The article deals with a set of economic, social and psychological factors that result in decrease of birth-rate and render the market incentives in overcoming depopulation of Russia inefficient. Doubts about the appropriateness of Western models, which are being continuously and ineffectively adapted to Russian reality by researchers from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, call for attempts at finding solution within the framework of social constructivism. Analytical sessions and a sociological research into circumstances and considerations, which are perceived as those impeding the realization of the reproductive potential of Russian women, helped to lay down the conceptual statements on the formation of new strategies aimed at inclusion of reproductive labor in the process of social production. Ascertained were the specific social-psychological and medical factors that influence reproductive processes and can bring about considerable demographic changes.

This article aims at analysing the financial and organizational mechanisms of the third sector, namely the non-profit organisations (NPOs) and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). In addition, it focuses on the sustainable development of non-profit and non-governmental organizations. The paper shows that in order to achieve sustainable development and embark upon the path of the “green economy”, NPOs and NGOs need to apply effective financial and organisational mechanisms that would also coincide with their regional priorities and socio-economic objectives that would take into account the environmental specifics and priorities of the given region. The article draws various examples and case studies from various countries and regions around the world to prove its points and provide some guidelines for relevant stakeholders and regulators.

This paper describes the methods and techniques of the ways personnel security is ensured and maintained in the sustainable transport industry. In addition, it focuses on the novel methods and technologies used by the human resource managers for selecting and hiring candidates for jobs in the transport and logistic sector. Furthermore, it gives a comprehensive overview of human capital management in the transport industry and provides a detailed analysis of several segments covered. It offers a detailed insight into the growth markets and their impact on the human resource management market in the transport industry. Our results demonstrate that the majority of the world's largest transportation and logistics companies believe that data-driven decision-making is essential to supply chain activities and is hiring the right employees. The paper shows that this data-driven approach might be the best solution for optimizing performance and achieving the standards of sustainable and environmentally-friendly business both at the personnel level and at the level of operation and efficient management. Moreover, it stresses the importance of the artificial intelligence and deep learning in the development of the sustainable transport industry.

The article is devoted to the analysis and evaluation of the existing approaches to the system of retraining and development of middle level managers of mines and opencast mining sites of the region. Increase of the overall performance of coal industry enterprises requires a more advanced system of retraining of operational and managerial personnel. Based on the historical experience of professional training of previous years, we attempted to propose an approach to organizing the process of professional development that meets the requirements of the time. Tasks for improvement of professional skills and priority areas of training were identified based on analytical data of group questionnaires. A series of indepth interviews with top managers of coal enterprises made it possible to determine the existing level of training; the content analysis of documents was used to study the content of programs, forms and methods of training; a survey was conducted to determine the level of critical knowledge of employees who received training over the past year.
