Abstract

The rising global morbidity and mortality rates of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) underscore the urgent need for more effective treatments. Current therapeutic modalities—including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy—face several limitations. Recently, Astragalus membranaceus, a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), has captured significant attention due to its broad pharmacological properties, such as immune regulation, anti-inflammatory effects, and the modulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and enzyme activities. This review delivers a comprehensive summary of the most recent advancements and ongoing applications of Astragalus membranaceus in NSCLC treatment, underlining its potential for integration into existing treatment protocols. It also highlights essential areas for future research, including the elucidation of its molecular mechanisms, optimization of dosage and administration, and evaluation of its efficacy and safety alongside standard therapies, all of which could potentially improve therapeutic outcomes for NSCLC patients. 23. Interindividual Correlation and Dimension-Based Dual Learning for Dynamic Multiobjective Optimization

Abstract

Dynamic multiobjective optimization problems (DMOPs) are characterized by their multiple objectives, constraints, and parameters that may change over time. The challenge in solving DMOPs is how to track the varying Pareto-optimal solution sets quickly and accurately. Therefore, an interindividual correlation and dimension-based dual-learning method is proposed in this article. Two learning strategies, decomposition-based interindividual correlation transfer learning (DICTL) and dimension-wise learning (DL), are developed to, respectively, generate one-half of the initial population in the new environment. More specifically, DICTL learns the interindividual correlation from the final population of the adjacent environment and then transfers it to the new environment, aiming to maintain the diversity and distribution of the predicted population. While DL extracts the changing pattern of dynamic environments from the high-quality solutions of historical environments in the perspective of variable dimension, trying to improve the quality of the population and accelerate the convergence. The designed two learning strategies (DICTL&DL) work complementarily and collaboratively to make the algorithm adapt to dynamic environments better and faster. Comprehensive experiments have been conducted by comparing the proposed method with four state-of-the-art algorithms on 14 benchmark problems. The results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method.

Abstract

Traditional control strategy for a power decoupling circuit typically involves a dedicate ripple power control loop, which makes it hard to achieve satisfied transient performance. Meanwhile, traditional single-phase ac–dc converters achieve active power decoupling function with extra power switches, which inevitably increased the cost of the system. In this paper, a controller based on automatic power decoupling concept is proposed for a dependent power decoupling circuit with no extra switches. Compared with the existing methods, the system controlled by the proposed controller has superior transient performance with simplified controller's structure. The controller parameter's design procedures will also be illustrated step by step with the help of the bode diagram. In comparison with traditional control methods, simulations and experiments verify the feasibility of the proposed control methods on the dependent power decoupling circuit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
