference between the skills level, practice level and attitude level of the teachers in the use of instructional ICT in core subjects in secondary day schools in the district of Muar.

The rapid development of information and communications technology (ICT) today has given a new breath to use of computer in education. One of the increasingly popular nowadays is a multimedia technology that merges a variety of media such as text, graphics, animation, video and audio controlled by a computer. With this technology, a wide range of multimedia software can be developed to improve the quality of education. This study aims to develop a multimedia educational animated video based interactive teaching and learning theory and design appropriate for Engineering Drawing subject in the title of Orthographic Projection according to the syllabus of Malaysia Vocational College. This research involved 30 respondents from Industrial Machining students in Vocational College. The research design was conducted by simple survey to collect data from the respondents. The instruments used in the form of a questionnaire to obtain information. Data was collected and analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 24. The study found that the interactive multimedia materials that have visual graphics, text, audio, video and animation, capable of increasing the rate of their acceptance more than 30% compared to using traditional learning methods.

Cyber-Physical-Social Systems, commercial enterprises, and social networking use data centers to store, process, and distribute massive amounts of data. A data center serves as the foundation for all of these endeavors. The data center's workload and power consumption are increasing rapidly due to the demand for remote data services. Mechanical refrigeration and terminal cooling are the most critical components for most cooling systems. There is a way to transfer heat from the data center to the outside environment, but it's a complicated process. Air cooling systems and technology are most useful for room cooling and rack-level cooling. Because of their superior cooling performance and higher energy efficiency, air cooling has attracted more attention than water cooling in most existing data centers. The chillers and fans consume the most power of all the cooling equipment in the system. These methods can be divided into mechanism-based methods and data-driven methods for energy management of the cooling system. Operation management of cooling equipment is proposed to reduce power consumption, mainly using predictive model control and reinforcement learning-based methods. An overview of the data center's cooling system is presented in this paper, which focuses on the most common cooling solutions, power consumption modeling methods, and optimization control strategies, among others. In addition, the data center's cooling system is described as a current and future issue.
