Two field experiments were carried out during the two successive seasons of 2015 and 2016 in a newly reclaimed private farm at Abu El-Matamer region, El-Beheira Governorate. The objective of this investigation was to study the main effects of four N-fertilizer levels (0, 20, 40, 60 kg N fad-1) in the form of ammonium nitrate (33%) and three different stimulator treatments; humic acid (1 and 2 gmL-1) fulvic acid (2.5 and 5 gmL-1) and tryptophan (0.5 and 1 gmL-1 ), as well as their interactions on vegetative growth, leaf chlorophyll, N, P and K contents and yield and its components characters of common bean cv. Nebraska. The obtained results indicated that application of mineral N, significantly increased all the studied growth, minerals and yield characters. The highest N rates (60 kg N fad-1) was remarkable and associated with the highest mean values of the most studied characters. Moreover, the biostimulator treatments application exhibited higher mean values of all studied growth, minerals and yield parameters compared to control. Tryptophan treatment was more pronounced in this concern. It could conclude that fertilization of common bean plants with 60 kg N fad-1 combined with tryptophan at 1 gmL-1 was the best interaction treatment for all the studied parameters.

Two new hexahydropyrimidine compounds were prepared in high yield by condensation of an equimolar amount of 1,3-diamine with 2-dipyridylketone at room temperature in dichloromethane. The desired hexahydropyrimidine structures were confirmed on the basis of their UV-Visible, elemental analysis, FT-IR,1H-NMR, TG/DTG and EI-MS data. Δεν υπάρχει περίληψη στα ελληνικά, Cysticercosis is a parasitic infection that causes severe economic and public health problems. The overall incidence of infection in sheep slaughtered in Cairo, Egypt during meat inspection was 31.22% and precisely 19.72% for Cysticercus tenuicollis and 11.50% for C. ovis. Sera collected from infected animals used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of the extracted antigens using ELISA. The sensitivity of the test was 100% for both C. tenuicollis and C. ovis, while the specificity was 80.26% and 87.03%, respectively. Using EITB the fractions of 36 KDa and 23 KDa appears to be specific for diagnosis of C. tenuicollis; while, 77 KDa and 73 KDa were specific for diagnosis of C. ovis. Moreover, several protein fractions which were detected in all antigens extracted didn’t react with its target sera but at the same time did react specifically versus sera from animals infected with another cysticerci. Those fractions are considered as common immunogenic fractions between different cysticerci, so strictly identified specific fractions must to be used for diagnosis of Cysticerci infection to avoid cross reactions with other cysticerci antibodies.

After the January 2011 Egyptian revolution led to the fall of the pro-western dictator Hosni Mubarak and popular elections that brought Islamist parties to the political forefront, the international community speculated about the country's future. Discussion about Egypt's future involved diverse issues, among them globalization, the English language, and how Islam and modernity interact. In this paper, the authors examine the story of English and its widespread use in Egypt to illustrate how modernization and Islamization have contributed to the spread of the once colonial, now global language—English—in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In This work, we have tried to study the inhibitive effect of two Schiff base named (1E, 2E)-1,2-bis(furan-2-ylmethylene)hydrazine(PP1), and (1E, 2E)-1,2-bis(pyridine -2-ylmethylene)hydrazine (PP2). by using gravimetric and electrochemical methods, furthermore, quantum chemical calculations is an effective process to compare theoretical with experimental results, using DFT/B3LYP method with 6.31G (d,p) as basic set. Results show some good efficiencies for those compounds as inhibitors against corrosion of mild steel in HCl 1M medium reach some satisfied value in 10-3 M., Moroccan Journal of Chemistry, Vol 5, No 2 (2017)

Water pollution is a major environmental problem especially that produced from different industries, which produce large amounts of toxic heavy metals to the soil and wastewater; these heavy metals affect human health. This study was made to study the removal of one of these toxic heavy metals which is Cr(VI) by adsorption technique using silica gel compound 3-Glycidoxypropyl- functionalized silica. The adsorption experiments were applied for a range of pH (2-13), temperature, adsorbent dosage, initial concentration, and contact time. The results revealed that the percentage removal of Cr(VI) decreased with the increase of Cr(VI) concentration, pH and temperature, while the percentage removal increase with increase contact time and adsorbent dose. The removal efficiency for Cr(VI) adsorption was more than 75% after 24 hour this achieved at pH around 6, and temperature 25ºC, using 0.04g weight of dose, at initial concentration 10 ppm for 10 mL Cr(VI) solution. The adsorption of Cr(VI) onto MSiTh was optimized under acidic conditions (pH< 7) at room temperature. According to pseudo second order the Cr(VI) sorption, the results achieved shows the MSiTh is able to remove Cr(VI)within 20 min with high removal efficiency., Applied Journal of Environmental Engineering Science, Vol 2, No 2 (2016)

The water pollution is a big problems faced by the countries of the world, without exception. The product 1-(Pyrrol-2-yl) imine modified silica was successfully prepared by immobilizing 1H-pyrrole-2-carbaldhyde on silica gel previously doped with 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. Over 86% removal efficiency of Cr (VI) was achieved after 5 min, at solution pH around 4, 25°C temperature, 0.01 g weight of dose and initial concentration of 20 mg/L Cr(VI) solution. The amount of Cr(VI) adsorbed per unit mass of (Si-NPr) obtained by pseudo second order model, Qe calc (2.469) were in consistent with the experimental value, Qe exp (2.782) indicate the pseudo second order model better represented the adsorption kinetics. The Langmuir maximum adsorption capacity Qm is 13.05 mg/g, at 25°C, and pH 4 and 0.03 weight of adsorbent dose. The RL value (0.48) at 25 °C) indicates that the adsorption of Cr (VI) on (Si-NPr) is favorable. The adsorption data suited with Langmuir and Freundlich, but Freundlich adsorption model was found to have the highest regression value and the best suit. The fact that the Freundlich model is a good fit to the experimental adsorption data suggests physical adsorption as well as a heterogeneous distribution of active sites on the adsorbent surface. The negative ΔG° values (-4.224 to -1.775 kJ/mol) indicate that the adsorption is favorable and spontaneous at studied temperatures. The negative value of ΔH° (-26.1 kJ/mol) reflects an exothermic adsorption and indicates that the adsorption is favored at low temperature.
