Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of Game Theory with applications to medicine problems, including evolution of tumor cells and their competition, applications to neocortical epilepsy surgery and schizophrenic brain. Recent studies related to microarray games for cancer problems will be considered. These models may be used for applications to neurological and allergic diseases. At the end, the model of kidney exchange via the Matching Theory proposed by Alvin Roth, Nobel prize 2012, will be discussed.

Abstract

In this paper we consider multicriteria interval games. The importance of multiobjectives follows from applications to real world. We consider interval valued games and extend some classical solutions for cooperative games to this new class in multicriteria situations.

This paper focuses on the Banzhaf value for cooperative games with a finite set of players where the coalition values, expressed by the characteristic function, are compact intervals of the real numbers. We generalize the Banzhaf value for TU-cooperative games to the class of games with interval uncertainty which have many applications. Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss a new concept of well-posedness for non cooperative games. Starting from the definition of (∊,k) equilibrium as the point where every player either guarantees at least k or he (she) does not lose more than ∊, we introduce an original definition of well-posedness. We study characterizations of this well-posedness and its relations with the more known Tikhonov well-posedness.
