Research has been conducted on O-acetylserine sulfhydrylase reaction. Results demonstrate that although S272 affects this reaction, the enzyme is still active.

Research has been conducted on the inhibition of the gastric H,K-ATPase by imidazo[1,2-alpha]pyridine, SCH28080. The results of the scanning site-directed mutagenesis indicate that residue mutations on the adjacent side of the M5-6 loop and M6 itself allow K (super)+ to access the ion transport site in the presence of bound SCH28080.

Research has been conducted on metallic ytterbium. The transmetalation reaction of this ytterbium with Hg[Co(CO) (sub)4] (sub)2 carried out in tetrahydrofuran and pyridine is described and the results indicate that the reaction products are solvent-separated ion pairs.

Research has been conducted on the cyclometalated Pt(thpy)(CO)(Cl) monomers where thpy is 2-(2'-thienylpyridinate). The emitting triplet state of these monomers has been investigated via the use of the optically detected magnetic resonance spectroscopy and high-resolution optical spectroscopy and the results are reported.
