15. Practice of quality control circle activities to improve the accuracy of the records of input and output amount in clinical nurses (提高临床护士记录24小时出入量正确率的品管圈实践)

Abstract

Objective To improve the accuracy of the records of input and output amount of clinical nurses through quality control circle(QCC) activities. Methods According to the ten steps of the QCC theory, the subject selection, the current situation, the goal setting, the cause analysis, the implementation of the strategy and the confirmation of the effect were carried out. Clinical department that participated in the QCC of input and output amount from October 14, 2019 to December 25, 2020 were selected as the research object, and inaccurate items of input and output amount that clinical nurses recorded were analyzed. By using the fish bone diagram and other quality control tools, reasons that lead to inaccurate of input and output amount records were determined, followed by the implementation of strategies and effect evaluation. Results Through the activities of QCC, the accuracy of input and output amount was improved from 64. 85% to 89. 13%. Conclusion Application of QCC activities is potentially effective to improve the accuracy of input and output amount, and enhance the team cohesion of the participants and the ability to analyze and solve problem. (目的 探讨品管圈活动提高临床护士记录24小时出入量正确率的效果。方法 按照品管圈理论进行主题选定、现状把握、目标设定、要因分析、对策实施、效果确认等。选取2019年10月14日—2020年12月25日医院参与出入量品管圈活动的科室作为研究对象, 统计分析科室护士记录24小时出入量不准确的项目, 运用鱼骨图等品管工具确定影响记录24小时出入量正确率的原因, 拟定对策加以实施, 并对效果进行评价与检讨。结果 通过开展品管圈活动, 护士记录24小时出入量正确率由64. 85%提高到89. 13%。结论 品管圈活动提高了临床护士24小时出入量记录的正确率, 同时提升了圈员的团队凝聚力及分析解决问题的能力。)

To break through this bottleneck, biomolecules-loaded polymersomes with strong adjustability and versatility have attracted more and more attentions recently. Loading proteins or peptides into polymersomes is the first but extremely important step towards developing high-quality formulation products. However, increasing protein and peptide loading content is quite challenging due to the inherent nature of self-assembled vesicle formation mechanism and physiochemical characteristics of biomacromolecules. This review highlights the potential of polymersomes as the next-generation therapeutic proteins and peptides carrier and emphatically introduces novel approaches and recent progress to achieve satisfactory encapsulation capability of polymersomes for proteins and peptides. On the one hand, with the help of intermolecular interactions, such as electrostatic, lipid–protein, and hydrophobic interactions, the drug loading could be significantly improved. On the other hand, loading improvement could be attained through innovation of preparation methods, ranging from modified traditional film hydration techniques to the novel phase-guided assembly method. 35. Numerical Analysis of Gas Generation and Migration in a Radioactive Waste Disposal Cell of a Deep Geological Repository

Abstract

In a deep geological repository (DGR) for the long term disposal of radioactive waste, gases (e.g., hydrogen (H2), carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4)) can be generated through a number of processes, such as corrosion of various metals and alloys and degradation of organic materials. If gas induced pressure exceeds the containment capacity of the engineered barrier systems (EBS) or the host rock, the gases could migrate through these barriers and potentially expose people and the environment to radiation. Therefore, a good understanding on the long term performance of these barriers against gas migration is an important component in DGR design and safety assessment. In the present work, a numerical model has been developed to simulate one of the gas species, CO2 diffusion in the near field of a DGR with the generation from related chemical reactions. The generation of CO2 was investigated to determine if it is a critical factor to impact the DGR safety under Canadian geological formations. A commercial CFD code, ANSYS Fluent was used for the calculations. The model considered pH and temperature effects on CO2 migration under Canadian DGR geochemistry conditions.
