Purpose Methods Results Conclusion Levels of Evidence The purpose of this study was to evaluate the femoral tunnel position using a modified anatomic transtibial (TT) double‐bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (DBACLR) and to investigate the knee kinematics, graft length and graft bending angle following DBACLR.Ten patients who underwent DBACLR using the modified TT technique were included in the study. All patients performed a single‐legged lunge under a dual fluoroscopic imaging system to assess the 6 degrees of freedom tibiofemoral kinematics. Femoral tunnel position was evaluated via postoperative three‐dimensional (3D) computed tomography. The area centroids of anteromedial (AM) and posterolateral (PL) bundles were determined on 3D knee models. The lengths of AM and PL bundles, as well as graft bending angle at the femoral tunnel aperture, were measured by created virtual fibres.The reconstructed knee rotated more externally compared with the contralateral knee between 0° and 60° (p ≤ 0.049). There is no significant difference in the length change of AM bundle (n.s.) and PL bundle (n.s.) between the two sides from 0° to 120° during the lunge motion. The maximum graft bending angle at the femoral tunnel aperture occurred at 0° of knee flexion, with the AM graft bending angle was 72.6° ± 9.0° and the PL graft bending angle was 90.3° ± 9.7°.The modified TT technique used in this study could achieve anatomical ACL reconstruction, restoring graft length change patterns compared to contralateral knees. However, residual rotational instability of the reconstructed knee was observed after DBACLR, despite achieving anatomic tunnel placement. Therefore, double‐bundle reconstruction may not sufficiently address the persistent rotational instability of the knee. Additionally, larger graft bending angles at the femoral tunnel aperture were found with the modified TT technique. Therefore, further improvement to the TT technique should focus on reducing the graft's curvature while maintaining the anatomical properties of the knee joint. The findings of this study highlight the need for improved surgical techniques to address residual rotational instability and optimise graft curvature. The multi‐layer screen is the key component in the large synchronous generator end zone. The leakage flux, losses, and temperature of end components are significantly affected by the thickness of multi‐layer screen in the synchronous generator. To investigate the influence of multi‐layer screen thickness on the end leakage flux, losses, and temperature in the synchronous generator end zone, 1407MVA nuclear power synchronous generator is studied. Three‐dimensional transient electromagnetic field model of synchronous generator end zone is established. Three‐dimensional transient electromagnetic field in the end zone of 1407MVA synchronous generator with the multi‐layer screen is calculated based on the novel iterative method. The flux density of end components is compared and studied in the end zone under the variation of multi‐layer screen thickness. Influence of the different thicknesses of multi‐layer screen on the losses of the shield plate, screen, finger plate, and stator end core is researched. The losses of end components obtained from 3D end electromagnetic field calculation are applied to the end zone as the heat source in the three‐dimensional fluid and thermal coupled field. The temperature distribution of the end components is determined. The accuracy of the calculated results is validated by the experimental values. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We report on bulk-heterojunction solar cells fabricated based on ternary mixed solutions of two donors of poly[[4,8-bis[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo [1,2-b:4,5-b’] dithiophene-2, 6-diyl] [3-fluoro-2- [(2-ethylhexyl) carbonyl]thieno[3,4-b]-thiophenediyl] (PTB7) and [N-9’-heptadecanyl-2,7-carbazole-alt-5,5-(4’,7’-di-2-thienyl-2’,1’,3’-benzothiadiazole)] (PCDTBT), and an accepter of [6,6]-phenyl C71butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM). The solar cells had a glass/ITO/NiO/PTB7:PCDTBT:PC71BM/LiF/Al structure. Solar cells containing a 1-2% PCDTBT weight fraction showed a noticeable improvement in short circuit current density (Jsc), fill factor (FF), and power conversion efficiency (PCE). Solar cells with a 2% PCDTBT weight fraction exhibited an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.77 V,Jscof 13 mA/cm2, FF of 0.42, and PCE of 4.23%. Possible mechanisms for the solar cell performance improvement by the introduction of the small amount of PCDTBT in the PTB7:PC71BM active layer was discussed based on the active layer morphology changes and carrier transport mechanisms. Nickel oxide (NiO) has become attractive as a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT :PSS) substitute in solar cells’ hole transport layers (HTLs). However, solar cells with NiO HTLs based on poly[[4,8-bis[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo [1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene-2,6-diyl] [3-fluoro-2-[(2-ethylhexyl)carbonyl]thieno[3,4-b]-thiophenediyl] (PTB7) and [6,6]-phenyl C71butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) remain poorly characterized. We report the effects of NiO-layer thickness on the performance of glass/ITO/NiO/PTB7:PC71BM/LiF/Al-structured solar cells. Thickness was optimized by changing nickel acetate tetrahydrate concentration in 2-methoxyethanol solution used for spin-coating deposition. We achieved a power conversion efficiency of 5.14% at 0.2 M of nickel acetate tetrahydrate. Solar cells with NiO HTLs exhibited improved long-term reliability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
