The dam is a building that functions to hold air by blocking the flow of river water. Seepage under the foundation can occur through pores so needs to be cement injection. This research was carried out based on the Secondary Permeability Index (SPI) method in grouting evaluation which still needs to be carried out. The foundation of the Jlantah dam rests on lapilli tuff, agglomerate and volcanic breccia with different characteristics. At this research location there are four relationships between RQD and SPI. Relationship with Type A which shows SPI with Class A to B1 (Very Good to Good) with a low RQD value, caused by the high intensity of interlocking discontinuity areas, and no need for foundation repairs which are rarely found. Type B, which shows RQD is directly proportional to SPI, is found second most frequently. Type C, which shows SPI with Class B2 and C (Fair to Poor) with low RQD due to the high intensity of interlocked discontinuity areas that require cement injection, is the first. Type D shows SPI with Classes C and D (Poor to Very Poor) with high RQD values caused by several faults with the 3rd largest wide opening found.

Health cadres and community leaders’ empowerment to become flood disaster preparedness cadres (Kader Siaga Bencana, KSB) still needs to be improved. The study aimed to assess flood management practices among families with disaster-vulnerable groups, as well as KSB candidates (posyandu/health cadres, community leaders) in flood management initiatives in flood-prone areas. The study used a cross-sectional design of 100 families with flood-prone groups and 100 health cadres and community leaders. They were selected using simple random sampling in five selected villages of Jakarta city affected by floods and Disaster Alert Villages (Kasmpung Siaga Bencana, DAV). Most family respondents had a low knowledge level of DAV, and inadequate knowledge of flood warning system, emergency response plan, and flood management practices, despite having good family support. Health cadres and community leaders as KSB candidates were assessed using four parameters of knowledge on KSB – flood early warning system, emergency response plan, natural hazards and flood knowledge, and flood management practice. With their sound understanding of natural hazards and floods, health cadres and community leaders were 4.52 times more likely to have good flood management practices compared to those with inadequate knowledge. Both elements of the community have the potential to be KSB because of good disaster knowledge and the presence of the flood early warning system in the community. Intervention studies to increase the knowledge and practical ability of KSB in disaster management are also needed. Contribution: The research assessed the initial readiness of health cadres and community leaders to become disaster preparedness cadres in flood management. It is necessary to provide training to develop their expertise as KSB.

This study aims to confirm the effect of industrial education 4.0 on data, technology, and human literacy among postgraduate students in Indonesia. The research adopted covariance-based structural equation modeling by employing AMOS 25 to examine the relationship between variables. The model estimation was performed using confirmatory factor analysis as a standard model for measuring industrial education 4.0 and involved structural model analysis to confirm the hypotheses. The population in this research paper was 2.958 postgraduate students in 32 study programs, while the sample was 312 respondents, which was determined using the proportional random sampling technique. This study tested the three hypotheses proposed, showing that industrial education 4.0 has a positive and significant effect on data literacy, technological literacy, and human literacy among postgraduate students in Indonesia. This paper raises the need for developing industrial education 4.0 on these literacies.

The building sector has contributed to reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption by implementing green buildings in the last decade. Green building performance evaluation studies can be evidence to the community about the advantages of implementing sustainability concepts in the building sector, such as through Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE). Several POE studies have been conducted to measure building performance. Nevertheless, only a few literature studies about POE specifically for Green Building. Thus, this study aims to conduct a review about POE in green buildings literature, to 1) identify the prominent institutions, countries, publishers, authors, and keywords of this topic; 2) identify the gaps in building types, and green building standards of this research topic; 3) identify green building standards, building types, countries, POE purposes, indicators, and analysis methods used of selected articles. This article’s method uses bibliometric and scientometric analysis using VOSviewer, a database set from Scopus. The data uses 116 articles, 249 institutions, 27 countries, 48 sources, 326 authors, and 897 keywords related to POE studies in green buildings. The findings from this research will be useful for practitioners interested in improving the quality of green building standards.

Abstract Background Nitrogen-fixing nodules occur in ten related taxonomic lineages interspersed with lineages of non-nodulating plant species. Nodules result from an endosymbiosis between plants and diazotrophic bacteria; rhizobia in the case of legumes and Parasponia and Frankia in the case of actinorhizal species. Nodulating plants share a conserved set of symbiosis genes, whereas related non-nodulating sister species show pseudogenization of several key nodulation-specific genes. Signalling and cellular mechanisms critical for nodulation have been co-opted from the more ancient plant-fungal arbuscular endomycorrhizal symbiosis. Studies in legumes and actinorhizal plants uncovered a key component in symbiotic signalling, the LRR-type SYMBIOSIS RECEPTOR KINASE (SYMRK). SYMRK is essential for nodulation and arbuscular endomycorrhizal symbiosis. To our surprise, however, despite its arbuscular endomycorrhizal symbiosis capacities, we observed a seemingly critical mutation in a donor splice site in the SYMRK gene of Trema orientalis, the non-nodulating sister species of Parasponia. This led us to investigate the symbiotic functioning of SYMRK in the Trema-Parasponia lineage and to address the question of to what extent a single nucleotide polymorphism in a donor splice site affects the symbiotic functioning of SYMRK. Results We show that SYMRK is essential for nodulation and endomycorrhization in Parasponia andersonii. Subsequently, it is revealed that the 5’-intron donor splice site of SYMRK intron 12 is variable and, in most dicotyledon species, doesn’t contain the canonical dinucleotide ‘GT’ signature but the much less common motif ‘GC’. Strikingly, in T. orientalis, this motif is converted into a rare non-canonical 5’-intron donor splice site ‘GA’. This SYMRK allele, however, is fully functional and spreads in the T. orientalis population of Malaysian Borneo. A further investigation into the occurrence of the non-canonical GA-AG splice sites confirmed that these are extremely rare. Conclusion SYMRK functioning is highly conserved in legumes, actinorhizal plants, and Parasponia. The gene possesses a non-common 5’-intron GC donor splice site in intron 12, which is converted into a GA in T. orientalis accessions of Malaysian Borneo. The discovery of this functional GA-AG splice site in SYMRK highlights a gap in our understanding of splice donor sites.

This study aims to examine the factors that affect entrepreneurial awareness and intention in Junior High School students This research used a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM by considering that the model employed unobserved variables and measured using different scale. This research applied convenience sampling and obtained 97 Junior High School students spread across Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (the Greater Jakarta) as the research samples. Furthermore, this research proved that entrepreneurial awareness and self-efficacy significantly affected entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, entrepreneurship education, financial knowledge, and entrepreneurship experience did not significantly affect entrepreneurial intention. Meanwhile, entrepreneurial awareness was influenced by financial knowledge. The results proved that financial knowledge mediated the effects of financial socialization on entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial awareness. Meanwhile, financial knowledge had some effects on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial awareness. The empirical results emphasized the importance of the role of families and schools in building entrepreneurial awareness and intention.

Co-firing is the activity of adding biomass to the combustion process as a mixed fuel for coal in power plants. In 2021 co-firing has been carried out at 17 PLTUs in Indonesia. The co-firing program at a steam power plant is a form of reducing coal consumption which can reduce carbon emissions while increasing the use of renewable energy without increasing investment in new power plants. PLTU X in West Java, Indonesia has implemented co-firing using sawdust biomass using the direct method without adding or modifying equipment. The use of biomass is obtained from wood-cutting waste, with a ratio of sawdust biomass usage

The situation during Covid-19 requires businesspeople to adapt to existing conditions and survive in an industry. It should be realized that not all SMEs have the same digital literacy, so it needs support from various parties to provide understanding and assistance to improve the skills of SMEs in utilizing digital platforms in business activities. The contribution of Lapaksenggol.com in community service activities to the Jakarta SMEs group (Jakpreneur), which is under the guidance of the East Jakarta Sub-Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives and SMEs is in its second year, where through this proposal, the team seeks to improve service quality by developing the service features of the Lapaksenggol.com website. The workshop was carried out for six months, starting from April to September 2022. Considering the Covid-19 pandemic, various activities will be implemented face-to-face (on the network) through Zoom. The results obtained from the socializations are the introduction of the Lapaksenggol.com marketplace and provided understanding to SMEs about the importance of doing social media advertising, managing finances in business activities, and introducing the SIAPIK application to support the business activities of SMEs in East Jakarta.

Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran dan kontribusi yang cukup besar dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Jumlah UMKM juga cukup banyak yakni sekitar 64,19 juta skala nasional dan 9.582 di wilayah Tangerang Selatan. Namun demikian, permasalahan UMKM yang tidak dapat dipungkiri adalah pembukuan yang belum tertib dan rapi, pemenuhan aspek perpajakan yang belum tepat, dan peluang pengembangan usaha (e-commerce) yang belum disadari. Tiga permasalahan itu ditemukan saat studi pendahuluan pada UMKM Dafizdi Tangerang Selatan, yang boleh jadi mencerminkan permasalahan bagi UMKM lainnya. Melalui pendekatansecara three in one (pembukuan, perpajakan, dan peluang ekspor), tim mengeksplorasi pendampingannya ke mitra UMKM Dafiz. Tim berhasil merealisasikan pendampingan tiga area tersebut melalui asistensi, simulasi praktik, dan penyusunan modul atau panduan teknis. Pada akhir kegiatan, UMKM Dafiz mengaku puas atas kegiatan pendampingan tersebut, dan berharap dapat diberikan pendampingan serupa ke UMKM lainnya di masa mendatang.

Axial bearing capacity is an important factor in designing of foundation. It must be able to carry the load of upper structure without any significant deformation due to important role in pile design. A part from empirical and numerical methods, axial pile bearing capacity can be predicted by pile driving analyzer test that use wave equation analysis during the test. Prediction of the axial bearing capacity and its distribution can be achieved by combining wave equation analysis with dynamic pile monitoring. This paper compares the axial capacity of pile obtained from PDA records with predicted axial capacities obtained using empirical, numerical, and interpretation of static load test method. The empirical method used NSPT data from bore testing that conduct in site, finite element method that uses in this study is Plaxis 8.6. Both of them was compared with PDA test result of axial bearing capacity. There is a difference value of the calculation results of axial pile bearing capacity and foundation settlement. Comparing with PDA, from empirical method has smallest deviation for axial bearing capacity which equal to -268.45 kN with percentage -6.05%, smallest settlement equal to 0,0044 m. Plaxis result shows that distinction between Qult result equal to -11.00 kN with percentage -0.24% and settlement of foundation equal to 0,005 m. From interpretation of static loading test method smallest deviation for Qult which equal to -40,00 kN, with percentage -0,90%, and smallest settlement equal to 0,0055 m. So, from all method the smallest deviation for Qult and PDA result is used finite element method. This is due to many data parameters has been inputted and analyzed in the Plaxis program, so the results of calculation analysis are more detailed and closer to the situation in the research site. Differences in axial bearing capacity can be caused by the test was carried out which depends on the accuracy of operator and parameters that used in the calculations.

Abstract Introduction While thyrotropin-releasing hormone is known to be a prolactin-release stimulating factor, thyrotropin-releasing hormone-tartrate and its derivative, taltirelin hydrate, are used for the treatment of spinocerebellar degeneration, a degenerative disease characterized mainly by motor ataxia. We report the case of a patient being treated with a thyrotropin-releasing hormone preparation for spinocerebellar degeneration who developed amenorrhea after a dose increase. Her hormonal background was analyzed and the effect of prolonged exposure to thyrotropin-releasing hormone on pituitary prolactin-producing cells was examined in vitro. Case presentation Our patient was a 36-year-old Japanese woman who experienced worsening of gait disturbance at around 23 years of age, and was subsequently diagnosed as having spinocerebellar degeneration. She had been treated with thyrotropin-releasing hormone-tartrate for four years. Taltirelin hydrate was added to the treatment seven months prior to her presentation, followed by an improvement in gait disturbance. Around the same period, she started lactating and subsequently developed amenorrhea three months later. Taltirelin hydrate was discontinued and she was referred to our hospital. She was found to have normal sex hormone levels. A thyrotropin-releasing hormone provocation test showed a normal response of thyroid-stimulating hormone level and an over-response of prolactin at 30 minutes (142.7 ng/mL). Resumption of menstruation was noted three months after dose reduction of thyrotropin-releasing hormone. In our in vitro study, following long-term exposure to thyrotropin-releasing hormone, cells from the rat pituitary prolactin-producing cell line GH3 exhibited an increased basal prolactin promoter activity but showed a marked decrease in responsiveness to thyrotropin-releasing hormone. Conclusions Physicians should be aware of hyperprolactinemia-associated side effects in patients receiving thyrotropin-releasing hormone treatment. Long-term treatment with a thyrotropin-releasing hormone preparation might cause a large amount of prolactin to accumulate in prolactin-producing cells and be released in response to exogenous thyrotropin-releasing hormone stimulation.

Lahan kritis menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas dan produktivitas dari lahan sehingga tidak dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi tingkat lahan kritis yang terdapat di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Krueng Peusangan dan mendapatkan model pengelolaan lahan kritis terbaik berdasarkan waktu pada DAS Krueng Peusangan. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan menentukan sebaran lahan kritis di DAS Krueng Peusangan dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Setelah didapatkan distribusi lahan kritis di DAS Krueng Peusangan, lalu dibuat model pengelolaan lahan kritis dengan dua skenario yaitu skenario berdasarkan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) dan skenario berdasarkan land use protection. Kemudian dibandingkan scenario mana yang terbaik untuk mengelola lahan kritis di DAS Krueng Peusangan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pada DAS Krueng Peusangan, lahan tidak kritis sebesar 15%, lahan potensial kritis sebesar 10%, lahan agak kritis sebesar 53%, lahan kritis sebesar 9% dan lahan sangat kritis sebesar 13%. Berdasarkan identifikasi lahan kritis di DAS Krueng Peusangan, total luas lahan kritisnya adalah 191.760,02 Ha. Hasil simulasi dengan skenario RTRW yang dijalankan dalam waktu 20 tahun hingga tahun 2042 diprediksi terjadi pengurangan luas lahan kritis yaitu menjadi 174.178,52 Ha. Sedangkan hasil simulasi dengan skenario land use protection diprediksi terjadi pengurangan luas lahan kritis yaitu menjadi 164.914,83 Ha. model pengelolaan lahan kritis yang terbaik berdasarkan waktu pada DAS Krueng Peusangan yaitu dengan berdasarkan skenario land use protection.

Background: Coal production in Indonesia continues to increase to meet national energy needs and export demand. Solid waste from the coal combustion process is estimated to increase significantly. One of the hazardous mining wastes is TENORM, but some TENORM is classified as production goods with economic value. The problem in this research is that the volume of waste containing TENORM is quite large, and the disposal, use, and recycling of TENORM has the potential to cause contamination for workers at the steam power plant and the surrounding environment. Objective: The purpose of this research is to obtain a design model for the protection of the environment and workers against TENORM radioactive waste from coal ash through an analysis of the social and economic perceptions of steam power plant workers regarding TENORM radiation and the effectiveness of TENORM radiation protection education to workers. Methods: A mixed method with a quantitative approach was applied. Data were gathered through field observation utilizing a questionnaire instrument that asked workers working at Steam Power Plant Units 1 – 7 a series of written questions. Results: Prior to Counseling, most Suralaya Steam Power Plant workers had shallow social and economic perceptions of TENORM radiation, with 88 percent unaware of its effects. The majority also paid between 100,000 and 500,000 IDR monthly in medical expenses. All respondents agreed that TENORM radiation safety counseling for Suralaya Steam Power Plant workers was utterly compelling, with acceptance of TENORM and WTP estimates following Counseling being the most important aspect. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the WTP variable after Counseling and the variables acceptance of TENORM protection (0.730), TENORM knowledge (0.627) before and after Counseling (after Counseling), and acceptance of TENORM protection (0.648), according to the pattern of protection for the SEM model.

Partial-thickness rotator cuff tears (PTRCTs) are often found in daily orthopedic practice, with most of the tears occurring in middle-aged patients. An anaerobic process and imbalanced oxygenation have been observed in PTRCTs, resulting in oxidative stress. Studies have shown the roles of oxidative stress in autophagy and the potential of unregulated mechanisms causing disturbance in soft tissue healing. This article aims to review literature works and summarize the potential pathology of oxidative stress and unregulated autophagy in the rotator cuff enthesis correlated with chronicity. We collected and reviewed the literature using appropriate keywords, in addition to the manually retrieved literature. Autophagy is a normal mechanism of tissue repair or conversion to energy needed for the repair of rotator cuff tears. However, excessive mechanisms will degenerate the tendon, resulting in an abnormal state. Chronic overloading of the enthesis in PTRCTs and the hypovascular nature of the proximal tendon insertion will lead to hypoxia. The hypoxia state results in oxidative stress. An autophagy mechanism is induced in hypoxia via hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs) 1/Bcl-2 adenovirus E1B 19-kDa interacting protein (BNIP) 3, releasing beclin-1, which results in autophagy induction. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation would induce autophagy as the regulator of cell oxidation. Oxidative stress will also remove the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) from the induction complex, causing phosphorylation and initiating autophagy. Hypoxia and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress would initiate unfolded protein response (UPR) through protein kinase RNA-like ER kinase (PERK) and activate transcription factor 4, which induces autophagy. Oxidative stress occurring in the hypovascularized chronic rotator cuff tear due to hypoxia and ROS accumulation would result in unregulated autophagy directly or autophagy mediated by HIF-1, mTOR, and UPR. These mechanisms would disrupt enthesis healing.

Indonesia merupakan wilayah yang rawan terhadap kejadian bencana, baik bencana alam, kegagalan teknologi maupun bencana karena ulah manusia hingga kedaruratan kompleks. Semua hal tersebut jika terjadi akan menimbulkan krisis kesehatan, antara lain : timbulnya korban massal, konsentrasi massal pengungsian, masalah pangan dan gizi, masalah ketersediaan air bersih, masalah sanitasi lingkungan, terganggunya pengawasan vektor, penyakit menular, lumpuhnya pelayanan kesehatan, stres pasca trauma dan kelangkaan tenaga kesehatan. Hal ini tentunya akan mengganggu jalannya pembangunan, khususnya pembangunan bidang kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kader remaja tanggap bencana terhadap penanggulangan krisis kesehatan akibat bencana di PMR SMA Negeri 8 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperiment dengan one pre and post test design. Sejumlah 40 kader PMR diberikan pelatihan kader tanggap bencana dan diukur kesiapsiagaan bencana sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Analisis data mengunakan uji paired t test. Hasil menunjukkan ada pengaruh pelatihan tanggap bencana terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi inovasi program bagi kader remaja untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana.

In science learning, the experiment is an essential activity to facilitate students to discover and develop knowledge as well as to enhance scientific process skills and self-confidence. This study aims to create a simple experimental apparatus related to the principle of fluid continuity that can be made and conducted by the teacher and student as a learning media. Basic tools were used to assemble this homemade experiment and a free video analysis software, Tracker, was used to determine and analyse the fluid velocity. The experimental results showed that the fluid flows faster in the small hose than the larger one, which is in line with the fluid continuity principle. Nevertheless, there is a slightly different volumetric water flux ("Q") in both hoses.

This activity is a “Design and Development of a Web-Commerce-based Strategy for Promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for SMEs in the East Jakarta Region.” This is motivated by various obstacles experienced by SMEs when they are not sufficiently competitive with competitors in the market. The disruptive era has driven changes in various aspects of life, including market behavior. It is undeniable that business digitization plays a very important role in business activities. For this reason, this program aims to make SMEs especially those in the East Jakarta area able to be competitive through the designed Web-Commerce, which is named lapaksenggol.com. The lapaksenggol.com web-commerce is a promotional media that can be used optimally by SMEs in the East Jakarta area to make it easier to expand market share and get closer to consumers. In addition, in the long term, the existence of lapaksenggol.com Web-Commerce will increase consumer awareness of the existence of SMEs, build networking with other business units, and increase market confidence in SMEs. As a result of the collaboration with the East Jakarta Regional Cooperative, SMEs and Trade Sub-Department, the soft launching of the lapaksenggol.com web-commerce was carried out on June 22, 2021, and the socialization of lapaksenggol.com to SMEs in East Jakarta on August 19, 2021.

TBM members require muscle endurance to implement their tasks, particularly while performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which requires chest, shoulder, and upper arm muscle endurance. Push up is a type of muscle endurance training for the chest, shoulders, and upper arms that do not require any particular equipment or skills. Therefore, the Push Up Test is required for TBM members, and the results suggest that 62% of 2020 TBM members' abilities are below average. The study was conducted on members of the Warmadewa University FKIK Medical Assistance Team to compare the Push Up workout regiments with the same concentric and eccentric phase tempo (P1) and a slower eccentric phase tempo (P2). The two methods are compared to determine which method is more effective in increasing Push Up Test ability. A total of 46 TBM members were involved in this study. The data was analyzed using the paired t-test to compare muscle endurance before and after the exercise was performed. The push up test used during the screening revealed a decrease in muscle endurance fitness, with of students having normal abilities the previous year, but only 16.4 percent in 2021. The exercise intervention 38% had a significant effect on the push up score, which increased by 4.7 points for male after the intervention, while the push up scores for women increased by 5.6 points (95% CI, 3.32 - 8.01). The results revealed that P2 intervention had a greater influence on changes in push-up scores than P1 intervention (mean change was 5.7 for males and 7.3 for females; mean change was 3.8 for males and 4.0 for females; respectfully). This difference, however, was not statistically significant. It can be concluded that push up training improved push up test ability significantly, whereas the comparison of training methods between P1 and P2 was not significantly different.

Background: Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform is one of key disruptive business models in financial technology. It bridges lenders and borrowers directly. Researchers have studied the leverage mechanism behind the P2P lending platform. Objective: This research proposes an enhanced technology acceptance model (TAM) to investigate how consumers embrace P2P lending platforms using quality of service and perceived risk as drivers of trust. Methods: This research uses structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesised connections between the latent variables. Results: The findings show that users' trust, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use in P2P lending platforms significantly influence attitudes towards adoption. Meanwhile, consumers' perceived risk in using P2P lending platforms is unaffected by the quality of service. Conclusion: The estimated model is consistent with the results shown in previous studies. The findings of the current research are useful for fine-tuning platform marketing plans and putting strategic goals into actions. For future research, we suggest including more variables to better understand the adoption intention of P2P lending platforms. Expansive soil is one of the problematic soil types due to its potential to swell highly when moisture content increases and shrink when moisture decreases. The soil exhibits mechanical behavior that is highly sensitive to changes in natural moisture content influenced by environmental factors such as infiltration and evaporation. It has the potential to damage civil structures such as road pavement and lightweight buildings. An alternative method to overcome this phenomenon is the use of ground anchors, a structural element installed into a soil or rock layer to withstand the tension load. An expandable ground anchor is proposed as an alternative to overcome the drawback of a helical anchor. Wings are installed in such a way that additional passive pressure is developed. The study was firstly conducted by performing anchor pullout capacity tests on a dense sand layer, followed by a swelling test of expansive soil, and finally, the performance test of ground anchor to withstand swelling pressure using three different sizes of steel box anchor prototypes, 4 cm × 4 cm × 30.5 cm, 5.5 cm × 5.5 cm × 30.5 cm and 7 cm × 7 cm × 30.5 cm. A series of anchor pullout capacity tests were conducted on a 90 cm dense sand layer, continued by a swelling test of 25 cm expansive.
