This study aimed to examine the factors and the influence of group dynamics and the independence of fishing group members in catch fisheries agribusiness activities. This research was carried out using a survey method in the Rukun Nelayan Blimbing in Paciran District, Lamongan Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia from February to March 2019. The result showed the group dynamics and independence of fishermen in catch fisheries was high, but group dynamics did not influence the independence of fishermen in catching fisheries agribusiness. The factors that influence group dynamics were structuring, coaching and development, atmosphere, effectiveness. The factors affected the independence of the group were the addition of production facilities, prices, market, and fishermen. Those factors are needed to attain the good management in maximum sustainable yield (MSY).

The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of low commercial value fish species in Lamongan Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The processed data included primary and secondary data. Data were processed using the LQ method and analyzed descriptively by way of compiling data into tables. The survey results showed that there are ten types of low commercial value fish in Lamongan Regency, East Java, Indonesia, namely Sardinella fimbriata (Tembang fish), Leiognathus bindus (Peperek fish), Harpadon nehereus (Puso fish), Sardinella lemuru, (Lemuru fish), Saurida tumbil (Beloso fish), Gerres abbreviatus (Kapasan fish), Anodontostoma chacunda (Juwi fish), and Cynoglossus lingua (Lidah fish). The results of the LQ method showe that there are three types of fish that have the potential to be made of high economic value products, namely L. bindus (11.36), A. chacunda (2.35), and S. fimbriata (2.32). Fish Auction (TPI) that has the potential in terms of fish productivity to be developed is TPI Weru, Lamongan, East Java, Indonesia. The typology of fishermen in TPI Weru has less experience working as a fisherman than other TPI but the level of education is higher and the age of fishermen is younger so that it affects the productivity of fish catches.

Phytase enzyme supplementation in feed is expected to increase the bioavailability of phosphorus and other nutrients. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of phytase enzyme supplementation in feed on growth, mineral digestibility, amino acid digestibility and body chemical composition of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) fed with soybean meal at the rearing stage. The study used common carp fish with an average weight of 18.82 ± 0.26 g/head. The experimental feed was floating pellets supplemented with various doses of phytase enzyme: 0 (A), 500 (B), 1,000 (C) and 1,500 (D) FTU/kg feed. Mineral content (Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn) was analyzed from the dried fish feces using a polarized atomic absorption spectrophotometer. While Na and K contents were determined using a flame photometer, and P content was calorimetrically analyzed. The feed utilization efficiency (EFU), feed conversion ratio (FCR), protein efficiency ratio (PER), relative growth rate (RGR), survival rate (SR) and protein digestibility (ADCp) were determined. The results showed that common carp fed with 1000 FTU/kg phytase enzyme (C) exhibited the highest PER, FCR, EFU and RGR values, compared to other experimental feeds. Common carps given 1000 FTU/kg phytase enzyme (C) recorded the highest mineral values, including Ca, P, Na, K, Mg, Fe, Cu, Mn and Zn. Therefore, phytase enzyme supplementation in feed significantly (P<0.05) increased the growth, mineral digestibility, protein content and amino acid digestibility of C. carpio. The success of intensive aquaculture for river catfish juveniles (Pangasius hypophthalmus Sauvage, 1878) is determined by the availability of good quality feed. Good quality feed does not only contain protein required by the fish; it should also contain essential amino acids to support fish growth. Lysine is a constraint of amino acids in the formulation diet due to the characteristics of the plant-based protein with lysine deficiency. This study was conducted to determine the dietary effects of lysine river catfish juveniles on protein digestibility, body composition, and relative growth rate. The river catfish juveniles used in the study had a mean weight of 8.21 g ± 0.32 g fish –1 . The test feed contained 37.1 % and 19.76 MJ kg –1 . Doses of lysine in the feed were added in an increase of 0.25 g 100 g –1 [1.48 g; 1.73 g; 1.98 g; 2.23 g; 2.48 g, and 2.67 g] 100 g –1 dry diet)]. The results showed that a lysine-added diet with the dose of 2.23 % 100 g –1 dry diet generated the highest values of protein digestibility (ADCp), relative growth rate (RGR), and fish body composition compared to other treatments. The optimal dose of lysine in feed for protein digestibility and relative growth rate of river catfish juveniles were 2.22 % to 2.24 % dry diet. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The availability of good feeding on fish performance is needed to improve the poor aquaculture condition. The study examines the effects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae supplementation on the growth, survival rate, and blood profile of saline red tilapia in the semi-intensive culture. Sixty saline red tilapia (4.58 ± 0.09 g) were divided into five groups and received standard feed with supplementation of S. cerevisiae at different doses: (A-E) 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 g/kg feed. S. cerevisiae was sprayed onto the feed and given to fish three times/day for 49 days. The efficiency of feed utilization (EFU), feed conversion ratio (FCR), the protein efficiency ratio (PER), relative growth rate (RGR), survival rate (SR), and blood profiles were examined. The water quality parameters were also evaluated, including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, NH3, and salinity. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by the Duncan test. The supplementation of 10 g/kg S. cerevisiae could significantly (p<0.05) increase EFU (85.13%), PER (3.76), RGR (4.53%), and survival rate (97.53%), and decrease FCR (1.42) of the saline red tilapia. All doses of S. cerevisiae significantly (p<0.05) increased the number of hematocytes (34.68, 35.96, 34.14, and 34.52%, respectively) and hemoglobin (12.98, 13.58, 12.73, and 12.67%, respectively) of fish. The highest number of erythrocytes and leucocytes was found in dose 10 g/kg feed. All water parameters were stable during the study. Therefore, S. cerevisiae can be used as a feed supplement for red tilapia fish to increase the growth, survival rate, and blood profile of the saline red tilapia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Internet addiction is a pathological condition that drives a person to use technology excessively. Internet addiction can cause problems among adolescents to lose interest in everyday life and triggers social interaction problems. Aim: explaining the correlation between Internet addiction and adolescents' social interaction. This study was a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Respondents in this study were high school adolescents aged 15–18 years (n=215). The independent variable used in this study was Internet addiction and dependent variable was adolescents' social interaction (social interaction between adolescents and parents, peer, school environment and community). The level of Internet addiction was measured by the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) by Kimberly S. Young and Griffiths. The data obtained were analyzed using the Spearman rho. There was a significant that relationship between adolescent Internet addiction and interaction with parents (r=−0.568; p=0.000), peers (r=−0.587; p=0.000), and school environment (r=−0.213; p=0.002) but there was no relation between Internet addiction towards social interaction of adolescents with the community (r=−0, 090; p=0.191). This study showed that Internet addiction could affect adolescent social interactions with parents, peers and their interactions in the school environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
