Introduction: Poor oral health has a significant impact on general health.In both affluent and developing nations, oral disorders significantly worsen people's quality of life. Geographical space is now thought of as a functional domain, as both a recipient and an activator of social processes. The study aims to present a new concept on including mother's concept on level of education in preventive aspect among a valuable population. Materials And Methods:The study is a cross sectional survey conducted among 100 moms and 100 children aged 6 from the Chengalpattu area made up the study sample. The mothers signed the informed and mandated permission after being told of the study's goals and procedures. Results: In terms of the demographics of the chosen group, it was found through the analysis of the data gathered that 50% of the moms have completed high school,followed by those who graduated from completed college (46.7%). Children with considerable caries experience are more likely to be among subjects with an inadequate practise score than those with a good practise score,according to the association between oral health practise level and children's carious experience (dmft among 1 and 4). (dmft between 5 and 8). Conclusion: The findings of our study demonstrated that mothers' knowledge and attitudes about oral health are moderate, and that mothers' levels of education have an impact on those levels of knowledge and attitudes, with mothers with higher levels of education having more knowledge than mothers with only a high school diploma.

Introduction:Worldwide,there have been rapid changes in the demographics,including an increase in the number of old people. The number of elderly adults is predicted to quadruple by 2050 and reach two billion individuals at the current trend.The study aims to find out the perception of dentist towards geriatric dentistry. Materials And Methods: This cross-sectional study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Adhiparasakthi dental college and hospital. The total sample size was estimated around 240 samples and a self-administered questionnaire was sent online survey. The collected data were subjected to statistical analysis. Results: A total of 231 completed questionnaires (response rate = 88%) were obtained.Mean of age was 34.4 ± 8.1 (23–71 years) and 62.8% (n = 145) were female.The percentage of the patients in different age groups visited by the dentists during the past month showed that the most frequent age group was the 18–40 year group (40%).A significant correlation was observed between their practice and attitude.Availability of equipment for the ease of access revealed that 54% of dental offices/clinics had adequate lifts. Only about 20% of them had ramps and wall hangings and almost 24% had good flooring.Conclusion:The dentists in our study exhibited a modest level of expertise and skill in treating the dental issues of elderly patients. A major of them, were sympathetic towards the elderly. Therefore, dental education policy makers should prioritise developing geriatric education in dental institutions,particularly clinical education

Introduction: Adult tobacco use is a public health concern, and among software professionals, lifestyle choices and jobrelated stress are risk factors. The negative effects of smoking will be more pronounced in today's youth due to early smoking initiation, as well as in the long run for young individuals who develop a smoking habit and continue to smoke into adulthood. The purpose and goals of this study are to evaluate the oral health disparities and degree of mental stress among Tamil Nadu's software workers. Using an online survey site, a cross-sectional study of Materials And Methods: software professionals in Tamil Nadu was carried out. The sample size was calculated to be 550 based on the percentage of software workers that smoke. All potential human resources received the online survey. There are some substantial differences in oral health among software workers who smoke, including tooth discoloration and poor aesthetics. Introduction: Robotics is concerned with the connection of perception to action; in this to each other but serve very different purposes.AI is a branch of computer science which involves developing computer programs to complete tasks that would otherwise require human intelligence. To assess the knowledge and attitude of dentists the role of robotics (R) and artificial intelligence (AI) in oral health and preventive dentistry. Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional study in which data was collected from dentist population. A total of 600 participants answered 15 closed-ended questions. The questionnaire's validity and reliability were evaluated for vetting and remarks. The questionnaire collected demographic data of participants and their knowledge and attitude about Robotics and Artificial intelligence. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed using chi-squared testwith statistical significance set at p < 0.05. Results: The majority of the participants (n = 600; 57.5%/42.5%) were males and females. Dental students, dentist school graduates/ interns, and postgraduate dentists comprised of 56.6%, 23.3%%, and 20% respectively. Most of the respondents gave affirmative answers for knowledge and attitude of R and AI (56.6%,and 75%).These were significantly above the overall affirmative answers, as the corresponding point lies above 95% UCL (upper confidence limit). Conclusion: Most dentists were unacquainted with R and AI. Dentists had a positive attitude towards R/AI, but due to inadequate knowledge and understanding, its use and applications were very limited. There is significant need in the near future to increase awareness of this concept, as it may increase treatment efficiency and effectiveness

Permanent magnet (PM) motors are rapidly replacing the squirrel cage induction motors for its energy efficient operation, smooth control and high power density. Although PM Motors are energy efficient, they are inherently affected by cogging torque and torque ripple. Magnetic alignment between teeth of stator and permanent magnet of rotors produce cogging torque. Torque ripple is a dynamic oscillation during steady-steady operation which leads to various mechanical anomalies like vibration, noise and rotor stress. Torque ripple is produced in PM motors because of non-sinusoidal distribution of flux, saturation, improper selection of slots etc., these ill effects will deteriorate the starting and steady-state performance of motors. So it is very vital to make analysis and prediction of cogging torque and torque ripples to make the motor more effective. Now a day's minimizing the torque ripples and cogging torque are gaining importance in PM motor designs. In this proposed work, the cogging torque analysis and torque ripple analysis of permanent magnet motor and line start permanent magnet motor has been done and reported.
