Olive family (Oleaceae) contains several species among which Olea europaea L. is mostly used for production of olive oils. Various parts of olive tree are rich source of diverse bioactive compounds such as Apigenin, elenolic acid, Hydroxytyrosol, Ligstroside, Oleoside, Oleuropein, Oleuropein aglycone, Tyrosol, etc. Among these, oleuropein, a secoiridoid is predominantly found in olive leaves and young olive fruits of different species of Oleaceae family. Scientists have adopted numerous extraction methods (conventional & latest) to increase the yield of oleuropein. Among these techniques, maceration, soxhlet, microwave-assisted, ultrasonication, and supercritical fluid methods are most commonly employed for extraction of oleuropein. Evidently, this review emphasizes on various in-vitro and in-vivo studies focusing on nutraceutical properties of oleuropein. Available literature highlights the pharmaceutical potential of oleuropein against various diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular complications, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer, inflammation, microbial infections, and oxidation. This review will benefit the scientific community as it narrates comprehensive literature regarding absorption, metabolism, bioavailability, extraction techniques, and nutraceutical perspectives associated with oleuropein. The environmental impact of trade openness has been a subject of extensive research, but gaps exist in understanding how green financing interact with trade openness on carbon emissions in emerging economies. Thus, this research aims to investigate the moderating effect of green financing on the relationship between trade openness and carbon emissions in emerging countries. The study uses a balanced panel dataset comprising BRIC and CIVETS countries spanning 1998 to 2022 years. Employing threshold effect model, we uncover involved patterns and critical thresholds that influence the environmental outcomes of trade dynamics. Finally, this paper employs different econometric models fortifying the methodological underpinning of the study. We find that green financing and trade openness lead to a reduction in carbon emissions as they are negatively associated with emissions. Further, our study finds that green financing interacted with trade openness to reduce carbon emissions because interaction of trade openness makes stronger the relationship to reduce emissions. When these two factors interact, their combined effect is even more potent. Additionally, this study identifies a threshold effect in the role of green financing, where its inhibitory impact on carbon emissions intensifies as the level of green financing increases, lead to greater reductions in emissions. This research contributes in identifying the moderating effects of green financing and the threshold effects on carbon emissions at different levels of green financing. Thus, this article implies that increasing both green financing and trade openness, along with understanding their interactive and threshold effects, is crucial for achieving substantial carbon emissions reductions. Given the rising interest in sustainability globally, this paper investigates whether the environmental management accounting (EMA) and green financing of a firm are associated with superior environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, considering manufacturing firms from emerging economies like Bangladesh to address a gap in relevant research. Drawing on the perspective of contingency theory, this study is one of the first to analyze how EMA and green financing enable sustainable production to enhance ESG performance, as well as the mediation that sustainable production exerts on this relationship. This study entails an analysis of ESG performance in sensitive industries, i.e., those that are more likely to cause social and environmental damage. To test our hypotheses, we applied partial least squares path modeling to analyze data from 467 responses. Further, we used fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to check the robustness. The results suggest that sensitive industries present superior ESG performance through integrating EMA and green financing. Further, empirical evidence demonstrates that sustainable production fully mediates the relationship between EMA and ESG performance. Meanwhile, sustainable production does not moderate green financing and ESG performance. For managers, this study demonstrates how embedding green financing and EMA into the organizational process for transitioning to a sustainable production model can present superior ESG performance. Our study contributes to research on both the impact of EMA and green financing on ESG performance, mediation effects of sustainable production, and integrated analysis using PLS-SEM and fsQCA, and the practice of sustainability management in firms in developing countries. Microfinance plays a crucial role in fostering economic development, especially in underserved and impoverished communities. Using stimulus-organism-response (SOR) theory, the study investigates how microfinance, cost of loan, and individual funding and support affect borrowers' business attitudes and sustainable business growth, as well as the impact of satisfaction with these sources. The study collected 845 data points from the Khulan division of Bangladesh using a convenient sampling technique and analyzed them with Smrt Pls 4 and fsQCA 3 software. The results indicated that microfinance, cost of loan individual finding, and support significantly affect borrowers' business attitudes which in turn has a positive effect on sustainable business growth. The findings further show that apart from the relationship between microbusiness and business attitudes, business satisfaction does not moderate the relationships between cost of loan and business satisfaction as well as individual finding and support and business satisfaction. The study suggests insightful recommendations for academics, MFIs, and policymakers for poverty reduction through ensuring sustainable business conducted by microfinance. This study introduces two new concepts i.e., individual funding and support and business satisfaction as well as a new theory i.e., SOR in microfinance research, extending the theory's applicability, and research scope, and providing new suggestions for further research. The study aims to examine the effects of trade balance, economic growth, green field investment, energy use, financial development, and urbanization on environmental sustainability in BRICS countries. This study proceeds to estimate the long-term association using the fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS) and the dynamic ordinary least square (DOLS) panel estimation methods for the years 1991–2020. This empirical study finds that the ratio of exports to imports has a negative effect on environmental degradation. This indicates that increasing the trade balance eventually leads to environmental sustainability, which finally improves living standards and environmental conditions in the BRICS countries. The findings further show that green field investment and financial development substantially improve environmental sustainability, but energy use, urbanization, and economic growth desperately negatively affect environmental sustainability. Additionally, this research finds a unidirectional relationship of environmental sustainability with trade balance, green field investment, energy use, urbanization, and economic growth rate. This study states how BRICS countries can be protected through trade balance controlling environmental degradation. Thus, this research provides improved orientations to the policymakers of BRICS countries to design policy in favor of the environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
