The new title two-dimensional hetero-tetra nuclear Cu3–Na coordination polymer {[NaCu3Cl(cpiap)2(H2O)3]n·6nH2O} (1) consists of crystallographically two-independent copper(II) centers, each bridged by a sodium cation through carboxylate-oxygen of the deprotonated H3cpiap ligand (H3cpiap = 2-(carboxyphenyl)iminoaceticpropanoic acid) to CuII (2) and CuII (2−) cations, and through water molecules to CuII (1) cation. CuII (2) and CuII (1) cations are bridged by carboxylate-oxygen atoms of the ligand in a syn-anti mode which, alternate regularly within the chain being bridged by a tetra coordinated sodium cation. Each CuII (2) and CuII (2−) cation in (1) is in an octahedral environment formed by four carboxylate-oxygens from two cpiap3− ligands, one nitrogen atom and a bridging chloride atom. CuII (1) cation is in a square pyramidal environment formed by three water molecules and two carboxylate-oxygens from two cpiap3− ligands. The ligand acts simultaneously as monodentate and tridentate toward CuII (1) and CuII (2) cations respectively. The lattice water molecules involved in OH···O hydrogen bonding are situated in the void spaces between layers. The zigzag chains, which run along the b-axes further construct three-dimensional metal-organic framework via hydrogen bonding and weak face-to-face π-π interactions. Weak CH···O interactions are also present.

Background Intradialytic hypotension (IDH) is a common clinical practice to reduce the extracorporeal blood flow rate (EBFR). Aim The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of changes in EBFR on blood pressure (BP), pulse rate (PR), and cardiac output (COP) in hemodynamically stable patients during hemodialysis (HD). Patients and methods The population of this study consists of 40 patients who were on RD three session weekly. Patients were investigated before and after one conventional HD session. Before the HD session, an echocardiograph was performed to evaluate left ventricular ejection fraction and establish the degree of potential heart failure. Furthermore, arteriovenous fistula recirculation, a confounder of the measurement of EBFR, was excluded at an EBFR of 400 ml/min. Result In this study regarding measure of BP, PR, and COP at EBFR 200, 300, and 400 ml/min, there was a significant increase in systolic BP at an EBFR of 200 ml/min as compared with an EBFR of 300 ml/min and an EBFR of 400 ml/min, but there was no significant change in systolic BP at an EBFR of 300 ml/min as compared with an EBFR 400 ml/min. Regarding diastolic BP, mean arterial pressure, PR, and COP at an EBFR of 200, 300, and 400 ml/min, there was no significant change in mean arterial pressure and COP. Conclusion IDH has been associated with many adverse clinical events including myocardial stunning, cerebral atrophy, and increased mortality. Change of EBFR from 400 ml/min or from 300 ml/min to EBFR 200 ml/min can increase in BP, so it helps in decreased occurrence of complications of IDH, compared with other methods of increasing BP during HD. There is no significant relation between change of EBFR and diastolic BP.

In the title two-dimensional coordination polymer, {[Cu2(C9H3O6)(OH)(C10H8N2)2]·3H2O}n, each of the two independent CuII atoms is coordinated by a bridging OH group, two O atoms from two benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate (L) ligands and two N atoms from a 2,2- bipyridine (bipy) ligand in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. Each L ligand coordinates four CuII atoms, thus forming a polymeric layer parallel to the bc plane with bipy molecules protruding up and down. The lattice water molecules involved in O—H...· O hydrogen bonding are situated in the inner part of each layer. The crystal packing is consolidated by π–π interactions between the aromatic rings of bipy ligands from neigbouring layers [intercentroid distance = 3.762 (3) Å].

The control of different agricultural insect pests still relies mainly on the use of synthetic insecticides. However, excessive use of these chemicals cause many problems, including high residue levels, harmful effects on the environment and human health, and development of insect resistance. Therefore, new strategies for the management of agricultural insects are urgently needed. Plant-based natural products are promising alternatives to be applied for pest control, with remarkable and broad-spectrum biological activities. Among the plant secondary metabolites, essential oils, and their major constituents, mainly monoterpenes, have been widely studied for their application in insect control, food additives, perfumes and cosmetics. In this review, we focus on the studies describing the toxic effects of monoterpenes, including fumigant, contact and residual toxicities against insect pests attacking economic crops in fields. Subclinical mastitis (SCM) is a serious production and financial health issue facing small ruminant farms. Shami dairy does, and Rahmani ewes were chosen for this study. The udder dimensions of the test animals were evaluated, while the taken milk samples were analysed for chemical composition and the somatic cell count (SCC). The presence milk lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) enzyme in milk samples, haemogram and leukogram were determined, too. The incidence of SCM in goats and sheep was 53.33 % and 41.67 %, respectively. This study was conducted to investigate the progress in productive and Reproductive performances of two line indigenous chicken genotypes namely Tanta G- 2and Mamourah line (RBC) being crossing and selected since 2015 three generations data on body weight from hatch until 8 weeks also age at sexual maturity (ASM), egg production (EP) from 36-42 weeks of age and first egg weight (EW) and body weight at sexual maturity (BWSM) The average LBW of Tanta G-2and RBC lines by generation at 8 weeks of age were 907.86 g vs. 558.56g (G1), 1088.12 g vs. 554.92 g (G2), 1175.93 g vs. 551.28 g (G3), respectively, with significant differences for both lines This value was 3267gm for the Tanta G-2and 1525 gm for the RBC line, 3302 gm for the Tanta G-2and 1526gm for RBC line in generation 2 while This value was 3337gm for the Tanta G-2and 1527gm for the RBC line in generation 3. A boosting module and a traditional SEPIC (single ended primary inductance converter) are combined to create the suggested circuit. As a result, the converter gains from the SEPIC converter’s many benefits. Also, the converter that is being presented is appropriate for renewable energy sources due to its high voltage gain and continuous input current. In comparison to a traditional SEPIC with a single-controlled switch, it offers a higher voltage gain. The voltage gains of the converter that has been suggested is closely related to that of the converter that was recently developed. This converter was constructed on the foundation of the conventional converter, as well as the conventional DC-to-DC converter. One of the most important characteristics of a projected converter is that it is equipped with a single controlled device and has the capability to increase voltage gain without the utilisation of a coupled inductor structure or transformer. The non-idealities of the semiconductor devices and passive components have been taken into consideration in the analysis of voltage gain in continuous current mode (CCM). The conventional SEPIC converter can be modified by incorporating capacitors and diodes. The experimental results indicate that this converter can amplify the output voltage by approximately 10 times and has an efficiency of around 97%.

The efficiency of a GaAs solar cell was 24.3 percent, which at the time was the best of any single-junction solar cell. This paper shows the variation of output power when subjected to a variety of irradiation at different locations in India When compared to the previous record efficiency of 24.3%, set by direct deposition of the III-V semiconductor layer on silicon, the efficiency of wafer-bonded silicon-on-gas-silicon (S-S) cells has increased to 34.1%. The maximum power per unit area (Pm) and open circuit voltage (Voc) of GaAs/Ge solar cells are also temperature dependent. Thin film cells are now more adaptable and less voluminous as a result. This semi-transparent solar glazing material is laminated onto windows in building-integrated photovoltaic systems. Because solar panels cannot work in these conditions, realistic solar arrays will produce less power per unit area. To make matters worse, we don’t account for losses caused by shadowing from electrical connections or the close proximity of solar cells on panels.

Nowadays, the identity verification of banks’ clients at Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) is a very critical task. Clients’ money, data, and crucial information need to be highly protected. The classical ATM verification method using a combination of credit card and password has a lot of drawbacks like Burglary, robbery, expiration, and even sudden loss. Recently, iris-based security plays a vital role in the success of the Cognitive Internet of Things (C-IoT)-based security framework. The iris biometric eliminates many security issues, especially in smart IoT-based applications, principally ATMs. However, integrating an efficient iris recognition system in critical IoT environments like ATMs may involve many complex scenarios. To address these issues, this article proposes a novel efficient full authentication system for ATMs based on a bank’s mobile application and a visible light environments-based iris recognition. It uses the deep Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as a feature extractor, and a fully connected neural network (FCNN)—with Softmax layer—as a classifier. Chaotic encryption is also used to increase the security of iris template transmission over the internet. The study and evaluation of the effects of several kinds of noisy iris images, due to noise interference related to sensing IoT devices, bad acquisition of iris images by ATMs, and any other system attacks. Experimental results show highly competitive and satisfying results regards to accuracy of recognition rate and training time. The model has a low degradation of recognition accuracy rates in the case of using noisy iris images. Moreover, the proposed methodology has a relatively low training time, which is a useful parameter in a lot of critical IoT based applications, especially ATMs in banking systems.
