The rivers and lakes are not only important parts of the wetland, but the main agricultural irrigation water and important freshwater resources. The changes of the rivers and lakes have heavy effect on the environment and economy. Taking Zhuhai City as the study area, selecting the rivers and lakes as research object, using the Landsat5 TM data in 1995, Landsat7 ETM + data in 2002, CBERS-02B CCD and HR data in 2009 as the main information source, this paper makes an remote sensing interpreation using the combined method of the supervised classification, non-supervised classification, man-computer interactive interpretation and rule-decision classification. Thus, the thematic information of the rivers and lakes are extracted at the three phases in Zhuhai City; then the spatial distribution pattern and dynamic change rules of the rivers and lakes in Zhuhai City are monitored; finally, the driving force of these changes are analyzed. The results show: the area of the rivers increased 6% from 1995 to 2009; but to the lakes, decreased 58%. The increase of the rivers area is because reclamation projects cause the big change of the sea-land position; whereas the decrease of the lakes area is due to the factors such as the warming climate and increasing populaiton.

Taking for example Daning County, a key pilot area of “the Three North Protection Forest Project” in China’s Loess Plateau, this article is to explore the method of using remote sensing technology to monitoring the dynamic change information of forest vegetation. It uses LANDSAT TM, CBERS-1 data and aerial remote sensing and ground investigation to monitoring the dynamic change of forest vegetation information of Daning County in three different periods – 1978, 1987 and 2000. The results of the research prove that, this method is worth widely popularized, by which the dynamic change information of the forest vegetation can be monitored simply and quickly so as to explore a scientific, rational and effective road for us to rectify the territory of China’s Loess Plateau, change the poor physiognomy of this area, improve the ecological environment and promote the development of national economy.

Based on the information source of Landsat TM data, colour aerial photographs and ground investigation data, remote sensing and GIS techniques were used for the task of soil erosion types and intensity classification in Shanxi province during May–July. As a result, the reliable data and maps were provided in time to National Water Conservancy Ministry and local water conservancy departments. The research reflects the advantages of integration of RS and GIS techniques, which is worth popularizing and applying.

In this paper, a method to interpret the high, mid, low salinized ploughland and the salinized wasteland using comprehensive aerophoto interpretation principles will be described for Xinding Basin, Shanxi Province. The dynamic change of salinized soil during 7 years from 1980 to 1987 will be compared with the typical Dingxiang County. The map and data obtained, with an accuracy of more than 90%, are provided to the local government as the scientific grounds to instruct agricultural productivity. Soil salinization is a worldwide problem. With the sharp increase in world population and modem industrialisation development, the natural resource consumption is increasing day and day, and bringing about a lack of land resource worldwide. As a kind of back-up land resource, salinized land has not only attracted the concem and study of the agricultural scientists in all countries, but also by the whole society. Shanxi is such a province in China where more than 1 3 of its total area of irrigation land is salinized. The statistics used to monitor this salinized area lack objectivity and accuracy. In 1987, the govemment of Shanxi Province began to investigate the salinized area of the whole province, using remote sensing technology. We selected the Xinding Basin in central Shanxi as the test district to perform the aerial remote sensing investigation, and, at the same time, studied the salinization dynamic change on the Dingxiang County used as the typical district.

In view of problems in the exploitation and utilization of coal resources, this paper designs a system based on the integration technology of RS (Remote Sensing) and GIS (Geographical Information System), and analyzes the future of this system in the sustainable development of coal resources.

The dissertation introduced the development of the real-time imaging inspection technique, and contrast study of the techniques of the radiography on film and real-time imaging from the principle, technique parameter, system composing, post disposal manner and archive. Taking a verification test of inspected the main rotor blade and composite material insert part with the radiography on film and real-time imaging, the result is that the two kinds of inspection techniques are similar in two kinds of parts. If using the real-time imaging technique can improve the working efficiency, reduce the labor intensity and improve environmental protection. However, there are no evaluation criteria of imaging for the real-time imaging technique now, and still using the criteria films as the acceptance criteria. The radiography on film is the main inspection means, but the real-time imaging technique will be the development direction.

Whether the helicopter or the aerotransport, NDT methods are used in the development phase, manufacture phase, use phase and maintenance phase. Especially penetrant testing is the efficient measure. We confirm the parts which do the penetrant testing according to the load in the development phase; Have penetrant testing after the working procedure which produce the defects in manufacture phase; Have penetrant testing for the area which use the big load in use phase. We must ensure the validity of penetrant testing in every phase. The arrangement of penetrant procedure, surface prepare of machine parts, protection of on-working parts, these are all the problems in the practice working. We analysis and innovate these problems, halve the experience with the other NDT technicians.
