Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common chronic neurodegenerative disease (ND) that is mainly investigated nowadays because of its increased incidence and burden on the elderly population. It leads to atrophy of the brain. Clinical features of AD include loss of memory with impaired cognition and behaviour, which leads to mood instability and death. Aggregation of beta-amyloid protein(Aβ) and neurofibrillary tangles within the neuronal cells are the accepted pathophysiological process of AD. Studies have demonstrated that medicinal plants and herbs could improve memory and cognitive function affected by AD. The bioavailability of active herbal components is affected by rapid metabolism, less permeability, and decreased stability within the CNS. Many studies have reported that the application of nanotechnology to plant extracts enhances the efficacy of extracts. Adding herbal extracts into the nanoparticle system could improve the action of extracts, promote the sustained release of bioactive components, decrease the required dose, and lower the side effects. Using published articles from trustworthy resources like PubMed, Google Scholar, Research Gate, Web of Science, and Wiley Online Library, with keywords like "natural products," "Alzheimer's disease," and "nanotechnology," herein we reviewed and summarized recent nano-drug delivery treatment strategies for AD using natural products. An advanced understanding of sperm function is relevant for evidence-based male fertility prediction and addressing male infertility. A standard breeding soundness evaluation (BSE) merely identifies gross abnormalities in bulls, whereas selection based on single nucleotide polymorphisms and genomic estimated breeding values overlooks sub-microscopic differences in sperm. Molecular tools are important for validating genomic selection and advancing knowledge on the regulation of male fertility at an interdisciplinary level. Therefore, research in this field is now focused on developing a combination of in vitro sperm function tests and identifying biomarkers such as sperm proteins with critical roles in fertility. The Na+-K+ ATPase is a ubiquitous transmembrane protein and its α4 isoform (ATP1A4) is exclusively expressed in germ cells and sperm. Furthermore, ATP1A4 is essential for male fertility, as it interacts with signaling molecules in both raft and non-raft fractions of the sperm plasma membrane to regulate capacitation-associated signaling, hyperactivation, sperm-oocyte interactions, and activation. Interestingly, ATP1A4 activity and expression increase during capacitation, challenging the widely accepted dogma of sperm translational quiescence. Quinoxaline-2, 3-dione obtained from cyclocondensation reaction of o-phenylene diamine with oxalic acid was reacted with three different ketones and formaldehyde to give the corresponding Mannich bases in satisfactory yield. Their structures were confirmed by using 1H NMR, IR, and mass analysis. In pharmacological evaluation, the synthesized compounds showed its curative effect against ethidium-bromide-induced demyelination in rats. For the purpose, different screening methods such as open field exploratory behavior test, rota rod test, grip strength test, beam walk test, and photo actometer test were performed. Ethidium bromide induction showed muscle weakness; muscle discoordination; loss of locomotor activity, and so forth, the synthesized drugs reversed all the above-mentioned neuromuscular disorders caused by ethidium bromide administration.
