In this paper, the diagnosis of faults in squirrel cage asynchronous motor and experimental analysis process are presented. Currently there are several simulation tools, that lets users analyze and interpret the behavior of their devices. Based on this, there is a lot of researches that is working on developing models, to detect and classify 3-phase asynchronous motor faults, significantly in the early stages. This work proposed design and experimental analysis established in Comsol Multiphysics 6.0, which implements finite element analysis software (FEM) for detecting and diagnosing broken bar rotors of this types motors and its practical application. In this case, the post processor of the COMSOL-Multiphysics makes it possible to visualize in 2D the various magnetic and mechanical quantities. Through the curves of the magnetic flux density and analysis distribution of the field with magnetic induction lines, we can draw some conclusions, where we proposed an strategy, for detecting and diagnosing faults consistent with the structure of the software. This paper presents the solution of three phases power flow in unbalanced electrical network. The main objective of the three flow analysis of power is to calculate the active and reactive powers flowing in each phase with the magnitude and the angle of the voltage at each bus of the system for the specific loading conditions. In this work, the negative- and zero-sequence components are presented using nodal voltage equations. The three phase power flow is formulated and solved by using Gauss-Seidel and Newton-Raphson methods and has been tested using IEEE 5 bus system. The wind power in this work represented by wind electric system which made up of a wind turbine mounted on a tower to provide better access to stronger winds, after that, we inject wind power generator to show the effect of the wind energy in the power flow for unbalanced electrical power system. Heat and mass transfer in many systems is widely accomplished by applying natural convection processes due to their low cost, reliability, and easy support. Typical applications include different mechanisms in various fields such as solar energy, solar distillers, stream cooling, etc. This paper examines the turbulent natural convection and mass transfer in an open enclosure for different Aspect Ratios (AR = 0.5, 1, and 2) with humid air. Mass fraction and local Nusselt number were examined to investigate the heat and mass transfer. Heat flux boundary conditions were subjected to the lateral walls, the bottom one was an adiabatic wall while the top area was a free surface. The effects of Rayleigh numbers (106 ≤ Ra ≤ 108) on natural convection and mass flow behavior were analyzed. The governing equations were solved using the CFD Fluent code based on the SIMPLE algorithm. Results showed that a cavity with an aspect ratio of AR=2 enhanced the rates of both heat and mass transfer. Maximum heat transfer rates were observed when the Rayleigh number increased due to the more vigorous fluid flow. However, mass transfer improved when the Rayleigh number decreased. The present paper presents a deep study on the possibility of implementing Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants in Algeria for the production of the electrical energy. Indeed, this paper focusses mainly on the main parameters, which can have an important impact on the choice of the location, the dimension and the available thermal energy storage system. In this study, three main parameters are investigate such as the solar Multiple (SM), the thermal energy Storage (TES) capacity and the Capacity Factor (CF),where the main challenge is to find their optimal values based on the available solar energy deposit and the different constraints of the four considered region of Algeria presented in this paper. These optimal values will be used in the implementation and the management of the considered CSP to ensure the maximal probability of the location in terms of balance between the production and the demand of energy. This paper benefits from the onsite real data and the satellite data for finding the optimal values of the aforementioned parameters, where it has been proved that the satellite data can ensure more precise profitability of the available solar energy to ensure more produced electrical power. The obtained results allow to obtain optimized configuration of the implemented CSP and demonstrate that the use of such solar power plant can be of great interest to ensure more times production of the national electrical energy demand, especially in the large Sahar of Algeria which can power several part of the world and neighbour countries.
