Extruded snacks, typically derived from low-protein corn, can significantly benefit from the incorporation of red beans to boost their protein content and enhance overall nutritional value. In this study, the influence of feed moisture content and extruder barrel temperature on various physical attributes of the extruded products, including moisture content, particle density, bulk density, expansion ratio, and hardness, were examined. The snacks were produced using a SYSLG-IV twin-screw extruder with a throughput capacity of 10-15 kg/h. The ingredient composition remained consistent, consisting of a 20% red bean flour and 80% corn grit blend. Three moisture content levels (14%-18%) and three different extruder barrel temperature settings (120°C-140°C) were used as variables. The results demonstrated that both variables significantly impacted the physical properties of the extruded snacks. Specifically, an increase in feed moisture content or a decrease in barrel temperature led to higher moisture content (1.01%-1.82%), greater particle density (0.17 g/cm3-0.39 g/cm3), increased bulk density (0.12 g/cm3-0.32 g/cm3), greater hardness (8.34 N-32.18 N), and reduced expansion ratio (2.17-3.0).

Flooding has become the most frequent and impactful disaster events in the Indonesian cities. The Indonesian disaster board also noted that flood events has increasing pattern for today and future time. One of the strategic ways to decrease the impact of flooding is delivering the emergency infrastructures to the needs immediately. The faster delivery makes less impact of disaster events. Therefore, this paper synthesizes a rapid model of assessment from the full assessment of emergency infrastructure need in Sidoarjo Flooding 2020. During the synthesize, the model can reduce duration of assessment from 148 days to four days only. Within the time, eight main steps include finding relevant emergency infrastructures, determining emergency infrastructures needed, assessing emergency infrastructures needed and confirming the actual emergency infrastructure needed. Those eight steps should be taken by encouraging more FGD and in-depth interviews for key relevant stakeholders, guided by specific checklist and filling the gap forms. Strict forms and guidelines provided to help the process in achieving four days assessment period. Consequently, the authorities can use the output assessment for emergency infrastructure program delivery starting from the fifth days after the events.

Penyakit ginjal kronik (PGK) merupakan kerusakan fungsi renal secara irreversible serta progresif dimana kapabilitas tubuh gagal demi melakukan pertahanan metabolisme. Hemodialisis ialah satu dari beberapa pengobatan yang bisa dilakukan, tetapi penderita banyak yang menghadapi komplikasi medis. Masalah yang selalu dialami ialah hipertensi serta hipotensi. Satu dari beberapa metodedalam memperbaiki status hemodinamika yakni terapi murottal Al Qur’an. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi murottal Al Qur’an atas status hemodinamika. Riset ini ialah Quasy-Experiment menggunakan pre and post test with control group design. Sampel riset ini sebanyak 38 responden menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisa yang dipakai ialah uji T Test. Hasil riset membuktikan bahwa terjadi, penurunan tekanan darah sistolik (p value 0,000) dan MAP (p value 0,000), HR (p value 0,017) dan RR (p value 0,011) serta tidak terjadi penurunan tekanan darah diastolik (p value 0,112). Kesimpulan riset ini ialah murottal Al Qur’an yang dilakukan selama satu minggu berpengaruh terhadap menurunnya status hemodinamika (tekanan darah sistolik, mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR) dan respiratory rate (RR) untuk penderita hemodialisis.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika selama pandemi Covid-19. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII materi segitiga dan segiempat. Tes yang dikerjakan siswa diberi skor dan dilakukan analisis terhadap kesalahan jawaban. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII yang melakukan pembelajaran secara daring sebanyak 9 orang peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 2 orang peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat baik, 5 orang peserta didik berada pada kategori baik, dan 2 orang peserta didik berada pada kategori cukup. Sehingga, dapat dinyatakan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII tergolong sedang atau baik dengan presentase 55.56%.

Corn is a commonly used raw material for snack production. However, corn has a relatively low protein content, approximately 7%. Consequently, adding soybean flour is expected to enhance the protein content in snacks. This study investigates the impact of moisture content and barrel temperature treatments on the physical properties of the produced extrudates. Snacks were manufactured using a SYSLG-IV twinscrew extruder with a capacity of 10-15 kg/h and a die diameter of 6 mm. The raw material utilized in the experiment comprised a mixture of 20% soybean flour and 80% corn grit. The study involved two main treatments: barrel temperature (at 120°C, 130°C, and 140°C) and moisture content (at 14%, 16%, and 18%). Parameters assessing the physical properties of the extrudates included expansion ratio, hardness, moisture content, water absorption index, and water solubility index. The results demonstrated that increased moisture content led to increased extrudate moisture content (ranging from 1.80% to 4.71%) and hardness (ranging from 17.45 N to 40.16 N). Conversely, it caused a decrease in the expansion ratio (ranging from 2.11 to 2.03), water solubility index (ranging from 8.82% to 7.01%), and water absorption index (ranging from 5.70 to 4.92).

This study aims to analyze government communication during the Covid-19 pandemic through social media. This study uses qualitative methods and secondary data obtained through documentation techniques. The unit of analysis for this research is the official social media accounts and websites of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, and the Covid-19 Task Force. The findings show that in the 2019-2020 pandemic, the government is experiencing stuttering and has not been able to carry out crisis communication properly through official social media, even though it already had regulations on crisis communication and management in disaster management. In the 2020-2021, the implementation of crisis communication through official social media can be seen with the Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication (CERC) model which integrates risk communication and crisis communication. Three communication indicators in social media have high scores: be right, be capable, and promote action. Meanwhile, 3 communication indicators in social media have low scores: be first, be emphatic, show respect. This shows that communication indicators related to the community are still lacking compared to communication indicators related to the government. Government apparatus must understand the operational level, not only the conceptual level.

This study aims to see the role of digital media in determining the direction of democracy and public opinion. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with case studies in Indonesia and unit analysis using Nvivo 12 Plus software, which is analyzed with Computer Assistant Qualitative Data Analysis (CAQDS) and crosstab. The urgency of the media as an essential actor in democracy is because it can present broad information, active participation, responsiveness, and diversification of perspectives that shape public opinion. The results of this study show that there are three important points. 1) Digital media is able to create spaces for democratic actors in various sectors then, 2) Digital media is an informative and participatory domain, and the last is 3) Digital media is a supervisor of democracy in Indonesia; criticism suggestions and evaluations are straightforward to do by several actors in it. The media is responsible for ensuring the continuity of a healthy democracy. We need cooperation among governments, the private sector, and civil society to support democratic values in media. Criticism, literacy, and active public participation on social media are crucial for maintaining democracy in the digital era. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to increase national rice production, the Ministry of Agriculture has released some high yielding varieties. The research was aimed to obtain superior rice varieties adapted to irrigated lowland agro-ecosystems of Southeast Sulawesi. In the first planting season, research was carried out in Olo-oloho Village, Uepai sub district and the second season at the Wawotobi Experimental Garden. Eight varieties were tested, i.e. Inpari 31, Inpari 34, Inpari 35, Inpari 38, Inpari 39, Inpari 41, Inpari 42, Inpari 43 and Mekongga. The variables observed were growth, yield and pest and disease dynamics. The results shows that there was variation growth and yield of the tested varieties. The growth and yield also varied depend on the season. In the first planting season, Inpari 34 and Inpari 43 showed better growth than others, but Inpari 31 resulted the highest rice yield (4.83 t/ha). In the second planting season, only Inpari 34 showed consistent growth, but the variety that had showed the highest yield was Inpari 43 (8.13 t/ha).
