MacWorld 1990 establishes the Macintosh as a mature business machine. Software introductions of particular note to corporate users include PMC Telesystems Inc' Rendezvous, a $200 electronic appointment diary; several packages from Microseeds Publishing, including the $69 INITpicker for managing INIT files, the $99 REDUX back-up utility, and the $99 RIVAL virus killer and monitor; and Lotus Development Corp's announcement of the Marketplace CD-ROM, a product that Lotus claims creates a new type of computing they call 'Desktop Marketing'. Hardware introductions include the Outbound, a portable computer from Outbound Systems Inc that docks to an existing Macintosh Plus or SE; Mac-compatible monitors and cards from Princeton Publishing Labs; and a full-page, swivel monitor from Radius Intelligent Hardware.
