L´instabilité antérieure de l´épaule suite à une luxation traumatique chez l´adulte jeune est une complication fréquente. La procédure de Latarjet est la technique la plus utilisée pour traiter cette instabilité, consiste à réaliser une butée coracoïdienne au niveau du bord antérieur de la glène. Cependant, l´exposition articulaire au cours de cette technique est souvent limitée et rend le positionnement de la butée difficile. Pour évaluer l´effet de la position de la butée coracoïdienne sur la qualité du résultat fonctionnelle à court et moyen termes. Nous avons étudié chez 70 patients la position de la butée coracoïdienne sur la radiographie standard post-opératoire et le résultat fonctionnel par le score du duplay et le taux de satisfaction. L´âge moyen été de 25 ans et demi, le sexe-ratio était de neuf et le recul moyen était de 6,5 ans. L´étude radiologique a montré que la butée coracoïdienne était en position sus équatoriale ou non affleurante du rebord glénoïdien antérieur (trop interne ou saillante en intra-articulaire) dans 20% des cas. Ce groupe a présenté une baisse du score moyen de stabilité par 7,68 points, de la douleur par 10,04 points et du score global de Duplay par 13,3 points, ainsi qu´une augmentation significative du taux d´arthrose gléno-humérale. Ainsi, une butée coracoïdienne en position sus équatoriale ou non affleurante a un effet délétère sur la qualité des résultats fonctionnels de la technique de Latarjet.

Introduction Since the work of R.H. Rosenman and Meyer Friedman in 1959, a correlation has been established between type A behavioral patterns and the occurrence of coronary heart disease. Type A personality has been found to be more of a coronary risk factor than a poor prognostic factor once coronary disease has set in. Subsequent studies have not supported such a relationship. Objectives The objective of our work was to investigate the association between type A personalities and coronary heart disease. Methods We conducted a retrospective study involving a sample of 200 patients recruited at the Mohamed Tahar Maâmouri Hospital in Nabeul. Our sample was composed of 100 coronary patients hospitalized or followed as outpatients in the cardiology department and 100 controls hospitalized or followed as outpatients in the general surgery or orthopedics department respectively. The study was conducted between April 15 and June 30, 2014. Personality type A was assessed according to the Bortner questionnaire. Results After performing a binary logistic regression to adjust for the associations looked for, and taking into account confounding factors, we did not observe a statistically significant association between type A personality and coronary pathology (p=0.123). Introduction Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Sars-cov2 virus remains unclear concerning its clinical manifestations and its sequelae. Few studies have evaluated the existence of cognitive impairment in patients with COVID-19 and estimated its imputability in the development of these disorders. Objectives The objectives of this study is to assess cognitive disorders in post-COVID patients. Methods A descriptive observational survey was conducted by the psychiatry department of Mongi Slim hospital in Tunis-Tunisia during May-June 2021 among covid-19 patients selected at the first post covid consultation (at 1 month). First, sociodemographic and clinical data were collected, then the evaluation of the cognitive disorders was carried using many scales: MMS (mini mental state), FAB, TMT and the maze task. Results Eight patients met the selection criteria with a sex ratio of 6:2 and an average age of 67.5 years (6 with a primary level). The extent of the lesions varied between 10% and 75%. Among the participants, 4 required hospitalization in intensive care: 3 with non-invasive ventilation and 1 needed intubation. The 1-month evaluation found that all the patients had good memory and execution skills with MMS scales >25 and FAB scales >14. Regarding flexibility and planification: 4 of them needed more than 78 seconds to complete the TMT-A ,3 took more than 273 seconds to complete the TMT-B and 2 needed more than 60 seconds to accomplish the maze task (deficient scores). Conclusions The screening of cognitive disorders in post-COVID patients is very important for a better management that may require early neurocognitive rehabilitation. The first record of the little sleeper shark, Somniosus rostratus (Risso, 1827), from the Tunisian coast, is presented in this note. It was an adult female measuring 990 mm total length and weighing 4500 g. The capture occurred off Ras Jebel located in north-eastern Tunisia at a depth of 120 m. The specimen is herein described including morphological measurements, color, and dental formula. Due to a lack of records, the real status of the species in the Mediterranean Sea remains questionable. Somniosus rostratus is rarely caught in this sea because it lives in deep bottoms poorly exploited by commercial vessels. However, recent captures of specimens and occurrence of nursery grounds suggest that a viable population of S. rostratus is probably established in this sea.

A specimen of Physiculus dalwigki Kaup, 1758 measuring 218 mm in total length, 190 mm in standard length, and weighing 90 g was caught off the northern Tunisian coast. This capture constitutes the first record of this fish from the Tunisian coast. The specimen is described including morphological measurements, meristic counts, and color. Due to a lack of records, the real status of the species in the Tunisian waters still remains questionable. Physiculus dalwigki occurs only off northern Spain and south to the Strait of Gibraltar in the waters surrounding Madera and the Azores Islands, and in the Mediterranean Sea from Nice (southern France) to the Tunisian coast. Therefore, it appears that P. dalwigki is displaying a disjoint distribution with the exclusion of a large western region of the Mediterranean Sea.

Introduction Covid-19 pandemic represents a sanitary crisis with social, economic and political negative impacts. Studies had well established the link between stress and the display or maintenance of addictive behaviour. Measures like social distancing and confinement imposed by governments during this pandemic, could explain an outbreak of internet addiction cases. Objectives Assess the prevalence of internet addiction in times of the covid-19 pandemic and to study its relationship with personal and family factors but also with the psychiatric comorbidities. Methods We conducted a cross sectional analytical study during the period of the covid-19 pandemic, using an internet survey exploring socio-demographic and clinical data: through Hamilton depression and anxiety rating scale and the Rosenberg self esteem scale. The assessment of internet addiction was carried out using Young’s Internet Addiction test. Results Our study included 150 users, the average age was 36 years, mainly made up of women, married, having children, with a good socioeconomic level and of university education. The Mediterranean spiderfish, Bathypterois dubius Vaillant, 1888, is recorded for the first time in Tunisian waters. The specimen was caught in the northwest Tunisian coast. It measured 183 mm in total length and weighed 32.9 g. The specimen is briefly described including morphometric measurements and meristic counts. Its distribution in the Mediterranean Sea is discussed. This capture is the southernmost extension range of the species in the Mediterranean.

A specimen of dusky spinefoot Siganus luridus (Rüppel, 1829) was recorded in the peri-Mediterranean Lagoon of Bizerte located in northern Tunisia. This record constitutes the northernmost extension range of the species in the Tunisian waters, and the second record of a teleost Lessepsian species, known to date in a restricted brackish area. The specimen is described including morphometric measurements and meristic counts. Additionally, the distribution of S. Luridus, herbivorous species, in the Lagoon of Bizerte, the Tunisian waters in the area and in the Mediterranean Sea is commented and discussed.

Captures of 11 spinetail devil rays, Mobula japanica (Müller et Henle, 1841), from the northern coast of Tunisian (central Mediterranean) are reported in the present paper. Of these 11 specimens, five specimens were described. These captures constitute the first records of the species in the Tunisian waters, but also in the Mediterranean Sea, extending its distribution. This unusual occurrence of M. japanica is probably due to a migration from the eastern tropical Atlantic into the Mediterranean Sea through the Strait of Gibraltar.

Two specimens of imperial blackfish, Schedophilus ovalis (Cuvier 1829), were found for the first time off the Tunisian coast, in northern area. Both specimens are described, and occurrence of the species in the area and the Mediterranean Sea is discussed and commented.
