Muffins are made from wheat flour as the main ingredient. However, Indonesia does not produce wheat domestically, so muffin consumption affects the level of importing wheat in Indonesia. Substitution of wheat flour by using local food such as beneng taro flour can be used as an alternative. Another local plant that has diverse nutritional content so that it can be utilized in making muffins is moringa leaves. One of the process conditions that need to be considered in making muffins is the baking time. This study aimed to determine the effect of composite flour formulation based on beneng taro and moringa leaf flour with variations in baking time on the nutritional value and sensory characteristics of muffins. This research used randomized complete factorial design with the treatment of variation of composite flour (80% wheat flour: 20% beneng taro flour) and moringa leaf flour (100%:0%, 97%:3%, 94%:6%, 91%:9%, and 88%:12%) called as (F1, F2, F3, F4, and F5) and baking times (25 and 30 minutes) called as (W1 and W2). The results showed that the addition of moringa flour increased the moisture, ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate content, but decreased the organoleptic acceptance of color, taste, aroma and overall, while baking time decreased moisture-content and organoleptic acceptance of color but increased acceptance of texture. These results provide new insights for improving nutritional content of muffin from moringa flour as a functional ingredient.

Teaching with multiple representations provides a rich context for helping students overcome difficulties in understanding chemical concepts. Learning models such as POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) can enhance students' science process skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the POE model in learning salt hydrolysis to improve high school students' science process skills. The method used was quantitative, with questionnaires for data collection. The research findings are as follows: (1) students are more interested in the practicum method, (2) many students do not understand the equipment used in the practicum, and (3) many students have science process skills scores lower than their cognitive scores. Therefore, science process skills must be applied to students.

Aplikasi virtual reality UMKM Lumintu dirancang untuk dapat memfasilitasi UMKM Lumintu dalam memamerkan produk mereka. Aplikasi ini dibuat karena UMKM Lumintu tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk menyelengarakan pameran secara mandiri dikarenakan untuk membuat pameran yang bagus dan menarik diperlukan dana yang besar. Selain itu, perubahan dari melihat pameran nyata ke bentuk pameran maya memberikan pengalaman yang berbeda bagi pengguna saat menggunakan pameran digital virtual reality. Ketergunaan tersebut yang sering disebut sebagai usability. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis usability aplikasi virtual reality UMKM Lumintu dari sudut pandang pengguna sehingga dari hasil evaluasi dapat digunakan sebagai rekomendasi untuk perbaikan pembuatan aplikasi virtual reality ruang pamer selanjutnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah 5 komponen usability berdasarkan teori dari Handiwidjojo dan Ernawati yaitu learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, dan satisfaction. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi virtual reality UMKM Lumintu ini layak untuk didistribusikan ke pengguna karena memiliki nilai yang baik dalam setiap komponen.

In Indonesia, conflict over norms or disharmony in laws and regulations is a legal problem that often occurs. This is motivated by the existence of several legal mechanisms that overlap between the regulations below and the regulations above. As happened in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province between customary law and positive law, which in this case is Qanun law. In this article, we will discuss efforts to harmonize norms between customary law and Qanun in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam using descriptive qualitative methods. Efforts to resolve disharmony in statutory regulations are resolved by several alternatives, namely: 1) Right to Judicial Review of Legislative Regulations; 2) Constitutional Route; 3) Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 23 of 2018 concerning Harmonization of Draft Ministerial Regulations, Draft Regulations of Non-Ministerial Government Institutions, or Draft Regulations from Non-structural Institutions by Legislative Regulation Makers issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights; 4) Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 2 of 2019 concerning Resolving Disharmony in Legislative Regulations Through Mediation.

In active fault studies, electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) with wide electrode spacing (10 m) and fewer than 60 electrodes is typically utilized. However, this configuration limits the ability of ERT to resolve detailed geological information, such as fault geometry and motion, small-scale offset, and thickness of Quaternary layers. High-resolution electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) with narrow electrode spacing (1.5‒5 m) and 112 electrodes offers an opportunity to uncover finer geological information. This study combines ERT measurements with geological data from trenches and field observations to investigate the subsurface structures and Quaternary deformation on the easternmost Matano fault. On ERT sections, the easternmost Matano fault is characterized by deformed resistivity layers and resistivity contrasts. The subsurface fault structures dip steeply and indicate reverse and normal motions for the vertical component, with the displacement related to the Quaternary faulting ranging from 3 to 26 m. Notably, fault structures on ERT sections are not necessarily expressed by geomorphic features, suggesting obscured tectonic features. This study demonstrates the reliability of high-resolution electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) in unveiling geological information, such as fault location and geometry, fault vertical motions, buried fault structures, small-scale vertical offsets, stratigraphy, and Quaternary sediment thickness, which are essential for seismic hazard assessment.

Maintenance of machines is highly necessary to prolong the operational lifespan of induction motors. Prioritizing preventive measures is crucial in order to prevent more significant damage to the machinery. One of these measures includes detecting abnormalities, such as misalignment, in the motor shaft. This research is aimed to detect the misalignment of induction motor experimentally by varying the coupling between normal and parallel misalignment. The signal readings were analyzed in the frequency domain using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The results revealed that in the case of coupling misalignment, a peak appeared at f = 13.5 Hz, whereas in the parallel misalignment condition with a 1 cm misalignment, a peak was found at f+fr = 20 Hz. By utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) system, normal and parallel conditions can be detected with an accuracy level of 87.5%.

Beneng taro is an indigenous tuber that grows in Pandeglang, Banten. People of Pandeglang only use it in form of fried and steamed. The weakness of beneng taro is the oxalate content is very high, to reduce it, people of Pandeglang soak it in 1% salt solution for 1 hour. Another effort to utilize beneng taro that has been done is to process it into flour. Beneng taro contains functional compounds including carotenoid pigments and dietary fiber. The use of beneng taro in food can increase product functionality and as a form of food diversification. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of adding beneng taro flour to muffins on the physical and sensory characteristics. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely the concentration of substituted beneng taro flour (0%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%). This research was carried out in two duplicates. The result of this research are the increase of beneng taro flour substitution in muffins decrease the expansion ratio, water content, lightness (L*) of the crust and crumb, a* chromaticity of the crust, b* chromaticity of the crust and crumb, hue (oh) of the crust and crumb, and sensory acceptance. However, The increase of beneng taro flour substitution increased density of dough, density of muffin, and a* chromaticity of the crumb. Based on the results of sensory analysis, the muffin formula substituted with 15% beneng taro flour was the best formula because it was close to the control muffin.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengobservasi tingkat ketertarikan siswa pada penggunaan aplikasi Chirality 2 sebagai media untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran kimia khususnya pada materi hidrokarbon. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui (1) observasi, (2)kuesioner, (3) reflektif jurnal. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukan bahwa responden merasa kesulitan memahami materi kimia terutama pada materi yang bersifat abstrak. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebanyak 4,8% siswa suka bermain game chirality 2, sebanyak 71,4% agak suka, dan sebanyak 14,3% siswa tidak suka dengan game chirarity 2. Game chirality 2 dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia karena dapat membangkitkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Penambahan fitur bahasa Indonesia dapat membantu pengguna dalam memahami cara kerja pada aplikasi Chirality 2.

Program pelatihan kerja di Pemerintah Kota Surakarta yang ditawarkan oleh Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Dinas Pendidikan, Dinas Perdagangan, Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Dinas UMKM Koperasi & Industri. Saat ini beberapa instansi pemerintah yang memiliki program pelatihan kerja yang sama masih menggunakan sistem konvensional. Data pengangguran diambil melalui dari Dinas Sosial Kota Surakarta dikirim melalui media sosial WhatshApp sehingga terjadinya tumpang tindih data pengangguran dan pelaksanaan pelatihan kerja. Instansi yang terlibat dalam program pelatihan kerja belum memiliki rencana strategis dan beberapa proses bisnis dilakukan secara manual. Melihat kondisi permasalahan tersebut maka dibutuhkan suatu perencanaan pengembangan sistem pada instansi pemerintah (dalam hal ini Dinas terkait) sistem informasi dianalisis dan dirancang dengan metode prototyping, merupakan bagian proses untuk membagikan program pelatihan kerja di setiap dinas terkait merealisasikan tujuannya. Untuk dapat menerapkan perencanaan yang mengintegrasikan dan menyinkronkan data menjadi sarana Pemerintah Kota Surakarta dapat mengelola sistem manajemen pelatihan kerja. Dari hasil penelitian ini melalui pengujian dengan metode black box untuk mengukur efisiensi, akurasi, validitas data dan kegunaan sistem manajemen pelatihan kerja untuk memastikan tidak terjadinya kembali tumpang tindih data. Abstract Job training programs in the Surakarta City Government are offered by the Department of Manpower, the Office of Education, the Office of Commerce, the Office for Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Community Empowerment, and the Office for MSME, Cooperatives, and Industry. Several government agencies with the same job training program are still using the conventional system. The response data was taken through the Surakarta City Social Service and sent via WhatsApp social media so that there was an overlapping of the response data and the implementation of job training. The agencies involved in the job training program do not yet have a strategic plan and some business processes are carried out manually. Seeing the condition of the problem, it is necessary to have a system development plan for government agencies (in this case the related Office). Information systems are analyzed and designed using the prototyping method, which is part of the process for distributing job training programs in each Service related to utilization. To be able to implement planning that integrates and synchronizes data becomes a means for the Surakarta City Government to manage a job training management system. the results of this study through testing with the black box method for efficiency, accuracy, data validity, and the use of job training management systems to ensure data overlap does not occur again.

RPA D’Jabung Ponorogo merupakan salah satu rumah potong ayam yang menjual jasa penyembelihan hewan unggas dan juga menjual bahan utama yaitu daging ayam. Pentingnya sertifikasi halal yang nantinya bisa diperoleh akan menjadikan RPA D’Jabung terus dan tetap memperhatikan kebijakan halal dan dapat menjalankan komitmen yang telah ditetapkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis kehalalan produk pada usaha ini adalah Halal Assurance System (HAS) 23103 tentang rumah potong hewan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai hasil pemotongan ayam di rumah potong ayam (RPA) D’Jabung Ponorogo. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa pemotongan ayam di RPA D’Jabung Ponorogo telah menerapkan proses penyembelihan sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Kedepanya RPA D’Jabung bisa mendaftarkan usahanya agar dapat tersertifikasi halal dan menjadi satu-satunya RPA yang telah terstandarisasi dan tersertifikasi oleh pihak LPPOM MUI di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Dalam usaha yang dijalankannya, RPA D’Jabung dibawah kepemimpinan Bapak Herman Subyan memiliki kebijakan sendiri dalam pengelolaannya dan tetap berpegang teguh dalam prinsip halal. Hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan di RPA D’Jabung Ponorogo menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem jaminan halal masih banyak yang harus diperbaiki dan dilengkapi. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan penerapan proses yang sesuai dengan HAS 23103. The importance of halal certification that can be obtained will make RPA D’Jabung continue and concen on the halal policy and carry out the commitments that have been established. The method used in analyzing food halal in this business is the Halal Assurance System (HAS) 23103 about slaughterhouse. This research aims to assess the results of the slaughtering chicken RPA D’Jabung Ponorogo. The date obtained is analyzed descriptively. The results of the study were slaughtering of chicken in RPA D’Jabung has adopting the slaughtering process according to Islamic law. In the future RPA D’Jabung can register its business in order to be certified halal and become the only RPA that has been standardized and certified by LPPOM MUI in Ponorogo Regency. Moreover, RPA D’Jabung under the leadership of Mr. Herman Subyan encourage management and remained steadfast in the halal principle. The observations made at RPA D’Jabung Ponorogo showed that the implementation of the halal assurance system was relatively good. It is concluded that the process in accordance with HAS 23103. An amendment to Regent Regulation Number 60 of 2017 concerning the Amount of Housing Allowances and Transportation Allowances for Leaders and Members of the Bandung Regency DPRD is regulated in Bandung Regent Regulation Number 23 of 2020, indicating that the percentage of increase in housing allowances for both leaders and members, where overall is above 30%. This is what underlies this research. The purpose of conducting this research is to test the appropriateness of the Bandung Regency DPRD allowances for changes in the amount of housing allowances. The method of calculation and data analysis used is to use attachment IIA of Regulation of the Minister of Finance Number 96 / PMK.06 / 2007 and also to use a macroeconomic approach by taking into account Government Regulation Number 18 of 2017 Article 17 which states that in determining it must consider the principles of appropriateness, reasonableness, rationality, standard local prices. The results showed that the change in the amount of allowance made by the Regional Government of Bandung Regency was quite large. This is because the advantages of providing allowances provided by the Regional Government to the Bandung Regency DPRD can actually be a loss, not only for the Bandung Regency area, but for the state. This can be seen from the difference in the calculation results, if multiplied by the number of board members, the number that comes out will be quite large

Wave propagation is a fundamental issue in all over seismic prone areas, including in the Bandung basin. Bandung basin consists of several geological formations. Based on the tectonic conditions, this area is surrounded by active seismic sources. Several main faults play a role part in dynamic soil conditions. Wave propagation from earthquake shaking has a significant impact on the soil surface. Recent studies in the Bandung basin showed the seismic hazard on the bedrock, but less understanding of hazard on the soil surface. Building construction failures caused by the soil surface's ground-shaking correlate linearly with the Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) value. This paper discusses the soil surface acceleration on the Bandung basin using the wave propagation method using a non-linear seismic response analysis. The result shows that the highest soil surface acceleration is found in the Tanjung Jaya village, while the lowest is in Ciwastra village. The PGA value varies between 0.42g to 0.70 g. This research aims to develop a Pictorial-based Two-Tier Multiple Choice Misconception Diagnostic Test on Buffer Solutions. This research uses the Development and Validation method. The development steps in this method consist of test development (design); validity and reliability test; development of determination key; use of tests, and analysis of results. Based on the content validity test using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) method, there are 24 items meet the content validity criteria. Based on the reliability test obtained Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.827 which indicates that the developed test is included in the acceptable category. It can identify high school students' misconceptions about the buffer solutions because the presence of pictures can help students understand the problems about the buffer solutions, and can provide an overview of their mental representations so that misconceptions are revealed more deeply.

Karies dan obesitas merupakan permasalahan yang sering dihadapi pada bidang kesehatan masyarakat terutama pada individu dewasa muda dan prevalensi kondisi tersebut terus meningkat di seluruh dunia. Status obesitas sentral telah dilaporkan memiliki korelasi dengan pengalaman karies, hal tersebut belum bayak dipelajari di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengalaman karies dan status obesitas sentral pada mahasiswa dengan kondisi sehat usia 18-22 tahun. Penelitian cross-sectional ini dilakukan di Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata Kediri dengan jumlah sampel 120. Pengalaman karies dinilai dengan indeks decayed missing filled teeth index (DMFT) dan status obesitas sentral dinilai dengan waist hip ratio (WHR) yang merupakan rasio dari lingkar pinggang (waist circumference) dan lingkar pangggul (hip circumference). Data dianalisa menggunakan SPSS 17 dengan tingkat signifikansi p0,05. Terdapat korelasi antara WHR dan waist circumference (WC) dengan indeks DMFT (p=0,028, r= 0,201; p=0,025, r=0,204). Pada pemerikasaan indeks DMFT didapatkan persentase individu dengan pengalaman karies kategori sangat rendah 14,2% (n=17), kategori rendah 17,5% (n=21) kategori sedang 23,3% (n=28), kategori tinggi 29,1% (n=35) dan kategori sangat tinggi 15,8% (n=19). Pengukuran antropometri didapatkan rerata WC=78,6, hip circumference (HC)=97,3 dan WHR=0,81. Persentase individu yang mengalami obesitas sentral pada laki-laki sebesar 13,3% (n=8) dan pada perempuan 28,3% (n=17). Pada penelitian ini status obesitas sentral memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap indeks DMFT.

This article focuses on academic publications about hate speech within Indonesia's scholarly context. The authors analyse the ongoing discourse on hate speech by conducting a meta-analysis method on 'Garuda', an official website designed as a repository of scholarly publications in Indonesia. By examined 143 scientific articles, this study found that most studies refer to the definition of hate speech from the Circular No. SE/06/X2015 on hate speech issued by the Indonesian National Police. This shows how most Indonesian academics were comfortable with a limited perspective on hate speech. Furthermore, the variety of studies on hate speech comes from law or legal studies and communication or da 'wah communication. Most Indonesian academics also conducted studies on hate speech with a juridical normative approach, as well as qualitative research. Furthermore, some studies have been done with unclear methods and approaches. Academics ideally should serve the people by being critics of power and government apparatus, for example by continuing to question how hate speech is studied, including in the context of its definition and how it affects the implementation in Indonesia. Hence, the authors urge Indonesian academics to do more studies on hate speech from various backgrounds with more rigorous and various research methods to be able to expand knowledge about hate speech cases in Indonesia. This research departs from the performance of Playgroup tutors which can be used to assess the achievement of the tutor's work in planning and implementing the learning process, as well as assessing the learning outcomes in Playgroup units. The research was conducted at the As-Salam Kp. Nagrogjaya, Pagaden District, Subang Regency. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the leadership function of the As-Salam Playgroup manager in improving tutor performance; (2) describe the tutor's performance achievements in increasing competence. The research method was used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The number of informants was 8 people. Based on the findings and discussion, this study obtained the results (1) the manager of the As-Salam Playgroup can actualize the functions of educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators, and motivators as a form of leadership contribution in improving tutor performance; (2) the performance of the tutor is well perceived by the manager of the As-Salam Playgroup, measured by the quality of work, timeliness of work, work initiative, work ability, and communication at work.

BackgroundThe frequency of the beta-thalassemia (β-thalassemia) gene in Indonesia ranges from 3 to 10%. However, in the East Java province, there is still limited information on the prevalence of β-thalassemia mutations in clinically diagnosed beta-thalassemia patients of East Java. Therefore, this study aimed to characterize β-thalassemia mutations in selected patients in the East Java province of Indonesia.MethodsThis is an analytical observational study. Diagnosis of β-thalassemia was based on clinical presentation, complete blood count (CBC), and hemoglobin (Hb) electrophoresis. Blood specimens taken from each patient in three ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) tubes were analyzed for CBC and Hb electrophoresis and processed for DNA extraction and subsequent polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Detection of mutations in Hemoglobin Subunit Beta (HBB) gene exons 1–3 of the β-thalassemia gene as the common mutation in Indonesia was done using PCR followed by Sanger sequencing.ResultsIn total, 33 (n = 33) participants were involved in this study with ages ranging from 5 to 17 years comprising 19 women and 14 men. Their ethnic origins were Javanese (n = 30) and Chinese (n = 3). CBC results showed that mean ± standard deviation (SD) for Hb, red blood cell (RBC), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and red cell distribution width (RDW)-CV were 81.2 ± 7.0 g/L; 3.40 ± 0.39 × 109/L; 71.05 ± 5.72 fL; 24.12 ± 2.45 pg; 33.91 ± 1.47 g/dl; 24.38 ± 6.02%, respectively. Hb electrophoresis revealed that 5 out of 33 participants had beta-thalassemia and 28 out of 33 participants had hemoglobinopathy (Hb) E/beta-thalassemia. Results of Sanger sequencing showed the following genotype variations in the samples: 12 (36.4%) with βCD26/βIVS−I−5; 6 (18.2%) with βCD26/βCD35; 3 (9.1%) with βCD26/βIVS−I−2; 2 (6.1%) with βCD27/28/βCD40; 2 (6.1%) with βIVS−I−1/βCAP+1; and βCD26/βIVS−I−1; βIVS−I−5/βCAP+1; βIVS−I−5/βCD35; βCD26/βCD37; βCD26/βCD15; βCD26/βCD40; and βIVS−I−5/βCD19 in 1 (3%) sample, respectively, and 1 (3%) had no abnormality detected in sequencing even though electrophoresis showed abnormality in the migration pattern. The βCD26/βIVS−I−5 mutation was found in samples that were noted to have Hb E/beta-thalassemia on Hb electrophoresis.ConclusionThe underlying genetic variations are heterogeneous in thalassemia patients in East Java, where 12 variants were found. The most common variant was βCD26/βIVS−I−5, which all accounted for Hb E/beta-thalassemia on Hb electrophoresis. Furthermore, 28 out of 33 participants had hemoglobinopathy (Hb) E/beta-thalassemia.

Ocean dynamics has a direct impact on the distribution of objects or dissolved particles such as marine debris. Hydrodynamic studies are currently an important tool to identify the potential pollution in the region. Data were collected from March to September 2019 in the northern waters of Banda Aceh. Wind data were obtained using AWS and bathymetry data were collected using the single beam echosounder. The results showed that the wind direction on the coast of Banda Aceh City was dominant towards the Northwest and Northeast with a maximum speed of 9 m/s. Wind direction will highly influence the sea surface currents dynamics that lead to longshore currents and radiation currents occur in coastal areas. Keywords: Marine debris Waste Fishery

This research attempts to give perspective to the teachers and lecturers of English regarding a proper syllabus which mainly based on students’ problems on designing good quality of the abstracts of their research. 14 students’ product of abstracts of non-English department in the University of PGRI Yogyakarta would be employed as the main sources of data. The technique of doing this study is by observing on the students’ error production based on the diction and the grammatical aspects. This is a Research and Development which the result is a need-analysis-based syllabus. The syllabus mirrors that most of students have difficulties on finding the proper dictions of certain words, such as cardinal and ordinal numbers. From the perspective of grammar, they found that it is an obstacle to apply certain tense and aspect system of English. Based on these, the researcher expects that teacher and lecturer of English are able to design the more suitable and ready-to-use skills that gained during the classroom activities so that students are able to design the more acceptable abstract of their research to increase the readability and the acceptability of academic writing.
