The computer world expanded into each and every sector in the current digital era including the education field and rapidly targeting students to acquaint computer and digital knowledge not only for entertaining but also to enhance academic skills. The basics of digital technology are in reach of the people through different sources such as smart phones, desktop computers, laptops and tablets. Recently, the curricular and competency levels are gradually incorporating to the students to acquire digital skills by motivating to various modes of pedagogy such as seminars, assignments and project works. The present research was mainly focused on understanding the digital devices owning by the students, studying knowledge levels of computer skills and frequency of utilizing digital services. The study was carried out from the randomly selected college students of both science and arts streams from the university and colleges students located at Tirupati urban. The sample size of the present investigation comprised of 60 students from each stream of science and arts with total sample of 120 members. The findings well demonstrated that absolutely all the students owned the smart phone and surprisingly one third of them were even planned to purchase the new mobile within one year. The data indicated that around one fourth of science students had desktop and tablets and about one tenth in arts students. The computer skills and levels of confidence also noticed at higher levels in science students against their arts students' counterparts probably the science students regular academic activities might be intricately enabled the basic computer skills. The information gathered from the students strongly highlighted the high frequency utilization of smart phone by students of both streams. Educating students, creating awareness and organizing digital training programmes by colleges will surely helpful to enhance the digital skills among the students and to excel their academic and future career opportunities. Under wear is the very first layer of clothing a women puts on and the last layer she takes off. It holds and shape a women into whatever form is directed by the trends of the day and also symbolizes feminity, eroticism and the mysteries of intimacy. The selection of under wear needs knowledge on right type, material and functionality of under wear available from different brands. Many studies have specified that the Indian adolescents from rural and urban families are not aware of their brassier and panty size, shape and fitness. These adolescent girls are unaware of different kinds of under wear, particularly in the context of their body contour and a habit to hide the product and treat them as undergarment which should not be discussed by anyone in their social circle. The role of adolescent girls in selection of under wear is minimum in many families, further they are using the under wear with low comfort and utility, self selection is not very encouraging to many young customers due to lack of support from the sales persons who are also not trained in small outlets. A study on under wear educational needs of adolescent girls as perceived by adolescent girls, mothers of adolescent girls and experts was conducted as part of the research on a sample of 60. The results indicate that all the three groups of sample perceived the need for under wear education and also differed significantly in identification of the educational topics. Banana is one of the major crop in India producing large quantities of pseudo-stem as bio-waste after harvesting and becomes the adverse environmental concern due to the disposal either at the outside of the fields or incineration. This particular scenario demanded for recycling or conversion of the huge biomass generated as waste into utilizable products to reduce the consequences of environmental adverse effects. The current investigation focused on the utilization of pseudostem byproduct by converting into value added healthy functional food product in the form of banana center core coconut cookies. The product was standardized by formulating three different experimental trials by substituting a part of wheat flour with three variations viz., 5, 10 and 15 per cent levels respectively. The acceptable levels were compared organoleptically against reference sample without addition of banana center core flour. The findings demonstrated high overall mean acceptable scores of above nine in the reference (9.25), first (9.16) and second (9.02) experimental trials. The third experimental trial with the incorporation of fifteen per cent showed low overall mean organoleptic score (7.36). Pseudo-stem being potential source of dietary fiber, protein and micro-minerals, the second experimental trial was considered as the standardized formula. The nutrient composition analyzed identified that the standardized cookies were nutritionally rich as evidenced by the estimated essential nutrients viz., protein(5.41g), fat(10.53g), dietary fiber(7.28g), ash(0.21mg), calcium(48.36mg) and iron(2.12). The observations well demonstrated the beneficial utility of bio-waste in food products especially in baking denoting the challenging task to explore and development of wide range of pseudo-stem based value added healthy functional food products. A retrospective survey to determine major prepartum and postpartum reproductive problems of dairy cattle was carried out in selected dairy farms. Analysis of clinical data collected for 711 cows in these farms and at farmers was done and 44.3% of cows were found with major prepartum and postpartum reproductive problems. Postpartum anestrus (12.9%) was the major reproductive problem followed by repeat breeding (11.4%) in the retrospective study. A total of 104 cows were used in the regular follow up and 33.6% (n =35) were found to be affected either with one or more of clinical reproductive problems. Postpartum anestrus (12.5%) was found to be the leading reproductive problem followed by repeat breeding (10.6%), metritis (8.7%), abortion (6.7%), retained placenta (3.8%), dystocia (2.9/o) and prolapse (1.9%). Statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the difference in prevalence of major reproductive problems on basis of parity and body condition score. Direct relationship between increasing parity and prevalence of reproductive problems with a highly significant variation (P<0.01) between Jersey-Sahiwal cows and HF-Sahiwal crossbred cows was observed. There is an inverse relationship of body condition and prevalence of reproductive problems. Aims: To determine the recurrent convulsion rate using low-dose magnesium sulphate regime in eclampsia and to identify toxicity and complications with clinical parameters. Methods: Prospective study with two different magnesium sulphate regimes in two slightly clinically different subgroups. Group A that came directly to our hospital and group B who had already received an injection of diazepam or Phenergan at the referring hospital. Group A received 10 g and group B 6 g loading dose of magnesium sulphate. Both groups received 4 g maintenance dose every 4 h. Results: Out of 95 eclamptic patients, only one woman in group B had recurrent convulsion. All women maintained normal respiratory rates. 39 (41.1%) women had absent knee jerks on at least one occasion when the maintenance dose was omitted. Urinary output was more than 30 ml/h in 92 (96.8%) women. In 5 women, maintenance dose had to be augmented to 5 g as reflexes were exaggerated. Conclusion: The low-dose regime appears to control and prevent convulsions effectively in Indian women. Clinical monitoring appears to be sufficient. Objective: Evaluate a method for the estimation of the nocturnal systolic blood pressure (SBP) dip from 24 h blood pressure trends using a wrist-worn photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor and a deep neural network in free-living individuals, comparing the deep neural network to traditional machine learning and non-machine learning baselines., Approach: A wrist-worn PPG sensor was worn by 106 healthy individuals for 226 d during which 5111 reference values for blood pressure (BP) were obtained with a 24 h ambulatory BP monitor and matched with the PPG sensor data. Features based on heart rate variability and pulse morphology were extracted from the PPG waveforms. Long- and short term memory (LSTM) networks, dense networks, random forests and linear regression models were trained and evaluated in their capability of tracking trends in BP, as well as the estimation of the SBP dip., Main Results: Best performance for estimating the SBP dip were obtained with a deep LSTM neural network with a root mean squared error (RMSE) of 3.12 [Formula: see text] 2.20 [Formula: see text] mmHg and a correlation of 0.69 [Formula: see text]. This dip was derived from trend estimates of BP which had an RMSE of 8.22 [Formula: see text] 1.49 mmHg for systolic and 6.55 [Formula: see text] 1.39 mmHg for diastolic BP (DBP). While other models had similar performance for the tracking of relative BP, they did not perform as well as the LSTM for the SBP dip., Significance: The work provides first evidence for the unobtrusive estimation of the nocturnal SBP dip, a highly prognostic clinical parameter. It is also the first to evaluate unobtrusive BP measurement in a large data set of unconstrained 24 h measurements in free-living individuals and provides evidence for the utility of LSTM models in this domain.

Half of all new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections in the United States and two thirds of all sexually transmitted diseases (STD) occur among young people under the age of 25. It is estimated that by the end of high school, nearly two thirds of American youth are sexually active, and one in five has had four or more sexual partners. Despite these alarming statistics, less than half of all public schools in the United States offer information on how to obtain contraceptives and most schools increasingly teach abstinence-only-until-marriage (or "abstinence-only") education. There is little evidence that abstinence-only programs are successful in encouraging teenagers from delaying sexuality activity until marriage, and consequently, avoiding pregnancy, or STD or HIV infection. Comprehensive sex education, which emphasizes the benefits of abstinence while also teaching about contraception and disease-prevention methods, has been proven to reduce rates of teen pregnancy and STD infection.
